The word Exodus means "the way out", or "the going out". God led the children of Israel out of the bondage, and today this is an example as to how Jesus Christ will lead us out of the bondage of sin. The Egypt of today is the world system that is in control of the nations of the earth, and their methods will bring you into bondage to them, but when we follow the instructions and path that our Lord has shown us through His Word, there is always a way out. In this generation of the parable of the fig tree, Exodus was written to us to give us the knowledge as to how the events of our day will come to pass.

As you start with this chapter fifteen of Exodus, try to feel the expression through this song of Moses and Miriam, of being released from the bondage that they had been under for so many years. It was God Himself that cause the Pharaoh to release the children of Israel, and they at the end, hardened Pharaoh's heart to where he brought his army in pursuit of the Israelites, and to the place to where God put a final end to these enemies of His People. The Children of Israel did not have an army or weapons, for God was their protection, and He let them to the point at the sea shore of the Red sea. When Pharaoh was bearing down on them, God opened the sea, and they passed through five abreast, and when Pharaoh's army came in pursuit, God closed the path through the waters and drowned the entire army.

God redeemed His People from their bondage, so keep in mind that this song that we are opening with, gives God the praise and honor and glory for His deliverance. Though the song starts in the fourth verse, it is preceded and followed by praise with introduction and conclusion.

This is the first mention of a song and singing dealing with the children of Israel, for there was no sinning while in captivity in Egypt, only sighing and groaning [Exodus 2:23, 24]. This is a sister song to the "Song of Moses" as mentioned in Revelation 15:3; and the full text given in Deuteronomy 32:1-43. Every Christians living in these latter times is suppose to know this song. We are told in Revelation 15:3, that this is the song that those that overcame will be singing at our Lord's return at the seventh trumpet. It is the instruction that God is giving us to have victory to overcome the mark of the beast, which is the deception that Satan will bring with a flood of lies that will cover the earth when the sixth trump sounds.

The Song of Moses tells us the actual events as they are taking place right before our eyes. When we are sealed in our minds of those events, they will keep us out of the bondage of Satan's kingdom that the people of this world age generation will become. When you don't know the events of the end times, there is a degree of fear that comes with it. However, once God has revealed those events, it takes away the fear that and gives a peace of mind, and allows you to play around those deceptions to give you a way out.

Exodus 15:1 "Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, "I will sing unto the Lord, for He hath triumphed gloriously: The horse and his rider hath He thrown into the sea."

This song is about "redemption", and our true redeemer is our Lord Jesus Christ. Moses was only a type of the coming Christ. This of course is not the start of the song, but it starts in the fourth verse, but this is the introduction to the song of Moses and Miriam.

Exodus 15:2 "The Lord is my strength and son, And He is become my salvation: He is my God, and I will prepare Him an habitation; My father's God, and I will exalt Him."

"The Lord", is "YHVH" in the Massorah text manuscripts, "YAH" the Eternal, inhabiting eternity. The title of this song here connects "The Lord" in this song with redemption. "He is become my Salvation; He is my God," Our Lord "YHVH" is become my Salvation. The Salvation came form the one True God, and not the river Nile, some stone god, a fish, or any other thing that was created by the hand of God or man. Do you actually realize that the one that you pray to in heaven, YHVH is the true God? That makes you a child of God, when by faith you believe upon Him.

"I will prepare Him an habitation", is better translated; "I will build Him a place in my heart and mind for YHVH the true God to inhabit." You prepare a place in your mind to where His Spirit can give you comfort and lead you in your path of righteousness. This is to say that after the crucifixion of Messiah, Jesus the Christ, His Spirit can have that habitation in your heart. However before that day of the crucifixion and here in the wilderness, Moses will be building YHVH at tent or tabernacle. Over four centuries later, King Solomon will build Him a Temple of stone in Jerusalem. But the Millennium Temple will be the last temple to be built, and its construction will come after the seventh trumpet has sounded, and this earth of man in his flesh body is over and done with. However our Heavenly Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ should always have a place, "an habitation" in our heart and mind to make Him welcome. He should be the center of our conscience mind, leading and guiding; the center around which all of our words and actions take place.

