Lamentations

Chapter 2

"The Judge [1-13]."

"Zion, The Sin unconfessed [14]."

"Recrimination of Passers by, the Prayer [15-22]."

This second chapter is also a poem just like the first chapter. It has twenty two verses, and it begins each verse with a different letter of the Hebrew alphabet, with the exception of one thing; two of these letters are reversed. one begins with a special message to the elect of the latter days that we are living in today. It is a special message to you for a very special purpose. It is given to give you comfort in these latter day, and the special hours we are living in today. I will callyour attention to these verses when we study them. We will have this same thing happening in these final hours hidden for you in these last hours of this age of the flesh. In the Companion Bible these letters are placed before each verse, and it is made obvious as we study from this study Bible. It is pointed out that the letters before verses sixteen (16) and seventeen (17) have been reversed.

Lamentations 2:1 "How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in His anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not His footstool in the day of His anger!

Wake up now and notice that the Lord cast the "beauty of Israel from heaven onto the earth." For the deeper students know that this is from the world that was, and it tells us why were are here on earth. A second witness to the face that this earth is God's footstool is found in Isaiah 66.

Isaiah 66:1 "Thus saith the Lord, "The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool: where is the house that ye build unto Me: and where is the place of MY rest?"

Isaiah 66:2 "For all thse things hath Mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of the contrite spirit, and trembleth at My word."

Heaven is where the throne of God is today, and the earth is His footstool.

Lamentations 2:2 "The Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: He hath thrown down in His wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; He hather brought them down to the ground: He hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof."

The Lord has "swallowed up" or in the Hebrew text, "to make a way with, to devour and destroyed, all the habitations of Jacob. It is like a great earthquake that causes the earth to open up and devour them from off the face of the earth. This is talking about the rural people, the farmers and vilages and God will throw them down and not take pity upon them.

"The strong holds of the daughter of Judah" are their fortified cities that will exist in the latter days. Historically, many teach that all of Jerusalem went into captivity, however, many of those of Judah did not go into the captivity in Babylon, but stayed right there on the land in the land of Judah. Lamentations is now declaring that many stayed behind. God did not take pity on them. We are not speaking of Judah here, but Jacob, all of the tribes.

The prophet Hosea was addressing this House of Israel also as he lived out God's message in his life. God told Hosea to go and take a wife of whoredoms and have children of whoredoms: and this was to be a lesson for those of the House of Israel that wire living in the land and committing great whoredom in their departure from the ways of the Lord. Hoses did exactly as God instructed Him to do, and took Gomer, the daughter of Diblaim, to be his wife. "Diblaim" means "double cake of figs", which is symbolic of sensual pleasure.

Hosea had three children by Gomer, and each of these children were named to give the House of Israel a message from God as to what He was going to do with these ten tribes of the house of Isreal. The first child was named "Jezreel", which fortold of a coming future judgment.

Hosea 1:6 "And she [Gomer] conceived again, and bare a dughter. And God said unto him, "Call her name Lo-ruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away."

God told the house of Isreael that He would not have pity on those ten tribes to the north. The word "Hosea" in the Hebrew means "salvation", and the thoughts of these verses should call to your memory the entire plan of God's salvation. The ten tribes of the House of Israel were so scattered that they had lost their identity to themselves, it was like the earth had opened up, and swallowed them. God did not take pity one these people of the Israel, and to this day most of our people have no idea in the world who they are.

Hosea 1:7 "But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horseman."

Judah has her identity, the people of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin know that they are of the house of Judah, and to this day their identity is known. Whoever they did not escape the sword nor the battle for the horses and the riders from Babylon came down and destroyed their lands and took them captive. Though many were hauled away, many also were left behind to til and live on the land in peace.

This should recall that whole writings of the prophet of Hosea to your mind, so that you could see the beauty that is within this eulogy to the city of Jerusalem.

Lamentations 2:3 "He hath cut off in His fierce anger all the horn of Israel: He hath drawn back His right hand from before the enemy, and He burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, whih devoureth round about."

"The horn of Israel" both the glory and the power of Israel had. God withdrew His protective hand that he had over Jacob, which is the natural seed of Israel, and He allow the enemies of Israel to devour and destroy it. Remember that "God is a consuming fire" as recorded in Hebrews 12:29. God allowed the Assyrians to destroy Israel when He withdrew His protection from Israel, and their enemies came in and scattered all the ten tribes. He so scattered them that they completely lost their idenitity of who they are and where they came from. When they call themselves "Caucasians" they think it is a race, because they can only remember traces of the event of being scattered through the Caucasus mountains, to the points to where they finally settled.

