II CHRONICLES Chapter 3"Introduction. [1]" This

transcription/ location When YHVH our heavenly Father created the souls of each of us back in the span of time before this earth age of flesh man, He loved each of His children. Because of our Heavenly Father's great love, He cares of each of the souls of His children. When Satan [the most perfect of all created beings] sinned; one third of all God's children followed him, they turned to follow Satan as their father, rather than their Heavenly Father. Those souls lost sight of the very purpose that each soul was created for; as we read in Revelation 4:11; "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created." Our Lord identifies exactly who Satan is in Ezekiel 28; for Satan was identified as "the prince of Tyrus". Satan, the prince of Tyre [meaning, speed, or quickness] was created the perfect pattern, with the duty and mission of protecting the seat of God; Satan was "the cherubim that covereth". Satan defied his duty and turned against God, and God then said in Ezekiel 28:2 "Son of Man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, `Thus saith the Lord God; `Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, `I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas;' yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:" Satan saw himself that most perfect pattern, over all the "seas" or nations of God's creation. In Satan's mind he actually thought of himself as a God, for there was no soul as perfect as him. Ezekiel 28:12 "Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, `Thus saith the Lord God; `Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty." Satan was the only one that was created in this perfect manner that turned against God. Before Satan's fall, he was the prince of Tyrus, but after his fall he became the king of that evil kingdom called Tyrus. This is why Satan can be singled out as the "son of perdition", with all the other terms that reflect his position before God. We are told that Satan was wiser than Daniel, and in his wisdom there were no secrets that could be hid for him. God then told us through Ezekiel that Satan, like all his children that followed him, uses that wisdom get and store treasures of gold and silver, and traffic in riches. They have taken their eyes off the reason and purpose of their creation in the first place, that of giving YHVH, Father God the glory and honor and praise that is due to Him. Will Satan change and turn back? NEVER, for he actually believes in his mind that he is God. This is why God, knowing Satan's mind, has already judged Satan, and sentenced him to destruction [perdition]. Satan is "the son of perdition". Ezekiel 28:18 "Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee." However before this perdition or destruction of Satan takes place, God will use Satan to prove and test the rest of his children; as to whether they will love and follow him, or stray to the point of following this other created soul, like themselves. At the close of this earth age there will come a time of testing like this world has never seen before. Satan will actually come to earth disguised as God, and the entire world [the seas or nations] will follow him. II Thessalonians 2:3, 4 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition," [3] "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the Temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." [4] This is that time of testing, the time that God will use Satan to test those living on the earth in their flesh bodies, to see if they will flee Satan, and follow the ways of God. God warned us of all the details that will take place through His entire Word, and those that chose to not trust and study those warnings will be deceived by the supernatural ways and powers that Satan will use to tell the people of this earth that he is God. He will come as you expect God to come, and do the things that you expect Jesus Christ our Lord to do. He will sit in Jerusalem in the Temple of God, and present himself and tell the world that he is God: And most Christians will believe it and give themselves over to Satan in ignorance. The reason I am saying this, is that before Satan comes, the way will be prepared for him, it will be just as these men of Hamath, the Kenites did when the moved in, changed the things of God to their traditions. When the Kenites did this, the people of God, the Israelites of all the tribes allowed it to happen. You must understand what happened way back in that first earth age, and the sins of rebellion that took place; to understand why God required each soul to enter this earth age of flesh man. Just as each soul is required to be born from above through the birthing process to be tested, our Lord Himself was born through the womb of the Virgin Mary that was in His plan. God willfully submitted Himself to be scoffed at, suffer the humility and to die on the cross. God loved each of his children so much that He shed His blood and took the place for all those souls that would repent and put his or her sins under the blood of Jesus Christ. There was a span of time in this earth age of flesh man prior to the birth and death of our Lord Jesus Christ that caused a provision had to be made by God. That time was from the sin from the garden of Eden, to the cross: and the provision given by God was through the animal sacrifices that were made to make a temporary covering for sin for that specific year. We saw this requirement in Genesis 4:3, 4 when God did not accept a crop sacrifice, but required the blood of the firstling, the first of the flock. Because of Cain's jealous attitude when God did not accept his vegetable sacrifice, he murdered Abel his brother. Remember that Cain was Satan's son, born through Eve, when he tempted Eve into submitting to him. That was the sin in the garden of Eden. Adam partook also, and that is why these to sons