Ezekiel 6:1 "And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,"

This is the Heavenly Father continuing to speak directly to Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 6:2 ""Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,"

Mountains in Bible prophecy is always symbols for nations. When you refer to the mountain, it is the government of a people. Here God is prophesying against the nations of all the tribes of Israel, both houses, the Jews and the Christians, and not in their behalf.

Those tribes of the "house of Israel" in these final times are basically the Christian nations scattered around the world, however, to be specific the name Israel was placed on Joseph, who received the Abrahamic blessing, through his two sons Ephraim and Manasseh. These people in the latter days are formed in the British people, and those of the United States. So in this prophecy, Ezekiel is not prophesying against a single person, but against these nations.

Ezekiel 6:3 "And say, 'Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; 'Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places."

To make it easier to understand; "Ye nations of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God;" Then God speaks to every one; the hills, which is to say the smaller countries, and the rivers or rural areas, and to the valleys, which includes all the people of every Christian nation. This is God telling us that he will bring judgment upon all of them and destroy all of their places of idol worship [high places].

God is tired of his people whoring after all sorts of heathen religions and idolatry. God has continually warned His people of His jealousy for them, and yet they don't regard His warnings.

Ezekiel 6:4 "And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols."

This is in reference to the nation after nation that goes to make up the One world system. This system includes all the nations that combine to form the system, and the governmental head that they have given their authority to. God is removed by that system, and supreme and center of all rulings and actions are the power that the system gives to itself. This political system God will destroy, and from its ruin will come the Religious beast [system], which the entire world will place the Antichrist upon it.

All the Altars that you place in your homes, your churches, with their false doctrines, and the reverence you place upon the two beasts systems of the end times, god will destroy.

Ezekiel 6:5 "And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel before their idols/ and I will scatter your bones round about your altars."

Later we will discuss Ezekiel 37, where God is telling Ezekiel to prophecy to a valley of dead bones. God tells him to talk to them, and preach to them, for the this valley is pack full of dismembered dry bleached bones. This represents the fact that they have no knowledge of God's Word, and are spiritually dead to the knowledge of God's Word.

In the large part, this time is now, for most people in the Christian world, and those calling themselves Christian are spiritually dead. They are dead spiritually because their hope is in a system, or church building, and not in the Lord Jesus Christ. Most Christians simply cannot tell you what the plan of God is that is the central theme of the entire Bible. It is these dry bones of so called Christians, bowing to all sorts of wicked altars that God is against.

Because of their traditions of men, God will allow them to be spiritually dead.

Ezekiel 6:6 "In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; the your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished."

Friend, it doesn't matter what work that you do for the lord, if you are spiritually dead, so are your works. There is a day of correction coming where all works, thoughts and acts will be accounted for. That time is the Millennium age that will start at the sounding of the seventh trumpet, as spoken of in Revelation, and in I Corinthians 15:50-54. When Christ comes then all things that offend will be destroyed, all images cut down, and if you have bowed to Antichrist, your works will be given over to Satan. All high places, or religious practices which offend God will be gone for good.

Ezekiel 6:7 "And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the Lord."

This is the purpose that God will destroy all of His disobedient children; that the heathen can know Jesus Christ's righteousness. that the people of the world that are not His, will know Him upon His arrival to earth at the seventh trumpet, and sets His feet on the mount of olives. The entire world will know that God is Lord.

Anyone so stupid to make the claim that they don't know if there is a God or not; on that day will know and pay the price for their ignorance. God loves all His children, but He is also a jealous God.

Ezekiel 6:8 "Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries."

When ever, and where ever God's judgment falls, God will keep a remnant to declare the truth of His word, that know and trust the Lord. These are the ones that studied to know God's Word, and teach it chapter by chapter and verse by verse, and they know God's entire plan, and they are called the remnant, or God's elect.

Ezekiel 6:9 "And they that escape of you shall remember Me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from Me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols; and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations."

It doesn't matter where these nations are scattered to, this remnant that is amongst these nations that have turned their backs on God, will always know and trust in the Lord God. Even though the entire nation plays around in their whorish ways, God will always have His remnant to be a thorn in their side, to remind them of their whorish ways.

There are idols in most every house in America, for an idol to God is any thing, manmade or not that comes between you and God. Even you car, house, business, or thing that takes all of your time to where you have no time for God. Putting these things first is what makes a whorish heart.

Ezekiel 6:10 "And they shall know that I am the Lord, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them."

