"Esau and Jacob, Birthright Passed on to Jacob."

God made a covenant with father Abraham, and that covenant was passed on to Isaac; then in Genesis 25 it stated that Esau had so little respect for that birthright that he sold it to Jacob for a some "red pottage". Later when Rebekah was told that Isaac was about to personally pass that birthright on to Esau, we will see that she tricked Isaac into thinking that Jacob was Esau, and by placing lamb skins over Jacob, and fixing Isaac a meal the way that Esau would prepare for his father, Isaac blessed Jacob instead of Esau.

We must also keep in mind that there is a parallel between this book of Genesis and the book of Revelation. In the book of Genesis we are studying relationships between God's promises to men, while in the book of Revelation these men's generations have grown into nations. We can see today that their nations act toward God, and other men in the same manner that their patriarchs did thousands of years prior.

Esau has just married two Hittite woman, and Isaac and Rebekah are very disappointed in Esau for for having so little respect for God's plan. Naturally this would eliminate Esau from having the Christ lineage come through Esau, under any condition. This is the reason that God states both in Malachi 1:3, and Romans 9:13 that "I hated Esau.", even when he was in his mother's womb. God knew the type of person Esau was.

We will see here in chapter twenty seven the weakness of Isaac's flesh, and the fact that both Isaac and Esau have forgotten that Esau has not only sold that birthright, but that his father has also passed that birthright on to Jacob.

Genesis 27:1 "And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, "My son:" and he said unto him, "Behold, here am I."

Isaac was about one hundred and thirty seven years old at this time, and he was blind.

Genesis 27:2 "And he said, "Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death:"

Isaac knows that he is about to die.

Genesis 27:3 "Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison;"

Esau was a great hunter, and Isaac loved Esau's venison. It was Isaac's weakness, for he loved the way Esau prepared the venison for him.

Genesis 27:4 "And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; the my soul may bless thee before I die."

Esau is the first born, and did have the right of the blessing. However, prior to Isaac passing that blessing on to him, Isaac wanted Esau to prepare a meal just the way he liked it. Isaac has forgotten what the extent of the blessing, for God will never allow Esau to have the blessing following his marriage into Hittite wives. The Hittite race were mixed peoples, with the Nephilim [fallen angel's offspring] as well as with the Kenites. That was the reason for the flood of Noah's day, the danger of the pollution of the bloodlines of all mankind, for it was through the pure bloodline of Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and now Jacob that the lineage of the Messiah would come into the world. This is why Esau could never receive that Abrahamic covenant.

Genesis 27:5 "And Rebekah heard when Isaac spake to Esau his son. And Esau went to the field to hunt for venison, and to bring it."

Remember that God had spoke to Rebekah years earlier, while Esau and Jacob were just infants in Rebekah's womb, saying the younger would serve the older, and be greater the the older [Genesis 25:23]. "Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger."

Two manner of people means they will be different even in the way they think and act, not just as the two men, but in the way their nations can be trusted. It is God's will that Jacob get the blessings bestowed upon Abraham. It will be from these two men, that the two super powers of the end times comes.

Malachi is "the word of the Lord" written to our generation, and addressing problems of our times. In Malachi 1:4, "Edom" is Esau, or Russia of today [Genesis 25:30], and God's feelings for Russia is expressed here. "Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the Lord of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and The people against whom the Lord hath indignation for ever."

When we look at the Russian people down through the centuries, including today, we see a people that have struggled to survive. Their leaders don't seem to know how to manage either the people or their resources, and even today they come to the world leaders as nothing more than beggars. Though they can convince small heathen nations of their strengths, in reality, they can not even feed their own people.

Were not talking about the Russian people individually, but the nation and it's form of government on the whole. It doesn't matter that they call themselves a democracy, for in reality, things and attitudes toward God are similar to the past. the leaders are the same. There is a continuation in their frame of mind which remains the same. God placed Esau [Russia] in that location, and because of that location they will never be able to prosper through agriculture. All their five and ten years plans have failed, even though certain years have been good.

So we see that God's word has become reality, and in God's placement geographically of Jacob [the United States, and Europe] and Esau [Russia]. God revealed His wishes to Rebekah, and the trickery of Rebekah to have Isaac bless Jacob, is according to the will of God. It seems that Isaac has forgotten that Esau has sold the birthright to Jacob, and in that Esau is showing his lack of honesty and character. Esau is ready to cash in on the blessing that now belongs to Jacob. In fact Esau is not even in the position to receive the blessing, for now he has two Hittite wives, and their is no way that the Christ child can be born into the lineage of Esau, with the pollution that has entered into the bloodline of his children, with the Nephilim and Kenite heritage mixing with the Hittites.