of Eve were twins, with two separate fathers. The sons or offspring of Cain are called "Kenites"; that is the meaning of the word "Kenite". Some twenty eight [28] generation following Adam came Abraham, the righteous man in the eyes of God. No Kenite was in this lineage from Adam to Abraham. Because of Abraham's complete obedience to God, God made a covenant with him. That eternal Covenant with Abraham had three parts; land, offspring that would grow into nations, and Blessing for those people under the covenant promise to be eternal. He also told Abraham that his children would go down into Egypt, and be there for 400 years; and at the end of that time, come out in great numbers, and far richer than they went in. This covenant blessing was passed on from Abraham to Isaac, and to his son Jacob. We read in Genesis 48:16-21 how that blessing went to Joseph's two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh; who through many generations grew into two powerful tribes and then into nations. The book of Exodus tells us how the departure out of Egypt came, and two years later, there in the wilderness at the base of Mount Sinai God met and communed with His people Israel. It was there that God gave the plans for his house the tabernacle and all the instruments that would go to make up the form of worship that He required of His people. The Altar was made and the types of Sacrifices were laid out by YHVH God that would be required of his people. The Kenites were not part of this for they were heathen, and of their own traditions at this moment in time, just as today. There in the wilderness, God established that Aaron and his sons would be the only ones that would be allowed to administer the animal sacrifices and offerings at the Altar of God; and the high priest was designated to intercede before the Ark of the Covenant for the people. The Levites would have their duties at service at the tabernacle, and their duties were detailed in length in the book of Numbers. The House of God then was for the congregation or people to commune with God, and God to commune back to His people. This would take place in the room set apart for the Ark of the Covenant, and the mercy seat, called the Holy of Holies. The Tabernacle of God moved with the people, and was always in the form of a tent, however when the Israelites entered into the promise land and many years passed [some five hundred years (500)]; David wanted to make a house for God that would be permanent. However God did not allow David to build that house, but designated Solomon. This chapter then is the construction of that house of God that Solomon would build, and the details and planning that God gave personally to Solomon for the construction of His house. Another reminder to you and I is that these books of the Chronicles were written by the Kenites, for it was written long after the two houses or nations, Israel and Judah had fallen and were gone into captivity; Israel by the Assyrians by 722 B. C.; and Judah about 490 B. C. These Kenite scribes have identified themselves and their stronghold in the temple in I Chronicles 2:55. Remember that they are strangers given to service [Nethinim] way back in the time of David and Solomon, so by the end of the captivity Ezra lets us know that they had completely take over the priesthood. II Chronicles 3:1 "Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite." The name "Mount Moriah", meaning "shown" or "Provided" after that time in Genesis 22:1-14 when Abraham was going to offer his son Isaac in a blood sacrifice to God, as God asked of Him. However, at the last moment, seeing that Abraham was going to do exactly as God demanded, God provided a animal for that sacrifice in the bushes near by. God showed David where the Temple was to be build, and at that time, David made the preparations for the construction that would take place after his death. II Chronicles 3:2 "And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign." This put the year of the beginning of construction in 917 B. C. Remember that the Jewish calendar year begins at the Vernal Spring Equinox, that begins the countdown to the night of the Passover fourteen days later, and at 6:00 P.M. that night begins the fifteenth day, and the start of the Passover feast and feast days. that first month is "Nisan" and the feast would go on for two weeks so the construction would start right after Passover feast days in the month of "Iyar". Obviously Solomon observed all of Passover that year. II Chronicles 3:3 "Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits." The details and instructions for the Tabernacle were given to Moses on his fourth ascent up Mount Sinai, as recorded in Exodus 24:1 through Exodus 32:14. Every detail for Tabernacle worship was given; including the instruments, the furniture within, and curtains for its construction and how each was to be made and by whom. Nothing was left to change or question. If a person was to construct something or make something from cloth; God prepared that person for the task before the moment that the construction would begin. God would give the knowledge to that person to do the job right the first time. In the construction of the Temple of the Lord our Heavenly Father did the same, revealing the dimensions and details to Solomon himself. "Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God." Just like in the building of the Tabernacle, Moses had the dimensions, but the men and women doing the job were trained and knew their skills ahead of time. Solomon had the dimensions and knowledge, and the men would have the skills and understanding to get the job done. Just as God allowed the Kenites to be part of the construction of the house of God, he also allowed them to move into our church houses and take part in the testing of His people in these end times. Our temple of God in these last days, are the body of Christ, the