transcription/ location is provided by http://www.theseason.org Jeremiah 9:1 "Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!" This is the prophet Jeremiah that is stating his sorrow. The Poultice, for the spiritual medication of the last chapter, is spread on the daughter, ans she is not getting well. If I could cry my eyes out like a river, I would weep for her, Jeremiah is saying. The true believer of our Heavenly Father, when he looks around and sees the adults of our nation make no move forward, and when children are killing children, they still do not intercede. Instead, they listen to the so called intellectual experts telling everyone to put a cure to this and place a bandaid over that, but as the situation worsens, and the years move on, the adults have listened plenty, but nothing is ever done about it. You could cry a lot over what is happening, and the hurt of God's children, as you look around you to these defensed cities, and what has happened there. If the people would follow God's Word, things such as this would not take place. God's Word says that if a person murders a person, then after the trial, kill the murderer. That is how these things not only stop, but begin to put an end to them taking place among the population. If they want an end to all the wickedness, they follow the instructions that are laid out in the Bible. The tears are not healed by the balm, or the physician. Jeremiah 9:2 "Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men." If there was just a place out in the country that I could go to, I would get away from all the murder and wickedness. Jeremiah is saying, if there was a place of peace and quietness, I could get away from my people and all their evil acts of robbery, crime, rape, murder and on and on. Because the people have turned to the minds of men, rather than following what God has instructed. Today the minds of men have their swinging door policy, that when the jail house gets full, we will just let them out to do it again. Jeremiah 9:3 "And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD." Instead of listening to the truths from God's Word, and doing what should be done to clean up the crime and murder in the streets, they keep listening to those foolish men wit their ideas of men, and things go from bad to worse. Friend they do not know the Lord, and today they just don't care about our Heavenly Father. Jeremiah 9:4 "Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders." "Take ye heed", means "be careful". Jesus Christ said the same warning in Matthew 24:4: Matthew 24:4 "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.[4] For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many [5]." "Take heed that no man deceive you", concerning the end time. He wasn't warning against His Word deceiving you, He said, "That no man decieve you". "For many will come in my name, saying 'I am Christ' [Christ's preacher]; and shall deceive many." Jeremiah 9:5 "And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity." The king of Babylon is about to appear on the scene, and Jeremiah, from the mouth of God, is warning them what they must do to prepare for it. He is warning them that what will happen is according to God's plan and that is how it will be. But then you have all those false prophets and ministers that come forth, that are out to speak their own mind and wishes. God did not call them, and wha they are saying are lies. This misleading of God's promise is a type of how it shall be when the king of Babylon in the book of Revelation appears on the scene very shortly, in the last generation. Each day this distance between the prophetical events are growing closer and closer together, and these are the labor pains of the birth of a new age. This is why we must be alert, ready and wise to those events happening around you. When you place the seal, or Word of God in your mind [forehead] then you will not be deceived. God is telling us here that even our closest relatives and neighbors, if they listen to deception will deceive you also. That is why you must listen to the Word of God. The truth is what is written in God's Word, and that is what is not said by these neighbors. These people of our day, are so anxious to repeat what the Word of God says, that they don't take the time to study what is written in the manuscripts. They spout out what other men say, and attribute mans teachings to God, when it is false. You hear these one verse preachers saying "are you saved?", "do you love Jesus?" When they do not know the difference between the two, and the question should be; Which one do you love? Which one are you going to accept in the near future? The first who will appear calling himself christ, or the last and true Christ? Jeremiah 9:6 "Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD." Thine habitation is right where you live, worship and work, it is there that you will be in the midst of the deceit. It is because of that deception that they do not know the True Messiah. They don't know the chronological order of events that God's Word so patiently listed. JEsus gave us all seven signs in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, beside the detail of events in the book of Revelation. We have been given all the seals of the events, and it should be no great suprise when we see them come to pass. Most ministers of today would rather spout out the hearsay of the false prophets, instead of spending time to be able to know the false information from what God's Word warns of. Christ gave us warnings, and the first warning was, "Take heed that no man deceive you." He said, Stay away from the deceit. Jeremiah 9:7 "Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?" God is using the analogy here of smelling