transcription/ location is provided by http://www.theseason.org The word "Isaiah" means "the salvation of YHVH". That is to say, the salvation of God. Needless to say, Isaiah mentions the coming of Christ many times, and the events concerning His first advent. The book of Isaiah is quoted eighty five times in sixty one passages in the New Testament. Jesus quoted from Isaiah when He entered into the synagogue, opened the scroll and read part of Isaiah 61. This is the passage that revealed to us the great "gap" theory. That time missing from between the sixty-ninth and seventieth week of Daniel's prophecy of the coming of the Messiah to rule as King of kings and Lord of Lords. This period is what is referred to today as the time of grace. The book of Isaiah is one of the longest books in God's Word, and certainly the book of Isaiah had one author, and He was Almighty God. God used mortal man to bring forth this prophecy that reaches out and touches our generation considerably, and gives us an insight into the emotions of God. Through Isaiah we can see the feelings that our Heavenly Father has in relationship to His children. Isaiah 1:1 "The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah." This is a series of kings that reigned over the house of Judah at this period of time. This time frame was from 648 to 588 BC Isaiah 1:2 "Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against Me." God is speaking out and covering the entire universe, from heaven where God is, to the earth where all men and women reside. Our Heavenly Father nourished them by putting the spirit in man, and his soul into His children, and then He nourished them by giving them that protection when they asked for it. We can see God's emotions in this verse by relating it to a man who has children, and as the children are growing up they become disobedient and run away from home. The children refuse to listen to or love their own father. This is a very sad state of affairs. Not only did they go against God, but they rebelled against Him. Isaiah 1:3 "The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, My People doth not consider." The ox knows exactly who owns him, and the ass knows where to go to feed. God is saying that even the dumb animals know their master and where to go to eat and get protection. The dumb beasts even have feeling for the one that takes care of them, but My children don't even stop to consider Me. Most of God's children let days pass without even considering Him for a moment. The general thought today in most of our schools is that God just doesn't exist, but they teach that man came from the simple forms of animal life and evolved to our existence today. God is not happy when man turns against Him and turns to the their make-believe world. Isaiah 1:4 "Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evil doers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. These people that call themselves people of God, have forgotten their Heavenly Father. Spiritually they have just departed and left God completely out of their lives. In this "New Age Movement" we see a generation that is badly deceived by the philosophers and reasoners of men. The people of our generation today are completely ignorant of where their roots are, and they have no idea where they came from or who they are with respects to God's Word. They profess to know much in their human minds, thinking that in the short span of life they can figure out God and His universe and know the evolution of all life, and the heavenly bodies, yet they are blind to the trail of mankind down through the ages. They are blind to God's delivering of His entire people out of the hand of Pharaoh in Egypt, to this present time in history. Isaiah 1:5 "Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint." This is asking, "Why would God punish us anymore?" Then God gives the answer, it is that the leaders are sick in the head. With the judgments that we see them making today it is easy to see the truth in this statement. The church leaders have drifted so far from the truth into their traditions and fairy-tales that they have come to believe in their own stories and lies over the Word of Almighty God. The churches have turned away from God's Word and the prophet Isaiah is calling our attention to it. Stop and think for a moment on how things came to be the way that they are. There is nothing new under the sun, and if you think there is, you are blind to the past. Isaiah 1:6 "From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrefying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment." Spiritually God's people are a mess and there is no soundness in them. This is referring to both the house of Judah and the house of Israel. Their spiritual thought is like putrefying boils and bruises, and open sores that are open to whatever spiritual wickedness comes along. Their spiritual condition has crusted to the point where the soothing ointment of God's Word simply cannot soften their hearts to receive the truth. They are sick spiritually from the sole of their feet, to the top of their head. We are talking about the general people that have come to the age of being biblically illiterate. They are walking in the direction opposite to our heavenly Father, and away from the principles that our nation has stood on for the past two hundred years. Isaiah 1:7 "Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers." Stop and look around today, your cities are on fire with hatred and violence, and our children are killing each other through drugs and aggression against