Isaiah 62:1 "For Zion's sake will I not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth."

"Zion" is the place that God's throne will be placed here on earth. This is the place where God married it, and declared it to be His city, and where Jesus Christ will rule from when He comes back to earth to set up His kingdom. God made an eternal covenant with Mount Zion, and that is also where He shall return. Ezekiel 16:1-8 describes how Jerusalem's birth was in the land of the Canaanites, and the ones [mother] that brought her into existance were the Jebusites, a people of the Hittites. David took the city and cleaned it up, and renamed it Jerusalem, and God fell in love with the city and it's name became known as "Jerusalem".

Ezekiel 16:8 "Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine."

To "spread My skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness" is to commit to one in marriage, and God committed to this city of Jerusalem His love and commitment through this eternal covenant. This is the reason that it is absolute that upon Christ's return, it is where He shall return and claim for Himself.

God is telling us that He is not going to wait forever to return and claim what is rightfully His, and take Zion and Jerusalem back to Himself. That is what His covenant declared in Ezekiel 16:60, where even though Jerusalem had become (and will be in the near future), the city of many abominations like Sodom, (when Satan comes to declare Himself to be God), the people of the world believe Him, will be re-established.

Ezekiel 16:60 "Nevertheless I will remember My coveanant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant."

In the Millennium age, God will reestablish this covenant that He has made with Jerusalem and the promises will be eternal.

Ezekiel 16:61 "Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant."

God is stating that they should have known better. He said: "I have trusted you with the Holy Scriptures, and my most sacred places, and you did not keep My trust." In other words, you did not teach the Word as it was given to you, and you withheld the truths from God's people. Those that knew the Word, and kept silent and sat back will be ashamed of their actions. This then is addressed to the priests and ministers, and not to the lay persons. We are told in Ezekiel 34:1-16 what God will do with these false ministers or shepherds upon His return.

Ezekiel 16:62 "And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shall know that I am the LORD."

In the Millennium Age Jesus Christ will take back Jerusalem and re-establish this covenant by setting up His Kingdom temple, and fulfilling all the promises stated in His Word. Even today, don't think that God is resting even for one moment as evil is flooding the world, and preparing the way for Satan's, "the instead of Christ" coming. Even in the greatest times of Satan's deception, God has His elect, those with the Word of God stored and sealed in their minds that shall be witness for Him.

Isaiah 62:2 "And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name."

On the first day of this Millennium Age the nations and peoples shall see thy righteousness, and behold the glory of Jesus Christ. God is stating that on that day He is going to establish a new name for His people, those that were not deceived by Satan.

Isaiah 62:3 "Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God."

In the Hebrew text it is "atarah" a "bridal crown". That bridal crown is "Salvation". It is awesome that our Heavenly Father would look to each of us that are as nothing in the scope of His universe, and place each of those that love Him as royality in His sight. After all, He is the King and if we are His child then that is as it should be.

Isaiah 62:4 "Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married."

"Hephzibah" means "My delight is in her", and is in reference to the marriage. Within the new name is stating that Jesus Christ is pleased with you. The name "Beulah" means "married" in the Hebrew tongue, and the land that God holds dear will be joined unto Him. There is a wedding coming very soon, and God shall rename those that love Him and have not taken another husband to wed prior to that day. Quite obviously God is not going to rename those that don't love Him enough to read and study His Word to know the difference between the True Christ and the fake, who is Satan. Those that take the mark of the beast will not even be a delight to be around.

Isaiah 62:5 "For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee."

"A virgin" spiritually speaking is one that is pure and has not worshipped the false Christ in any manner. God is telling us how His emotions will be over His new bride when He returns, and comparing it to a young man that has just taken his pure new bride to wife. You can see the pride and love and gleam in the eyes of the new husband for his love. This is how it shall be when Jesus Christ returns to claim those that are His bride.

There is a wedding coming, and the only way to become part of that wedding is by joining yourself to Christ through repentance. If you are not part of that wedding and living in this age, you are in bad shape. Your invitation to that wedding is called "the Word of God". Many that have the wedding invitation in hand forget that it is an RSVP, and you must give a response to the invitation! It requires a commitment on your part, and there are conditions for the acceptance. You have to let God know whether or not you intend to be there; there is a wedding coming and all those that plan on being there are getting themselves ready to be there.