Genesis 27:6 "And Rebekah spake unto Jacob her son, saying, "Behold, I heard thy father speak unto Esau thy brother, saying,"

Genesis 27:7 "Bring me venison, and make me savoury meat, that I may eat, and bless thee before the Lord before my death."

Genesis 27:8 "Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command thee."

Genesis 27:9 "Go now unto the flock, and fetch me from thence two good kids of the goats; and I will make them savoury meat for thy father, such as he loveth:"

Notice that Rebekah has asked Jacob to fetch goats, and not sheep. Isaac knows the difference between the two flavors of the meats, and Rebekah knows exactly how to fix the goat to have the wild venison taste that Isaac loves.

Genesis 27:10 "And thou shalt bring it to thy father, that he may eat, and that he may bless thee before his death."

Jacob has a problem with this arrangement.

Genesis 27:11 "And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, "Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man:"

The word "Esau" means "hairy", so we see that we have two manners of people. It will not be difficult to tell the two brothers apart, and this also has a deeper spiritual meaning.

Genesis 27:12 "My father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing."

Jacob knows his father, and Isaac knows his son. Jacob is afraid that if Isaac caught on to what he was doing that instead of a blessing placed upon him, there would be a curse.

Genesis 27:13 "And his mother said unto him, "Upon me be thy curse, my son: only obey my voice, and go fetch me them."

Rebekah knew God's promise, and trusted in the Lord that He would carry out the promise that He gave her in the vision, that older would serve the younger. In knowing this promise, she had no doubts as to the outcome. So we see that the younger, Jacob, will receive the blessings. God, himself, uses covert actions to out smart Satan. Satan's methods of tripping up mankind is through the minds of people. Though we are to be peaceful as a dove, we also are to be wiser then the serpent, who is Satan.

Genesis 27:14 "And he went, and fetched, and brought them to his mother: and his mother made savoury meat, such as his father loved."

Genesis 27:15 "And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son:"

Rebekah took Esau's cloths and put them on Jacob to help in the disguise and covert actions, that are within the will of God. The whole idea that Esau is to receive any blessing at all at this time, is of Satan. However, Isaac's love for his elder son, has come in the way of God's will. Isaac has lost sight both visually and spiritually, for contained in the spiritually blessing is the lineage of Jesus Christ, and that is now not possible.

Genesis 27:16 "And she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck:"

Genesis 27:17 "And she gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob."

Genesis 27:18 "And he came unto his father, and said, "My father:" "Here am I; who art thou, my son?"

Genesis 27:19 "And Jacob said unto his father, I am Esau thy firstborn; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me."

Isaac is about to get some goat meat passed off as venison, and the old man won't know the difference. And in the end times, in a religious sense, a lot of people will also get goat meat passed off to them for their spiritual food, and likewise, they won't know the difference either. This is because they don't know the difference between the two goats that will be branded; one for Satan, and the other will be for the Passover. They will take the wrong goat, because they have not applied the word of God in their lives, and in their churches.

Jacob was willing, and knew it rightly belonged to him, for Esau had sold his birthright to him, and now Jacob is doing what is necessary to receive what is rightly his.

Genesis 27:20 "And Isaac said unto his son, "How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son?" And he said, "Because the Lord thy God brought it to me."

This is not a lie by Jacob, for the Lord God had already spoken to Rebekah while the children were still in her womb. Poor Isaac, in his old age, forgot what the birthright was all about. He forgot that the Birthright promise not only included the blessings of property, and children, and land; but it also contained the promise that the Messiah would come through the one blessed. When Esau married his two Hittite wives, this would become impossible, for the Hittites were a mixture of both the Nephilim [offspring of the fallen angels], and the Kenites [the offspring of Satan through Cain]. God will have His ways of controlling all things, even when we put our will over His. This has been stated before, however I repeat it for emphasis.

It was the Lord God Almighty that had allowed Rebekah to overhear the conversation between Isaac and Esau, and it was the Lord God Almighty through the Holy Spirit that caused her to instruct Jacob on the manner of what should be done. This is a extremely sacred thing that will be preformed here, and God will not let Isaac's old age and physical handicaps, and memory interfere with His overall plan and promise of the coming Messiah.

