I Chronicles 6:1 "The sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari."

The offspring of these three families of Levi were assigned the duties of the tabernacle in the wilderness of the taking down of the tent, panels and all the posts and things that went to make up the tabernacle. They transported those tabernacle tent, panels, and all the goods that belonged to the tabernacle, and then reset it up when they would stop along the trail for a while.

Numbers 3:5 - 7 "And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying," [3] "Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him." [6] "And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle." [7]

These three families of Levi were dedicated and anointed by God to do the work of the tabernacle and serve Aaron and the his family as they preformed the duties for the congregation in the tabernacle. These three families were the ones God assigned to do the work necessary to perform the animal sacrifices and keep the tabernacle in good order. In time the Kenites would take over those duties, place themselves over God's people and replace God's Laws and ordinances with their man made traditions. There would not be one Levite left to do the service for the Lord, when the House of Judah returned out of captivity, as we read in Ezra 8:15.

Ezra 8:15 "And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava: and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the People, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi."

This gathering took place by the prophet Ezra, as he was bringing the children of Judah out of captivity of Babylon, and returning back to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple and worship of God as God instructed through His law. The thing that Ezra overlooked was that the Levites did not stay with them in Babylon, and their captivity, but the Kenites, Satan's kids took over their house of worship, and replaced the seat of Moses with their own traditions. As Ezra view this mass of some 43,000 souls returning to Jerusalem, not one in that massive wagon train was fit to stand before the altar of God, and give the offerings. Those claiming to be priest were all, every last one of them Kenites, Satan's kids, with their families.

Though the house of Judah became blinded to the things of God and their house of worship, the Kenites did not. They knew that the coming Messiah would be coming through that blood line of Judah, and they were bound and determined to mess over things. The sons of Levi were given strict orders as to what they would do to please God, in the keeping of the tabernacle laws and ordinances, the instruments to be used and the only way to approach our Heavenly Father; but in time the future generations lost sight of those things.

Numbers 3:8 "And they [the Levites] shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle."

These Kenites have demonstrated that they have taken over and were the scribes and records keepers over God's people, and in complete control over God's house coming out of Babylon. It would be these Kenites that would sit in the seat of Moses, and tell the people what they should do, and prepare them for their coming Messiah; The Kenites kept the records and these writings of the Chronicles are of their doing, yet it is here in the Word of God for a purpose, just as those Kenites were allowed to take control over God's house for a purpose. This is part of the plan of God, and Satan's own kids are the one that murdered our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as they plotted to take His life. When they drove the spikes through the hands and feet of Jesus, and took his life, they doomed to crushed the head of their very own father, Satan. and that judgment will be carried out following the great white throne Judgment, as we read of in Revelation 20:11-15. The things that these Kenites did were all foretold by the prophets, even back in the garden of Eden.

Genesis 3:15 "And I [God speaking] will put enmity between thee [Satan] and the woman [Eve], and between thy seed [Satan's children, the Kenites] and her Seed [Jesus the Christ]; It [That act of offering Christ by the Kenites] shall bruise thy head [Satan's head], and thou [the Kenites] shalt bruise His [Jesus'] heel."

The moment Cain murdered his half brother Abel, God could have take his life, yet our Heavenly Father chose to allow the seed or generations of Satan to live on to perform the very act that would condemn their father Satan. When Jesus faced these offspring of Satan in John 8, he told them to their face who they were, and identified them as such.

72John 8:43, 44 "Why do ye not understand My speech? even because ye cannot hear My word." [43] "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." [44]

Jesus is speaking to the Jewish Kenite religious leaders that were in charge of the temple in Jesus' day. Jesus is telling these men exactly who they were, and why they did not understand the things that He, Jesus, was saying. The first Murderer was Cain, and the word "Kenite", means "sons of Cain". When Cain murdered Abel, he lied to God about the murder, just as his father, Satan the father of lies, would have done. Jesus is telling these Jewish Kenite religious leaders that they are not able to believe and even see the truth of what Jesus was saying because their minds was full of the traditional thoughts of Satan, their father. Remember that when you bring a child up on a lie, he will believe that lie the rest of his life. Those lies then become the foundation of his thinking.

John 8:45 "And because I tell you the truth, ye believe Me not."

Well, we got sidetracked a bit, but this part of I Chronicles is looking at the genealogy of Levi, the tribe that was selected by God to be scattered amongst all the tribes, and be the priests.

I Chronicles 6:2 "And three sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel."

I Chronicles. 6:3 "And the children of Amram; Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons also of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar."