gold or silver, as we read in Jeremiah 6:29. He is asking us; "How else can I look for the good in them, if I don't put them in the smelter, and test their metal?" This is another part of that saying. "Your works are tested by fire to see what you are made out of." After the fire hits your work, how do they stand up? Is there anything left? Or is it nothing but ashes left? God is saying that if I don't use the fire, I really don't know how to reclaim my children, unless I put them through the smelter, which is this earth age that we live in now. Jeremiah 9:8 "Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait." Though the neighbors talk kindly to one another, in their heart they both are ready to do murder to eachother spiritually. In other words, He is ready to drag you into his house of idolatry to worship [called their churches] just like he does. He doesn't know any different. That neighbor is Biblically illiterate, yet he thinks he is going to help you out. Thank God for those churches that do teach God's Word, chapter by chapter and verse by verse, where the Word is studied for what the manuscripts teach. However look out for those that tell you that you don't need to study God's Word, you won't be here when the Antichrist comes. Friend, that is one of the signs of the mark of the beast, or it leaves you wide open to the worship of the first Christ to come, which is the Antichrist. Jeremiah 9:9 "Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?" This is God speaking directly to you. God is directing this to the whole nation, not the politics of the nation, but to each of us individually. There is not a nation in existance, except God had ordained it, as Paul stated in Romans 13:1: Romans 13:1 "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God." Romans 13:2 "Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation." God is saying that He is going to visit them, and that visit is not far off. Jeremiah 9:10 "For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are gone." The mountains are the nations, and the habitations are the pastures where they feed, or graze and get their spiritual food. This is a parable, so that those that don't study the Word will ever see the truth just by giving this a quick reading. They don't know that the famine for the end times is not for the shortage of food, but for the lack of truth of God's Word. Amos 8:11: Amos 8:11 "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:" Amos 8:12 "And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it." The famine of the end times is not for something to eat, but for the Word of God being taught. We are overloaded with one verse preachers, and there is a crowd of sheep with no place to feed on God's Word. The pasture of spiritual meat is gone, and there is nothing left to feed on, except the straw and stubble left of man's traditions. Pastors are complaining about that their attendance is failing off, well, FEED the sheep. Feed them with the Word of God, and not the dribble of their own words with a verse here and there, and a few traditions thown in. Give them God's Word. This is not in reference to evangelists, who are directing their sermons to the unsaved, but to the pastors and teachers that are supposed to be feeding the sheep from the Word of God. Teach them the wisdom of God and not the wisdom of any man. Jeremiah 9:11 "And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant." Friend, this is directed to a time not far away. It is aimed to a time when the Antichrist, Satan is cast from heaven, and his angels come with him. This is not aimed at Judas, for the only son of perdition is Lucifer, the devil. Satan is the dragon. Jeremiah 9:12 "Who is the wise man, that may understand this? and who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD hath spoken, that he may declare it, for what the land perisheth and is burned up like a wilderness, that none passeth through?" Are you that wise man that will understand God's Words here? It isn't hard to document that this Word is true, when you visit many church houses of today. What is really sad, is that you can learn just as much in a bowling alley, as in most churches of today. On the whole, our people are Biblicaly illiterate, and they can't even understand the most simplest parables, such as the one just completed. "What the land perisheth", is a saying that this is why the land perishes. Why? There is no teacher there sent of God. This is God's explanation for the reasoning that the pastures are being burned up. The spiritual meat of the Scriptures is not being placed on the table. There are many pastures that do know the Word of God, and if they did teach it boldly, and straight forward, they would be looking for a new job. They are tied spiritually by the system that is paying their bills, and providing their retirement pension fund. Jeremiah 9:13 "And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;" The Lord is answering now, to those with wisdom to understand God's simple instructions. Because they, (my people), have forsaken my Word, the law, and have not listened to my voice, they are not walking in my ways. That is the reason that they have no pasture. "They have chosen not to listen to me", but to "listen to man's voices". If you never study the Word of God, then how could you ever teach that Word? You just couldn't teach from the manuscripts. Jeremiah is the prophet that God sent, now do you have the unction to absorb it? The wisdom fromt this chapter is that the only way that you will find out what pleases God, is from His Word. When that isn't taught, then He is not happy. Jeremiah 9:14 "But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:" Have you ever heard someone say; "I think God spoke something to me