each other. By our opening the flood gates to trade, our cities and people are becoming desolate. Our productivity has drifted to heathen nations, as the strangers, the Kenites are overthrowing our nation, and turning things that are decent into spiritual wickedness. Friend, the one world trade system is on us and it is reducing our living standards, as well as spiritual condition to that of a second and third world nation. We are being stripped of much of our wealth, and many well paying jobs are being taken over by the influx of these "strangers". God is preparing us for the one world system that is upon us, yet most Christians today simply cannot relate this to the prophecies of God's warnings in His Word. It is no great mystery what is happening. Foreign nations cannot afford our goods, and we keep paying these Kenite strangers outlandish prices for their junk brought to us. We are wasting the blessings that God has given our nation, because the Christians of today don't even know that they are the people of blessing under God's covenant with Abraham. There is nothing wrong with fair trade agreements, yet our leaders have rapped our nation with these unequal trade agreements. They have been bought off by the Kenites, and foreign nations and have turned their backs on their own families. It seems that our leaders would wake up to the unfair trade policies, such as Japan and China as well as many other nations flooding our shores with their cheep junk, absorbing the wealth of our nation. God's word is true and fitting to our nation at this time. Isaiah 1:8 "And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city." God is saying that the daughter of Zion has become a little shanty out in the orchard. We are getting ripped off right and left, from all sides. We have allowed ourselves to let the Kenites and foreigners to come in and take over our lands, and change our laws and religious freedoms to where we have become a besieged city. The wealth that has left the boundaries of Christian nations to the nations that despise God, as well as that stolen by the Kenite courts, it would stagger your imagination. Even though this is happening to our nation and those around us, our Heavenly Father expects us to use common sense, and the guidance of His Word for our own protection. When we turn to Him, we will receive blessings from whom all blessings flow. Isaiah 1:9 "Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah." Unless God has left a little common sense in some people, we would become just as Sodom and Gomorrah became. Do you know what happened there? Those people became so ungodly and sinful in their Sodomy that their filthy acts became common to all its people, and God destroyed all the people of those cities. They changed that which was natural to that which is unnatural in their sex life. Toady we call it homosexual life style, and God hates it, and those that believe that it is alright are only deceiving themselves. There was a small remnant that held to purity and the order that God gave was that is remnant was to be saved. That remnant was Lot and his two daughters. God destroyed both these cities and turned them and all the people in them to salt. God is saying if it wasn't for a small remnant living amongst you, I would do to you like I did to Sodom and Gomorrah. Isaiah 1:10 "Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah." When you stop and look around our nation today, what went on in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah is considered normal today in most areas of our nation. Our laws are being change to protect the very ones that God hates and once destroyed. These people with their evil acts are even in many churches, many so called Christian pastors cater to these Sodomites need's, without condemning the act as the defiled sinful act that it is. Isaiah 1:11 " "To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto Me?" saith the Lord: "I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs or of he goats." " What is the purpose of your lip service unto God? Stop and look at the people playing church that is going on today. Christians claim to love our heavenly Father, yet they refuse to study His Word, and do what God expects of them. God is telling you, He doesn't want your burnt offerings and sacrifices, He wants your love. He is our Heavenly Father and He wants our love and respect in obedience. That is what the name "Isaiah" means, "The salvation of Yah"; Yahaveh that would come and pay the price for our sins for one and all times to do away with the daily oblation. Isaiah 1:12 "When ye come to appear before Me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread My courts?" When you are biblically illiterate, and you don't know the laws, orders and commandments that I have given to you, then I will treat you as Sodom and Gomorrah. This is going back to the subject of verse ten. Now God is asking you, Who asked you to play church? This is directed to those self-appointed teachers and preachers of God who talk out of their mouth, and not from the Word of God. You can tell them by the subject matter of their sermons. God is telling us to be aware of those that tell you that they are called from God on a mission, for they are called only for their own mission. Those that are called of God are called for a direct purpose, and they stick to that purpose that relates to God's Word. Isaiah 1:13 "Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto Me; the new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting." God tells you right here what He thinks of all