We are shown the lineage from Aaron, and Leviticus 10:1 allows us to see the looseness of Aarons first two sons. "And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord which He commanded them not." They put the hot coals from the common cooking coals back home to use on the altar of God. God set out the details of how worship would be at the altar of God, and these two Nadab and Abihu, thought they could take a short cut. As you look at all the short cuts taking place, and things that go against the word of God in your church house, think of God's attitude towards your traditions that make void the Word of God.

I Chronicles 6:4 "Eleazar begat Phinehas, Phinehas begat Abishua,"

When the children of Israel were camped on the plains of Moab, ready to enter in and take the promise land, The men of the camp started mixing with the ladies of the area. They not only laid with them, but married them and took their heathen Baal worship into their tents. God told Moses to clean up the area, get rid of these heathen and all those that are tied in with them and will not change their ways. Numbers 25:5 "And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, "Slay ye every one of his men that were joined unto Baal-peor." " But the congregation sat by, wept and condoned the filth of Baal worship that had taken over their camp. It is Phinehas that took his spear, and entered into the tent of the leader of and started the act of cleaning up the camp from the filth of Baal-peor worship [the sex orgies that had taken over the congregation.]

Numbers 25:7, 8 "And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;" [7] "And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel." [8]

Remember that Baal-peor worship dealt with sex acts in their religious practices. The Israelites became the whores and prostitutes for the Moabites and Amlikites in their religious practices, and from those acts, plagues spread through the camp of the children of Israel. Numbers 25:9 "And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand." Something had to be done to stop the plague, and the Baal practice from killing off the entire camp. After all they had not reached the promise land yet, and sitting right across the river Jordan, would they all die off there? Phinehas was the one that made the first move, he took his javelin, and went after the highest man in charge that was taking part in Baal practices. The other followed, and the camp site was made clean.

We are about to enter into another promise land, that of the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ, at the sounding of the seventh trump. We are encamped by the river of the sixth trump, as the other trumps have already sounded, and the one world order has taken its control. Most of the church houses have done as many of those Israelites on the plain of Moab had done, and tasted of the thrills of Baal-peor, the religions and traditions of the heathen. Just as the the children of Israel sat by, and did not lift a hand to stop the leadership from allowing these things to enter into their worship.

Our church houses today take delight in mixing Satan's thrills and practices into their worship. The plague of our day is not physical though but spiritual, and the problem here with us today is that Satan himself will be here with us shortly, and most of the preachers of our day simply do not know the difference between Satan and our Lord Jesus Christ. When Balaam the false prophet looked down on the children of Israel, He knew that no force could take the camp of Israel, so he sent the maiden, and attacked their weakness, through their pleasures, and slackness in their house of worship. At first it looked so innocent, and these young maiden looked so innocent, but before it was all over, 24,000 had lost their lives. When Satan arrives here on earth, how many will lose their spiritual lives because of the false teachings and traditions that have been allowed to be taught in our church houses. Jesus tells us that family members will turn their own children and parents over to Satan, and take pride in their ignorance of what they are doing.

As we read through these names, remember that these Chronicles are at the hand of the Kenites, and thus there will be some truth mixed with these many name that are given.

I Chronicles 6:5 "And Abishua begat Bukki, and Bukki begat Uzzi,"

I Chronicles 6:6 "And Uzzi begat Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begat Meraioth,"

I Chronicles 6:7 "Meraioth begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,"

I Chronicles 6:8 "And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Ahimaaz,"

I Chronicles 6:9 "And Ahimaaz begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Johanan,"

I Chronicles 6:10 "And Johanan begat Azariah, (he is the executed the priests office in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem:)"

I Chronicles 6:11 "And Azariah begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,"

I Chronicles 6:12 "And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,"

I Chronicles 6:13 "And Shallum begat Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begat Azariah,"

I Chronicles 6:14 "And Azariah begat Seraiah, and Seraiah begat Jehozadak,"

I Chronicles 6:15 "And Jehozadak went into captivity, when the Lord carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar."

When the children of the house of Judah went into captivity, the daughters of king Zedekiah were taken by Jeremiah to Egypt. One daughter married into royalty into Spain, and the other daughter went to Ireland to marry into royalty for the first overturning. There would be two more overturnings before the throne of David would end in England, and continue on today. So what ever royal line of David existed at the time of this writing, over seventy years after the captivity, the royal of David was not in the middle east, nor in Judah, but in Ireland.

I Chronicles 6:16 "The sons of Levi; Gershom, Kohath, and Merari."

These three families of the sons of Levi had a duty before God as is given in Numbers 3:5-7 "And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying," [5] "Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto his." [6] "And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle. [7]

Their duty was to present themselves to Aaron the High priest, and to the sons of Aaron that were to stand before the altar of God, and minister unto the congregation.