Lamentations 2:4 "He hath bent His bow like an enemy: He stood with His right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: He poured out His fury like fire."

In the manuscripts, the colan (:) is not after the word "enemy", but after the word "eye", and the Kenite scribes tried to change the entire meaning of this verse. Do you realize what this verse is, it is God's plan, and it has come to pass exactly as it is written. It isn't something that you should cry about, but we should rejoice because God kept His word, and His will came to pass as written.

Lamentations 2:5 "The Lord was as an enemy: He hath swallowed up Israel, He hath swallowed up all her palaces: He hath destroyed His strong holds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation."

God destroyed their strong holds and swallowed up all her palaces when the house of Israel lost their identity. They don't even know who they are. This is what causes all the more mournings and lamentations for our people today, because they have no idea what is going on around them. They wonder what this old world is coming to, as they read God's Word and feel themselves to be Gentiles and outsiders of God's people. Friend, it was God's decree that it would happen exactly in this order, because the the sins of our forfathers.

It will not be altered for what God said would come to pass, and many false prophets came in Jeremiah's day, and said; "They are not going to take us over, it is not going to happen."

We are going to have false prophets that will come in these last days that we are living in today, saying the same things and giving out the same false hope that Jeremiah faced. They will tell you that it is not going to happen, but my friend, it is written and it shall come to pass exactly as it is written. If what a person says doesn't check out with the word of God, what he or she is saying is a lie, and he is a false prophet.

Lamentations 2:6 "And He hath violently taken away His tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: He hath destoyed His places of the assembly: the Lord hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of His anger the king and the priest."

You can't blame God for taking away His tabernacle for all the filth that His priests and people were doing in their assemblies. We had a King in the Lord God almighty, yet our forefather cried out for a man to be their king. Our Israelite forefather had to have a man to reign over them like the heathens do, for they could not take the beautiful instructions and poems that God gave us through His prophets. God gave us the instructions as to how we are to live and how it shall be when we live within His Word. We could not put our trust in someone that we could not see or hear personally, so our people cried out for some flesh and blood man to rule over us.

God loves you, but "His Will" will be done, and we will deserve what ever comes to pass. Remember that we are talking on a national sense here, and not on an individual basis. This is the eulogy for the city of Jerualem, and the people nationally that were to worship here. Jerusalem was the holy city for all of Israel, both houses, the house of Israel, and the house of Judah. The house of Israel fell away from God over a hundred years before Judah, and were hauled into captivity by the Assyrians, and they scattered abroad and migrated to where they are today.

It didn't take much time to where the kings and priests of Judah became far more wicked than their brother Israel [the ten tribes], and God used Nebuchadnezzar to bring them down into captivity. So if you try to take something on a personal nature from what is written in Lamentations, you are going to miss most of what is written in this book, for it is written about nations and not individuals.

This book is written to us as a nation, and to the cities that we live in today. Keep this thought in mind or you will end up on a dead end street of understanding.

Lamentations 2:7 "The Lord hath cast off His altar, He hath abhorred His sancturary, He hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the Lord, as in the day of a solemn feast."

God's people went to the house of their enemy's palaces and their house of worship and they practiced the enemies religions. They did strange things in the city of God, and they mixed and practiced new beliefs, and they refused to be on their face before God, as it should be in Jerusalem. The sack cloth is not adorned, and the weeping is not being done as it should be for their sins, because God's sabbaths and solemn feasts are no longer there. God's feasts of joy have been turned to wormwood, because Jesus Christ is not there. This prophesy has come to pass and we can witness it today in our generation.

There were many different religions there up until this generation we live in today, but no more. Satan's children the Kenites have closed the door to Jesus Christ in Jerusalem and their land they call Israel, and Jesus Christ is not welcomed there anymore.

Lamentations 2:8 "The Lord hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: He hath stretched out a line, He hath not withdrawn His hand from destroying: Therefore He made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together."

It was God's plan to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion. Every time you see a picture of a part of that wall in Jerusalem, don't worry about it, it was part of God's plan. Though it may hurt a little bit, we are to bare the yoke of it, for our people deserve to. It is a reminder of our sins and the sins of our fathers and forefathers.

Lamentations 2:9 "Her gates are sunk into the ground; He hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the Lord."

