Ezekiel 33 goes into a far more important topic, which is the announcement of salvation.

Ezekiel 33:1 "Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,"

Ezekiel 33:2 "Son of man, speak to the children of thy People, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:"

God is warning us through Ezekiel, that if we care enough to save the souls of our people, and our nation, then we must set a watchman in place, and keep him alert. We must also listen to him when he sounds the alarm.

Ezekiel 33:3 "If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;"This chapter is address to the final generation, to those of the house of Israel, not the house of Judah, and those people are the ones that call themselves Christians today. When that watchman that we set in place see's the deceptions and signs of the end times [the swords] coming upon them, let that watchman warn the people that the enemy is even at the door.

Are you knowledgeable enough to know when the enemy is even at the door? The enemy is the Antichrist, Satan, and it includes his entire realm. That realm today, is in the form of one worldism, and all the forces that is bringing it to pass. It is important for us to know what God's servants are, and should be doing as the time of the Antichrist's arrival to earth draws near. Does it even matter to you? It is time to know where each of us stand.

Ezekiel 33:4 "Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head."

These trumpet soundings are recorded in the book of Revelation, and we are living in the generation that will see the deceptions of the Antichrist's system, and view his arrival at the fifth trumpet. God is telling us, through Ezekiel, that if we do not heed these warnings, and prepare ourselves to stand, then our fall will be our own fault. The Sword, again, is the tools of deception that God will give to the "king of Babylon, the Antichrist.

There are many signs of these events happening today, and they are in the fields of politics, religion, education, and so on, both locally and internationally. Are you aware of any of them. One of them is cry saying "peace, peace spoken everywhere", yet conflicts and murder continue. The biggest sign is probably the "one World government" [the United Nations], with its many dominating agencies. This sign appears to be very close to the political beast of Revelation 13, and all watchmen of God should be watching the actions of this beast closely. When this beast falls, and it's powers to rule fall apart, the religious beast will rise, and with it, the arrival of Satan, the Antichrist.

We have a responsibility as Christians to know the signs, and to alert other interested Christians of the signs of the times. When you see and warn others, then the life of their eternal soul is not on your hands, if and when they choose not to heed the warning.

Ezekiel 33:5 "He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul."

When you warn another person of the signs of the times, and they choose not to listen to you, and they refuse to get themselves prepared to stand against the Antichrist, and his system; then the blood [life] of their eternal soul is only on themselves. However, when that Christian pays attention to the warnings God has given us, through the signs of the end times written in His word; his soul shall be saved.

Ezekiel 33:6 "But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand."

If a watchman [pastor, teacher or another Christian] knows the signs, or deceptions and events of the end times [the swords], and is aware that these signs are upon us, and yet he keeps quiet, [blows not the trumpet]; God is telling each of those who kept quiet, that the blood of all people that he should have warned will be on that watchman's [pastor's] hand.

This points also to each of us. When we see the signs coming, and know what they are a sign of, then we become the watchman on the wall, and we are to tell our friends, neighbors, and relatives of the warning. Once we have warned them, then their blood is on their own hands, and God said He will not hold you responsible any longer.

If you are teaching the "Rapture of the Christian church to avoid the Antichrist", and in ignorance that person yields to the Antichrist [Satan], and takes his name, number, and the mark of the beast, you are responsible for his fall, and are going to be held accountable for that souls fall.

Ezekiel 33:7 "So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at My mouth, and warn them from Me."

God is saying through Ezekiel, that what is written in this book [of Ezekiel] makes you a watchman, once you have read it, and understand it. The "house of Israel" was the ten tribes nation called "Israel" that was scattered in 745-722 B.C. by Assyria, and those people were brought north into an area just north of Lake Van, in Iraq. Later they migrated through the Caucasus Mountains, and settled throughout Western Europe, and the Americas. They are called "Caucasians", and today they make up what we call the Christian nations of the World.

This warning from God is to the watchman of those Christian nations, and each Christian who is in his word, and aware of the signs of these times. When you "hear the word from My mouth", you are reading it in His word, and by this, your warning is from God. You are God messenger [watchmen] in this final generation. This is definitely not the time to be playing around with "one verse pastors".

Ezekiel 33:8 "When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand."

This is a blessing to each of us from the hand of God. When God declares a warning to His watchman [preacher, teacher, or Christian], that watchman must tell those around them. In so doing, the blood of the wicked man will be on his own head. There are still many pastors who are alert watchmen on the wall, for our people.

The knowledge of this whole book of Ezekiel is given for us to give a warning to those we come in contact with in this final generation. We are a many membered body of Christ, and as in any body, all parts of that body cares for each other. The watchmen are in all parts of that many membered body, and as we see events come to pass, we must care for the other members. We are not to force them to accept are warning, only to warn them.