Numbers 3:8, 9 "And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle." [8] "And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel." [9]

Each of these families had their specific duties within the Tabernacle, for the maintaining of the tent, cutting of the wood, and keeping of the thousand of animals that were necessary for all the sacrifices that were required by God in their worship. For forty years this congregation would be on the move throughout the desert lands of the middle east, and water had to be gotten, instruments cleaned, and the tent and fences had to be taken down, packed and moved, and then reset up when they would stop to rest. There were some sixty thousand of these three families, and the task was an enormous task. However, for Aaron and his sons:

Numbers 3:10 "And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest's office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death."

Get it? God doesn't like the heathen and those strangers not assigned to the office of the priest to be playing the role of the priest. In time the sons of Aaron became very sloppy in their duties, robbers, and using the office to seduce women. It would be many hundreds of years after Moses appointed Aaron and his sons, that this office would be completely taken over by the Kenites, that time when Judah would come out of their captivity in Babylon. As we study the Scripture, remember that God has a plan for you, and a plan for His people. Certain prophecies had to take place, and they did take place exactly as they were prophesied, yet there are many other prophecies that will take place right before our eyes.

God knew that His people would be present when all these things took place, and His warnings are given to you and I through examples that happened to others, and were written in His Word. I Corinthians 10:11 "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come." Those things that happened in the Old Testament are written down as samples, written as a warning to those people that are living in the time of the end. That time is now. The time of the end started when the Jews returned to the middle east and set up their little kingdom called Israel. That was what Jesus called "The planting of the fig tree", and He told us; "Now learn the parable of the fig tree," for that generation that saw it would not die off until all the prophecies of the end time would be over and done with.

I Chronicles 6:17 "And these be the names of the sons of Gershom; Libni, and Shimei."

I Chronicles 6:18 "And the sons of Kohath were, Amroam, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel."

I Chronicles 6:19 "The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers."

I Chronicles 6:21 "Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeaterai his son,"

I Chronicles 6:23 "Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son,"

I Chronicles 6:24 "Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son."

I Chronicles 6:33 "And these are they that waited with their children, Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman a singer, (the son of Joel, the son of Shemuel,"

I Chronicles 6:34 "The son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,"

I Chronicles 6:37 "The son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,"

I Chronicles 6:38 "The son of Izhar, the son of Hohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel)."

I Chronicles 6:45 "The son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,"

I Chronicles 6:46 "The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shamer,"

I Chronicles 6:47 "The son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.)."

This verse should have brought us to the time of the captivity, yet coming out of the captivity, not one of this family were present to return to reestablish the temple worship, for the entire priest hood and duties of the scribes had been taken over by Satan's kids, the Kenites. These Kenites announced this fact in I Chronicles 2:55; "And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez [Jerusalem]; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came from Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab." The time of this return, 509 B.C. So the question comes up: Where did Hahli, Mushi and Merari go? and what happened to them during and after the captivity?

I Chronicles 6:48 "Their brethren also the Levites were appointed unto all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God."

We read of this in Numbers 3, as given prior in this chapter.

I Chronicles 6:49 "But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded."

When the children of Israel were back in Egypt under the bondage of the Pharaoh, God sent Moses and Aaron in to demand that the Pharaoh release the children of Israel and allow them to go. The Pharaoh refused, and after nine miracles before Pharaoh, God sent to death angel to pass over Egypt and claim the life of the first born of all households, both animal and men. Following this passing over of the death angel, Pharaoh released the children of Israel, only each family and home that had the blood of the lamb on their doorpost and over the door, did not lose the life of the firstborn of that home.

So God claimed the life of each firstborn as his for service of all the tribes from that day forth. However in the wilderness, God allowed the redemption of that duty or service to the house of God to be released or redeemed as each member of the tribe of Levi was to be placed in that firstborn's place of service.

Numbers 3:12 "And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be Mine."

Get it, the Levites, not the Kenites, are the only ones among the children of Israel, instead of the firstborn of the families, are the ones to administer the work at the temple of the Lord. The whole reason for the numbering of the Levites back in the wilderness, was to establish the number of Levites with the number of firstborn in each family of the other tribes, for the sake of redeeming them for the service of the Lord's house. God had given Moses the plan of how His people were to approach Him, for the forgiveness of their sins, and that was through the sacrifices of the blood of animals. Each of the offerings had to be given in a certain manner, as we studied in both Leviticus and the book of Numbers, and these offerings of blood sacrifices went on until the death of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. They and only then was the perfect sacrifice given for one and all times.

It is only through the blood of Jesus Christ, that God will accept repentance and give forgiveness; for there is not other way. There is only one True God, and He is YHVH, and the way to his throne is your coming to Him by faith and repentance in His Son Jesus the Christ.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, That He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Friend, that is the only way to eternal salvation. No other way is permitted. Before the cross of Christ, the Levites, sons of Aaron made the sacrifices once a year in Jerusalem on the altar. However after the cross of Christ, that way was done away with, and each of us could and must go directly to God, through the cross of Christ, and that is why all of our prayers that are to be accepted by God, must be "In Jesus Name." By this you recognize that His blood is what you are believing in and accepting as the payment for your sins, and that allows you to approach the throne of YHVH our Heavenly Father.

