Job

Chapter  24

"Job speaks on man's iniquity"

This chapter directs his focus on man's own iniquity.  With the knowledge that we posses today, we have answered all of the questions asked by Job and his three so-called friends.  God is good to His people for He has given us the protection that we need for the time that we are living in.  We can know when and if Satan places us under attack.  Then when he does, we have the power and authority from God to order him out of our lives, only it is our responsibility to study and know the difference between Satan's attack, and God's correcting us.  We have an advocate to represent us before the throne of God today, for when Christ went to the cross, and came out of the tomb, Jesus Christ conquered death.  On the forth day after His resurrection, Jesus Christ ascended into heaven to take His rightful seat to the right hand of the Father.  Jesus is your attorney before the throne of God, and that is why when we approach the throne of God in prayer, our authority to be there is "IN JESUS NAME".

Today we don't have to look forward or backward, we can go direct to the Father.  Job did not have this opportunity as we do today, for Jesus Christ had not paid the price until fifteen hundred years after Job's life.  When the problems come into our life today that Satan has caused, we have the authority to order it out, and that authority was given to us by Jesus Christ.  This chapter is a continuation of the same thought of the last chapter.  This chapter is the major part in the debate between Job and his three friends.  The first verse sets it all up.

Job  24:1   "Why, seeing times are not hidden from The Almighty, do they that know Him not see His days?"

When God knows and sees these wicked men doing all these wicked thing, why doesn't "The Almighty" have a judgment day once a year.  If He would judge them once a year, we that are in the light could see these wicked ones suffer, and learn not to do those things.  There is a judgment day set and Job is saying this to bring us the though at a time element.

Job  24:2   "Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof."

Job is talking about those wicked ones go into God's pasture and steal the flocks away.

Job  24:3   "They drive away the ass of the fatherless they take the widow's ox for a pledge."

They beat the poor widow woman out of her livelihood through their pledges and vows.  They set up emotional situations to where the widow woman and those that have little give their last, then they live high and mighty on those pledges.

Job  24:4   "They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together."

They take the money and few riches from the needy and poor and hide the gains away  in secrecy so that those in need will not see the results of what they are doing.

Job  24:5   "Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; raising betimes for a prey: the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children."

These people are living in a wilderness desert, and they are living where there is a blade of grass every forty feet.  The food for these wild asses is so scarce that there is hardly enough to feed themselves, not alone their little ones.  Job is comparing the food in the desert for these wild asses to the spiritual pasture of those that sit under those pastors that are not giving out the truth in God's Word; The same likeness as this grass in the desert.  No wonder they are so starved for the truth, for it just is not given to them.

Job  24:6   "They reap every one his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked."

They have to live off the droppings and leftovers when there is a grain of corn left in the field.  They don't eat at fine tables, but they eat the course food where ever it is found.  It is a matter of each man hunting out his own portion for himself.  What is implied in the Hebrew text is that the rough food left is barely fit to eat.

Job  24:7   "They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold."

What Job is saying here is that there is a people that are really wicked, they seek to go far beyond what the human mind is able to think up for themselves.  Stop and look around you today in our world and see what mankind is doing and accepting as being normal.   Look at what our law makers are conceiving up, and what is being accepted not only in the churches but in the schools as well.

Job  24:8   "They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter."

It is so bad that God's people are becoming unprotected, for it is like they are out in the mountains in the winter storm without shelter.  As torrents of wickedness are showered down on the righteous, the wicked ones could care less.  Stop and think for a moment who the wicked ones are?  This is speaking of driving people from their homes for the sake of gaining their own riches and wealth.

Job  24:9   "They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor."

These people simply could care less whether you are with them or not with them, for they will destroy your children, and take what ever they can from you.  They simply could care less what you think or what your needs are.  There only concern is their own deep pockets.  You get the same treatment from those people when you are left amongst them no matter what or who you are.

Job  24:10   "They cause him to go naked without clothing and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;"

This is explained in the next verse.

Job  24:11   "Which make oil within their walls, and tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst."

These poor people that are under these wicked ones, are made to gather the crops, and stomp in wine presses, and suffer even where there is sufficient and plenty.  Stop and look at our nation today, for there are a people that control ninety percent of all the wealth of the world, and they are called "Kenites" in the bible.  As many in the world are suffering, they count their money, and relate everything to their profits.  This is what this verse is inferring.

Job  24:12   "Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly to them."