By the time the Book of Ezekiel is finished, "And they shall know that I am the Lord," is mentioned twenty one times. God is saying that this is not just a bunch of empty words, but you can count on God keeping this promise. God told us in advance what He shall do through His prophets, and He is saying that He is going to do what is written.

Ezekiel 6:11 "Thus saith the Lord god; 'Smite with thine hand, and stamp with they foot, and say,' Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence."

God is telling Ezekiel that "I don't care what you have to do; you clap your hands and stomp your feet, but you get them to listen to you, for I intend to destroy them for their abominations." This time of the age is not a time for wimps, for to stand for Christ will take a backbone, and a knowledge in God's Word. This is a time to get peoples attention, while maintaining their credibility with the almighty God, and that is where it counts.

God says that it is He that will cause the sword to fall on them, and the famine for truth, and the pestilence to fall upon them, if they continue with their abominations. The severity of this warning is their very soul, and in this case your boldness to get the message out shows your love.

The whorish heart is one that chases after some new belief, religion, and not digging into the whole word of God. Placing a higher priority on traditional doctrines, and fairy tale dogma, like the rapture theory. Our people, Israel, have whored after strange gods for thousands of years, as there is nothing new under the sun. The religion, idol, or abomination may have a different form or name today then it did then, however the act hurts our Heavenly Father just as much. God is the same today as He was in Abraham's day, and He is just as jealous now as He was them.

Ezekiel 6:12 "He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish My fury upon them."

God is angry toward His own children. This verse is directed the spiritual death that is about to cover the entire earth. God is going to allow it all to happen, however, there is no need for you to remain ignorant of what is about to happen. The One World Political beast that is tightening its grip on the nations of the earth today, will fall; and from it will come a Religious beast that is unlike anything the world has ever seen.

During that time God will turn the people of the earth over to Satan, the Antichrist, and the famine for truth, and the spiritual death that will come by the sword [words], and pestilence [fallen angels and Kenites]. The elect of God will not be fooled, for they are the ones that refused to listen to the fairy-tales being taught now, and they will have the Word of God sealed in their minds [foreheads]. See Revelation 9:4 "And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal [knowledge] of God in their foreheads."

Ezekiel 6:13 " 'Then shall ye know that I am the Lord when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, and all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every think oak, and place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols."

This is the purpose stated again, and it will be repeated over and over. When you see our nation decline, and the everything seem to come down on our land, and the events around the world steam-roll over and over in decline and natural disaster, the events and prophecies are unfolding before us. It is time to stop playing church, and toying with heathen altars, and taking lightly what God holds dear.

Do you know what they are doing under those "green trees, and thick oaks? They are whoring around with heathen beliefs. They offer things that God hates, and call it religious practice. Their sweet savour that they offer on these altars of idolatry, they pretend to be of God, and God is saying He hates it. Read this verse again and get the anger that God is showing towards those people messing around with His word, and playing in their heathen beliefs, practices, and any other thing that God says that He hates.

Ezekiel 6:14 "So will I stretch out My hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the Lord.' "

This expression; "desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath," in the text mean that "God is going to make your fruitful place turn to a waste". God is going to take everything that you hold with pride and dear, and turn it into a desolate wilderness. When this happens, and you see it happening, pay attention; for it is happening that you will know that our God is the Lord. God wants you to know Him, because He wants to love you, and for you to love Him.

The Christian churches, on a whole today are turning away for God and His word. If this is happening in your church, it is time to stop and observe the condition of things going on in your church. We are told in Bible prophecy that the church as a whole will fall away during the time of the Antichrist, however there are some that will wake up, before it is to late. Those are the ones that will be sealed in their minds, and protected from the lies, deceitfulness of the Antichrist. Friend, this is a personal thing between you and God, for the sealing is in your mind, individually. God's elect will be protected because they know the events of the end times, and they know that the fake christ comes first, before the True Christ [Jesus Christ]. Then when the lying wonders, and deceitfulness of the Antichrist come upon you, you are not tempted, for you can identify the events as the prophecies of the Scriptures.

This is not to tare down the Church, and Christians, for the church is the body of Christ, and the many members that go to make up that body. The Church in the latter days is not a building, or a denomination, but a group of individuals that have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, and through repentance, have the blood of Jesus Christ cover their sin. Then once the Christian has been converted, they grow in the Scriptures, for it is important especially in these latter days. That Word becomes our breastplate of protection against Satan's spiritual attacks, during this "one hour of temptation", of the latter days.