Exodus 15:3 "The Lord is a man of war: The Lord is His name."

Just like we have seen in the prior fourteen chapters of Exodus, our Heavenly Father is jealous of His children, and when we love and respect Him and His Word, He protects us and blesses us in our lives. His promises of protection and love to Moses and the children of Israel is just as sure today as it was to them as we read of them back in the wilderness. When you are in His Will, your enemies are His, and we just read of what God did to the Israelite's enemy, Pharaoh's army. While the Children of Israel stood safe on the far shoreline, Pharaoh's army and their weapons were washing up on that same shoreline of the Red sea. Love even stretches into combat, for even in the hardness of war, love will protect its own people and country.

"The Lord is a man of war: The Lord is His name." God told us his name back in Exodus 3:14 "I AM THAT I AM"; " `ehyeh `asher `ehyeh" [I will be what I will be, or become at any time]. We saw the side of our Lord when he brought the plagues down on Egypt, yet the love of God, as He protected His own through the entire ordeal. Pharaoh had to learn the hard way, that to do battle with God you don't win, for the creator has the forces of the entire universe to use against His enemies. Our Heavenly Father is so gentle towards those He loves that He parted the Red sea, and allowed His children to cross over to the other side on dry ground. Then after God held held the enemies chariots back in the mud He created, the water were brought back to claim their lives.

God is at war against those that try to put His children, all of His children of every generation in bondage. Today so many Christians feel that they must fear God in these end times, when God's tribulation is not against His people; but those that would do harm to His children. The idea of escaping from God wrath is not of God, but from the imaginations of man's minds. Their fly away theory, is build completely from their mistrust of God, and the idea that God cannot be trusted to protect His own. The entire rapture doctrine can only be believed when you discard the instructions that God has given us from His entire Word. If you are in God's Will and repented of your sins and placed them under the blood of Christ, God is not mad at you, and there is nothing to run from. We serve a loving God. God's war is only against Satan and his followers, the enemies of our people.

Exodus 15:4 "Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath He cast into the sea: His chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea."

The song starts with this verse. Just as God drowned those chariots and horses in the Red sea, Pharaoh's chosen and best captains were also kill when God brought that wall of water down upon them. God is a man of war, and God lead Pharaoh right into the place where they would be crushed.

Ezekiel 38:21 - 23 tells us of another battle that shall take place in our generation, when our Lord will defend His people, as the armies of Russia and her allied forces come against us at the battle of Hamon-gog. "And I will call for a sword against him throughout all My mountains, saith the Lord God: every man's sword shall be against his brother."

Ezekiel 38:22 "And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone."

The overflowing rain that took Pharaoh's army was the Red sea, but the blood and pestilence and all the other plagues took place back in Egypt, when God said, "I am the Lord thy God, let My people go." This battle of Hamon-gog will usher us right into the Millennium age, and end all flesh as we know it, for it will be just prior to the seventh trumpet, and mark the end of mankind in their incorruptible, flesh and blood bodies. These stories of the Passover, and the travels in the wilderness are given to us by God to allow you and I living in this final generation an example of what we can expect. The end result of what happens will be exactly as God's Word states.

Exodus 15:5 "The depths have covered them: Thy sank into the bottom as a stone."

The word "stone" in Hebrew is "tyre", and that is one of Satan's names. Sure he is a rock, but he is not our Rock. So this verse calls our attention to the flood of lies that Satan, the stone, the prince of tyre will bring on the earth. God is using this song as an object lesson for us living in this final generation.

Exodus 15:6 "Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power: Thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy."

