Luke 20:1 "And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as He taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon Him with the elders,"

"And it came to pass in those days," is a Hebraism, that is seen often in the book of Luke; "v'yahi bemeyi", and each time it is given it always marks a time of trouble ending in blessing. Here Jesus is standing in the temple and preaching the gospel of Christ to the people. Before we go much farther into this chapter, lets mark in our minds who these priests, scribes and elders, and why they hated Jesus so very much. They are to ones that are coming upon Jesus and plotting to do Jesus harm. First for the Scribes.

I Chronicles 2:55 "And the families of the Scribes which dwelt at Jabez [Jerusalem]; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Scuchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hamath, the father of the house of Rechab."

I Chronicles 2:55 gives us the chronological genealogy of the tribe of Judah, as they are returning to Jerusalem. This verse is letting us know exactly who Ezra is bringing back with him to be his scribes, those records keepers. So this also is the detailed list of the families of the scribes, not of the tribe of Judah.

"Kenites" means "sons of Cain". In Strong's Hebrew dictionary, # 7014; "Qayin; kah'-yin'; Kajin, the name of the first child, also a place in Pal., an Oriental tribe, Cain, Kenite." Now lets go to # 7017: "Qiyniy; (I Chron. 5:55) Kee-nee'; from 7014, A Kenite or member of the tribe of Kajin:-Kenite."

So why did they come to mix in with the tribe of Judah? Jeremiah 35 tell us that they also identify themselves not of Judah, but their their father Rechab, and they listen to the voice of Jonadab, Satan, not of God. Jeremiah 36:10 "But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us."

Jeremiah 36:11 "But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, `Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians:' so we dwelll at Jerusalem."

So there can be no mistake in misunderstanding just who these Nethinims are, they are Orientals that are in the temple calling themselves "of God and of Abraham"; we are told here that those scribes coming out of Babylon captivity, to return with Ezra, were fakes. They were not of the tribe of Levi, nor of the lineage of Aaron, but "Kenites", whose father was Rechab and Jonadab, not Abraham. So why do these Kenites have murder in their hearts and minds? They were children of Satan through Cain, from the Garden of Eden. Jesus warned us as He called them sons of Satan to their faces, in John 8:44.

John 8:43, 44 "Why do ye not understand My speech? Even because ye cannot hear My word." [43] "Ye are of your father the devil, [Satan, the devil] and the lusts of your father we will do. He was a murderer [Cain, Genesis 4:8-12] from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." [44]

Jesus was speaking to the priests, scribes, and religious leaders here. The same ones that are coming against Him here in the temple in Luke, as Jesus was preaching the gospel to the People. The trouble in the house of God started many years prior, when David and Solomon allowed the Kenites to cut the wood for the Temple sacrifices. Some 500 years later, by the time of the captivity, the priests had all but abandoned their duties and give them over to these Oriental Nethinims scribes, these sons of Satan through Cain. This verse in I Chronicles 2:55 is one that we should never forget, for it identifies who is keeping our records even today.

Kenites just don't like doing the hard work of most communities, but would rather be doing your thinking for you. If you allow one of Satan's kids, these Kenites, to do your translating from the original manuscripts; no they will not change the manuscripts; but they will change the translation. They will redefine and change certain words of God's Word from the prophets to fit their own traditions. They make it difficult for the English reader to have complete understanding of the Word. In Ezra 8:15 tells us the degree that the Kenites had taken over the priesthood.

Ezra 8:15 "And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the People, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi."

Here Ezra the prophet is returning to Jerusalem, leading some forty three thousand plus people to rebuild the temple, and set up the sacrifices and temple worship. Ezra waited until his group was well on the way before he took account of supplies and who was with him. However in this accounting, he noticed that he had not one son of Levi in the entire wagon train. Wow, these Kenites had completely taken over the priesthood, every last one of them from top to bottom. As you look at how many there are, notice that from Ezra 2:43 - 60, lists only these Nethinims, these are to religious leaders that were going to establish Worship in God's house in Jerusalem.

