Chapter 7, verse 1, continues with the last thought of the previous chapter

Amos 7:1 "Thus hath the Lord God shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings."

This is Amos the prophet speaking. The "grasshoppers" are "locust" in their latter growth stage: This takes place in the latter days. In other words, in the latter days this locust army (the Kenites) will consume and take most of what is left that the "king's mowings" (taxes) haven't taken from God's people. When this is applied to spiritual truth, there will be no spiritual truth left in the churches.

Amos 7:2 "And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord God, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small."

Amos is saying, after seeing the damage of the Kenites (locust army), who's going to feed the church, feed your people? Who is going to help them? There are so few who truly know the truth ("for he is small").

Amos 7:3 "The Lord repented for this: It shall not be, saith the Lord."

The Lord didn't say He would stop the locust army; only that He won't let this locust army eat or destroy all of them. Revelation 9:4 gives the answer: "And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads." God said, "Touch not mine anointed" (the elect), for those who have the seal of God in their forehead know who Satan is. They will not be tempted by him.

Amos 7:4 "Thus hath the Lord God shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord God called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part."

God said at the appointed time, He will burn them.

Amos 7:5 "Then said I, O Lord God, cease, I beseech Thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small."

Amos is pleading for God's mercy on Jacob. Remember, everything in this chapter is symbolic.

Amos 7:6 "The Lord repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord God."

God told Amos that He wouldn't destroy them all. Why? Because God's elect will be there at this time. (Here in this final generation).

Amos 7:7 "Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand."

A plumbline is a gauge line which will be held true and accurate by God's laws, and the laws of nature (gravity). The wall is the wall of our protection which is by Our Heavenly Father. So God is telling us we have His laws and written word, which are true and accurate, and His guided protection will be our protection in this final generation. God has warned us of everything we ought to know in this final generation through His Word. In Ezekiel 38 & 39 God allows us to see how that wall and security works when the armies come against us. Our plumbline to walk by is our Savior Jesus Christ, who set the example for us. When you sin and fall short, you always come back in line with that plumbline, Christ. This we do through the blood of Jesus Christ in repentance in Jesus name.

Amos 7:8 "And the Lord said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:"

God said he would not pass by those who held to the truth, that seal in their mind and followed that truth.

Amos 7:9 "And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jer-o-bo'-am with the sword."

"Jeroboam" represents all ten tribes of the "House of Israel". When the kingdom split at the death of Solomon, Jeroboam became king over the ten tribes to the north. They are the Christian nations of today. Never put your reliance in the government of any nation. For God blesses governments and he tears them down. The Godless trend of our leaders taking us into the world order taking control today; God is not happy with. Hold to the plumbline (Christ) and let Him be our wall of security. The plumbline is God's word, chapter by chapter and verse by verse. God will continue to bless.

Amos 7:10 "Then Am-a-zi'-ah the priest of Beth'-el sent to Jer-o-bo'-am king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words."

Amaziah was the head priest in the northern kingdom called the "House of Israel", when the house Israel was led into worshipping the golden calf. God's house, "Beth'-el", had been taken over by "Bal" worship, and this pagan priest is accusing Amos of conspiring against the temple worship of Bal. So relate this no to the church in our day. This is prophecy so look at Amos' words, for they are projected to our generation, yet they fit the time of Amos, also. So much has crept into our churches today, though it is not a golden calf but it is the form of traditions that make void (a substitute) for the Word of God.

Amos 7:11 "For thus Amos saith, Jer-o-bo'-am shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land."

This verse is a bold faced lie, for the Hebrew manuscript (Masssorah) shows Amos just did not say this. The Kenite infiltration of scribes corrupted the Word here. Amos said there would be the captivity, however, another priest made this statement, which did not come true. The Kenite scribes, desiring to confuse and corrupt the Prophecy of Amos, accused the wrong person. Amaziah was the accuser, not Amos. We must be aware of what happened in Ezra's day, where by the Nethinims, the Orientals, the Kenite sons of Satan had taken over the priesthood completely, coming out of Babylonian captivity.

Ezra 8:15 "And I (Ezra) gather them together to the river that runmneth to Ahava; And there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the People, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi."

Here the house of Judah is returning to rebuild the temple and set up temple worship, and not one of the tribe of Levi, the Levitical priesthood is returning. Half of those returning are not of the lineage of Abraham, but Kenites of Hamath. We are warned of this in I Chronicles 2:55; "And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez (Jerusalem); the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab." It is from these Kenites, sons of Satan through Cain, that this verse was changed to be what it reads.

Amos 7:12 "Also Am-a-zi'-ah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:"

Amaziah was fed up with Amos and his prophecies. Those prophesies were disruptive to his Bal worship service, as Amaziah and the rest of the "House of Israel" were worshipping their cow (golden calf). Today the the golden calves are in many forms, and appear as buildings, trinkets, and even traditions and doctrines.