Ezekiel 33:9 "Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul."

Once you warn others, as a watchman, your hands are clean. Though we fail over and over to convert those we talk with; God is pleased when we try. We are to plant the seed of the gospel, and it is the Holy Spirit that will make the seed grow. As we witness for our Lord, it is that attempt, given with a clean heart on our part, that will yield rewards in Christ's kingdom.

Ezekiel 33:10 "Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?"

How can we live as Christians, if we go through life with sin and guilt on our minds? Of course the answer is by repentance. Repentance from the heart brings total freedom, and complete forgiveness. Trying makes perfect, in God's eyes.

Ezekiel 33:11 "Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from you evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?"

The power of this statement is in; "As I live, saith the Lord God." God spoke it, and it is a promise to you and I when we repent. God takes no pleasure in burning someone in hell. God would rather see a repentive heart, then the judgment upon a hardened heart. The death of the wicked is a spiritual death, which claims the very soul of the wicked. "Turn ye, turn ye", God is pleading two times that the wicked will turn from their evil, repent, and seek eternal life.

"O house of Israel" again, refers to the Christians of today. We will see later that God is dealing separately between the "House of Judah" [the Jews], and the "House of Israel" [Christian nations]. These are two separate peoples, yet many pastors today simply do not know the difference between them.

Ezekiel 33:12 "Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy People, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth."

This carries over from the prior verse: "Turn ye, turn ye". What is the subject here? The subject is the parable of the Babylonian war. That war is the spiritual battle coming upon the whole earth, when this "king of Babylon" [the Antichrist] will come and deceive all peoples of the earth, except those watchmen [no gender] who have the seal of God in their foreheads [minds]. The watchman [pastor or teacher] is the one God is assigned to the task of warning and preparing His children to be ready for that time.

Upon the arrival of the Antichrist [king of Babylon of the end times] the signs will come to pass, and the watchman will sound off to warn all those with ears to hear. When the righteous of God hear the warning, they will stand. However, if they hear and do not take heed, they will be deceived and bow to the Antichrist. God is telling us through Ezekiel, that If you bow to Satan, the Antichrist, it will make no difference how righteous you are, you will fall, and lose it all.

What, lose your salvation? You cannot worship both Jesus Christ and the Antichrist, and when you bow to the Antichrist, then there is no grace to give you. "Once saved always saved?" Not when you bow to the Antichrist, and take his name and number.

Know the signs of the times and be aware. This is not the day to fall asleep on the watch. It is an abomination to claim the name of Jesus, and then not care enough to study His Word. Don't just believe, but know God's word, for your very soul's survival depends on it. God has just told you that He doesn't care how righteous you think you are, if you worship the Antichrist, you are going to the abyss with Satan. That is what chapters 29-32 was all about. You can live the good church life right up to the Antichrist's arrival, then that righteous living means nothing when you are deceived by the Antichrist.

If you know the Antichrist when he arrives, and make a stand against him, God says He counts that as perfect. Ignorance is NO excuse.

Ezekiel 33:13 "When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousness shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it."

Remember this is written to us, living in the final generation. The "iniquity" is yielding to Satan. "His own righteousness" means self-righteousness, and the "trusting in his own righteousness" is relying on any self-righteousness acts to find favor with our Lord. Any righteousness we have within ourselves, is attributed to the righteousness of Jesus Christ only, and only He gets the glory. "All your self-righteousness shall not be remembered", however, God is saying; if not repented of , your soul "shall surely die for it."

This chapter is addressed to those who claim to be Christians, have God's word, and have set an watchman to alert the people of the Antichrist's arrival, and living a righteous life, yet, when the warning comes, what are they going to do about it.

Ezekiel 33:14 "Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;"

Ezekiel 33:15 "If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die."

This is another warning to the wicked to repent, and turn from their sin. When we do wrong to someone, or sin, we must repent of that sin. God is telling us that just to repent is not enough, but we must make an attempt to make our wrong right. God is telling us that if the wicked will turn from his wickedness, and try to walk in His statutes, then his soul will not die.

Because of Jesus Christ's death on the Cross, and His resurrection; there is no sin that can not be forgiven. At repentance, we are made perfect through the price paid on the cross.

Ezekiel 33:16 "None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live."

Once you have repented, that sin is blotted out, and is hidden from view from our Heavenly Father. It is removed from our souls, and placed on our Lord Jesus Christ. God is saying, don't even bring it up [mentioned unto him], for it is over and done with. God then promised; "he shall surely live."

With this promise, how can anyone go to bed, and let the sun go down on unrepented sin. Through repentance our mind and conscience is guilt free.

