Now what is Ezekiel to do with this book that is
given, that is complete both within and without?
Ezekiel 3:1 "Moreover He said unto me, "Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel." This roll, or scroll is the truth of God's Word, so how do you eat it? God gives the credit that we can understand an analogy. To eat it is to consume it, and when you consume information it is consumed into your mind, and not into your stomach. When it is consumed into your mind, then you have the ability to teach God's Word. You then have the ability to discern between the truths written in God's Word, and the quarterlies, and fairy tales of man, called "tradition". Don't rely on any part of traditional material, unless you check it out in the Word of God. Ezekiel 3:2 "So I opened my mouth, and He caused me to eat that roll." God caused Ezekiel to read and understand that information. Ezekiel 3:3 "And He said unto me, "Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee." God told Ezekiel to fill his mind to saturate you entire soul, and that means your inner man. Ezekiel took it and read it and meditated on it, and he came to understand exactly what those words meant. In the mouth the words can be very sweet, and when it reaches the mind of understanding, those words can be very bitter. The bitterness is only for those who do not follow Him. Ezekiel 3:4 "And He said unto me, "Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with My words unto them." After Ezekiel had the knowledge in his mind, then God told him to the House of Israel, and give them God's Word. However before Ezekiel could do this, he had to know exactly where all the tribes of Israel were. this message was to be given to both houses, that of Judah, and the ten tribes that had been scattered hundreds of years prior to this meeting between God and Ezekiel. If this is a mystery to you, and you think that the whole house of Israel is wrapped up in the tiny nation of what we call Israel today, then you must really have a problem with the defense of God's word and His promises. the migration of these ten tribes is well know in secular history, and strange to the so-called Christian world. On the whole, they call themselves "Caucasians", and they think it is a race, yet it is not, but the record of an event that happened over twenty five hundred years ago. It was then that these ten tribes sprang forth, through the Caucasus mountains, then migrated in bands or tribes to the north and to the west. They had many names, such as Celts, Guls, Cimmerons, Brits, Sakka, and so on, but they all were known by one word. They were all called "Caucasians". You may have forgotten the history of your forefathers, but you still are branded with identity to those ten tribes of the old nation of the "House of Israel". The Book of Hosea was written to these people of the House of Israel [all ten tribes]. Hosea told them that they would be divorced by God, and scattered, and then in Hosea 1:10 he tells us how they would be identified in the last days, for the book of Hosea is written to the final generation. Hosea 1:10 "Yet the number of the Children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, "Ye are not My People," there it shall be said unto them, ' Ye are the sons of the living God'. " The sons of the living God [Christ] call themselves Christians, and they are living in all parts of the world. Friend, God is telling Ezekiel to write not only to Judah, the Jews, but to those of the House of Israel, and they call themselves, "Christians". Ezekiel 3:5 "For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;" This message from God that Ezekiel is to bring the word to, are the people that know your language [Hebrew] and the terms and expressions of God's holy Word. The only people in the world that care at all for the truth of the written word, are of the house of Judah [Jews-brother Judah and Benjamin], and those who accept the words and teachings of the living God, Jesus Christ; and they call themselves Christians. Ezekiel 3:6 "Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee." God is not sending Ezekiel to people of a foreign language, that simply don't relate to God and his holy things, where there is no communication, nor understanding. God is telling Ezekiel that had he sent him to heathen Gentile nations, they would convert, and the example of this is Jonah's preaching and Nineveh's conversion. These foreign Assyrians recognized the power of God on a man when he preached the word. Ezekiel 3:7 "But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto Me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted." But God knew that the house of Israel was a people with a brain that would not be opened. They were stiff-necked, and hard hearted in their own vanity. Most of the Church world today is so hard hearted that they can't and won't connect God's word with common sense, and go chasing after the many fairy-tales of the world, such as evolution, the rapture, abortion, and now the acceptance of Sodomy as part of the love of God. Their hearts and minds are singed by the burning fire of Satan's lies. They would rather believe a lie, then the Word that God has placed in most every home in the Christian world. The future in most Christian homes is limited to the next paycheck, or the last monetary gain of wealth that came into their home. There is no reliance on the Lord for provision, but their only hope is the job that buys the bacon, or the government check that they have come to rely upon. Ezekiel 3:8 "Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads." Strong is part of Ezekiel's name; El [God] strengthens. When God chooses a person, and they go forth to preach the Word, He strengthens them with the mind and the desire to get the job done. The ability to remember the word and related the entire scripture as a unit, is a gift that comes only from God. Ezekiel 3:9 "As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house." God is saying that if they listen, fine; and if they don't, fine also. I have given you a heart and a mind that