Exodus 8:1 "And the Lord spake unto Moses, "Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, `Thus saith the Lord, `Let My People go, that they may serve Me.' "

We are entering the time of the second plague here, and the purpose of these plagues are for Pharaoh to release the Children of Israel, so they may return to the promise land and serve the Lord our God. He wants our generation to serve Him, just as God wanted Moses generation to respect and serve Him in their worship. We see that the children of Israel are not free, but are you free to worship and serve the Lord?

Exodus 8:2 "And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:"

The Egyptians had worshipped frog gods as their gods of fecundity, or fertility and growth. So how could the plague apply to our generation, and the prophecies of the book of Revelation. Frogs are part of the plagues; "that the sixth angel poured out of his vial onto the earth, on to the river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared." [16:12]

Revelation 16:13 "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet."

The dragon is the old serpent, which is other names for Satan. The beast is the political system, while the false prophet is the world religious system. The frogs are symbolic of lying demonic spirits.

Revelation 16:14 "For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty."

Frogs in the end times are symbols for the spirits of devils or demons. The lies that come from the three, the false christ, Satan, and his political and religious systems that lead to the control of his one world government. In the end that system will prepare themselves and the people of the world to do battle; and that battle is referred to as the "battle of Armageddon". This battle will mark the end of the seventh dispensation, and it will bring in the new Millennium age of Christ's kingdom right here on earth.

Just as the frogs are being used here as a plague to free God's people from their bondage, so the frogs or evil spirits are going to be used to mark the end of this earth age of flesh man.

Revelation 16:15, 16 "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." "And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon."

Stop and think for a moment of those Christians that think that they are biblically literate. When Satan and his fallen angels and these frog demons are released on the earth, in ignorance all the people will be taken in by these frog spirits of Satan. They think that they are in service to the true God as they work for Satan, but at the return of Jesus Christ, they will see the shame that they have caused for themselves, by following these frog spirits into Satan's camp.

Exodus 8:3 "And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon their bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:"

These frogs are going to invade everywhere in Egypt; from the king's palace to the dough of your biscuits in the people's kitchens. Remember that frogs are symbolic of "lying spirits". These lying spirits will completely saturate the entire earth, and no one will escape their damage, for they will enter right into your homes and bedchambers. It is common today to blame false teachings off on some preacher or the church; but the teaching of Christ should begin at home and in the family. But when that attachment is broken and there is no basic biblical teaching from the youth, then these frog spirits will come in and and we see and read of this from the press. If you leave Christ out of your life, and discard His instruction to you from the entire Word of God, Satan will fill that gap with his frogs of evil spirits. People today are ignorant of the plan of God, and those things that have been prophesied for our generation. They give more respect to these frog spirits than they give to our Holy Spirit of God.

Exodus 8:4 "And the frogs shall come up both on the, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.' "

It is going to happen, those frog demonic spirits will saturate the entire world, just as Egypt is the type for the world system in these end times.

Exodus 8:5 "And the Lord spake unto Moses, "Say unto Aaron, `Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.' "

This order is from Almighty God, for He is the one that shall cause this to happen. It is in his Word, and God's Word will be fulfilled.

Exodus 8:6 "And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt."

When Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters, out came the frogs, and they covered the land completely. That is exactly how it shall be when Satan arrives on earth at the sixth trump, at the sixth seal, and that vial of demonic spirits are released upon all the land of the Egypt or Babylon of these end times. You will be sealed with the truth before they come, and be prepared for them and their lying tongues, or you will be take by them.

Exodus 8:7 "And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt."

Of course there were so many around that it would be difficult to know if they were of God or Satan, but these magicians claim to have that supernatural power to do those things that God can do. Remember that Satan and his angels will be supernatural, and not of flesh and blood bodies. The point here is that Satan will make his stand, and he doesn't give up easily.

Exodus 8:8 "Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, "Intreat the Lord, that He may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the People go, that they may do sacrifice unto the Lord."

Moses and Aaron knew when Pharaoh promised that He would let God's people go out of Egypt that he would not keep his word. God told Moses and Aaron ahead of time that He would harden Pharaoh's heart until all the plagues were done. Pharaoh is a type of Satan, and could Satan be trusted in his word? Of course not, nor can Pharaoh be trusted.

Exodus 8:9 "And Moses said unto Pharaoh, "Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?"

Moses asked Pharaoh, "When should I do this and take the people away?"

Exodus 8:10 "And he said, "To morrow." And he said, "Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the Lord our God."