It simply cannot be made any clearer to where the children of the house of Israel are. They have so mixed in with the children of Israel that they even call themselves "Gentiles". Listen to their preachers behind the pulpits and declare that the law is no more, they have closed their bibles to the warnings of the prophets of God, and they have created new ideas that go along with the heathen system that is coming into power. They have lost the vision that come through the prophets of God, because they no longer teach nor even regard the warnings of God's prophets any more.

They have taken away the law of God and brought in the law of the rabbi, and it is just as it was in Jesus day, when he said in Matthew 23:2; "Saying, "The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:" They have taken over the duties of God's Levitical priests and scribes, and they have replaced them with these Kenite sons of Cain that pervert the laws and commandments of God. We are told in I Chronicles 2:55 who these are that took over the duties of the records keeping of God's law and the records of God's people, and they were complete foreigners to God.

I Chronicles 2:55 "And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez [Jerusalem]; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab."

These "Nethinims" or strangers to God's people took over the records, and wrote themselves into the heritage of God's people, they became hidden within the peoples of Judah that they seamed to be part of Judah, because they were in the seats of leadership of both the scribes and the priests over Judah. These Kenites were of the lineage of Cain, the first murderer, from the sexual union between Satan and Eve from the garden of Eden, and they had worked themselves into a position of trust over Judah. Ezra tells us that when they came out of Bablyon after the captivity, the sons of Levi were gone. the Kenites, or sons of Satan had replaced the "sons of Levi" and there were no prests of God in the return out of Babylon to Jerusalem..

Ezra 8:15 "And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the People, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi."

Ezra, the leader of this wagon train heading out of Babylon, on its eight hundred mile journey back to Jerusalem to build the temple and reestablish the worship of God, had no sons of Levi. Just how in the world did he or the other think that they would worship God where the ones that God appointed to be their priests were not there. Were they going to be vote who would be the priests? Of course not, but the allowed these Kenites to creep in unawares and assume the command of not only their records keeping, the keeping of God;s word to them, but also the very duties and leadership of the Temple of God. Satan's kids were now in control of God's house, and some five hundred years later, Jesus Christ shows up on the scene in His ministry, and is it any wonder that from the first day, they sought to murder and kill Jesus. Jesus knew who these scribes and Pharisees were, and He could look right into their minds as they sought to murder Him.

They rewrote the law that would be taught in their sacred writings, and they called it the "Talmud", and this law is sacred to them. "..., her prophets also find no vision from the Lord." It should be obvious by now why these prophets of Jerusalem no longer find a vision from God, for if the vision and word does not come from God, than who does it come from? It comes from the other supernatural person, it comes from Satan. If it is not of God, than it is of Satan.

Lamentations 2:10 "The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground, and keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground."

This is the very appearance of mourning, and the elect had better mourn that time. The elect are the only ones that know and understand what is going on at this time in Jerusalem. The elect are the only ones that know who is ruling there in our generation, and know why it is taking place. Friend, it is part of God's plan and it shall take place exactly as God said it would through His prophets, and the disciples and apostles.

Lamentations 2:11 "Mine eyes do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my People; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city."

You can see Jeremiah sitting there and weeping as he is revealed these truths that are coming upon his people, and knows what destruction is going to come upon his city of Jerusalem. The word "liver" as it is used here, was thought to be at the time of this writing, the seat of emotion. It is saying that the emotions are poured out upon the ground. It is important also to note that this is the eleventh verse and in reference to the twelveth verse, is in reverse order. It is meant to be this way in this poem, for God is calling our attention to this verse, and that the destruction of the daughter of my People has come, and they swoon in the streets of the city. This lets us know that the "acrostics of the eleven" have to do with the city of Jerusalem.

Is is always of that beautiful city and it will be brought to complete abomination. Our Heavenly Father is about to tell us something in the remainder of this chapter, and you have better pay attention.

Lamentations 2:12 "They say to their mothers, "Where is corn and wine?" when they swooned as the wounded in the streets of the city, when their soul was poured out into their mothers' bosom."

Can't you just see Jeremiah weeping as he records this starvation that is coming over the people of Jerusalem, his people. This is starvation not for food and drink, but for the hearing of the Word of God. It hurts a mother see her child starve to death before her very eyes. How do you think it made our heavenly Father feel when He would see this come to pass? To see even the flesh of His children hurt, so that their eternal soul could be healed ultimately. God is a God of love and compassion, and it becomes hard to understand how He could do that, when the entire plan of God is not known.