This event causes conflict in many churches, for it goes against their teachings and traditions, and puts God's will over man's imperfections. They look at the wrong being done here by Jacob, instead of Isaac, and this is understandable for they simply have lost focus on what the blessing is all about, and why it was important that the blessing NOT be passed on to Esau.

Genesis 27:21 "And Isaac said unto Jacob, "Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not."

I'm sure Jacob's heart jumped a little bit as Isaac told him to come closer so he could check out this one who claims to be Esau.

Genesis 27:22 "And Jacob went near unto his father ; and he felt him, and said, "The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau."

As Isaac flet the kid skin of the goat, things became cloudy in his mind because he knew both of his sons very well. This one sure sounded like Jacob, yet he felt like Esau.

Genesis 27:23 "And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau's hands: so he blessed him"

So it was, the blessing of the first born was passed to Jacob, as God had said to Rebekah in Genesis 25:23; "Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger."

Genesis 27:24 "And he said, "Art thou my very son Esau?" And he said, "I am."

Genesis 27:25 "And he said, "Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son's venison, that my soul may bless thee." And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine, and he drank."

I'm sure that God had his ways of delaying Esau while all this is taking place, and both Rebekah and Jacob were anxious to have it all come to an end.

Genesis 27:26 "And his father Isaac said unto him, "Come near now, and kiss me, my son."

The use of the word "now", is not in reference to time, but just an expression of command. It is emphasizing the solemnity of the command, and points to the fact that Isaac's faith was overcome by the "will of the flesh", and now that the meal was over, Isaac was willing to bless Jacob.

Genesis 27:27 "And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, "See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the Lord hath blessed:"

Genesis 27:28 "Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:"

These are the ingredience that go into the making of a good crop. This blessing is in reference to the making the ground produce. There should be no mystery to this, for it is the United States that out produces all other countries of the world, and is located on the most fertile soil on earth, with all the natural resources to make our land the mightiest of all super powers. This not only applies to our nation, but all Christian nations that claim the name of being the "Sons of the Living God", which we call "Christians".

We will see later in Genesis forty eight and forty nine, where this blessings are passed on to the two sons of Joseph, as well as the name "Israel". Those sons to carry the blessing foreword were "Ephraim" and "Manasseh". However, Hosea tells us in the book of Hosea 1:10; how to identify the people of the promise, carrying the promise of Abraham in the final generation.

Hosea 1:10 "Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, "Ye are not My People, there it shall be said unto them, "Ye are the sons of the Living God."

The son of the Living God is "Jesus Christ", and all those that came his name are called "Christians". The Christian nations are the offspring of Israel, even though they call them Gentile in ignorance, it does not change the fact that God has blessed them all dearly. Though they are blind to God's Holy Word; God is not blind to them, and the promises that He has given to us.

You may say, But what about the Jews? Genesis 49:10 tells us that "The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a law giver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto Him shall the gathering of the people be."

Israel of today is represented in both the United States as Manasseh, and England as Ephraim. However, upon Ephraim goes the name of Israel. Queen Elizabeth II is sitting upon the throne of England, and she holds "the Scepter" that is extended to this final generation; while the "Shiloh come", is Jesus Christ. Though many people think that the "rapture" is the "gathering of the people be"; this time will be the sounding of the seventh trumpet. It will be at that time this flesh age will be over, as well as the Antichrist's reign on earth, as well as the one world system, and your flesh body. In other words, as long as there is a flesh body on this earth, God said Judah will reign [scepter] over England [Israel].

We are so blessed that we even have to pay people not to plant grain. This seems strange, for we are moving into a different period of time with strange and hidden forces moving not only in our nation, but around the world. The world is being lulled to sleep, as Satanic forces are trying to bring the entire world into the Babylon of the end times; the New World Order", however, this system will fail because Revelation 13:3 tells us that the first head of this two headed beast will be "wounded to death". Then out of the crumbling of the "New world Order" political system will come the Antichrist [Satan] and his religious one world system. This is all coming to pass in this generation.

Genesis 27:29 "Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee."