"Nethinims" means "given to God, for His service". So how can you give the things of God over to Satan's kids and not have those things of God polluted with Satan's tripe? You can't! So we see that these traditions of these Nethimins and their false doctrines entered into the worship of God's people way back in Babylon, coming out of the captivity. This is why these Scribes and religious leaders hated Jesus so much, because Jesus brought the light to shine on their words and deeds and on the enemy Satan and his kids. To this day, the Kenities are still hanging around and wanting to be your scribe and do the interpreting and thinking for you. Jesus addressed this warning to Christians in Matthew 23:1, 2.

Matthew 23:1, 2 "Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to His disciples," [1] "Saying, "The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:"

Jesus is telling us that the scribes sit in the seat of Moses. Moses was the law given, and these scribes are the one tampering and translating the law of Moses into their own traditions, and adjusting the law to suit their own needs. These are the offspring of that band of Kenites that took over the priesthood, way back in the Babylonian captivity. These Kenites worked themselves into the Levitical priesthood, and priest line, as well as our brother Judah in the king line. These bands of Kenites are always close by to keep the records and make adjustments to fit their traditions.

Today we must pay attention to who we are allowing to interpret our Scripture for us, and pay attention to where they are getting their instruction. This wickedness entered the church a long time before Christ faced them here in Luke, and they were seated and in control from the top to the bottom in the temple. Jesus continues in Matthew 23 telling these Kenites who they are and what they do. Jesus gives then the "Woes" that these Kenites have done:

verse 13, woe: "Ye shut up the kingdom of heaven..."

verse 14, woe: "for ye devour widow's houses, for tretense make long prayer;"

verse 15, woe: "for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte,"

verse 16, woe: "make people sware by the temple gold..."

verse 23, 25, 27, and 29 are additional woes that Jesus called to the attention of these Kenites. In verse 33 "Ye serpents, ye generation [offspring] of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?" There is only one way, and that is through their belief and repentance in Jesus name, and that is almost impossible, as we witness today. That could only happen if the Holy Spirit opened that mind to the truth, for these people are the negative part of God's plan. It's their choice. They were the negative part in Jesus day, and they are still the negative part here in these end times.

Matthew 23:34 "Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scorge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city."

Now this is why we come to Matthew.

Matthew 23:35 "That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the Temple and the altar."

One Question: Who slew Abel? Cain of course, even a child knows that Cain slew Abel. So how can you have trouble understanding who the Kenites are? Then Jesus continued: "Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation," these Kenites. Jesus loved the Kenites just as He loves His own People, but they would not come to Him in repentance. God created all souls, and He loves all His children.

Matthew 23:36, 37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not." "Beheld, your house is left unto you desolate."

We have this Kenite element present with us in these end times, just as in Jesus day. We are not to bother them as they go about their business of the negative part of God's plan for these end times of this earth age of flesh man. However if they come against you, you have the power and authority to order them out of your life. God has given you power over all of your enemies. Don't let them excercise their trade on your life, in causing confusion of God's Word. Don't allow their traditions to run your life. Don't let their darkness hide the truth of God's Word from you. Jesus knew these people and what was in their hearts and minds. He knew that they were murderers, and that is what they wanted to with Him; to kill Him.

Luke 20:2 "And spake unto Him, saying, "Tell us by what authority doest Thou these things? or Who is He that gave Thee this authority?" "

This question just asked is a religious question. These Kenites want Jesus to state for the record this religious question; as to by what right or authority Jesus had for doing what He is doing. The second question in this verse is a civil question; Where did that authority come from that gave Him any of His rights. The third question will be a question from the domestic point of view. We are to learn from Jesus' answers of these three questions how we should give answer ourselves, should they come up to us. Jesus has gone into the Temple and laid the whip to the backs of the money changers, and up set their trade system, and released their mite infested birds. Now these religious leaders are asking Jesus, "By what authority did you have for doing those things that you did?"