those rituals and man made traditions and customs that go against His Word. He is against these large church assemblies where the people get together and are void of His Word. They come together for their traditions, and very religious forms of meetings, and leave His Word out of their gatherings. They are an abomination in His sight. This is serious and you can see the pain that our Father has against these sessions. When Christ went to the cross, He became our Passover. He became the lamb slain for the sins of those that would repent for all times. Christ became our feast days and our new moons that we are to respect, and yet today the religious world has substituted heathen holidays for the most sacred day of the year. They have substituted the feast of "Ishtar" or Easter for Passover, and have promoted all sorts of heathen ritual and custom for the blood of Christ shed on the cross for our sins. Those customs that are made religious have nothing to do with God's Word, for it is heathenish worked into their way of worship. Isaiah 1:14 "Your new moons and your appointed feasts My soul hateth: they are a trouble unto Me; I am weary to bear them." Our heavenly Father is saying He is sick of all the garbage that goes on in His name. If you want our Father's blessings, I would be very careful as to what I did with God's appointed times and new moons. Do you know what was done on the Passover each year? God's Word was read, and the readings went on for hours. That is what you did to celebrate the new moons and Passover. So what do they do today to celebrate at your place of worship? That is for you to answer and become aware of on those special feat days. Isaiah 1:15 "And when ye spread forth you hands, I will hide Mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood." God is saying that when you neglect His days and His ways He is going to hide himself from you. This is looking forward to the time when all those Christians that think they are worshipping God get tangled in that web that will draw them into the false messiah's religious system. Church has become a place for the car dealer to peddle his cars, and the insurance salesman to fill his quotas, and what ever line of business they happen to be in, it has become a place of commerce. Not much has changed since the day when Jesus overturned the money changers tables, and threw out the mite invested birds from His Father's house. This is why God hateth your new moons and Sabbaths, for they are not given to Him, but for your own selfish needs. Isaiah 1:16 "Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before Mine eyes; cease to do evil;" Do you want His blessings to fall upon your family? When you do the things that please yourself and not God, then you are on your own. If you happen to be biblically illiterate it is pretty hard to wash yourself and make yourself clean. When you are blind to God's Word how can you even know what is evil and what is acceptable in God's sight. It requires study of His Word to know good from evil, and today there are many things taught in so-called Christian churches that are evil and blasphemous to God, yet those hireling pastors pass it off on you as something holy. Friend, this is directed only to you personally, for what the others do or do not do is none of your concern. If you want the blessing from God, then you will learn what God desires and do it. If you are a crowd pleaser then don't expect God to pour out blessings on you or your family. This is a "one on one" personal thing between you and God. If you have a strict Bible teaching church then hang on to it: One where the pastor takes the time to know the meanings and teaches it line by line and chapter by chapter. Isaiah 1:17 "Learn to do well: seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow." This looks on to that end time in Revelation 18:7 "How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, "I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow." " This old whore queen is married to the false Christ and is doomed, and yet she doesn't know that commitment she has made to the wrong Christ. She thinks she belongs to a great church, yet she is not familiar with God's Word and thinks she has been taken by the true Christ. The traditions have taught her to be received by the "instead of Christ" [Antichrist] in their rapture doctrines, and songs looking for a fly away that will not come. Those that leave our Heavenly Father in this new age movement, will have a temporary father for five months, then he [Satan] goes into the pit, and you will see the shame that comes by being deceived when our Lord Jesus Christ comes at the seventh trumpet. Remember that Satan comes at the sixth trumpet, and Jesus Christ comes at the seventh and last trumpet. You will not see Christ in your flesh body, for at His coming all flesh is changed into their incorruptible bodies, so pinch yourself when you think you see Christ, and if it hurts and has feelings, that one is a fake. Isaiah 1:18 " "Come now, and let us reason together," saith the Lord: "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." God is saying that if you will listen to Me then your sins will be forgiven. God doesn't need to know any reasoning that you have in your mind, however, you need to know what God has on His Mind. God is telling you to come to His holy Word and reason or consider it, as was stated in verses two and three. Think of the formation of the Word and the times you are living in, and the people of God and the instruction which God is given to us. Think of those that wander off into