Christians that claim the name of Jesus Christ. Will Kenites be amongst us? Of course they will be, in fact they will take a very important role, and that is why we are to expect it, and each of us become skilled in His Word. In Matthew 13: Jesus warned us that there would be tares scattered amongst the wheat, but we are not the one to do the pulling up of the tares, that will be the angels of God's duty. They will know the ones that are of the devil and those that are under the blood of Christ. You see when a Kenite is saved, he becomes a child of God just as you and I are, and he no longer is a tare. God knows the heart of each person, and only He does the judging. This House of God then was constructed about one hundred and twenty feet long and about forty to forty five feet wide. II Chronicles 3:4 "And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold." This porch stretched across the entire from of this house, with the height of the structure reaching up one hundred and twenty cubits [240 feet] high. When you picture this structure in your mind, now fix that it will be completely covered inside and out with pure gold. Think of the massive amount of God that David and Solomon had to collect in the construction of this house. As you think of this amount of gold, remember that the end time house of God will be similar, and I often think that this is why God allowed the Kenites' Federal Reserve System to take our nation off the gold standard, and place us on the standard of productivity; floating paper, worth only what people say it is worth in their minds; and based on the productivity of our nation. Think of it: what better way to control a people than through their debt and their worthless money supply. When you control the workplace, then you control the bread earner and his family. That nation then comes under the control of the people that control that system. They give and they take away. It should be God that does this, but they make you depend on them. Who is "them", the "hidden ones" that Amos the prophet warned us against [Kenites]. Paul warned us in I Corinthians 10:11 that all these things are given as warning to those that are living in these latter days. It's time to wake up before it is too late. II Chronicles 3:5 "And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains." II Chronicles 3:6 "And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim [Orient]." "Parviam" in Solomon's day was in the Orient, an Oriental region. Remember what Strongs Hebrew Dictionary # 7014 said concerning the Kenites? "Quyin; the same as 7013 (with a play on the affinity to 7069, Kajin, the name of the first child [Cain], and a place in Pal, and of an Oriental tribe, Kenite." When Cain murdered his brother Abel, God placed a mark on him and his lineage. Cain was kicked out of the Garden of Eden and went to the East, the Orient, to take a wife from the sixth day creation. These Kenites needed much gold and here King Hiram the Kenites went back home to the Orient to get the gold from their relatives. II Chronicles 3:7 "He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls." II Chronicles 3:8 "And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents." Consider one talent of pure gold is equal to 131 pounds Troy. In the Kings weight that talent of gold would be more, 158 pounds Troy. The king was putting the order in for the gold, first King David, and then King Solomon. So the order was for 600 talents times 158 pounds Troy, and we have quite a stack of gold purchased from the Kenites for the construction of this Temple of God. II Chronicles 3:9 "And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chamber with gold." II Chronicles 3:10 "And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold." The Temple was made up of three parts, the porch, the holy place which is the sanctuary, and the Holy of Holies, which is this "holy house" stated here. So this is the description of the the two cherubims carved in the wall and over laid with pure gold within the Holy of Holies. II Chronicles 3:11 "And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub." Remember that the massive amounts of God came not only from the orient, but also accumulated by David from the mines of Ophir, from deep in the heart of Africa. Think for a moment how God blessed His people to be able to purchase this massive amount of gold and timbers for the construction of this beautiful house of God. II Chronicles 3:12 "And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wings of these cherubims." II Chronicles 3:13 "The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward." These giant cherubims were inside the Holy of holies, and facing inward, or towards the Ark of the Covenant. Remember that all these items that were not of cloth, where lined and covered over with pure gold. These Cherubims spread their wings across the Holy of Holies some twenty feet high, and twenty feet wide; wing tip to wing tip they reached forty feet across the Holy of Holies as they faced the Ark of the Covenant. This was the meeting place where our Lord YHVH would commune with His people through the High priest. When our Lord Jesus Christ went to the cross, and His blood was shed for us, this place called the Holy of Holies was done away with. Why? Because the price of the shed blood of the innocent Lamb was paid there on the cross. When we come to Christ through our repentance in Jesus Name, there is no need for such a structure as this, for the new temple for the past two thousand years is the body of Christ. That body is made of believers that have placed their blood at the foot of the cross, and by their faith in the finished work on the cross of Christ, are committed to following His Way. There is only one way for us to have eternal life, and Jesus told us that way. "I am the Way, the truth, and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." [John 