Luke 20:3 "And He answered and said unto them, "I will also ask you one thing; and answer Me:"

Jesus is turning the table on these Kenites.

Luke 20:4 "The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? "

This is a loaded question, and these religious leaders have a problem with Jesus' question. John was a very popular person, and most of the people believed John the Baptist was a prophet of God.

Luke 20:5 "And they reasoned with themselves, saying, "If we shall say, `From heaven;' He will say, `Why then believed ye Him not?' "

"And they reasoned" in the Greek "sullogisomai": "It implies close deliberation with one another."

Luke 20:6 "But and if we say, `Of men;' all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet."

John the Baptist was the last prophet before the coming of Christ at the first advent. These religious leaders knew that if they belittled John the Baptist, the people would have stoned them to death. So what Kenite wisdom came to the surface here? They didn't want to die, nor did they want to declare that John was sent from God, and they rejected God's prophet.

Luke 20:7 "And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was."

These religious leaders just would not tell Jesus what they thought, for they did not want to commit themselves on either of the points.

Luke 20:8 "And Jesus said unto them, "Neither I you by what authority I do these things."

Friend, if God gives you a gift and the wisdom and understanding to use that gift, that is your authority. So how do you know if it bears authority? That's simple, if you are successful in it, and it goes along with the Word of God, it is a gift. Nothing will prosper against God, in His name. Those things that go against God's Word will be taken down in one form or another. Peter Himself asked this and Jesus answered him in Matthew 16:18

Matthew 16:18 "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

Was Peter "the Rock"? No, the revelation that the Spirit of God gave Him was the Rock. That Rock is given in verse 16 "Thou are the Christ, the Son of the living God." God's church is build of the knowledge and faith that "Jesus Christ, is the Son of the living God". That is the foundation for the gifts that you use in your ministry. We are reminded in Deuteronomy 32:30, 31 that the rock of these Kenites, and our Rock is not the same.

Deuteronomy 32:30, 31 "How should one chase a thousand, And tow put ten thousand to flight, Except their Rock had sold them, And the Lord had shut them up?" [30] "For their rock is not as our Rock, Even our enemies themselves being judges." [31] The driving force behind these Kenites is Satan, and the things that they hold dear and value are not the eternal things that we hold dear. Even so these Kenites are created souls just as we are, and God loved them and wanted to love and protect them also, if they would only come to Him in repentance. To those that will come to Jesus in repentance God gives His authority and protection.

Matthew 16:19 "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Jesus Christ gave us authorities over all of our enemies, and that is your authority as a Christian. God expects you to order those negative things out of your life. This is your authority to practice God's Word and instruction within your daily life. God expects you to take the wisdom that His Spirit has opened to your mind, and use it in all parts of your life, for not only protection, but direction. Proverbs 1:7 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: But fools despise wisdom and instruction."

So this was the answer to the religious question, not we come to the civil question. We live in our land and we must obey the laws of the land. God sets up kings and leaders and ordains then in their power, and in God's time, He takes them down. We don't break God civil laws and we don't break God's religious laws from His Word. We are not to be disobedient to civil law, and if one promotes disobedience, that person is a scribe of evil, and not God's Word.

Luke 20:9 "Then began He to speak to the people this parable; "A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time."

So Jesus is going to answer these scribes and religious leaders in a parable. Civil law deals with matters of the control of the economy, education, politics and religion. These are the four hidden dynasties that are controlling our life's in America today. Satan is using these dynasties to control your life, and now Jesus is going to show us how to get along when these dynasties are in control. Sure we live in that system, and we can work and get along even within Satan's system if we use God's Wisdom and the knowledge from His Word.

Jesus is letting His disciples know that there is going to be two advents, through this parable. Jesus has given many other hints also that there will be a long span of time between his ascension into heaven, and when He shall return. In the parable this certain man planted a vineyard, a farm, and after He planted the crops he left for a long time.

Luke 20:10 "And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty."