their own man made religious forms and what God has to say about them. Think on the matters dealing with His laws and commandments, which we are instructed to follow to give our life order in the sight of both man and God. These are all part of what we are to reason and consider when studying His Word. You will all come together when each is studying the Word, and cleaning up your lives in accordance with God's instructions. Friend, it doesn't matter how bad your sins are, the crimson blood that flowed from Christ's body can cleanse the most wicked life and evil sin committed once it is repented of in Jesus Name. Though your sins be so wicked, even to the point of Sodomy and murder, when you come to Him, He is willing to forgive because you are His child. The responsibility that you have to others is to tell those wicked spiritually dead people of the love of God and the forgiveness that there is at the cross of Christ, and then their sins are upon their own heads. When you turn to Christ, He will help you in whatever needs and sin problem you have. He will help you over and over, even in the same problem, when you reach out to Jesus in belief and repentance. God is your Father, and you are part of His family when you become saved, and God know of the trouble that you are in, even before you do. He understands you, and your problem, and that is why it is essential to ask for His help. A father never walks away from his children when they are in trouble, and neither will our Heavenly Father. Our Heavenly Father is very patient and longsuffering, and not willing that any should perish, but the decision of whether you get God's help is up to you, not God. He has given you free will, and you must choose Him before He will assist you. When you choose Christ, then you come under all His promises given in His Word, and God fulfills all of His promises. It is God's Holy Spirit then that will make you white as snow and that means pure before Him. This is a personal individual act that comes only from within your own heart and mind, and as you come to understand God's likes and dislikes and adjust to them, His entire Word will become a personal guide to you. Then when you reach out to God in time of need, even when you are in the most hard-core sinful acts, it is like getting help from a friend. He will touch you and make Himself real to you and you will feel God's love for you. Isaiah 1:19 "If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat of the good of the land:" This is a promise direct from God to you personally. If you personally are willing and obedient to the instructions that God has given you in His Word, God is telling you that He will most definitely bless you. This is not directed to the church, but the individual. This is a personal letter of promise from our Father in heaven to each of us, and the only one that matters is the one living in your physical body, and that is you. God is asking for your love and obedience to Him, and if you are willing to live and show that love to Him, then He will give to you the best of land. You cannot be obedient to something unless you come to know what you are required to do. There is no way that you can become obedient and remain biblically ignorant. Friend, it requires study using the proper tools to understand what you are reading. Those tools include a good Hebrew and Greek dictionary, with numbered concordance, and Strongs is the best. It also requires a good bible, and I feel that the Companion Bible, with its notes to the Massorah, and 198 Appendixes give the student the best reference to understanding God's Word to where we can be obedient to Him. Then once we understand His Word, we can "be willing" to meet God's wishes for our life. Isaiah 1:20 "But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." This is also personal from God to you directly. That sword from the mouth of the Lord, is the Word of God. God is reminding you that if you refuse to do those things that is expected of you, and in disobedience go against His Word, the curses of His Word will be upon you directly. This is just as much of a promise to you as the promises of God blessings when you do things in accordance to His Word. This sword is the same sword as mentioned in Revelation 1:16 "And He had in His right hand seven stars: and out of His mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and His countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength." God's Word cuts both ways, and the choice again is yours whether you will take the truth and follow it and be happy, or refuse the truth and be rebellious, and be devoured by the other edge of that twoedged sword. Isaiah 1:21 "How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers." This is referring to a time coming very shortly, when the Antichrist will come and sit in Jerusalem, and rule his religious world wide system from that location. The people of god, both Christians and Jews will become an harlot to Satan the Antichrist that will be deceived by him. Jesus identified who these murderers are in John 8:44. John 8:43 "Why do ye not understand My speech? even because ye cannot hear My word." John 8:44 "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." Those offspring of the devil are to say the offspring of Cain, and the Kenites. This is then a warning to us today as to who will be ruling this one world system when the Antichrist comes to take up his position in Jerusalem. It is the offspring of these same murderers that Jesus was identifying in John 8:44; the Kenites, those that call themselves of Judah, but