Stop and think for a moment; Who sits at the right hand of God the Father? God's right hand is Jesus Christ Himself. Peter reminded us in Acts 2 34, 35; "For David is not ascended into the heavens; but he saith himself, "The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit Thou on My right hand, Until I make Thy foes Thy footstool.' " Jesus Christ our Messiah is on the right hand of Father God as our intercessor, our advocate, until He returns as "the King of King and Lord of Lords". It was God's strong right hand that moved on the waters in the beginning, and formed this earth as it is. Our only way to the Father is by and through the One that our heavenly Father to this earth in the flesh, to provide that way through the shed blood on the cross of Christ. Jesus Christ is the Anointed one, the only Savior for those that come to YHVH God.

Exodus 15:7 "And in the greatness of Thine Excellency Thou hast over thrown them that rose up against Thee: Thou sentest forth Thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble."

Our Heavenly Father is a consuming fire, and it is pointed out here, "Thou hast over throne them that rose up against Thee." God's wrath is against His enemies, and when you are under the shed blood of Christ in repentance, you are not God's enemy. This is looking forward here to the time when Satan and all those that chose to follow him, will be consumed and turned to ashes, and stubble, but that time comes at the end of the Millennium age, and the great white throne Judgment. "In the greatness of Thine excellency Thou hast over thrown them that rose up against Thee:" God isn't out to zap some-body, but he will, to those that chose to turn away from Him.

Exodus 15:8 "And with the blast of Thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, The floods stood upright as an heap, And the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea."

"The Ruach", the very breath of God, which is His Spirit stood the waters of the Red sea upright, to where the waters were "congealed", or made solid as ice in an upright position, allowing God's children to pass through. This "congealed" # 7087 is used only once in the entire Bible. "Qatseh; comes from 7066, Qatsah, the prime, a bowl to make hollow; (like to curdle milk), or frozen water." The flood of lies and deception that the world is starting to poor out upon you and I in our generation will still stand up and flow away from you, just like the waters of the Red sea held back for Moses and the children of Israel. That flood of the end time is coming and it will cover the entire earth.

Revelation 12:15 "And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood."

That is what this flood is, lies and deception. Many times the media has misled the population to follow their agenda, on a course away from God and our Lord Jesus Christ. Though the one world system that now exists will cover over the truth: The Kenites do this so that the course of their agenda is better served. Very shortly Satan will be arriving here on earth with all his supernatural powers and his army of fallen angels, and the serpent Satan will try to wash away any one that stands in his way. So with all the evil that is in the world, and all the deception that shall come very shortly; when you have the knowledge of God's Word in your mind; and His Spirit in your heart and soul, you and only you control that area around you. God will give you spiritual discernment to see lies for what they are, and know the truth when it takes place before your eyes.

You know what God expects of you from His Word, and you don't give space to anyone that is an enemy of our people. The only way you will not be swept away in Satan's flood of lies is when you have the spiritual eyes to see and the spiritual ears to hear the truth with understanding. God has a plan for you while you are living in these end time, and that purpose is that each of His elect will allow the Holy Spirit to speak through them, as it is written of in Mark 13:9 - 11. God is with you continually, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Exodus 15:9 "The enemy said, `I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.' "

Our Heavenly Father is our Redeemer, and not our enemy. The reason for this earth age of flesh man, is for God to redeem His children that fall away from Him in that first earth age. So in this verse nine, pay attention, for it is the enemy that said this: "I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil;" There are six I's and My's in this verse, and that is Satan's number in biblical numerics. It is the enemy speaking here, and he is telling us exactly how he will overtake those without spiritual discernment.

This is Satan's method of destroying; First to pursue, and overtake you at your weakness. Then he will take those positive things in your life that God has blessed you with, and turn them to his use; The same lust and satisfaction that he seeks, he will draw you into so you have the same mindset that Satan has. These are the ways of the world today. Then he will draw his sword, which is done with word's, lies, ideas, and deception, and destroy your with those false doctrines and teachings of traditions.

