Exodus 33:1 "And the Lord said unto Moses, "Depart, and go up hence, thou and the People which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, `Unto thy seed will I give it:' "

Almighty God is still putting the blame on Moses, but He is also making a promise to Moses that He will keep his Word and honor the covenant that He made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Exodus 33:2 "And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and ther Perizzite, and Hivite, and the Jebusite:"

Think for a moment about this promise that God is making to Moses. Many of these six different nationed peoples were believed to be children from the second influx of the fallen angels, and they were thought to be the giants in the land that God promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. These six groups of people were still residing in the land, and God is telling Moses that when the time comes that the children of Israel are to enter into the land, God will remove them for them. "I will drive them out." Though the children of Israel believed that they were giants, in fact they were not giants. Four hundred years had passed from Abraham's day, and those giants had died off.

There are no giants in the land today for those pursuing an active ministry that God is leading over. God will go before us and clear the way for His Word to be brought forth.

Exodus 33:3 "Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked People: lest I consume thee in the way."

God was telling Moses here that He is not going to be amongst the children of Israel on their journey to the promise land, but he will send an angel to lead them. Our Heavenly Father was cautious that if these children of Israel did what they did before, He would wipe them all out; kill them right there in the wilderness. It is good to have our Heavenly Father on our side and in good standing with him; and these children of Israel are not in good standing with the Lord, after their orgy session with the golden calf, and Aaron's false religion.

Remember they bought in to that spiritual filth without any prompting. "Stiff-necked" is a term that comes from an animal that will not allow himself to be yoked. God called the children of Israel "stiff-necked" because these children of Israel would not obey Moses and God's instructions, and they could not be disciplined.

Exodus 33:4 "And when the People heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments."

When the people of the children of Israel heard what God said about them, they took off all their golden earrings, and ornaments they received from the Egyptians, and sobered up. They knew that God was mad at them.

Exodus 33:5 "For the Lord had said unto Moses, "Say unto the children of Israel, `Ye are a stiffnecked People: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.' "

The free golden jewelry from the Egyptians suddenly turned to junk and not so desirable, in that those trinkets are the very thing that may end their lives. They have displeased God to the point that He doesn't care if they live or not. Take a look at what people value today, and how they act when they wear their gold and silver, and do the things that they do. We are in the end times today, and God wants you focused on Him, not that glittery stuff you hang on your ears, and around your neck, and the rest of the merchandising of Satan's system. The jewelry and luxury things of this world might draw His attention as to what side you really are on. Satan's church will sit a queen in these land days, and lose sight of who she is.

Revelation 19:5, 6 "For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities." [5] "Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double." [6]

Revelation 19:7 "How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her; for she saith in her heart, `I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.' "

It's alright to love man and jewelry but do they take a closer spot in their heart and mind that our Lord. Any sign or anything on your being that would detour you, and take away from your complete respect for our Heavenly Father, especially when He is mad at you, is flerting with eternal death.

Exodus 33:6 "And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb."

Mount Horeb, is another name for Mount Sinai.

Exodus 33:7 "And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the Lord went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.

That would be easy to understand why Moses pitched the tabernacle tent outside the camp. Moses just told the children of Israel that God was mad at them, that He called them stiff-necked people and would like to get rid of them. Then Moses went to the tabernacle of God, and every one in the camp knew that things were not right. They saw and followed Moses to the tabernacle. It's time for repentance. This is typical of our own day today, those that seek God, must "go forth to Him", just as Moses did. God will not force Himself on any group of people, and the people just stood there.

When the church door is open, its time to be there. The point here is that it's what takes place within the walls of the house of God, that makes it a church. If God's Word is not taught there, then it is nothing but a Beth-aven, and house of emptiness. If some preacher is telling you that you don't have to understand parts of God's Word, that is not a house of God. Why would you listen to any man that is so ignorant that he knows more than God. If God warned you through His Word that Satan is coming first, and that we are to prepare for that sixth trump by sealing the truth of God's Word in our minds or we would be taken by Satan's beastly system. Then some man comes along and tells you that you will not be here, and today many Christians actually take the word of such a lie over God's Word. Some times it is hard to believe that people are that stupid that they even listen to such fairy tales that are being taught in church houses today.

We are living in the end times, and how could anybody living in these end times calling themselves a Christian, listen to any man telling them that you don't have to understand the book of Revelation, The books of the Old Testament dealing with our generation, and then take the fairy-tale babel that flows from their mouth. If you take the book of Revelation and read chapter one to that six year old child, and that child will understand what is being said. Even a child knows that it is talking about symbols. The church is a candlestick, and seven candlesticks stand for seven churches. And so on. Some of what is taught today in churches is even more hard to believe than what Aaron taught. "The spirit of God moved and the golden calf came out of the fire." That is what Aaron told Moses in Exodus 32:21 - 24; go back and read it: "And I said unto them, `Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off.' So they gave it to me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf." Aaron knew it to be a lie, and so do those preachers that go against the Word of God. The alarming thing is that people that call themselves Christians today stake their eternal souls on such lies and dogma that goes against the Word of God. There is nothing new under the sun, people like to play church.