Ezekiel 33:17 "Yet the children of thy People say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal."

It seems that mankind wants to see blood to make righteousness equal for wrong deeds, yet God requires repentance, for the sin to be equal before Him. Jesus Christ our Lord paid a heavy price so each of us could be free from our sins, and that price is what makes all sin equal in justice before the Father. Repentance can only be obtained in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Even a divorce, and all acts surrounding it, can be covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, and with that forgiveness, you have a clean new start, for all sin is blotted out. You have a new beginning, and then don't let anyone pin a guilt trip upon you, for when they do, it shows the self-righteous fools for who they are. Leave all vengeance against them, to God for their sins, and start your new beginning.

Ezekiel 33:18 "When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby."

Ezekiel 33:19 "But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby."

God's promises are not a license to sin. When a Christian who knows right from wrong, willfully commits sin, it is not forgiven, if he goes and repents not. This will condemn his soul. God is a loving God, and when a wicked person repents, and tries to do right, "he shall live thereby [because of it]".

Ezekiel 33:20 "Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways."

This is an independent thing between you and God. It is a one on one relationship, and you will be judged, or forgiven by God, only based on what you do. If your heart is repentive, you will find favor with God. If you think you are to good to repent, your self-righteousness will condemn your soul to destruction. When you at least try, God counts it perfect.

Ezekiel 33:21 "And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten."

This battle is coming very shortly, and is direct to the very end of this earth age, when the Antichrist is ruling from Jerusalem. We must now set the times for understanding the rest of this chapter. We have set the watchman in place to warn us of the signs of the times. The signs came, as God promised they would. The "king of Babylon" [the Antichrist] came and deceived the whole world through his wonders, lies, and miracles, and moved even against Jerusalem. But why is Satan so determined to to rule from Jerusalem?

Because that is where Jesus Christ will return and rule from, and Satan is a type of what Christ will be like, and that is why many Christians will be deceived, right along with the heathen. Remember in Daniel where he is talking in terms

Ezekiel 33:22 "Now the hand of the Lord was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I saw no more dumb."

Though this is history that is dealing with this portion of Scripture, it's showing us that God does have His hand on all events, and in all periods of time; we are concerned here only with the prophecy of the end times. We are approaching the time of the end, and there is a message here for each of us. These verses now are talking about what will happen in our lifetimes.

Ezekiel 33:23 "Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,"

Ezekiel 33:24 "Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance."

The time that this prophecy takes place, is when the Antichrist sets foot in Jerusalem, then most of Bible prophecy will take place very quickly. Virtually daily Bible prophecy will unfold, and you will see it, and the Holy Spirit will work through you, and you will understand it all then.

All of God's elect will know when the second coming will take place, by the slaying of the two witnesses, and the three and a half day celebration that follows. Though no one will know the exact instant, God's elect will know the day, by the events happening, for it is written.

"I was no more dumb", means that in that day coming shortly, we will and must know the times and the seasons, and the details of the events of prophecy. There are no surprises to God's elect. For to be ignorant of God's word means you will be deceived by the Antichrist.

At the time of the Antichrist's reign, "they" that inhabit the city of Jerusalem, claim the land because of their numbers and their possession of the land. "They" are the "Kenites", the "bad figs" from the "parable of the fig tree". They hold the land now under false pretence of being Jewish, when in fact they are "Kenites". "They are today preparing the way for their father, Satan the Antichrist, and that is an abomination unto the Lord. Satan will be the Antichrist upon his arrival, and he project himself to be the true Christ.

If you are looking for a man on earth now to fill this role, or if you are looking to Europe as the one world system, you are narrowing your mind, and not paying attention to the Word of God. The Antichrist is the "son of perdition", and he is Satan. The Antichrist's time on earth will start at God's appointed time, when the one world political system falls. We watched the Soviet Union fall apart in three days, and then rebuild itself again in fourteen days. We will see something similar happen to the United Nations political system [the political beast], and out of it will rise the new religious order [the religious beast of Revelation 13], and Satan, the Antichrist will be the false christ that rules over that system.

The "Kenites" are standing in the very city of God, claiming to be God's chosen and elect, and most of the church world today doesn't know the difference. It's a shame, and a disgrace; it is an abomination. This verse twenty-four takes place soon, and it marks the coming of the Antichrist. If your looking for a rapture, to fly your body out of here, your in trouble my friend, for you will be deceived.

Ezekiel 33:25 "Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood; and shall ye possess the land?