This is the exact way that Satan will try to overtake you, only it doesn't matter what he say, when you are in the had of God, the only thing that he can do is stand his distance. Remember Satan has but five months during this time of deception on earth, and you know exactly what he will do. There should be no surprises, when you know the Word, and not all mixed up in fairy-tales of fly-away doctrine. It just doesn't matter what Satan and his kids do. Remember that God is in charge of everything that happens, and Satan can only do harm to those without the seal of God in their foreheads, or minds. If you have faith in God and love him, God is not your enemy. God will not allow Satan to overstep his authority and power limits that have been placed upon him. Just one breath of God's Spirit on Satan and all his realm, and they vanish away. Why would you ever be afraid when you are a child of God? But remember that all souls are children of God.

Exodus 15:10 "Thou didst blow with Thy wind, the sea covered them: The sank as lead in the mighty waters."

When God brought those waters back together, and Pharaoh's army was in the middle, there wasn't a chance that even one soul would survive the wiles of those flood waters. This is an example for you and I living today, and we ought to be so thankful for the protective winds of the Holy Spirit that blow evil out of our lives. Friend, the enemies of God haven't got one chance of coming out ahead, short of turning their lives over to Christ in repentance, and coming under the shed blood sacrificed for the sins of those that come to Him.

Exodus 15:11 "Who is like unto Thee, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like Thee, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praise, doing wonders?"

Notice that this is talking about man's gods, those created at the hand or in the mind of flesh man. Of course there are none. At the voice of God, this entire universe was created, the heavenly bodies in the heavens, and the fish and live under the sea. God spoke the word and our souls came into existence, including that of Satan, not a god, but a created soul.

Ezekieil 28:14, 15 "Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of god; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire." [14] "Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee." [15]

Satan was created for one purpose, and that was to be a cherub that protected the mercy seat of God. This cherub couldn't even be trusted to stand his post and do his duty in the high post he was in, so why would would you believe anything that this little created soul has to say. He is nothing but a liar and a cheat, and the moment that you listen to anything that he has to say, you will be take by his supernatural powers. Remember that he is not of the flesh realm, and that is why you are not to even reason with this enemy.

As long as you stay within God's parameters that our Father has set for us through His Word, Satan can't come near you. That authority is only in the name of Jesus Christ, and if you try to use any other authority you will fall. God has given you authority over Satan, but you must exercise that authority and over Satan and evil spirits out of your life, family, and property. Have you tried to use that power yet? Anoint your home, family, and self with olive oil, in the name of Jesus; and tell Satan and his evil spirits to leave you alone.

Exodus 15:12 "Thou stretchedst out Thy right hand, The earth swallowed them."

"Earth", as used here is "eh-rets", and it means the earth at large, all of the creation taking part in what is taking place. When God stretches His right hand over the universe, He will use the things of His creation to swallow the enemy. Here in Moses' day, it was the water from the Red sea, but we saw about that he will use fire and brimstone from the heaven, hail, and all sorts of things at His beckoning.

Exodus 15:13 "Thou in Thy mercy hast led forth the People which Thou hast redeemed: Thou hast guided them in Thy strength unto Thy holy habitation."

God has gently led and guided them across Egypt, to that graze land at the side of the Red sea, and when Pharaoh came, God opened the sea that gave them a route of passage. God made a promise to Abraham four hundred and thirty years prior, and God is determined to lead and redeem the children of Israel, and fulfill that promise. God never just took them, but he gave them riches, animals, and kept them together in a family unit. God was out to set an example that we could look to for the building of our faith: What better way than to wipe out the enemy to the last man. What are you worried about when you are in the saving hand of our Lord Jesus Christ? God loves you, so love Him.

Exodus 13:14 "The People shall hear, and be afraid; Sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina."

"Palestina" means "the land of strangers. Who are these strangers? The are the strangers to God and his people. This is a warning to God people what shall happen if they take that shortcut into Canaan, the promise land.

Exodus 15:15 "Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; The mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; All the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away."