lie and are of the synagogue of Satan. There were only two of the seven churches of the end times that were aware of the Kenites, and they were the churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia. Revelation 3:8 "I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept My word, and hast not denied My name." The Smyrna church knew the lies of the Kenites when these people came into their church and tried to substitute their traditions and doctrines for the Word of God. Revelation 3:9 "Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee." These people that call themselves Jews and are not, are the Kenites that represent themselves as God's chosen, when in fact the are children of Satan that has come in to pervert God's Word and make it void through their traditions. Revelation 3:10 "Because thou hast kept the Word of My patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth." If you don't know who and what the Kenites are, you will be lead by them right into Satan’s one world religious system. That hour of temptation is what we call the great tribulation, which is the six events that will come upon the earth through Satan's deceptions by his supernatural powers. It is coming and you will be sealed in your mind of the truth and not be tempted, or you will become part of Satan's harlot church. So Isaiah is giving to a in the prophetic sense what is going to happen when Satan is here on earth, and ruling from the same mountain where Jesus Christ will later rule from, in Jerusalem. That is why we are to keep focused on Jerusalem, for it is from Jerusalem that the temptations or deceptions will deceive the peoples of the earth. II Thessalonians 2:3 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition," II Thessalonians 2:4 "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the Temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." Satan is the "man of sin" that will be revealed, and he is the "son of perdition". It is Satan that will sit in Jerusalem and declare himself to be God, and in ignorance even most of those that call themselves Christians will worship him. We will continue with what happens in this city that is calling themselves "the harlot", the Babylon of the end times, which is Jerusalem. That description is written of in Revelation 17. "Babylon" means "confusion", and it is the confusion that exists in the minds of those that are ignorant to the Word of God. Isaiah 1:22 "Thy silver is become dross, they wine mixed with water:" This is to say that every thing that is real about the city is polluted. The "wine" of the word is the truth of Jesus Christ, and the Word of God, and it will become polluted with the doctrines to where there is nothing but confusion left. The "wine" is symbolic of the bloodshed of Christ that forgives our sins, and set us free from them. That wine when fermented is that which throws off all impurities, it keeps the juices from becoming polluted. Remember that the subject of this entire chapter is "the salvation of Yahaveh", the "Salvation of Jesus Christ". Silver is a beautiful metal after the slag and dross is heated to refine, and the impurities are taken away. God is saying, instead of having the wealth of silver, the purity of the truth, all you have now is just the old dross, which is good for nothing. The dross is the filthy burned rock that is left over after it has been removed from the purity of the silver. Isaiah 1:23 "Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them." Your rulers are rebellious and unruly, they live for their bribes and self, and could care less about you. We are looking to that city of Jerusalem, which is "Mystery Babylon" of the book of Revelation, and naturally it is the place where the false messiah and the false salvation will come from. Stop and look around you today, what are both the religious and the political leaders saying about the Jews and Jerusalem today? Is there any mention of the Kenites in their warnings today, or are they giving aid and comfort to those setting up the religious kingdom that will be here shortly. We see most every national leader is lining up on the side of Jerusalem and the Kenites that are in charge there, and calling them "God's chosen people", when in fact they are the an infiltration into the house of Judah, and not of God, but of their father Satan, through Cain. Isaiah 1:24 "Therefore saith THE LORD, the Lord of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, "Ah, I will ease Me of Mine adversaries, and avenge Me of Mine enemies:" God is saying that He is getting tired of seeing these adversaries getting their strongholds. God is promising that He is going to do away with them. The only ones that have fear over these words are those that consider themselves to be His enemy. Are you an enemy of God? I hope not. God has told you who His enemies are, those that will set up this system for their father Satan in Jerusalem called the Kenites, so how do you look at those people today? Do you even know the difference between the Kenites and the true "brother Judah"? If you love the Lord and follow His Word, you have nothing to worry about, for as we saw in verse nineteen, if you love God and "be willing and obedient [to God's Word], ye shall eat of the good of the land." Isaiah 1:25 "And I will turn My hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin." God is talking to His enemies here that if they will turn to Him in repentance and belief in His Son Jesus Christ, He will purge those wicked things form their lives. God is going to get down to His pure silver, which is