Pharaoh made a promise and set a date for the release to be the next day. So Moses is telling him that there is no other like the YHVH, Lord our God. So Moses committed to the removal of the frogs, but do you think that Pharaoh, the type of Satan, will keep his word?

Exodus 8:11 "And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only."

This is Moses word to Pharaoh, the frogs are leaving tomorrow.

Exodus 8:12 "And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the Lord because of the frogs which He had brought against Pharaoh."

When Moses cried out to the Lord, God heard Moses and respected his Word.

Exodus 8:13 "And the Lord did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields."

Remember that Moses was only saying what God wanted him to say, and repeating the words God told him to say. And the frogs departed immediately, and they died in the masses everywhere, and all Egypt stunk.

Exodus 8:14 "And they gathered them together upon heaps: and the land stank."

It's a hot day in the desert, and the people worked to pile those dead stinking frogs into piles to be destroyed. It is like taking the lying spirits of today, and if you gathered them up into one big pile, think of the stink that would cause. If this analogy for the end times was using human flesh, what a stink that would make, but we are talking about the spiritual souls, and fallen angels for the end times.

Exodus 8:15 "But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said."

When Pharaoh saw there was breathing space, and relief from the presence of the frogs, and that the climax was over, he changed his mind about letting the children of Israel go. Of course he created a little story in his mind that would take away from the fact that God sent these frogs, and this would make it easier to go against what the Lord had said. How can you reason with a twisted mind such as the Pharaoh had. God saw what Pharaoh was doing in not keeping his commitment to the Lord, and Pharaoh was about to enter into a time of scratching; for God is going to send an army of lice upon the land of Egypt.

Exodus 8:16 "And the Lord said unto Moses, "Say unto Aaron, `Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.'"

The Egyptian word for lice also included mosquito-gnats. With all the dead putrefied flesh of the dying frogs everywhere, this more than likely is mosquito-gnats, along with lice. The point here is that God is going to bring trouble to Pharaoh who would not obey God.

Exodus 8:17 "And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt."

The first thing that we notice here is that God did not warn Pharaoh ahead of time, he just took the action because Pharaoh went back on his word.

Exodus 8:18 "And the magicians did so with their enchantments to being forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast."

The magicians tried to copy this plague also, but they couldn't.

Exodus 8:19 "Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God:" And Pharaoh's hear was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said."

These magicians or advisors to Pharaoh knew where this plague came from and they warned Pharaoh that God has put His finger on you. Even though Pharaoh's mind was closed to the truth, his magicians knew that God's power was messing over them with these plagues. Pharaoh did not even listen to his own advisors. These magicians have figured out by now that God is doing these plagues to free His people.

Exodus 8:20 "And the Lord said unto Moses, "Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, `Thus saith the Lord, `Let My People go, that they may serve Me."

Again the purpose of all the plagues that are being done, is to free God's people that they may serve Him.

Exodus 8:21 "Else, if thou wilt not let My People go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are."

With all the dead frogs, and other creatures lying around, as well as these other flying insects, here come the flies. Swarms of flies everywhere covering the walls of the homes inside and out, and the ground that the people walked on. So this also is a warning to us living in these end times.

When the Pharisees saw Jesus healing people and casting out devils from blind and dumb man, they accused him of being from Satan and using the powers of Satan to work these miracles. Matthew 12:24 "But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, "This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils." The "devils" spoken of here are "demons" "Beelzebub" in the Greek bible dictionary is # 954; "From the Chaldee; the dung-god; [lord of the flies; another name for Satan." the Pharisees knew that they were calling Jesus' acts as being from Satan.

So this should draw our attention to the stench and filth of Satan's operation here on earth. God is using physical things like the filth that brings these masses of flies to cover the earth, to represent exactly what it will be like when Satan and his fallen angels and these demons come to earth. They will bring their lies and deceit, mixed with their supernatural wonders that they will present for mankind to get into all the homes and minds of the people living in their flesh bodies. All that is except for God's elect, those sealed with the truth in their minds before they arrive.

Again, each of these plagues are ensamples of those things that we shall witness in our generation. The point is to be able to relate to the message that it is sending to our generation. Jesus warned us in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, concerning these plagues that shall come on the earth before His coming. The first warning from Christ was; "Take heed that no man shall deceive you:" It is up to you to get into God's Word and learn for yourself the truths. There will be no one that will stand with you before the throne of God on judgment day.

Exodus 8:22 "And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which My People dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the Lord in the midst of the earth."