These "Kenites" are a pack of murders, all the way back to their father "Cain". They sat in the seat of Moses, and claimed to be Jews, when they killed Jesus, Judas, and the countless of millions of souls to this present day. Their banner claims many names, and flies many flags, such as Communism, Zionism, and today, the United Nation's flag. Their secrecy and wealth are setting up the Christian world to march right into Satan, the Antichrist's camp proudly. They will sing praises to the Antichrist, and all the time their traditions, their doctrine, and church leaders will convince them that they are praising Jesus Christ our Lord.

Satan will hold his revivals, and all the bleeding hearts will run to him. They will all fall and worship the "image of the Beast", just as we read in Daniel 2. All that is except the "elect of God", and those who are sealed in their minds, and find Satan detestable.

Ezekiel 33:26 "Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbor's wife: and shall ye possess the land:"

This "stand upon your sword", comes from an ancient ritual. In this ritual, the warrior leans on his sword, in the posture assumed by necromancers, waiting for their rites to be preformed over them. This is not of God, but from heathen custom. God is showing His disgust at this evil custom, as well as all customs and traditions that are promoted as being of God, when in fact they are not. God is giving us a warning to stop the practice and repent.

Ezekiel 33:27 "Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence,"

When Satan comes at the sounding of the sixth trumpet, it will be as it was in the day's of Noah. God's people will be taking part in unholy marriages, and these marriages will be with the wrong groom. That groom will not be Jesus Christ, but with the Antichrist. The "wife" [the churchmen] will think she is in good hands, with her husband [Christ], only she married the wrong groom [Satan].

When Satan comes as the false Christ, you will know him for who he is, or you will be deceived. There is no half way. You are either sealed, or God will give you over to the Antichrist. Read in for yourselves in Revelation 9:4; "And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads [minds]."

You will be given over to the beast by God if you are not sealed, and thus you will not be capable of knowing a lie from the truth. You will be part of Satan's system.

The "pestilence" that you will be killed by, is Satan's locust army of Revelation 9, and recorded also in Joel 1. The death is a spiritual death, for once this locust army stings you, as a scorpion stings, you become defenseless. Your soul will be doomed to death for their is no repentance for that act. I hope your church playing hasn't so blinded you, that you have put your armor of Ephesians 6 [the Bible] on the shelf for a later time.

Ezekiel 33:28 "For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through."

This is the sounding of the seventh trumpet, and God will make an end to all activities in Jerusalem [Israel] at that time. The pomp of their strength will cease because, Jesus Christ will destroy all evil rudiments [elements], with the sword that comes out of his mouth. Christ's sword is His word, and when He spoke worlds were formed. That is power my friend.

Ezekiel 33:29 "Then shall they know that I am the Lord, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed."

On that day of our Lord's return, on the seventh trumpet, Jesus Christ shall lay their city and the people in it, to waste. The entire world will know our Lord Jesus Christ at that moment. The "abominations which they have committed", were the Christians worshipping the Antichrist, and taking his name, number, and the mark of the beast.

Ezekiel 33:30 "Also, thou son of Man, the children of thy People still are talking against thee by the wall and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the Lord."

This word "against" is incorrectly translated from the Hebrew text, and should read "about thee". If you truly seek God's Word, and study; God will lead you to the right teacher, or reveal His Word to your heart.

Ezekiel 33:31 "And they come unto thee as the People cometh, and they sit before thee as My People, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness."

This verse strikes home to most of the Christian churches, and their people today. It is truly prophecy come true. People today flock by the thousands to hear a special revival minister, and then put on the appearance of being lead by the Lord, and following His ways. However, their hearts are hardened, their minds are closed, and what comes out of their mouth is a lie. The thing that is on most Christians mind today is; "What can I get out of this?" "How will it make me prosper?"

Have you ever heard the prosperity crap being peddled today, or that of the prosperity dogma? Search your own heart and mind to find your motives for studying, giving your tithe, or even attending the church you call home. Is it all a counterfeit form of love?

Why do you worship Christ? Your answer had better be because God cared for me so much, that He sent His Son to die on the cross for me. Do you really believe that? That should be your motive.

Ezekiel 33:32 "And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not."

Are you ready to take a stand, with a commitment that could put you at odds with your family, or church, or even make you an outcast for our Lord. As you commit to your service for our Lord Jesus Christ, it may be by using your singing a song in your church to bless the congregation, and reflect your talents. When you give whatever talents you dedicate to the Lord, it is important that your intensions are pure before the Lord. When the congregation hears or sees your talents, are they drawn to your talents, or to the glorifying the Lord.

Sometimes God's teaching is irritating to the the reader, but if it draw's others to Christ, then it is of value.

Ezekiel 33:33 "And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them."

When all this comes to pass, then you will remember the warning that God gave you through the book of Ezekiel.