Job is saying that even with all of this happening, God still lets them get away with all the wickedness that they are doing.  They are so wicked that all they can do is lay around and think up more ways to be wicked.  Even with all their wickedness, God still doesn't touch them.  No, God will not touch them yet, for all the wickedness that these Kenite men and women are doing is within God's plan.  These Kenites are setting the stage and making the world ready to receive their father Satan, for the final testing that comes is at his arrival at the sixth trumpet.  Remember that Job is a type of the elect and this is a description of how things shall be at the time of the end.

Job  24:13   "They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof."

Job is now switching over to a different class of people here.  These people are so against the light that they go out of their way to prevent the light from coming through.  The type of wickedness above was for the sake of their riches and gaining power, but this type of rebel will do thing just for the sake of preventing the light from God's Word to be told.  What they do is done in secrecy and the darkness of the night, spiritually speaking they are the worst.

Job  24:14   "The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief."

Job  24:15   "The eye also of the adulterer waitheth for the twilight, saying, `No eye shall see me:' and disguiseth his face."

Job is comparing this type of wickedness to, the murderer that plots to do his crime when no one will be around to see him.  When he acts he tries to disguise his face to where no one will recognize him for the acts that he is doing.  When this great wickedness is taking place by those that are trying to rebel against the Word of God to prevent it from being taught with understanding, they do their deeds in the same fashion as those that go out to kill and slaughter the helpless, and break in and steal like a thief, and disguise themselves to go out and become an adulterer.

Job  24:16   "In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light."

They don't know about the light, nor do they even care about the light but pot their acts.

Job  24:17   "For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death."

They plan their moves as if their life depended on the precision of their words and movement.  Terror comes to their minds when their aims are brought into the light.

Job  24:18   "He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards."

This type will not work in the soil of the earth, for God has cursed the earth from producing for them.  You should know who these people are from Genesis 4:9-12.

Genesis  4:9   "And the Lord said unto Cain, "Where is Abel thy brother?"  And he said, "I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?"

Genesis  4:10   "And He said, "What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto Me from the ground."

Genesis  4:11   "And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from they hand."

Genesis  4:12   "When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yeild unto thee her strength; and fugitive and a vagabond shalt be in the earth."

All these characteristics that Job is naming of these wicked ones, is identified as being the offspring of Cain.  They are called the "Kenites", and in Strong's Hebrew dictionary are # 7014, and 7017.  # 7014; "Qayin, kah'-yin; the same as 7013 (with a play upon the affinity to 7069); Kajin, the name of the first child, and of an Oriental tribe:-Cain, Kenite."

# 7069; "Qanah, a prime root; to erect, i.e., create, to procure (for profit), attain, buy, teach, measure, teach to keep cattle, get, provoke to jealousy, recover and redeem (surity)."  All these things stated here are what these sons of Cain, or "Kenites" are doing, for they have the curse of God on their heads for tilling the soil.  There is one other area that the Kenites have crept in to filled the gap.  When the Levites left their duties of responsibility at the altar of God, the Kenites took that role of the Levites..

# 7017; "Qeyniy, or Qiyniy kee-nee; (I Chronicles 2:55)  patron. from 7014, a Kenite or member of the tribe of of Kajin:-Kenite."

I Chronicles 2:55: "And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez [Jerusalem], the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Scuhathites.  These are the Kenites  that came of Hamath, the father of the house of Rechab."

These families of Kenites, or sons of Satan through Cain, controlled the duties of the scribes and priests in Jerusalem [Jabez] when Ezra and Nehemiah led the children of the house of Judah out of Babylon.  The Babylonian captivity was over, and there was not one Levitical priest that started on the journey back to rebuild the Temple and control the house of God. These Nethinims numbered half of the total population.

Ezra 8:15  "And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the People, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi."

Notice that these Kenites are not of Abraham nor of Israel, but they are of the house of Rechab.  They are Orientals, the sons of Cain who went to the east to the land of Nod to take a wife.  They were of their father Cain, the first murderer, the son of the Eve through Satan from that sinful act in the Garden of Eden.  These Kenites are the very ones that controlled the temple at Jesus time and plotted to murder Jesus, and their offspring are the ones spoken of here in Job, doing those wicked things to hide the truth of the light of God's Word, for they are the negative part of the plan of God.

God is using Job to teach us a lesson and prepare us to recognize them.  Job is telling us that there portion is cursed, they can own the land but others must work the land for them for God will not allow them to touch his soil to bring forth fruit.  Remember Strong's Hebrew dictionary #7069, these are the things that the Kenite shall be doing, and in doing those things, he shall make his living.  He cannot work in the way of the vineyard, but must work as a common parasite, and leach off the efforts of those that to the work and bidding for him.  The Kenites are the hidden ones, their acts are in secret.

