Isaiah

Chapter 12

Exodus15:1-21
And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron,
took a timbrel in her hand;
and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.
And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD,
for he hath triumphed gloriously;
the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

[This eleventh chapter closes with a reference to the deliverance of the nation from the oppression of the Egyptians. That deliverance was celebrated with a beautiful ode, which was sung by Miriam and `all the women, ' who `went out after her with timbrels and with dances' Exodus 1-21]

Chapter 12

"Praise for Yehovah's Deliverance."

Though no one knows the mind of God, He gives us types to let us know how things shall be in our generation. In chapters nine and ten, He let us know that this "Assyrian" which was a type for Satan, of Antichrist, and that this one is coming to earth. Though it was history of what has happened, God gives us this as an example to prepare for what we shall see. It was an event that God said will happen again in the end times. That is why it is written in the Book of Ecclesiastes, there is nothing new under the sun;

Ecclesiastes 1:9 "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun."

Ecclesiastes 1:10 "Is there any thing whereof it may be said, 'See this is new?' it hath been already of old time, which was before us."

Paul said about the same thing in I Corinthians 10:11, 12:

I Corinthians 10:11, 12 "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall."

These things that happened to the House of Israel by the Assyrian, whereby the people were led into traditions and idolatry, happened to let us know exactly what would befall us at the end of this world age.

Then in the eleventh chapter God goes to the point in the Millennium age, to show that both animal and man are changed into that new body. Call it a spiritual body, and in that new body it is obvious that there will be no flesh eaters and even the lion will eat straw like a cow. We know that this time of peace has not come to pass yet. So we know that the eleventh chapter of Isaiah has not been fulfilled. We are reviewing this to jog our memories to let us know that the end has not arrived, so that we shall not be deceived at the coming of the Antichrist. This is another test to let us know that the first christ is not the true Christ, for if your pet dog still like to eat the flesh meat set before him, you know that you are not in the Millennium age.

At the coming of the true Christ, He has told us how He is going to punish the ones that were deceived, and eliminate everything that is wicked and idolatrous upon the earth. He told us how He will love and protect His own at the close of this earth age, and that we don't have anything to be afraid of. We have His Word to give us knowledge, wisdom, and counsel that will give us peace of mind. So after God has told us how He will bring all to pass at the end of this age, we will now see how it shall be in the Millennium age.

Isaiah 12:1 "And in that day thou shalt say, "O Lord, I will praise Thee: though Thou wast angry with me, Thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me."

On the first day of the Millennium age, all souls will be changed into their incorruptable bodies, and every knee will bow to Jesus Christ. Those that were deceived will then have the opportunity to know the truth. Remember that on this day of His return, He will not be pleased with those of His wife that went whoring in ignorance after the wrong husband. However that anger of Christ's anger be turned away, for there will be great sorrow and shame in the minds of those of His bride that have committed such acts. God is a jealous God, but He is saying here that that time is over.

Isaiah 12:2 "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for THE LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation."

"Behold", or stop and think for a moment; God is my salvation. There is no other salvation, other then the salvation that is given by the Father in the name of His Son Jesus Christ. None!

"I will trust", or confide in Jesus Christ and not be afraid, and you don't have to be afraid when you can confide in Him for your counsel. When you are yoked to Christ, then He becomes your strength and the load is never more that you and carry yourself. On that first day of the Millennium the cares of this flesh body are over, and the pressures that the world can put on you will be gone. All cares of the flesh is past, and my friend, it is time to sing praises unto the Lord of hosts. I hope you can say today that the Lord Jehovah has become your salvation.

The word "Lord" as used here, in the Hebrew text is "Yaw", and is from # 3050 in Strong's Hebrew Dictionary. This "Yaw" means the same as His sacred name "YHVH". It is from this prime that we get # 3068 "Yehoveh, yeh-ho-vah', meaning self-Existent, Eternal, Jevoah." When Moses said on mount Siani, "When I go down there to the people, who am I going to say told me to do these things?" God said, "Tell them "Yaw" did it." Here in Isaiah 12:2; this is one of four places in the Bible where the name "JEHOVAH" is being transliterated instead of translated.

The problem with transliteration is that people change the name to their liking, rather then using the name that God said to use "Yaw", or "YHVH" in the Hebrew tongue. So we see that "Lord Jehovah" just doesn't say what is really said there in the Hebrew text.

Isaiah 12:3 "Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation."

Remember the rock in the wilderness, when the children of Israel were wandering for the forty years. The "rock" brought forth plenty of water for all the people. Well salvation is broght forth from that Rock, and that rock is Christ. That is what salvation is. It comes from the Father, through the blood of Jesus Christ.

This word for "Salvation" in the Hebrew text is # 3444 in the Strong's Hebrew Dictionary; "Yeshuw'ah, yesh-oo-aw, abstractly something saved, i.e. deliverance; hense victory property, health, saving, welfare." in the prime it means to be free.

It is from this Hebrew word for "salvation" that we get Jesus name in the Greek. We are studing the Book of Isaiah, so lets go to Strong's Hebrew Dictionary again # 3470 to get the meaning of the Word "Isaiah" in it's Hebrew form. "Yesha'yah, yesh-ah-yaw', Jah [Yaw] has saved." The name is derived from the prime form of Yaw. So as we are studing in this book of Isaiah, the underlining title is "Yaw has saved". Friend this is in the past tense, for when Christ went to the cross He paid the full price for your sins. In other words, if you have accepted Jesus "Yesha'yah", and you love "Yaw" the Father, then Salvation has already come, if you believe Him. When we see how names do have a meaning, then the verses come alive so much more.

Isaiah 12:4 "And in that day shall ye say, "Praise the Lord, call upon His name, declare His doings among the people, make mention that His name is exalted."

Remember "that day" is the first day of the Millennium age, and on that day all the people will sing praises to YHVH not Jehovah, they will praise the true Lord God, and know His Holy name. They will praise Him in the language that He spoke it in. However when you call on the name of the Father, He understands you in what ever language you speak to Him in.

When you declare His doings among the people then the rest of the people know that they can be saved also. We will make mention that His name is exalted, because He is the supreme being, above all. He is our creator, and deserving of our love and service to Him. We are created for His pleasure, and not the other way around as is commonly taught today. God's greatness speaks for itself. All blessings that you have comes from God.

Isaiah 12:5 "Sing unto the Lord; for He hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth."

God's greatness covers not only the earth but the entire universe. We can see his handiworks in the smallest atom, with all its particals and forces at work, to the entire universe. God set the stars in place, the planets in orbit, and marked the sky with his eternal plan through the constellations, and other heavenly markings. There is no where on the face of the earth that God's truth cannot be seen by man. Even in the new technologies God's Word can be found and presented clearly around the world.

Isaiah 12:6 "Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.' "

This time of the Millennium will be a time when all men will shout the greatness of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a ball team wins a game they run through the streets shouting and crying aloud the greatness of their team. When we won the war in World War II, the nation was wild for months as to the victory we had over our enemies. Friend, When Christ returns at the sounding of the seventh and last trumpet, and we are changed instantly into our new spiritual bodies, there will be a shout for victory like never before, because we will have victory over all evil, including the Devil and all his realm.

In that day our minds will be clear and full of understanding, and we will see exactly how things are, when all evil is removed from the face of the earth, and there is nothing to hinder our knowledge. This will not happen in heaven, but right here on earth. "For the Holy One of Israel" who is Jesus Christ will be here in our presence, and the entire world will see and know who He is. The stuper, of spirit of slumber will be taken from their spiritual eyes and all people will bow in praise and worship at His Greatness.