Sounds sort of like today. When prophecy came out of Waco, Texas, our Kenite infiltrated government went in with guns blazing just to silence their words. Then the plots and lies were created to convince people of "the threat" those few and their 28 babies to them and our land. This is also what is going on in most of the churches today. The priests and people just cannot stand for their pagan traditions and worship to be interfered with or any thing that would stop the flow of money to their coffers.

Amos 7:13 "But prophesy not again any more at Beth'-el: for it is the king's chapel, and it is the king's court."

Amaziah, like most pastors of today, said, don't come to the "House of God" (Bethel) with the truth, go elsewhere! If you want to earn a living prophesying, go to Judah, just don't do it here.

Notice the priest Amaziah doesn't even call it God's house, but the "king's chapel;". It's set up by the government and controlled by the government as to what is worshipped. Then it was a cow. Today it's "birds" as everyone is getting ready to fly away. They were blinded by Bal worship in Amos' day. Today, it's a mixture of many heathen religious forms blended to cause a deception so great that instead of knowing when to expect Our Lord's return, most of the church world, Catholic, Protestant, Moslem, etc., will go chasing after Satan, and think he is their messiah.

Amos 7:14 "Then answered Amos, and said to Am-a-zi'-ah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:"

Amos is correcting Amaziah, for all Amaziah can think of concerning Amos is, "he is one of us". Quite obviously, Amaziah didn't know Amos, and just started spreading lies to fight Amos. That is exactly what we will face when we try to tell the truth of God's Word in these final days. Amos let Amaziah know he wasn't trained in his schools to follow his traditional ways. He was a herdsman and a fruit picker. Amos also is not the son of one of their priests.

Amos 7:15 "And the Lord took me as I followed the flock, and the Lord said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel."

Notice, God didn't say Judah, but Israel. The majority of old Israel comprises the Christian nations today.

Hosea 1:10 "Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, `Ye are not My People,' there is shall be said unto them, `Ye are the sons of the living God.' "

Hosea is talking about the people of the house of Israel living in the latter days. The house of Israel had been scattered, and will not return, as the house of Judah, mixed with the Kenites have done in 1948. So in the places that these tribes have lived as nations around the world, they shall all be know by one factor; they shall be called "the sons of the living God". This applies only to the ten tribes spoken of by Amos, for the Jews, the house of Judah denies that Christ ever existed, and then tells you what a wicked man that was. The Christian nations are so blind that they actually call themselves "Gentile nations". You can't get any blinder than that. The Jews will not allow you to preach to their people, for when the light of the Word comes in, the darkness is gone. Jesus the Christ is the Living God, and those nations that are of the old house of Israel are the Christian nations of today.

Amos 7:16 "Now therefore hear thou the word of the Lord: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac."

Amos 7:17 "Therefore thus saith the Lord; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land."

Amos is saying, you tell me not to prophecy, however, this is what will happen to you. God told Amos what to say. Pay attention, this prophecy is to our generation, for the end times. What city are we talking about? Babylon. We know it wasn't in the ancient times, for at that time it was Assyria which overthrew the "House of Israel". "The wife" is in reference to her religious order, or church, as we know it today. If her church shall be a harlot to Babylon (see Revelation 17), we see that this church will follow the wrong Christ. It will not be as a virgin bride when Christ the husband returns to claim His bride. She will have gone whoring after the first Christ, the false one. All who have not studied God's Word will have been ensnared in Babel, or confusion.

The "sword" are words of deception that will cover the land with false teachings, and the "death" that claims the lives of Israel's sons and daughters is a spiritual death. The "captivity forth of his land" is to a land where this takes place in the end days, just prior to the Lord's return.

Where could that be? We know in 722 B.C., nation called the "house of Israel" was taken captive, then these Israelites fled through the Caucasus Mountains, then north and west to where the Christian nations of today are. The offspring of the "House of Israel" that made that journey are identified as "Caucasians" today. Today this house of Israel, or Christian nations would rather worship under their own traditions, than the prophecy of Amos. Amos was sent by Almighty God to show us the "burden" God has in heart in His love for you. The "polluted land" is in reference to the heathen soil, where that settlement shall take place, and continue to the time of the end.

Amaziah was right to one point when he stated, "These are not houses of God but the people's houses of their government": Used to control the thoughts of the people, and elevate the government's control and position. If you were to walk in to most protestant churches, or even Catholic, and teach the "parable of the fig tree", you would have a bunch of irate people on your hands. Even if Jesus walked in to teach His truth, it just would not be accepted. He would be asked to leave.

If you have a true house of God you're attending, support it. If not, you have a decision to make, and only you can make it. It concerns your soul and its future. Let's respect God and worship Him, when we say we love Him. Don't you think He deserves it?