At that wedding you just don't pop in off the street, but there is preparation to be made for that wedding. There is another man that shall come before that wedding takes place, and he is going to try to lure and deceive you into believing he is your husband, he shall be a fake. Can you tell the True husband from the fake? Well if you cannot, you will be taken by the fake, or counterfeit husband. Satan is the fake husband, and he is coming first and God has warned us of this in His Word, or invitation, that another would be coming before His return. He warned us so that we are not deceived into the wrong marriage. Are you prepared to know the difference between the two Christs and the two marriages, and which comes first?

Friend, there is no expense involved in our marriage to Jesus Christ, for He paid the full price with His blood on the cross at Calvary. The only requirement is that you love Him enough that you will prepare yourself for that wedding. He wants your love, and love is what builds a strong marriage. Get that invitation out and become familiar with it, for the wedding time is drawing near. We are to read the instructions as to how to be the bride of Christ. A lack of understanding can make you unqualified for Christ's wedding.

Isaiah 62:6 "I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day or night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,"

This continues with the thought of the restoration. This is addressed to God's "elect" who are the watchmen on the walls. Watching for the coming of the enemy so that they can sound the alarm. Remember a few chapters back we read of those watchmen in the latter days that were like dogs that would never bark? We learned that they were too lazy to lift their heads to see what was going on around them, and so when the enemy came, they just laid there and slept. Those sleeping watchman are satisfied to take their bone and and accepth their salary, and given out the words that soothe the flock.

What God is saying to each of us, is that we do not keep silent. As we teach and instruct, we are to document in God's Word what we believe, and of course at the same time, we are to use discretion in all things to protect our own credibility. For instance, we are to document those things for ourselves the things we believe in. We have need to be used to basing everything that we believe on what the Word of God has to say about it. This is because His Word is the only standard that we should go by. Ask the Father for clarity when something from His Word is unclear, and then when it is clear don't remain silent in the matter but tell others. Be willing to plant the seed of truth whenever or wherever the time and place permits. Then, once you have planted the seed, watch the seed grow as the Holy Sirit works in the mind of that person.

Isaiah 62:7 "And give Him no rest, till He establish, and till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth."

God is telling you to keep on reminding me of those things that I have promised you, i.e., "I like you to keep on bringing them up". Remind me that you are anxious for my return, for it is like the bride telling the groom that she is anxious for His return. Just as you are looking so very forward to His return and the day that you will be with Him. Naturally God is telling us that He is looking forward to being with us, just like we desire His presence.

Isaiah 62:8 "The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:"

This tells us God's way of doing things. Those that will not work, and expect to eat off someone else's labors, will not be part of the marriage. Politically speaking today, it is the liberal way of doing things. You buy votes by giving another man's money to buy the vote. This is not talking about the handicapped, but those who are just not willing to work and expect the government to give all their provisions. God is saying that in this Millennium Age is coming the wealth of your inheritance, which is yours to keep. There will be no taxation to steal your money away or to be divided amongst the undeserving. Your inheritance is yours to keep and there is no one that shall take it from you.

The wealth that you obtain is built up by hard work. After you die, your offspring can lose the inheritance that you left them overnight if they are not protective of that inheritance. There are many people today that plan their livelihood and wealth by living off of what other people have obtained in their inheritance. God states through Paul in his letter II Thessalonians 3:10; "For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat." That is God's way, and this is not refering to the handicapped. In the eternity there will be no living off another man's vine. There can be no dignity in a family that lives off other people's money. And when people have been in this condition for so long they grow numb to their own condition, and then they become "poor me babies". They begin to find joy in wallowing in their own self pity. In the Millennium Age, there will be no handicapped, or people that won't be able to take care of themselves, for all souls will be in their incorruptible bodies.

Isaiah 62:9 "But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness."

In the Millennium Age you will keep what rightfully belongs to you, and you will not have to put up with those "poor me babies" that want to live off other people's money. The reason that you will be able to drink what is yours and not have to worry about others taking it from you, is that they will not be there. The intent of what you do has a lot to do with your making it to heaven. If you have no dignity and pride within yourself, then how could you have the dignity and pride for our heavenly Father that has given you instructions to be otherwise? This is stated to put drive back into those that have become a little lazy, and try to live by making alibis for their failures.

Isaiah 62:10 "Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the People; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the People."

