DANIEL Daniel Chapter 12 "The sealing of The Book until the End Times." This Bible Study

with written permission by http://www.theseason.org Daniel 12:1 "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book." "That time" is at Satan's end. Michael the archangel will be the one who stands for us. This time of trouble that is coming on earth is worse than this earth has ever seen. That includes Noah's flood, and the total destruction that ended the first earth age. Jesus talks about this in Mark 13:19-22. It is at the time of this complete devastation that Michael will deliver God's people to the true messiah. That is, all the people that are written in the book, "Lamb's Book of Life". Read Revelation 20:4-5 for an understanding of what will happen at this time. If you accepted the seal of Satan, and fell for his lies, no doubt is left as to your future from this point of time. What did Michael do when he stood up? He gathered and delivered God's elect to him. Daniel 12:2 "And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." This is the subject of what will happen to those who will die during that tribulation. Not those who have passed on prior to Satan's time on earth. It has a two-fold meaning. The first is in dealing with those of God's elect who did not follow the false teachers; who knew the truth and stood fast for Jesus Christ. Secondly, there will be shame that will come to those who sold out to Satan, and bowed to him as their Messiah. How do you think you would feel waking up some morning and finding out that the Christ you served and gave dedication to was the false Christ. What a shame that would be. Daniel 12:3 "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever." Those that "shine", or teach, and show the others to the truth will get riches and rewards far beyond what the human mind can comprehend now. Daniel 12:4 "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." To run "to and fro" means many will be apostatized and fall away from their faith in Jesus Christ. In Job 1 we can see it's Satan who runs to and fro. It will easy to fall for Satan's lies, but God's Word is the only place that we will be able to get the truth. Daniel 12:5 "Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river." Daniel is still standing on "the bank of the Hid-de-kel" where we saw him in Daniel 10:4, which is the River Tigris in Iraq of today. This is where the major conflicts of today are going on, and where your focus of current events should be. We must be aware that the types of the Antichrist come and go, and of the the signs of our time. Daniel 12:6 "And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?" We have an angel on each side, with the angel of God in the middle. The question asked is, how long to the end of time? In other words, how long will the Antichrist be allowed to continue? Daniel 12:7" And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished." A supernatural, divine being is responding to Daniel's question as to the period of time God will allow Satan to deceive the world. The angel of God gave the time of three and one-half years to allow the Antichrist to scatter the church on earth. Why will they be scatters? Because they are not mentally prepared. Most are Biblically illiterate and they have no desire to even try to understand. Figuratively speaking, they're like adults still sucking the bottle, and being diapered. Totally unnourished and untrained in the true meaning of God's word. God will allow this time to separate his elect from those just playing the game of church. Though Daniel is told that it would be three and one-half years; God shortened this time period to five (5) months, as Jesus explained to John in Revelation 9:5 and 10, for the protection of the elect. The building of the one world system was to be three and one-half years. However, we see it will fail prior to Satan's coming. It is out of this collapse that Satan will rebuild it. Daniel 12:8 "And I heard, but I understood not: the said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?" Daniel did not understand all that was revealed to him. Daniel 12:9 "And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end." The "time of the end" started in 1948 when Israel was established as a nation. The visions of Daniel are for you, only if you have "eyes to see" and "ears to hear". Daniel 12:10 "Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand." Through the teaching of God's elect, many will come to know the truth and stand, and believe, and know. All those with wicked hearts will look at the word of God as foolishness, and follow right after Satan. Daniel 12:11 "And from the time that the daily sacrifices shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, There shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days." The three and one-half years in days are God's time of testing. This would total seven (7) years to complete Daniel's 70 weeks of years. We know this to be shortened. Daniel 12:12 "Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days." "He that waiteth" are those persons that understand that our Lord Jesus Christ will not come prior to His appointed time, and His entire Word points to the fact that the Antichrist will have his time of deception first. For the sixth trumpet sounds the coming of the Antichrist, Satan, and all the fallen angels; and God Himself has given to Satan the authority to use his deception to deceive the entire world. Don't be taken out of season, and learn to wait, with patience, observing the signs of our times. Putting you hope in the demonic doctrine, such as the "rapture theory", will cause you to be taken by the wrong Christ.