is harder and fixed that they cannot change you either. Their words of threats will roll off you, and you will have no fear of any part of them. It really disturbs some ministers when they try to preach God's Word, and they are shackled with the deacon board, and the traditions of the church system; it is like having a chain around the gifted ministers neck, and they can jerk it when ever he [she] gets to deep into God Word. That system of confusion and pressures that keep the truth from getting out, is part of the Babylon system of these end times. It is what keeps the flock from being fed, and maturing in the word, and that is why the true man of God will not stay in such a binding force. The greatest sin in the world today is to teach a lie to please the world, when you know the truth and withhold that truth. It is truly a sad state of affairs when the medical plan, or the pension becomes more important to a minister then the preaching the truth. That then becomes the price you receive for your very soul. Ezekiel 3:10 "Moreover He said unto me, "Son of man, all My words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears." God is telling Ezekiel to let it all sink into your head, and let your ears hear. Ezekiel 3:11 "And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy People, and speak unto them, and tell them, 'Thus saith the Lord God;' whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear." When you preach, and give out the true words of God, don't listen to any of these so called critics and self-appointed authorities, you preach the word. God makes it clear that the only thing we are to preach is what is in the word of God. You preach "Thus saith the Lord", and if they hear, or not it doesn't matter; for their blood will not be on your hands then, but on their own head. We are not out to be popular, but to teach what is in the Bible, and most will reject what you say, however it is not your responsibility as to how it is accepted. Ezekiel 3:12 "Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, "Blessed be the glory of the Lord from His place." This is the message direct from the throne of the Almighty Father, and it is addressed to each of us today. Do you have the faith, courage, and trust to put all your efforts into doing it God's way? When you teach and plant the seeds with boldness, your credentials are, "Thus saith the word of the Lord", or "It is written". We stand on that word only, and that word cannot be mediated or debated, for God's Word is the final authority. We are to read it to understand it enough to confidence that it is true. Ezekiel 3:13 "I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and a noise of a great rushing." These highly polished vehicles, with the protective creatures within them are getting reading ready to depart. The noise is getting louder, as their systems are starting up. God's meeting with Ezekiel is about over, and I hope that the high technology that Ezekiel has tried to describe for us, has not clouded the message that God came to give us. Ezekiel 3:14 "So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the Lord was strong upon me." Anyone who has been in the very presence of God, and communed with Him will feel much sorrow and a let down when left alone. Though God had departed from that place, and the highly polished bronze vehicles, with the very glory of God showing round about them departed, the Spirit of God filled Ezekiel's entire being. It is time now to go to work, and get the Word out. Ezekiel has been charged with divine intervention, and he cannot keep it within himself. Ezekiel has seen these round circular vehicles with the standards of the tribes of Israel upon them, come and land on earth. and from the main vehicle, Ezekiel saw the presence of the Living God. God came to give Ezekiel a message to give specifically to all the tribes of Israel, Jew and Christian alike, and God told Ezekiel that it didn't matter whether they listened or not; give the word as it is written. Within the message that Ezekiel will give to us, is a description of even what we are to face in these end times, as well as the kingdom age to come, when our Lord is dwelling with us. Ezekiel 3:15 "Then I came to them of the captivity at Tel-abib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days." The word "Chebar" in the Hebrew means "a period of time". It is also interesting that this second time or meeting with God is seven days later. A day with the Lord is a thousand years, and it will be at the end of the Millennium that all these things will come to a completion. It is also interesting that this book of Ezekiel also will take you to the end of the Millennium age, and to the time of the eternal age. Ezekiel 3:16 "And it came to pass at the end of seven days [12th Thammuz], that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying," Remember that it was God that attached the name "son of man" to Ezekiel. Ezekiel 3:17 "Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at My mouth, and give them warning from Me." We will see in later chapters that Ezekiel was a watchman for the "House of Israel", as he warns the Christian nations [Israel] of the events that will befall them prior to the coming of Jesus Christ. He message is also to the House of Judah, as Ezekiel's message is to the whole house of Israel. You simply can not take Ezekiel's message and fit it into one small tribe, the tribe of Judah [Jews] and make it fit. This is because Israel has become an numerous as the sands of the sea. God is telling Ezekiel to be their watchman, and hear the Words that He is going to tell him. Another words tell it exactly as I am telling you; Then they will be will be without excuse. Ezekiel 3:18 "When I way unto the wicked, 'thou shalt surely die; and thou givest them not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand." With the knowledge comes the responsibility that is contained within that knowledge. The warning that God is giving Ezekiel is to save Israel from their sins, and that knowledge will give them eternal life, and if