today" And then come out with something that isn't in God's Word? They don't know if it was God, or maybe the Spirit. Anytime you claim something came from God, and it didn't, friend, that is Baalism, which they learned from men, not of God. It is common today to hear people spout out the wisdom of their distant forefathers, and then treating it like is has some merit with God. Be careful what you claim for your are playing with your eternal soul. When you live your life within the gifts of God, you can be prosperous in this life daily, and well blessed of God. But is has to be from God and on His terms, and then it pleases Him to shower you with His blessings. You won't get those blessings when you mess around with your own imagination. "Imagination" in the Hebrew, is "stubborness". They are set in their minds with their old traditions, and they are not going to budge from that point, regardless of what the Word of God says. Jeremiah 9:15 "Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink." "The Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel" is God's full title. God says that He is going to feed this people of His with wormwood and gall water, that old poppyseed water to drink. If they want to take in all the poisons of man's traditions, and false doctrine, then God says that He is going to allow it. Friend, have you seen any people in a drunken mess, and mentally messed up both spiritually and physically lately? Wormwood means poisioning, and the whole world is becoming poisoned in the rivers and lakes, the cities, and the rural lands. God said that if they won't feed on my Word, then I will feed them with wormwood; and in Revelation 8:10,11 it tells us that this is the third trumpet. Revelation 8:10 "And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;" Revelation 8:11 "And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter." The star called "wormwood" is Satan, the Antichrist, and the "fountains of waters" have turned bitter. Satan deals in bitterness. God said, if they won't study my Word, and because they won't, I'll send them bitterness. How are you doing as of late? Have you talked to the Lord lately? Have you studied His Word, and done it His way? The point here is that if you do not feed on the manna that God has brought forth in His beautiful Word, how do you expect blessings from God? Jeremiah 9:16 "I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them." God is saying that He will scatter them among the nations; and the sword that God will send after them is Satan's sword. That sword will be with them until the time that it will completely consume them. That sword is Satan's flood of lies and deceptions, that is written of in Revelation 12:15,16: Revelation 12:15 "And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood." Both houses of Israel and Judah have been scattered, and they are in all parts of the earth. You can find their markings from their early wanderings all over the United States in their pictographs and petrology, leaving their markings that they truly had passed by here. It has been traced in those steps that they made, it is documented for you, that God's Word is true and you don't have to listen to man, because you can see it on the stones. God's Word has come to pass exactly as it has been written. Man has just never put anything together that has lasted, or formed a nation that held together, but what some wickedness set in, and it completely fell apart, with the exception of Egypt, where God had stated that it would always be a base nation. America is a very young nation compared to most that have existed. Revelation 12:16 "And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth." Jeremiah 9:17 "Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come:" God is telling you, "stop and think [consider ye], meditate a while, then send for a wise woman. He is saying that this time coming is going to be real sad, and send for your professional mourners, that know how to do it up right. Jeremiah 9:18 "And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters." As this was only a type of what we are going to see in the near future, it is time to make haste in your preparation for the great flood of lies that the dragon will cast out on the earth in the near future. You better get the crying towels ready, and hire professional mourners. The wailing is for the children of God, and for that time when all of God's children will go gushing after the false Jesus. It is a sad state of affairs. What is the church preparing Christians for today? They are being prepared to be harlots, to chase after the false christ, in their spiritual whorehouses. They are being equipped to be taken by the false Jesus, and in ignorance they don't even know what they are doing. Their church houses are teaching them to fly right into the arms of the instead of Christ. Later on in Jeremiah 13, we will read exactly what God thinks of their teachings, and of those false teachers. We are in the generation of the fig tree, and that generation has lots of gray hairs because it started in May 1948. It is this generation that we will be doing the crying, and hiring the mourners. Daniel told us that the wise will know the season, and we are in that season. Daniel 12:9 "And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. [9] Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.