Our Lord Jesus Christ knows what it means to suffer for He paid the ultimate price with His Life, when He did not have to. He did it for His love for you and I, and that same love is causing His plan to come to pass.

Lamentations 2:13 "What thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? for thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal thee?"

God is asking how can I compare you? This is the same questions that Jesus asked in Matthew 23:37 just before He went to the cross, as He looked out over the city of Jerusalem and ask:

Matthew 23:37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou tat killeest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how ofter would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!"

Many times God would have taken His people and protected them from their enemies, just as the mother hen gathers and protects her chick, but they would have no part of our Lord. They wouldn't listen and they just didn't want any protection for God, but they desired to make their own way. This is why Jesus begged for that cup to be passed from Him while He was in that garden called Gethsemane, on the mount of Olives. Jesus knew exact what he was about to go through.

Matthew 26:37 "And He took with Him Peter and the two snos of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy."

Matthew 26:38 "Then said He unto them, "My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with Me."

Matthew 26:38 "And He went a little farther, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me: nevertheless not as I will, but as Thou wilt."

Jesus begged for the cup to be passed from Him, for it could not be the cup of wrath that must be poured out upon the people, and the pain was not His pain that He wanted relieved; but is the pain that would be placed upon the people for their wickedness.

Lamentations 2:14 "Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment."

This verse is refering to the prophets in the last days and we are to pay special attention to what it is saying. The prophets of our day simply cannot see the iniquity that is in Jerusalem as they spout their mutterings of these days. They think it is wonderful that the Jews have returned and set up their kingdom there. They don't even have any idea what a Kenite is, not alone that they are against God's Son Jesus Christ. They send their money there, they pray for these Kenites, and support them where ever they can. In fact they even think that these sons of Cain and Satan are God's chosen people.

They think that it is beautiful that these so-called "chosen people" have gone back to Jerusalem, and they remain completely ignorant of Revelation 2:9 where it states; "I know ty works, and tribulation, and poverty (but thou art rich), and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan."

The true elect of God know who these Kenites are, that would bring this abomination on the city of Jerusalem. The teach these false burdens and lay them on the minds of your people, all the day long and into the very homes of true Israel, and the truth is withheld as Jerusalem cries out even from the wall. When you see a picture from that wall, it is a symbol from God of the wickness that went on in Jerusalem, and goes on today.

The false prophets today tell our people that the destruction can't happen, and that God is going to send this super suction to suck them out through their rapture doctrine, and they close their minds to the wickedness that these Kenites are doing in Jerusalem today. They tell our people to believe and it is all right, nothing will happen to you. Fly away on the big speckled bird into some fairy-tale land, and you will escape the great destruction coming upon the earth. They have no idea in the world that the destruction is a spiritual destruction and it is upon us here today.

These false prophets are completely ignorant of the what is going to befall them personally for the trot that they are teaching. God does not look favorable at any person calling Him a liar, and that is exactly what they are doing.

Lamentations 2:15 "All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, "Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?" "

It is almost impossible to escape the mockery of these false prophets, as they flood the airwaves, and shout it from their pulpits, and call all this wickedness of their lies "perfection of beauty". Jerusalem is suppose to be the city of peace and beauty, yet the people of that city mock God, and and delete Jesus Christ from all existence to their people. Jerusalem is not the joy of the earth, but the very slime pit of Satan and his children and they make ready for Satan and his fallen angels return to earth.

These next two verses are those transposed so that you could see the true lamentation that would fall upon Jerusalem, and cry out.

Lamentations 2:16 "All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee:they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, "We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it."

Can't you see the hissing and the smiles on these Kenite faces as they move into this city of Jerusalem. Their lies and deceptions have swallowed up all the truth, as the so called Christian world supports every act of these murderous ones. If you have opened your mouth in support for these Kenites, then this verse and the ones that follows is addressing you.

Lamentations 2:17 "The Lord hath done that which He had devised; He hath fulfilled His word that He had commanded in the days of old: He hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and He hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, He hath set up the horn of thine adversaries."

It is in His plan that all this would happen, and we must believe that it is. As these false prophets stand in their pulpits and declare the Kenites to be the chosen of God, God has fulfilled His Word. They had itching ears and loved to chase after all sorts of new traditions, and God said when they do, this is exact what would happen. My friend, the Jewish Kenites are not strong enough to do anything, but through their deceiving words, they have caused God's people to do it for them. They tax our people and use our taxes to fulfill their wicked deeds and ways. They send our sons to die on foreign fields, so their adgenda can be met, and their commerce and go forth.