Applying this to the end times; "Edom" [Red] is the land of Rosh, or the today they are the Russian peoples. While "Moab" means "of your own father". This is in reference to your own relatives, father mother, sisters and so on. However Moab in the days of Abraham was one of Lot's sons, born by his own daughter. These are family members that are deceived and just don't know any better. Once Satan has arrived here on earth, his deceptions will draw all those without the seal of God in their minds [foreheads] into total defeat. They will become part of Satan's system and five months later, each of them will be defeated. Nobody can stand against the sword of God, for God can use the things of this universe to destroy anything that he so chooses.

Exodus 15:16 "Fear and dread shall fall upon them; By the greatness of Thine arm they shall be as still as a stone; Till Thy People pass over, O Lord, Till the People pass over, which Thou hast purchased."

God has redeemed and purchased His People by the blood of only Begotten Son, Jesus the Christ; the Anointed One. "Til Thy People Pass-over", "Passover" that is exactly what Jesus Christ has become to those sealed in their minds with the truth. How do you look at Passover, of course Passover today is what we call the Communion, and we are to take the Communion until Jesus returns at the seventh and last trump, to be taken with Him. Many will give up the Passover, while they are still in their human body, when Satan arrives to declare himself to be God, and many Christians will sell their souls out, and stop taking from the Bread and Wine of the Communion table then. Do you realize that you were redeemed and purchased by Christ's blood? Your salvation is there for you, bought and paid for with an awesome price that you could not make the payment, but it has been paid.

When Christ went to the cross, while in the tomb, I Peter 3:18-20 tells us that Jesus went all the way back to the beginning, to those souls that were in the abyss and preached to them, and offered them the same choice that you and I have. God has given each soul that He created the same opportunity to be redeemed and purchased, but it is up to each soul to choose for himself or herself. When Christ came to the earth in the flesh and offered Himself a sacrifice for one and all times. That sealed the death of Satan, to be carried out after the times of testing, and the great white throne Judgment of our heavenly Father. God has an overall plan within His Word, and the people in the days of Moses didn't understand that. We do know it today, because God has revealed that entire plan to His prophets and apostles, and it is written in His Word. God is fair to all people that live in every generation in these flesh bodies.

Exodus 15:17 "Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of Thine inheritance, In the place, O Lord, which Thou hast made for Thee to dwell in, In the Sanctuary, O Lord, which Thy hands have established."

God's most favorite place on the face of this earth is in Jerusalem, and that is where He shall return to set up Temple and live throughout eternity. It will be sons of the Levitical priesthood that shall build this Tabernacle during the time of Moses, and it will be carried with them until the Temple will be established many years later by King Solomon. That Temple is only a shadow to the time that we live in today, compared to the eternal temple that shall be established at the sounding of the seventh trumpet, and the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.

That eternal Temple is recorded in Revelation 21:21 - 24; "And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass."

Revelation 21:22 "And I saw no Temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the Temple of it."

Revelation 21:23 "And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."

Revelation 21:24 "And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it."

Do you understand that the Eternal Temple is our Heavenly Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. The give sufficient light for eternity. This is the Eternal Temple that we look forward to, when we are under the blood of the Lamb, Jesus the Christ.

Exodus 15:18 "The Lord shall reign for ever and ever."

This is just as we read in Revelation 21, for there is no end to God's eternal Temple or kingdom. There is only one King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and the day Jesus Christ rose from the dead, that eternal kingdom came into being. Jesus defeated death when He paid the price on the cross.

Hebrews 2:14 "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil."

When Jesus Christ rose from the dead, that kingdom of our Lord began. Sure we have kings on earth in the flesh, and Satan will even come playing the role of Christ, but there is only one King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, and He is Jesus Christ. God's sets kings up, and He takes them down to fit His plan, and we are all part of the kingdom of Christ.