Exodus 33:8 "And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the People rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle."

Exodus 33:9 "And it came to pass, when Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses."

After Moses talked with the people, he walked out of the camp and over to the tabernacle, and the people stood watching his every move. After he entered into the Tabernacle, the cloudy pillar of God descended on the tabernacle, and the Lord God came and spoke with Moses. The people had seen this cloudy pillar before and they knew that it was God in the tabernacle with Moses. Would this make a believe out of the people today, well it didn't this stiff-necked bunch. These people literally observed the presence of God in this pillar as He entering into the holy of holies.

Exodus 33:10 "And all the People saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the People rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door."

Remember the first commandments given us in Exodus 20:1-3 "And God spake all these words, saying, "I am the Lord thy God, Which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me."

Then the second; "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." As soon as Moses was out of their sight, here came the people to have Aaron form this golden calf.

So now once they saw this cloudy pillar of God, something that they could see coming into the tent, it became time for worship. People today are not different, they have to see something with their eyes to focus on God with their mind. But did they go to meet God? No they stayed at home in their tents.

Exodus 33:11 "And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend, And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Num, a young man departed not out of the tabernacle."

Joshua was there when the Lord visited Moses and talked with him, and he stayed right there in the tabernacle after Moses had departed. In the future when Moses was taken from the children of Israel, Joshua will be the one God chose to lead the people into the promise land. Joshua will also be one of the spies sent out to spy the land, and he came back with a good report. Did the people believe his report, no, they listened to the ten spies that came back with their lies.

Exodus 33:12 "And Moses said unto the Lord, "See Thou sayest unto me, `Bring up this People: and Thou hast not let me know whom Thou wilt send with me. Yet Thou hast said, `I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in My sight.' "

Moses is telling God, you keep telling me this same thing over and over God, but I don't see it. Do I really have grace in your sight?

Exodus 33:13 "Now therefore, I pray Thee, if I have found grace in Thy sight, shew me now Thy way, that I may know Thee, that I may find grace in Thy sight: and consider that this nation is Thy People."

When Moses came down off Mount Sinai and saw the filth that the people had accepted at the hands of Aaron, Moses lost it all in anger. Moses knew that the People had lost grace in the site of the Lord, and it seemed that every thing that Moses did went wrong. Moses is asking God to prove Himself to him, and show me to mine own eyes that I do have grace, and that these children of Israel are truly "Thy People". Sure God gave Moses the tablets of the law giving the ten commandments, but they were all busted up in pieces. God took the time to write them Himself with his own finger, and polish them to shine. And there they were in a heap in many pieces. So Moses wants to know what God is going to do about this.

Exodus 33:14 "And He said, "My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest."

God is talking to Moses here, not the rest of the children of Israel. No they will not find rest, but die off in the wilderness, every last one of them, except for Joshua and Caleb, and the rest of the youth born in the wilderness.

Exodus 33:15 "And he said unto Him, "If Thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence."

Moses is telling God, if you are not going to be with me, I don't want to go.

Exodus 33:16 "For wherein shall it be known here that I and Thy People have found grace in Thy sight? is it not in that Thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and Thy People, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth." "

God is being very good to Moses here, as He will be to Joshua also. He is promising Moses that He will take care of their enemies, but you have to be willing to follow Me.

Exodus 33:17 "And the Lord said unto Moses, "I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in My sight, and I know thee by name."

God is still not willing to let the people have the grace, but we will see that He will establish a new covenant with the people. The first covenant was broken when Moses came down off the mount, and there stood Aaron and the people with their clothes off, dancing and giving praise to that golden calf. Aaron and the people broke the covenant or contract by their violations of God's commandments. That Contract is given in Exodus 20:22 - 25. God will renew the covenant, but there will be added restrictions that will strengthen those that were already in existence.

Exodus 33:18 "And he said, "I beseech thee, shew me Thy glory."

Moses wanted to see God's glory with his own eyes. Moses had seen all the miracles from the burning bush at the very start, to all the plagues of Egypt, the parting of the Red sea, the water from the rock, and the manna and quail that God fed them with daily, yet Moses wanted one more glimpse at God's glory. Now that the people have proven that they can't be trusted, Moses has to know that God is with him, and can be counted upon in the future.

Exodus 33:19 "And He said, "I will make all My goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy."