14:6] However prior to the death of our Lord Jesus Christ, this room called the Holy of Holies is where the High priest met and sacrificed, and communed for those in that age to YHVH our heavenly Father. II Chronicles 3:14 "And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon." This beautiful vail that was the door into the Holy of Holies is what separated God from His People. Lets go to Luke 23:44 and read what happened to that vail. Luke 23:44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour." Luke 23:45 "And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the Temple was rent in the midst." Luke 23:46 "And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, He said, "Father, into Thy hands I commend My spirit:" and having said thus, He gave up the ghost." That veil is what separated God from man, and this veil rent meant that there was no need for a Holy of Holies for man to come to the Father, that barrier was broken, and that temporary means at the altar in the Temple was no longer needed. Hebrews 10:8 "Above when He said, "Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin Thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein;" which are offered by the law;" The Law that God gave to Moses on Mount Sinai was the requirement established first to commune with our Lord. The Law included all the many types of offerings and sacrifices, which we call the ordinances of the law, and these blood sacrifices for sin ordinances were done away with at the cross of Christ. Yet the Law out side of all those blood ordinances are still in affect through this entire earth age, and Jesus warned us in Matthew 5:18 "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Jesus summed it all up in verses 21, 22 "Ye have heard that it was said by them of old, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:'" [21] "But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, `Raca,' shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, `Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire." [22] The commandments of the law are still with us, and we are to follow them to have our Lord bless us. But our approach to our heavenly Father now goes through the blood of Christ, and that is why we pray our prayers "in Jesus name." Hebrews 10:9 "Then said He, "Lo, I come to do Thy will, O God." He taketh away the first, that He may establish the second." Hebrews 10:10 "By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." By the perfect will of God we are set apart or sanctified through the blood sacrifice that our Lord Jesus Christ paid on the cross for one and all times. Its completely up to you what you choose, to repent and go under the blood of Christ, or take one of these side trips to where ever they take you, but in the end they all stop in hell fire. Let's go back to see the finishes touches on the Temple of God that Solomon built. II Chronicles 3:15 "Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits." The "Chapiter" of the pillars are the crowns of each column, at the top of the pillar. These decorations on the pillars will be from the top of the seventy five foot pillar, down some ten to twelve feet. II Chronicles 3:16 "And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains." The "chains" are the "wreathen work" on the pillars. The "oracle" in the Hebrew is "debar" meaning Word. The Word is where God communes with His people in the Holy of Holies. Today our oracle is the Holy Bible that we read and are led by the Holy Spirit, yet in Solomon's day, the people gathered outside the Holy of holies to wait on God to commune with man. So what this verse is telling us is that the wreathen works of leaves and pomegranates that were crafted inside the Holy of holies is the same type of work that was crafted on the two pillars in the front of the Temple. II Chronicles 3:17 "And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left: and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz." Here in front of the Temple are these two huge pillars, one pillar on the right side of the temple, and the other on the left. These two pillars stood about seventy five feet high, as they rose above the front porch of the temple. All around the sides of these pillars were carved in stone, of pictures of leaves and pomegranates to make the very beautiful, and Solomon named the pillar to the right "Jochin"; and the pillar to the left "Boaz". So what do these two names mean? "Jochin" means in the Hebrew; "He (God) will establish"; and "Boaz" means "In Him (God) is strength". So who is this referring to? It is in reference to God's people Israel; all the tribes of the seed of Jacob. The Bible is on one man Adam, and his family in this earth age of flesh man. Many times and in many ways Satan tried to mess over the lineage of Adam, since it was know by Satan that the Christ, God in the flesh would come through Adams family. Of course the first attack was when Satan and Eve had their first child, Cain. However after Cain murdered Abel, God gave Adam Seth to continue that lineage to Christ. That lineage is clear all the way to Noah, and the time of the flood. Then after the flood, there were fourteen generations from Noah to Abraham, the man that God made the everlasting covenant with. From Abraham to the coming out of Egypt was 400 years, and then another 40 years through the wilderness, to the entering into the promise land; and the next three hundred years were under the time of the Judges. When the people cried out for a king, God heard the people and gave them Saul. When Saul died David was anointed and appointed King over Israel. God would not allow David to build the Temple, but allowed that duty to his son Solomon. So as we read in Chapter three, this permanent structure was finally built, and was it ever a spectacular sight to view. Chapter four is a continuation of chapter three on the building of the Temple.