This is exactly the way it is with the "House of Israel". When Russia, Cuba, the Nazis, and all nations that cursed the United States and England, their nations are cursed by God with all of those curses that are listed in Deuteronomy 28. Apply those curses to any nations that curse Israel [not the Jews], and you can see that God does keep his word. This is not written to the "House of Judah" [the Jews], but to the "House of Israel" the "sons of the Living God".

Genesis 27:30 "And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting."

The blessing promises of Abraham, that first went to Isaac, has now been passed on to Jacob by this time, and Esau is coming in to get his blessing. This shows the character of Esau; for he wanted what he had already sold to Jacob, and married into a polluted lineage of Hittite, which was against the will of God.

Genesis 27:31 "And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his father, and said unto his father, "Let my father arise, and eat of his son's venison, that thy soul may bless me."

Esau gave it all up, yet he was still going to take what was not his.

Genesis 27:32 "And Isaac his father said unto him, "Who art thou?" And he said, "I am thy son, thy firstborn Esau."

Esau still claimed it, but it was a lie, it was not his to claim anymore.

Genesis 27:33 "And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, "Who? where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him, yea, and he shall be blessed.."

In the Hebrew text this trembling was not from doubt, or from the discovery now made known, as in verses 26 and 27, but account of the difficulty that it had brought him with Esau's temperament. Though Isaac asks the question "Who?" he knew that it was Jacob from the start, for in verse twenty two Isaac said, "The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau."

Genesis 27:34 "And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto father, "Bless me, even me also, O my father."

Esau knew he had sold that birthright, and he thought he could get away with something that was not rightfully his. As we observe the Russian nation, we can see the same character of their leaders, as that of Esau. Russia of today appears to the world to have been reduced to a beggar nation, as she cries for "peace, peace", yet we see in Ezekiel 38, and 39 that God still has a use for Russia, and in the end it will be God, and not the United States, the United Nations, or any other force that will crush the Russians and their allies. And it will be God that gets the praise.

Genesis 27:35 "And he said, "Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing."

Did you get that? "came with subtlety"; That is the way that we defeat Satan. It is by covert action. Isaac knew God's will, and that Esau had sold the Birthright, and yet Satan had moved in to twist the truth. We are to always be above board between our hearts and God, yet in dealing with things and people of Satan, a covert action and subtlety may be necessary in keeping in the will of God.

Genesis 27:36 "And he said, "Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these tow times: he took away my birthright; and behold, now he hath taken away my blessing." And he said, "Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?"

"Jacob", in the Hebrew tongue means "Heel grabber", the "supplanter", or one that pushes in. Poor Esau has a very poor memory, for he has already sold the birthright for a bowl of some "red pottage", and given up his blessing by going against God's plan in marrying the two Hittite women.

Genesis 27:37 "And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, "Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son?"

Isaac must be well over the hill mentally, for he knew the source of the blessing was from God and not himself. Isaac didn't make Jacob the lord over Esau, but it was Almighty God, and Isaac now has nothing to give Esau. God stated this as a fact while they were still in their mother's womb; "The elder shall serve the younger"; the Word of God had declared it.

Genesis 27:38 "And Esau said unto his father, "Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father." And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept."

What is wrong with Esau here? Is Esau lifting up his voice and weeping before God in repentance? No. He is whimpering like a whipped puppy. He is begging to his father for a handout, rather then telling God that he is sorry that he married out of his own people, and thought no more of the blessings of God, then a bowl of pottage for an empty stomach. There is no repentance, nor is there any thought of anything of spiritual value. Does Esau even speak to God? No! Not then, nor his offspring in this present generation.

Try and relate this to verse to Russia of today. Today the leaders of Russia cry out in their begging state of existence to all the nations of the world for hand outs; "Hast thou but one blessing" is their cry not to God, but to anyone that is silly enough to listen, and dumb enough to give to them. It is easier to go begging to daddy, then to humble yourself before God.

Poor Isaac has nothing left to give, for he has just given it all away to Jacob, just as Esau had done years early, yet he forgot he sold his own inheritance. Esau will not give the Creator, our Heavenly Father respect in any form, in love or even recognize that God even exists. How can there be any doubt that communism, and socialism is an atheistic society, and any moves in their direction, is a move to remove God from part of our lives. When a person or organization supports any part of the two, mark them well, for they are like Esau, in tune with Satan, they are ignorant of their words, and they will be accountable before God for what they do and say.