This is a prophecy leading to the time of Christ; if you repent and love the Lord, God will love and show mercy; and those that are stiff-necked and will not follow the Lord and go their own way, He will not show mercy to. It is up to God who will have His mercy and who will not. If you think that you can mess around with His scriptures and play with the heathen traditions and doctrines that go against His Word, you will not find mercy with God. God can read your mind, and He knows your very thoughts. He knows if your love is true and genuine or a fake.

Exodus 33:20 "And He said, "Thou canst not see My face: for there shall no man see Me, and live."

So stop and ask yourself why no man can see God and live? Paul told you the reason in I Corinthians 15:50.

I Corinthians 15:50 "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption."

This is a mystery that had not been talked about prior to this time. "Flesh and blood" are "corruption", bodies that age and die: while "incorruption" are bodies as the angels have, that don't age, never get sick and have the ability to remember into that first earth age, and see the things of heaven completely. God is in the kingdom of heaven: heaven is where God and his children are after death of these physical flesh and blood bodies. God is in a different dimension than these flesh and blood corruptible bodies are in. There is no way for flesh man to view into that other dimension, and as long as your flesh heart is pumping that blood to your flesh body, you will stay and reside in this realm or dimension. We know you have to die to see Him, However Jesus told us that when you have seen the Son you have seen the Father also.

Exodus 33:21 "And the Lord said, "Behold, there is a place by Me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:"

Moses is about to get a peek into that other dimension of God heaven.

Exodus 33:22 "And it shall come to pass, while My glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with My hand while I pass by:"

So what Rock is this that God will cover or hid Moses in? That Rock that we stand on is Jesus the Christ, that came in the flesh, died on the cross, and was in the tomb for three days. He came out of the tomb and ascended on the fortieth day into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father. If you are in Christ, you are standing on that Rock even to this day, in these end times. That Rock is Jesus Christ. It is on Jesus Christ, the church of God is built, and that Rock and church will withstand any weather that comes against it. Jesus Christ is our foundation to happiness, and to eternal life. If you are standing on the Rock, then you must make a stand for the Rock. Are you standing on that Rock.

Exodus 33:23 "And I will take away Mine hand, and thou shalt see My back parts: but My face shall not be seen."

Take a look at John 14:9-14, that moment when Jesus came in contact with Philip after the resurrection.

John 14:8 "Philip saith unto Him, "Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us."

John 14:9 "Jesus saith unto him, "Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known Me, Philip? he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, `Shew us the Father' "

John 14:10 "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of Myself: but the Father That dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works."

John 14:11 "Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me: or else believe Me for the very works' sake."

Are you starting to get the picture, there are not three God's in the Godhead, but one God, we have one God in three offices. When you see the Jesus you see the Father, when you hear Jesus' Words, you have heard Father's Words.

John 14:12 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father."

When Jesus went back into Heaven, the work that had to be done, is to be done by His followers, and that is why the Word is so important for that is How you and I receive our instructions from God. Sure the Holy Spirit came to be our Comforter, and open our minds to the truths of His Word, but you still have to study the Word and ask Him to open your mind to that truth.

John 14:13 "And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in My name, I will do it.

You do the asking and God will hear your prayer and do what you shall ask to fulfill your need. Why, that Father may be glorified in the Son. Is your prayers for your glorification or Fathers? So how do you prove your love for Jesus and the Father? By keeping the commandments of God.

John 14:14 "If you love Me, keep My commandments."

Mankind was made in the image of God, and place on this earth for a very short time. God told his children that "let's make this flesh man just like we look." This is why when you have seen Jesus in the flesh you have seen the Father. Jesus told you, "When you have seen Me, you have seen the Father." The God the Father was in this dimension, in the flesh, He is the Word that became flesh and dwelt amongst us. Jesus was born of flesh woman, from the womb just as you and I came into this world age. Jesus Christ is the "Only Begotten Son of God".

So as we see from this, no matter what tribe or nation you belong to, man in his flesh and blood body is a stranger here on this earth. Your life is but a vapor and you are just passing through this earth age. This world age is not our home, but earth itself will be our eternal home, as we read in Revelation 21, where the new heaven comes down on this earth, and it is here where we will spend eternity with our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. Remember we are speaking of two different realms, the physical of these flesh and blood bodies: And the spiritual, where God and His angels, and all those that have passed through this earth age in their flesh bodies and died are. We will be in this realm until God calls us home to Himself. It is sin to make this time shortened by your own hand.

God placed your vapor of live called your soul into your physical body at conception, within your mother's womb, and He as a business and purpose for you while you are living in your flesh body. We are to allow God to do the leading in our lives, and we are to be obedient to His instruction, that come only by and through His Word, and the opening of our minds to it by the Holy Spirit of God. God gave Moses a glimpse into the future at the Rock, our Lord Jesus Christ.