[10]" time - 6256 `eth (ayth); from 5703; time, especially (adverb with preposition) now, when, etc.: KJV-- + after, [al-] ways, X certain, + continually, + evening, long, (due) season, so [long] as, [even-, evening-, noon-] tide, ([meal-]), what) time, when. Jeremiah 9:19 "For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out." The voice coming out of Jerusalem and the church houses of today is asking, 'how are we confused about this'? It is a pleading cry. They are so starved that they don't know when they are fed or not. When they do receive a verse, they become confused because it is so mixed up with all kinds of straw and stubble. They hear about all kinds of stories, and fairy tales, but there is nothing of spiritual food to make them grow. The poor starving people. Jeremiah 9:20 "Yet hear the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation." This is the wise woman coming to give her speech. When the wise woman teaches what is happening to our people, you cannot help but weep for them a little. It is a pityful situation today, when God's Word is not taught as it ought to be taught, line upon line, and precept upon precept. Jeremiah 9:21 "For death is come up into our windows, and is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, and the young men from the streets." Satan brought death into the world, and Satan's name is death, and that is what is coming into our windows today. The death that is coming through the roof and the windows is a spiritual death of lies and deceit. That signal coming into your windows is what is on your television, or radio, and is all a part of the great deception that is coming over the air waves. It is you that control whether or not you will be part of that spiritual death, or whether you use that tool for spiritual life. They love to listen to those lies, because it makes them feel real good. Jeremiah 9:22 "Speak, Thus saith the LORD, Even the carcases of men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none shall gather them." This is the spiritual dead of an Biblically illiterate world. They are spiritually dead, like a bunch of bones filling the valley in Ezekiel 37:1-11. Then as God told Ezekiel to preach to those dry bones, and as he preached, life, flesh and organs came onto those mountains of dry dead bones, and spiritual life entered into them, and they stood to their feet. These dead bones were the restoration symbolically of the whole House of Israel. So it is when you take the bones of the spiritually dead and Biblically illiterate, and you preach to them from God's Word. Lives are changed when God's Word enters into their minds, and then they no longer belong on that dung hill, but they have become the children of the living God. Jeremiah 9:23 "Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:" These are the three things that men search out for most, in their dealing with men away from the Word of God. First is the "wise man glory in his wisdom". The second is the "the mighty men that glory in his might". The third is, "the rich man that glories in his riches". These are the three; their wisdom, their power, and their wealth, or riches. Jeremiah 9:24 "But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD." This is gaining wisdom. If you really want to be proud of something, be proud of this. That you know the true nature of God, and all that He delights in. If you know the lovingkindness of God, and that God's judgements are true, and that our God is a righteous God, that is wisdom. When you are in this flesh body, and you know these things of God, then you have something that you can count on. When you set out to understand Him, and please Him, then He delights in blessing you. The key is doing it all God's way. The only way that can happen, is when you study His Word. Jeremiah 9:25 "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will punish all them which are circumcised with the uncircumcised;" Those that look religious and act religious, they are going to be punished right along with the heathen that could care less about religion. This is because a religious house that is empty, is no better then the heathen that knows nothing about God, or His ways. God is saying that He is going to punish the same alike. Why do you go to church, and what do you learn there? Jeremiah 9:26 "Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all that are in the utmost corners, that dwell in the wilderness: for all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart." Notice the "and" before each of these peoples. This is directed to the time that is just before us. All of the nations of the world, the entire one world system will be uncircumcised in the mind [heart]. Christ said that circumcision is no longer of the flesh but of the heart, or mind of both men and women. Circumcised means that they will love Him, and care about his ways and His Word. If you don't care enough about a loved one to even read their letter, you are showing great apathy for them, making yourself worthless, in His eyes. "All that are in the utmost corners", is not a reference to a location on earth, but in the Hebrew, it refers to the blocking the beard in a certain manner, as prescribed in Leviticus 19:27. It is the law that tells us how to cut our hair, and trim our beards. We are supposed to do it in this way. Though the word beard doesn't appear there, it does in the Hebrew manuscripts. The "uttermost corners" means to pole the beard and block it as the heathn do. Why? Leviticus 19:27 "Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard." The in-depth meaning is that if you pick up heathen practices, it isn't long until other practices will work it's way right into your church. This pertains not only to the beard, but the traditions and teachings that are against God's ways, and that He has told us that He hates. This pertains to Easter, where many of the heathen customs have entered to force out the true celebration, Passover. After a period of time, you never know the difference between what is heathen, and what is of God. They just accept it all as being of God, because of their Biblical illiteracy.