Genesis 27:39 "And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, "Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;"

If this sounds like it doesn't agree with the blessing of verse twenty eight to you then your right, for this blessing was given to Jacob, not Esau. The Kenite scribes twisted this around from the original Hebrew Massoretic text, for the word "of" is not even in the original text. The text should read "far away from the fatness of the earth shall be thy dwelling, and far away from the dew of the heavens," We have seen that Jacob has already received the blessings "of" the fatness of the earth, or land in verse 28. Thus, Esau as a nation is to be far from it.

Did we just change the Word of God? No! The translators of the King James allowed themselves to be intimidated by the writing of the Kenite scribes. Read I Chronicles 2:55; "And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez [Jerusalem]; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites, These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab." When the Jews came out of Babylon, the duties of records keeping was in the hands of the Kenites, the offspring of Satan, through Cain. Strong's Hebrew dictionary # 7014 identifies the origin of the race, while # 7017 tells us who they are.

Those who can trace it in the original manuscripts or allow someone who can, know the truth. Those who refuse to seek the truth, desire to remain in ignorance, and follow the teaching and mistranslation of the Kenites. When you desire to know the Word, it becomes important to have a copy of the Companion Bible, and the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance with numbered Hebrew and Greek dictionaries attached. Then you must learn to use them properly.

Is it any wonder that not one of Russia's many agricultural and farming programs have worked, and not only does she come to America and the Christian nations to buy, she can't even pay for what she gets. The Christian nation's taxpayers subsidizes most of the food that Russia and her allies eat.

This verse is not wrong in the manuscripts, it is just wrong in the King James version. This is pointed out in the Companion Bible version, page 40.

Genesis 27:40 "And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck."

This separation started and was fulfilled in II Kings 8:20, and also in II Chronicles 21:8-10. From this point in time to our current day, Esau [the Edomites, or Russians] are on their own. This will continue until Christ's return at the seventh trumpet, and they are slaughtered in the valley of Hamon-gog.

Genesis 27:41 "And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.

This shows some respect for only his father, however, there is no respect for his mother or those around him. He even acts as if there is no God. This attitude hasn't changed much even within his people.

Genesis 27:42 "And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, "Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee."

Rebekah was a very wise woman, and kept her ear open for what was going on. When she heard what Esau had said, she immediately warned Jacob. Esau is in a rage and he has threatened to kill Jacob. She made it her business to know the latest information, and God used Rebekah more in keeping the bloodline pure then He did Isaac. Mother Israel, Rebekah, made certain that God's word was kept, and the promises of father Abraham would continue.

Genesis 27:43 " Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; and arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran;"

Genesis 27:44 "And tarry with him a few days, until thy brother's fury turn away;"

Rebekah is sending Jacob to uncle Laban's house in Haran. This is the very family that Abraham came from, and selected Rebekah for his son Isaac.

Genesis 27:45 "Until thy brother's anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?"

This goes back Genesis 9:6; "Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made He man." So if Esau took Jacob's life, then the kinsman redeemer of Jacob would have to take Esau's life in that same day. There were no long trials and appeals to delay the process, as in the Kenite courts of today.

Genesis 27:46 "and Rebekah said to Isaac, "I am weary of my life because to the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these which are of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?"

Rebekah is calling Isaac's attention to the fact that if Jacob takes a wife as Esau did then she will consider her life a failure. She knows why it is important for Jacob to get the right wife, and for Jacob not to do so will be to fail God. Rebekah is determined that Jacob marry within their own people, and not of the heathen race of the Hittites [Heth]. Though Esau had no respect for the laws of marrying kind after kind, Rebekah knew and respected all of God's laws.

She knew that Christ would come through this lineage, and that it must be kept pure. This became her excuse and reason for sending Jacob away, and protecting her son. This is also Satan again trying to destroy the woman's seed that the Christ child would be born to. This is but another attempt. The first was when Eve was "wholly seduced" by Satan in the Garden of Eden. and from that seduction came "Cain". The offspring of "Cain" are called the Kenites. Following the murder of half brother Abel, Seth was born to continue the lineage.

Then in Chapter six, we see the fallen angels [sons of God] came to earth and married the daughters of men. From them came the Nephilim or Giants. The flood of Genesis seven [Noah's flood] was to destroy the polluted masses of half bread humanity, for of all the people of the earth, only Noah and his family were of a pure pedigree in their lineage.

So we see Rebekah is fully aware of God's laws, and the reason that it is important for Jacob to take a wife of their own family.