There are five numbers in this book of Lamentations, and five is the number for "Grace", and it is through this truth of this book that grace shall come. Given in these two verses, sixteen is love, and seventeen is victory in biblical numerics. Now can you start to see the beauty in the depth of understanding that our Father has placed here in the language of our people of the lineage Jacob.

We do have a destiny in these end times, and our minds had better be opened up and all truths known for the times we live in today.

Lamentations 2:18 "Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease."

This is the city of Zion, Jerusalem crying out to the Lord for peace, yet there is none that will listen. The "apple of the Lord's eye" is found in Deuteronomy 32:, and it is Jacob, the natural seed. It is all the children of Jacob to our generation. These children of Jacob, both of the house of Israel and of Judah, all twelve tribes, including Levi, and they cry and mourn because these Kenites, the sons of Cain are taking their place in their home, in the city of Jerusalem.

Lamentations 2:19 "Arise cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward Him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street."

The "watch" starts every three hours in the night, and in the last days we are the watchman for our people. God is telling us to pay attention to what is going on in our day and cry out for the city when we see these wicked things taking place there. When you see the wickedness taking place, lift up your hand and your voice just as you would when you see danger coming toward your little ones. We are living in the time of the end and the wicked one will come very shortly to take his place and perform his role in Jerusalem, and we are to warn our little ones that this time is going to happen. We are not to faint and turn from our watch, and it hurts our Heavenly Father when he sees His children starved for the truth.

When a little child starves and cries out for food, men will steal and go to jail for the sake of feeding their little ones. This is exactly how our Heavenly Father feels when he see the mockery and starvation that is going on even in the church houses of our land.

Lamentations 2:20 "Behold, O Lord, and consider to whom Thou hast done this. Shall the women eat there fruit, and children of the span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sancturary of the Lord?"

Jeremiah is asking, is there going to be such a famine that the woman will turn to eating their own children and canabalism taking place? are the priests and prophets going to be slain in the sancturary and eaten for food? Of course not, but the famine is a spiritual famine for the lack of hearing the Word of God. In a spiritual way, this has come to pass when you think about it. There is very few people today that care enough to prepare themselves to be watchman in our day for the signs of the end times. They allow themselves to be misled by false prophets and false teachers that would give them a false hope, and keep them from understanding the warnings of our day.

Lamentations 2:21 "The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; Thou hast slain them in the day of Thine anger; Thou hast killed, and not pitied."

We know that our heavenly Father does have pity on His own. However this is a play on words to show us that God must allow certain things to come to pass. When Jerusalem fell to Nebuchadnezzar, the city was leveled, and the people were either killed or taken captive. This is exactly what will happen spiritually when the Nebuchadnezzar of our time arrives, who is Satan in the role of Antichrist.

Lamentations 2:22 "Thou hast called as in a solemn day my terrors round about, so that in the day of the Lord's anger none escaped nor remained: those that I have swaddled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed."

The enemy is Satan, and his weapon or sword is his tongue. The terror that comes from Satan's tongue is the lies that come forth as a flood from his mouth. It is the lies of Satan that has consumed God's people. Jeremiah is told by God, you go out and contact for Me and let Me know how many of My people have not been deceived in that day, and report back to Me. Jeremiah found himself to be the only one besides his scribe. When the Babylonians came, they were all taken away or killed, but Jeremiah received good treatment as God told him he would.

Stop and think for a moment, How many Christians are there out there that don't believe in the rapture of some other false tradition that they are hanging their hopes on, that is not in the Word of God? Friend, those that rely on any false doctrine of fly-away fairy tale are putting their hopes in a lie will not be prepared to face a false Christ that is coming and will lead them into spiritual death. They are not going to fly away, but each of us living in this final generation are going to face Satan in his role of the false Christ, and they will be taken instantly.

Christ has laid out in deatil and in the simplicity all the events that would take place prior to His return, yet the church world today still desires to go whoring after the false hopes of false prophets. If you can show me all those that have not pinned their hopes on a false doctrine and I will show you how many the enemy Satan has not devoured. There will be very few. Most Christians today have been taken in by Satan's lies, and the enemy is overflowing them, as it is written in Revelation 12:13-17, which is Satan's deception.