Exodus 15:19 "For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the Lord brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea." [end of song]

See How simple the victory came? Pharaoh gave the orders for his army to walk, and ride into the sea, and God allowed the wind to cease and cover them over with the water. The army is ready to fight in one moment, and the next, they are stubble floating on the shoreline. The same path that the children of Israel took to safety, was the death route to God's children's enemies. The same tribulation that is a death trap to those that chose not to study His Word, is just another day to one of God's children staying on the path that God instructed us through His Word. The bridge is up one day for God's children to pass over safely to the other side, and the next it went into the waters, and drown all those that were on it.

God's Word and commandments are so simple, and all have to do is read and follow it. When we fall short, there is repentance under the blood of Christ, and we are put right back on that path. So why are people so anxious and in fear of this time coming on the world, when God has told us that He will protect us each step of the way. He tells you when the bridge will be up, and when it will be coming down. He tells us each step that we must take to safety, but you have to make those steps for yourself. It is an insult to God to say your fear that time of Satan system here on earth, for it shows that you just don't trust Him and the promises that He has given to each of us. That is why we read and study His Word, to prepare ourselves to know those times, seasons and events as they take place in this end generation. It will happen, so trust God, and enjoy the ride. He asks your help, in Mark 13:9-11, and He expects each of our to allow the Holy Spirit to work through each of us.

This was a beautiful song that had so much for us today: and it ends with this 19th verse. Sure this song was about the children of Israel escaping from Pharaoh, and the bondage that He had them in. Then in applying this to our end times, many Christians try to escape that time coming on the earth called the great tribulation, but if you are sealed in your mind with the truth, and under the blood of Christ, you have already escaped the time of Satan's deception. Satan's lies and supernatural acts will not be tempting to you in any manner. Friend, God is in control everywhere, and He gave Satan the authority to do what he will do, and God gave the order to Satan and his staff of fallen angels, "touch not my elect". God's not angry with you, and it simply doesn't matter where you are when the sixth trump is sounded. But you have to believe and act on God's Word as it was intended, and control your own mind, family and property that God has blessed you with.

Exodus 15:20 "And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances."

Miriam is the same Mary, the sister of Moses and God is telling us that she was a prophetess, a teacher. This tells us that she was a Levite woman. The women took a part in praising God for His protection of the children of Israel from Pharaoh and his army. They took their timbrels in hand and when dancing on the shore line. They were paying their respect to YHVH for their deliverance. Stop and think for a moment: here the two to three million Israelites stood on the sea shore, and watched as the Egyptian army was bearing down on them through that pass of water. Then as they were getting close, God lifted the hand of protection, and the water switched back and covered over that enemy. When it looked like it was impossible to escape, God made the difference; and just as He made the difference then, He will move today to give you protection from those problems that seem insurmountable.

Exodus 15:21 "And Miriam answered them, "Sing ye to the Lord, for He hath triumphed gloriously; The horse and his rider hath He throne into the sea."

This is the instruction from the Lord, through this prophetess Miriam. She is telling the ladies of Israel, "You can celebrate this, go takes care of the enemy, and he killed the horse and his rider in the sea." God takes care of the enemies of His people.

Exodus 15:22 "So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days into the wilderness, and found no water."

This will be the first miracle while in the wilderness, after they had traveled for three days in the desert, after the Red sea destroyed the Egyptian army. The wilderness of Shur was the wall of protection that protected the Egyptians from the Asian peoples. So they came to this place called Marah, which was a shelter from the wilderness.

Exodus 15:23 "And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the water of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah."

When these two million or more people of the children of Israel came to the watering hole at Marah, the water was to bitter to drink. The word Marah in the Hebrew tongue means bitterness.

Exodus 15:24 "And the People murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink?"

Notice that the people murmured against Moses. Moses is the man God chose to lead the people through the wilderness. No it wasn't Moses that they were focusing their complaints against, but God. When trouble come, the first thing that they did was murmur, complain. It is not good to get into the practice to complain when thing go wrong, but that's the time to seek God help, not belly ache to Him. Get into the habbit of relying of God for His help, and let Him know the things that are problems to you; then stand back and watch how God takes care of those things.