you have the knowledge and withhold that knowledge from them; then when they die in their physical death, the blood their iniquity, or sins, will cause their eternal death also will be on your [Ezekiel's] hands. God is not putting us on a guilt trip, but when we have the opportunity of sharing God's word, and we fail to do so, then if that man dies and goes to hell, we will have to give account of ourselves before God. Sometimes the holy Spirit may lead us not to speak when asked information by others. We must follow the leading of the holy Spirit in these matters. Ezekiel 3:19 "Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul." When you warn a person of the consequences of his continuing in sin, and that person dies, then he is answerable for that sin, and all blame is taken from you by God. The mission is to please God, and do the work of the Lord, that He has led you to do. To be faithful in whatever gifts He has given you, makes you pleasing to God, and frees you from all responsibility of others eternal destruction. Ezekiel 3:20 "Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumlingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand." If a righteous man starts to sin, and I lay a stumbling block before him, his soul will die. And when that person dies, and stands before the Heavenly Father, all the righteous that he has done in this life will die with him. God will not remember any of the righteous acts that he has done, and it will be just as if that person has never lived. All will go to be burned in the lake of fire. For your part in causing the man to fall, you will also stand before God, and that sin that the person has committed will also be as if you had committed it. Those sins will be on your hands also. All those that refuse to listen to the warnings in the Word that the Antichrist will come first, are caused to be that way by God Himself. They are ignorant because God has allowed them to be that way. Those of the elect, every one of them will know exactly who the Antichrist is, because God has allowed them to. Ezekiel 3:21 "Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy should." Whenever anyone shares in getting God's word in the minds of the lost, they all share equally when the crown of glory are given at the close of this earthly life. We are all part of the body of Christ, and every one does not have the gifts, nor the abilities to do the same work. However, each of us is responsible for the time and gifts that we do have. That is for you to decide how you will give to the Lord, and in what capacity, but each of us will be held accountable for what we do have. Ezekiel 3:22 "And the hand of the Lord was there upon me; and He said unto me, "Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee." God is now planning another meeting with Ezekiel, and He now tells Ezekiel to go to a place on the plain and He will be there. Ezekiel 3:23 "Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the Lord stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face." When Ezekiel got to the place on the plain where God told him to go, behold, right before his eyes were the Highly polished bronze vehicles, with all the clouds of glory, and the rainbow. Just as Ezekiel saw them in the first meeting by the river Chebar, here they are again. The cherubim's, and all the splendor that was at the first meeting again took Ezekiel and left him in awe, and Ezekiel fell on the ground face down. Ezekiel 3:24 "Then the Spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spake with me, and said unto me, "Go, shut thyself within thine house." Then in his humble state, the Spirit came into Ezekiel, and he stood to his feet before God. There is a time and place for everything in God's plan. And God is preparing Ezekiel for his mission. God is telling Ezekiel to go to his house, and lock himself up there. Ezekiel 3:25 "But thou, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands upon thee, and shall bind thee with them, and thou shalt not go out among them:" Remember, God has placed a time of seventy years of captivity on the House of Judah, and much longer on the House of Israel, and God does not want the message out until the time is full and completed. Ezekiel has the message, and then was not the time of delivery for it. Ezekiel 3:26 "And I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth, that thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a reprover: for they are a rebellious house." God is telling Ezekiel that there are certain things that will come to pass just as He has planned them to be. And until the right time comes, it is God that will seal Ezekiel's tongue to the roof of his mouth so that he cannot speak. the warning will come at God's appointed times. It is amazing that God's word is sealed to certain people, and their minds are so shut that it is impossible to say anything to them. However at certain appointed times, others will come alive to the Word, just like a light was turned on in their head. We can see a number of ministries just die on the vine, as they beg day after day, and the focus of all their efforts and centered on money. Paying for prayers and healing is blasphemy, when Christ paid the full price on the cross, and a form of blackmail to get the tithe is used also by many today. Know this, that God makes things happen when they are suppose to happen. You will know when it is time to speak, for the Spirit of God will come on fire within you, when it is your time to speak. Ezekiel 3:27 "But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them, 'Thus saith the Lord God; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.' " This is the time to speak out when things are not right, and voice our opinion when the world moves against God's word. We are to . The "rapture theory" is preparing the church world to accept the false messiah as the true Christ. All cities, and all nations will be one nation, and totally desolate for the truth of God's Word; except for the elect of God, and those sealed in their minds, as recorded in Revelation 9:4.