God is now going to give us a clue that this is a type of our going out of Satan's captivity in these end times. He has sent the snakes, the frogs, lice, the flies and these creatures have filled the land of Egypt. God allowed us to see that he was using these plagues to apply to our generation in the seventh chapter, when the rod that Aaron threw down was turned into not just a snake, but a sea monster, an expression for Satan from the book of Revelation.

The land of Goshen, was the land that the Israelite people lived, and it was separated from the area where the Pharaoh lived. God is showing us through his control of these swarms of flies that he can protect His own people. Flies do not have and use a mind of their own, but swarm where there is food for them to eat. God's Spirit was there to keep the flies away from the land of His people. It is obvious that God is setting the border, when these huge swarms come to the edge of Goshen, and do not enter into that land. Even Pharaoh's magicians can see when God has his finger on the events that are happening.

Exodus 8:23 "And I will put a division between My People and thy people: tomorrow shall this sign be.' "

God was not trying to convert Pharaoh, but God put the spirit of hard heartedness on his mind. God wanted the people of Egypt to know that there wasn't a fish god, a dog or cat god, but only one True God, YHVH. The word "division" as used here is "padah", which mean "redemption". God will set the limits as to who is of God, and who is of the devil. He will make the division between His people and those willing to give themselves over to Satan, by their own ignorance. Christ is the one that redeemed our minds and souls, and that redemption is with each of his children every moment of the day. Then if you get off that path or way that Christ has set for us, simply by your repentance, and telling Him that you love Him, He will put you back under that protection.

Exodus 8:24 "And the Lord did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies."

The Lord kept his Word. The land of Egypt was laid waste by reason to the swarms of flies.

Exodus 8:25 "And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, "Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land."

Moses didn't come for Pharaoh, but Pharaoh couldn't wait to beg Moses to get those flies out of my land. Pharaoh is starting to understand that the cause of his troubles are from the God of Moses. However this verse has been corrupted from the true text. Pharaoh is telling Moses that the children of Israel are free to "sacrifice in my land". The Kenite scribes put a little twist to their translation of this verse, and it changed the meaning of the verse. Again, Pharaoh is not letting them leave the land, but they must do their worshipping here in Egypt. Pharaoh knew that once they start down the road to sacrifice, they are not coming back. Remember that the Egyptians considered these animals that the Israelites wanted to sacrifice, to be gods. If they stayed in Egypt and did their sacrificing, the Egyptians would stone them as they worshipped.

Exodus 8:26 "And Moses said, "It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the Lord our God; lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us? "

Moses let Pharaoh know that the animals the Egyptians worship we call an abomination, and we are going to sacrifice them to the living God. Moses knew exactly what would happen if they started to sacrifice lambs and goats to God. It would start a civil war right there in Egypt, and Moses knew that they would be stoned before even the first animal was sacrificed. We will be burning their gods before their eyes.

Exodus 8:27 "We will go three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the Lord our God, as He shall command us."

Moses is letting Pharaoh know that the children of Israel will follow God's orders and not Pharaoh's.

Exodus 8:28 "And Pharaoh said, "I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away: intreat for me."

Pharaoh is telling Moses, you go to God and have him pull these flies off of my land, and I will allow you to go a little ways into the wilderness.

Exodus 8:29 "And Moses said, "Behold, I go out from thee, and I will intreat the Lord that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, tomorrow: but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the People go to sacrifice to the Lord."

Moses let Pharaoh know that tomorrow he would go to the Lord to have the flies removed; but Moses also warned Pharaoh that he had better not deal deceitfully any more with him on this matter of allowing the people to go sacrificing.

Exodus 8:30 "And Moses went out from Pharaoh, and intreated the Lord."

Though Moses felt so unworthy at the beginning of his commission, by this time, Moses knew that God was willing to back up every word that he spoke. When you are commissioned to do a mission for our Lord, have you ever felt that you were not qualified to do that job? This is common, but when we remember that God gives us the gifts to fulfill whatever duty He has for us to do.

Exodus 8:31 "And the Lord did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one."

Notice that when God removed that plague of these flies from Egypt, there was not one fly that remained.

Exodus 8:32 "And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the People go."

The flies are gone, and Pharaoh is up to his old tricks again, fixing his mind to keep the children of Israel captive. Though this seems like a negative part of God's plan, and it appears that poor judgment is being used in keeping Pharaoh's mind fixed through all these hardships. But keep in mind that God wanted not just Pharaoh, but all the Egyptians to know that YHVH, the children of Israel's God is the one True God. Not some fish or frog, or some beast of any type, or the river Nile, but God, the I AM THAT I AM, the creator of all life is God.