Job  24:19   "Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned."

Job  24:20   "The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree."

In the Hebrew text this is saying, Oh mother, forget me.  There is a time when there will be no wickedness and all those evil ways will be gone.  This is speaking of the Millennium age when Jesus Christ has returned at the seventh trumpet, and all flesh is done away with.  We will all be changed into our new incorruptible bodies, that will live for that thousand year period and then come to judgment.  The wickedness shall be broken as a tree then, and remembered no more.

Job  24:21   "He evil entreateth the barren that beareth not; and doeth not good to the widow."

I hope you understand that there is a wedding coming soon, and those that remain barren, and beareth not to the evil one Satan, will not take part in his wedding.  Satan wedding comes at the sixth trumpet, while the true wedding of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior comes at the seventh and final trumpet.  Those that "doeth not good to the widow", are the ones that take part in Satan wedding, and take his name and number, which is to follow the ways that the Kenites are instructing them.  We are to see that we remain barren and true of Christ, and the rewards will be great.  Job at this moment of his persecution is accused as not being part of the norm, or accepted ways of the world around him.  God elect will also be accused of the same in the final generation.  It will be Satan's own flock that will accuse the elect of their differences.

Jesus spoke of this in Matthew 24:19; "And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days."  "Woe" to the Christians that did not know the truth, nor have the knowledge from God's Word to remain true to Christ.  They were deceived into a false marriage with Satan, and took his name and bare him children in a spiritual sense when they led other into Satan's camp.  To "give suck" is to do the work of Satan's system, and give that system all the glory of what ever you do.

Job  24:22   "He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life."

The Hebrew text is saying; it seems that God always lets those in power get ahead, when they should die.  The bad guy always gets a head and the wealthy get more and more.  We all know it by what we see daily, that is exactly the way that it seems.  However, remember that we are living in the earth age of the flesh, and Satan is the prince of this sinful earth age.  It will not always be that way, and the end is very soon.

Job  24:23   "Though it be given him to be in safety, thereon he resteth; yet His eyes are upon their ways."

This is implying that it seems like God is looking after the wicked and their ways.

Job  24:24   "They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn."

You might say that Job is way out of order in making this statement that God protects the wicked.  What did God say to those that kill Cain?

Genesis  4:15; "And the Lord said unto him,  "Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be take on him sevenfold."  And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him."

Genesis  4:16   "And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden."

Cain and his children are to be the negative part of God's plan, and the punishment on those that would tamper with the life of Cain or his children was seven times worse than what he gave Cain.  You see there is not that many of them, and God wanted to protect that negative part to the real time of testing, because they are so wicked.

Job  24:25   "And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?"

Job has finish speaking, and he is now challenging the others to refute what he has just said.

It is impossible to understand the complete plan of God without knowing who the Kenites are and their purpose in the plan.  We opened this chapter with the seasons, the times that things would happen; the judgments that would come from those seasons, and the order or ages things would happen in.  Job wrote this chapter like he was posting in on a big billboard.  The lesson from this chapter is for each of us to be aware of the seasons, and the signs of the times for the age that we are living in.

You have to understand the age that was, and what happened there, or there is no way that you can understand what has in is going to happen in this age that we are now living in.  In the first age, Satan rebelled and became the father of the wicked, and that is why he react as he does, for God has already placed the curse of death on Satan's head.  That is why Satan and all his children act and do the wicked things that they do, for they are trying to defend their father, the cursed and sentenced to death man.

Just as the words of this debate between Job and these three worldly men will go on and on, so also your words will go on and on, and we will hear this same words given to us in this final generation as the world tries to condemn righteous people.  They twist the things of Satan to appear to be the things of God, and make the things of God's Word appear to be evil.  As these words are spoken, remember the lesson of Job and this chapter, and watch out what you accept to be the truth.  If it is not backed up by the Scripture, it is not of God, and not worth our consideration.

These words of Job were given to us to sharpen us up in our generation, and regardless how boring and repetitious it may seem, it has a purpose.  The lesson for us here is that when it become easier to just blame the anyone for the cause of something happening, remember that behind it all, it is the work of Satan.  We have the power and the authority to take our own problems in hand and command Satan and his realm out of our lives.  We live in a time when it is important to become an expert in the tools of our trade, which is defeating Satan where ever he may show up in our lives.

There is only one thing that defeats Satan and He is the Lord Jesus Christ and the facts, and the facts are all given to us in the Word of God.  The facts are the truth, and the truth is what sets us free.