I Chronicles 6:50 "And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,"

I Chronicles 6:51 "Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,"

I Chronicles 6:52 "Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,"

I Chronicles 6:53 "Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son."

I Chronicles 6:54 "Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot."

What this verse is stating is that when the priests and those Kenites that claimed to be of Levi returned to Jerusalem and Judah after the captivity, they were claiming the lands and cities that were set aside by Joshua for the Levites, belonged to them. They were claiming the rights to those lands. This is probably why these books of Chronicles were written in the first place, to give their Kenite families a claim to lands and wealth that existed there. Many of these names are just that, names, that have no identification to any other place in the Scriptures. They wrote the books and they put the books in. They figured out the genealogies, and they then took over the traditions that would be taught. Notice now how they set out to identify each of the land that the ancient Levites were given by Joshua, over 1100 years prior.

I Chronicles 6:55 "And they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and the suburbs thereof round about it."

"They gave..." It was Joshua that dealt out the land. "They" of course would be they to the Kenites. We know that the Kenites would be accurate in this part of their writings, for it is lands that they are claiming to belong to the priests, and they are the priests.

I Chronicles 6:56 "But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh."

I Chronicles 6:57 "And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cites of Judah, namely, Hebron, the city of Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs,"

I Chronicles 6:58 "And Helen with her suburbs, Debir with her suburbs,"

I Chronicles 6:59 "And Ashan with her suburbs, and Bethshemesh with her suburbs:"

I Chronicles 6:60 "And out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with her suburbs, and Alemeth with her suburbs. All their cites throughout their families were thirteen cities."

I Chronicles 6:61 "And unto the sons of Kohath, which were left of the family of the tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities."

I Chronicles 6:62 "And to the sons of Greshom throughout their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities."

I Chronicles 6:63 "Unto the son of Merari were given by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities."

We know that six of these cities were called "cities of refuge" where the innocent could run to for protection, but after the captivity that part of the Word was set aside.

I Chronicles 6:64 "And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their suburbs."

I Chronicles 6:65 "And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by their names."

I Chronicles 6:66 "And the residue of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their coasts out of the tribe of Ephraim."

I Chronicles 6:67 "And they gave unto them, of the cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim with her suburbs; they gave also Gezer with her suburbs,"

I Chronicles 6:68 "And Jekmean with her suburbs, and Beth-horon with her suburbs,"

I Chronicles 6:69 "And Aijalon with her suburbs, and Gathrimmon with her suburbs:"

I Chronicles 6:70 "And out of half the tribe of Manasseh; Aner with her suburbs, and Bileam with her suburbs, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Kohath."

I Chronicles 6:71 "Unto the sons of Gershom were given out of the family of the half tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, and Ashtaroth with her suburbs:"

I Chronicles 6:72 "And out of the tribe of Issachar; Kedesh with her suburbs, Daberath with her suburbs,"

I Chronicles 6:73 "And Ramoth with her suburbs, and Anem with her suburbs:"

I Chronicles 6:74 "And out of the tribe of Asher; Mashal with her suburbs, and Abdon with her suburbs."

I Chronicles 6:75 "And Hukok with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs:"

I Chronicles 6:76 "And of the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, and Hammon with her suburbs, and Kirjathaim with her suburbs."

I Chronicles 6:77 "Unto the rest of the children of Merari were given out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmon with her suburbs, Tabor with her suburbs:"

I Chronicles 6:78 "And on the other side of Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, were given them out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with her suburbs, and Jahzah with her suburb,"

I Chronicles 6:79 "Kedemoth also with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs:"

I Chronicles 6:80 "And out of the tribe of Gad; Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, and Mahanaim with her suburbs,"

I Chronicles 6:81 "And Heshbon with her suburbs, and Jazer with her suburbs."

By the time the Chronicles were written, the other tribes had long been scattered by the Assyrians, removed from the land, take to a place in northern Iraq, and they fled from their through the Caucasus mountains and to the far west. So by the time a Kenite set his pen to the paper, all his could call them was "the other" as we will read in the next chapter. It was important to establish what lands were given to the Levites back in Joshua's day, for that land was an inheritance that could never be taken from that family of Levites, and that would be the bases for obtaining the land from what every nations held the land, or king that ruled over it.

Even today the Jews, of Judah and Kenites, take the land called Israel, they go back to the Scriptures for the basis of their right to be on the land, and claim it to be theirs.