to say, God's elect. Isaiah 1:26 "And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counselors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, the city of righteousness, the faithful city." This is in the future sense now. The time is coming when God will restore Jerusalem back to its position of righteousness. He will purge all the evil of Satan, and his entire system of deception and idolatry. We read of this time in Ezekiel 44, where it describes what will take place during the Millennium age. These counselors are put back in place, and they are the priests of the elect [the Zadok, in the Hebrew tongue] of God. This happens when the true Prince, Jesus Christ has returned to this earth to set up his Millennium kingdom. Ezekiel 44:23 "And they shall teach My People the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean." This is to say God's elect will teach the people. Ezekiel 44:24 "And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to My judgments: and they shall keep My laws and My statutes in all Mine assemblies; and they shall hallow My Sabbaths." God is saying that He will restore the judges that were and are fair. The judges of the Millennium will be fair in all their judgments with absolutely no crooked judges that can be bribed, or rule by personal emotions. Those judgment will be in accordance with God's Holy Word, and those judges will enforce the holy things that Christ will set aside. This is a promise of the future time, when Satan and his evil is past and gone, and we are in the time of the Millennium age. It is the time of restoration. But remember that God has promised you that you can make your personal reformation right now today in the flesh. It is up to you whether you choose to follow His counsel for His Word, or stray off after other doctrines. If you follow Him, He promised that you will live from the good of the land. Isaiah 1:27 "Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness." Those that have been redeemed with judgment, are God's elect, that were chosen and predestinated from the first earth age [foundation of the world], as well as the converts of this earth age, that believe on Jesus Christ, and through repentance have become righteous through the blood of Christ. Isaiah 1:28 "And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the Lord shall be consumed." This is the transgressors or rebels, that we spoke of in the twenty third verse. This relates back to Deuteronomy 4:24 "(For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God)." God is a consuming fire, and His very presents destroys that which is evil and wicked. Isaiah 1:29 "For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen." Those that are ignorant of God's Word are going to be ashamed of what they have placed their strength and protection in. "Oaks" is in reference to "grove worship" better known as altars to baal. Today it is those religious things that are contrary to the word of God, but sound so good and beautiful. It is those forms of heathenisms that most churches have allowed to slip into their practices, and they are proud of their traditions and customs. All this shows just how biblically illiterate this world has become. Their "gardens are their fenced in areas that they hold dear, and those areas are going to become confounded, or bring a reproach upon them. Once Jesus Christ returns to this earth, and they see the fools that Satan has played them for, and the Kenites and their religious leaders have led them into they will be very ashamed at their ignorance and worship of the wrong Christ. Isaiah 1:30 "For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water." God is warning you that you had better come out of that grove worship, and start worshipping Me. Those leafs of false doctrine will fade away, and just will not see you to the end of this earth age. The leaves of an oak get all dried and brown when lightning strikes the tree, or the end of the season for bearing is over. When the tree is dried up, and no water is present, it stops giving of the life giving oxygen, and is good only to burn. God is saying that that is what is going to happen to you when you turn to false religions, and open yourself up to heathen doctrine. We are to worship Yahaveh the only living and true God. Isaiah 1:31 "And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them." The "tow" is just a plain wick, that brings the oil for the lantern up to the flame and keeps the light burning. God is telling you that you are the wick in the lantern that brings the oil of truth to other people, and He is the spark that starts the fire, and causes that fire to burn and give off light. Our God is a consuming fire, and He is returning, and He told you in detail before hand of exactly what will happen before His return. Though we have in hand the record of tomorrows events, the people of today just don't care to understand what shall happen to them. Though many would like to strive to understand the truth, they just don't care to cause conflict between them and their families, and the pressures of going against their church systems. Friend, any traditions that are based on man made ideas, God is going to put to the test, and those same ideas will consume those that desire to separate themselves from God's Word. When God's spark lights their fire, they shall be consumed by it. In a sense that is what judgment is, that when you fall short of His instruction, you are to repent in Jesus name. That is why our Heavenly Father sent His Son into the World, so that each person through Him might be saved.