Exodus 15:25 "And he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: There He made for them a statute and a ordinance, and there He proved them,"

Moses took the problem to the Lord, and the Lord revealed to him a tree that would turn the bitterness of the water, and make it sweet. God used this bitter water to be a test for His people, to see what they would do. Just as God would test Moses and the Israelites in the wilderness, He will also test you in living in your daily life. When your day looks like nothing is going right, and the weight of the world is heavy on you, there is another tree that we use to correct the bitter waters of our lives. That tree is called the cross; and it turns the bitter waters in your life into a fountain of sweet waters of eternal life, whereby we will never thirst against when we partake of those waters. Christ paid the price on that tree, and when we turn to that cross, our Heavenly Father will make life sweet again.

Jesus is called the tree of life in Revelation 22:2; "In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."

So take the spiritual application to this verse. The thoughts from the manuscripts are hard to get the actual translation into English, that the medicine produced by the leaves of the tree, yielded fruit twelve times a year, one for each month, and each a different kind of manner of fruits. The point to this verse is that there is no way to be board or disgusted with yourself when you are taking this medicine. This is why during the entire never ending time in eternity, the eternal spiritual life will be such a blessing, whether in the first year, of untold centuries of years later. There is no ending to life in God's kingdom, and each day in that kingdom will be a bliss with Christ. God will see to it that you have purpose to life continually. This of course is an example of the going out, that when you find yourself in that bitter water of Marah, never forget to turn to that tree, the cross of Christ, to put sense of purpose and duty back into your life. It requires action on your part, that is sustained by your belief and confidence that God is able to keep His promises. But you must participate one day at a time, one step at a time walking down the path that is laid out completely in His Word. Nobody is going to make that walk for you; it is only you that can set the pace and direction for your life. That cross, that tree makes the bitter water sweet and bearable. The peace of mind that comes with that sweet water, gives you the ability to get through anything.

Exodus 15:26 "And said, "If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all the statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord That healeth thee."

God is speaking to Moses and telling him to tell the people, to tell God's people to diligently pay attention to the instruction that He has given us through His Word. The point is that we do those things which is right in His sight; not our sight or some church board, but according to His Word. God gave us His commandments, and statutes for our own good; can we? maybe not, but that is why we have repentance in the name of Jesus and under His shed blood, to bring us back in fellowship with our heavenly Father. Included in these laws of statutes are the health laws, and if you obey them you will be healthy. Sure we live in a polluted world today, but we are to try to keep all of God's laws, not for salvation, but for a better and healthier life while we are living on this earth in our flesh bodies. We can become sick from a confused mind, just as we can become sick from confusion in our eating habits. Later in the children of Israel's journey through the wilderness, God will give Moses the complete outline as to what we are to eat, and those things we are to stay away from. Our Heavenly Father is the Lord that healthy thee, both physically and spiritually.

Exodus 15:27 "And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and the encamped there by the waters."

The word "Elim" means "strong drink" and it was an oasis in the wilderness with twelve wells. Notice that God provided one well for each of the tribes to give them fresh water. Here we also have seventy palm trees for the tribes rest and find shade under. Seventy in biblical numerics is a perfect spiritual number, for it shows completeness, for it is seven times ten. Seventy is a number that is used throughout the Scriptures to show the perfection to doing the job that God intended to be done. And in not to distant of time, God instructed Moses to select seventy elders over the people of Israel. Through all the hard journey to this point, God saw the need for rest and restoring the people, and here God provided the perfect campsite for His people.

Mankind's scholars will try to explain away all spiritual thoughts that God uses to prepare us for the time ahead, and the eternity that we will be in, but one thing is for sure. God's Holy Spirit will open your mind to the truths that He intended for His elect to know, to prepare us for the time that we will be placed in to serve Him. When God gives us a mission to do, He will also give us the gifts and means to get that job done. Can you believe Divine intervention, for that is exactly what this was. God knew what was needed and provided what was necessary at the time.