This then is a new thought, and it is telling you and I, to show the people the way that His Word teaches us. Bring that way up to the point of understanding to where it is easy for others to understand how they are to walk in His Word. When you see there are some that are in the paths of others, make an effort to kick those stones out of their way, so that they can walk in that path. We are to lift up that standard which is Jesus Christ, who is "the Word" that directs you even in this generation. We follow that standard by doing the things that His Word teaches, and when we sin and fall short, we repent of that sin and put it behind us.

Know who you are; your a child of the King, and that is royalty. Your inheritance is all the promises that are contained in His Word that are direct to those that are His children. Once you know the instruction from His Word, you don't need to be taken advantage by the men of this world that use their traditions to brow beat you,and take your money. You go through the gates when you know the truths of His Word, and follow them as road map directs you from one point to another. You allow the Scriptures to give you the knowledge that will make you successful no matter where you go.

Isaiah 62:11 "Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, "Say ye to the daughter of Zion, `Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.' "

God is letting us know that what He has proclaimed is true and shall come to pass, even to the end of this world age, and into the Millennium. The "work" mentioned here is His "recompense" or rewards and wages that He has promised to those that do the work for Him. When Jesus Christ comes and brings His salvation with Him, every reward and part of your inheritance will be given exactly as He has promised you. Those that have not been silent in this time and generation of deception, will be well rewarded for their obedience to His Word. When Christ comes in the second advent, He will bring His recompense with Him. Now consider this, How much does He owe you?

That is part of judgment. He is asking you to consider this matter. Judgment is just as much the giving of rewards as it is condemning souls to hell for their works and rejection of His Son. It is a pretty short minded person that works hard for wages, and then doesn't look forward to payday when he can go out and take advantages of the wages he has earned. This is why God is telling you to consider the wages [recompense] that is due you, for when you do, you keep focused on what the work is that you are to be doing. At least do something that He can reward you for, at least be faithful is the task that is set before you that He has given you the ability to perform.

Isaiah 62:12 "And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken."

"Redeemed" is a legal term, and Jesus Christ became our "kinsman Redeemer" when He went to the cross to pay the price for the redemption for your soul. So when you by faith confess your sins in Jesus name, and claim His salvation to be yours, then you are one of the redeemed. Then at the close of this earth age, you will be called "sought out", in the Hebrew tongue "derushah" which means "looked for". You will be hunted by the angels of God to be brought into His kingdom. God keeps a record of every last persons name that are deserving to be hunted and brought into their rightful inheritance.

Not only will God's Holy people not be forsaken, but His Holy city Jerusalem not be forsaken. Why? It is the Holy city that Jesus will establish as His capital city of His Millennium Kingdom that shall rule over the entire earth. God has made a covenant with Jerusalem as we saw in Ezekiel 16. It shall come to pass. That city shall also be the eternal city following the Millennium Age, and judgment whereby Satan and all his realm will be destroyed, as is declared in Revelation 21:9-12.

Revelation 21:9 "And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, "Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife."

This is one of the seven angels that we read about in Revelation 15:1, 6, and 7. They were the angels that poured the wrath of God out on the earth. God is going to be shown by this angel just where the bride of Christ is after judgment. At that time, Satan and the sinners are consumed into ashes. John is going to visit in the Spirit the city of the New Jerusalem. This is a time beyond this age of the flesh, and also after the thousand year Millennium age of Christ's Kingdom.

Revelation 21:10 "And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,"

This "great and high mountain" Kingdom represents a place where all the saints of God are. These are all the heirs of the New Jerusalem, and John is now going to describe to you and I what our new eternal home is going to be like. The New Jerusalem is not here on earth now, or even in the Millennium Kingdom, but shall descend out of heaven when when the appointed time comes.

Revelation 21:11 "Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;"

This New Jerusalem receives it's light for our Heavenly Father's own glory that is shining forth. This light that comes forth, in the Greek tongue is "phoster", and is used in the term of "light bearer, or given".This light that will be in the New Jerusalem is clear and pure, and it is an eternal light, just as the city is an eternal city for Christ bride.

Revelation 21:12 "And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and the names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:"

Each gate entering into the New Jerusalem will be marked with one of the twelve tribes of Jacob, or Israel. These twelve tribes we are told are the foundation of the saints of God. Though many think today that it is the Jews that are the foundation and chosen of God, and that the other ten tribes of the House of Israel are lost in a desert; the Bible teaches that that is not so. This is not so because God deals with each of these peoples or Houses separately. Each of the two Houses that were split into two separate nations following the death of Solomon, will be joined, and each tribe will be present and well marked at the twelve gates entering into the New Jerusalem.