Time has passed since this "certain Man" left, and He now wants some fruit from the vineyard that He planted. It's harvest time, and He send a servant to collect some of the fruit. Remember from Genesis 4:2 "And she again bare his brother Abel, And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground." God gave Cain the duty of tilling the ground and being a farmer. Because of Cain's offering to God, God took that right from Him.

Genesis 4:3 "And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord."

Then after Cains offering was rejected by God, Cain slew his brother Abel, and God brought a curse down upon him. Genesis 4:11, 12 "And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;" [11] "When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth." [12] We read above from Jeremiah 35:11, 10 "...Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed: But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us."

The Kenites will own the fields that they have taken from the widows, and force someone else to do the work. They want the control of the fruit that other people have planted and raised from the ground.

Luke 20:11 "And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.

This servant sent here in this verse are the prophets. The prophets were sent away without fruit and gain for the Master.

Luke 20:12 "And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out."

We can consider this third servant to be John the Baptist. John was well known, and had been beheaded by the time Jesus was giving this parable.

Luke 20:13 "Then said the lord of the vineyard, `What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.' "

Of course this is in reference to the time when the virgin would conceive, and the Messiah would be born into the world age of flesh man. This time this Man would send His Only Begotten of the Father, and would they give reverence to Him?

Luke 20:14 "But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, `This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.' "

In other words, when they change the genealogies, and change the context of the Word from the Master, and the identities of who they were, they would then be the rightful heirs to the throne or vineyard. This is what the Kenite scribes have done by adding and taking away words from the Scriptures, and by redefining words and meanings. This is a warning to each of us to know who has slipped in here to represent the Scriptures. This parable is given with all these scribes and Pharisees and priests standing there and listening to what Jesus is saying.

Luke 20:15 "So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?"

This parable tells us that these husbandmen followed through with their plan, and killed or crucified this Son of their Master. This is a good question to you, what do you think this Master will do to these husbandmen on His farm, that killed His only begotten Son? The time is coming when all wrongs will be made right, as nobody will get away with any wicked act or word spoken.

Luke 20:16 "He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others." And when they heard it, they said, "God forbid."

Jesus told these Kenites exactly what would take place, and when they heard the end of the parable, they said, "God forbid", or "may this never happen". These Kenites knew that if that happened, there would be a complete resettling of Israel in that New Jerusalem system, and they would not be included. We know that when Christ returns at the seventh trumpet, this world trade system that Satan and his Kenites have set up will be over and done with. Their merchandising system of Satan's order will come to an end. At Jesus coming as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the false Messiah will be put into the pit, and all evil rudiments or elements of that system will end.

II Peter 3:10 "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the wink the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements [evil rudiments] shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."

We will see in the next chapter those things that shall happen at Jesus coming at the second advent. However before this happens, Satan will be coming to earth, and take over that geographic setting in Jerusalem on mount Olives. The sixth trump must come before the seventh trump. When these Kenites said "God forbid." They knew that it would be taken away from them and given to somebody else.

Luke 20:17 "And He beheld them, and said, "What is this then that is written, `The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner' ?"

Jesus knew that these religious leaders were aware of this quote by David as recorded in Psalms 118:22, 23.

Psalms 118:22, 23 "The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. This is the Lord's doing; It is marvellous in our eyes."

Stop and think of a pyramid with the cap gone off the top of it, then you will under-stand what it is talking about here. The cornerstone is the peak of the pyramid.

Luke 20:18 "Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whosoever it shall fall, it will grind him to power."

This is written concerning the returning of the Messiah. In other words, the time of the return of the Messiah, could be a stumbling stone causing many to stumble. So how could it be possible that the time of the return of Jesus Christ could be a stone of stumbling for those that live in that time? Because if you call yourself a Christian, and you don't know the difference between the coming of Satan, and the coming of Jesus at the second advent, you will be taken by the wrong Christ. The false christ is coming first, and he will be looking, talking and doing the things that most Christians expect Jesus to be doing at His second coming. If you are not skilled enough in God's Word to know that the false Christ is coming first, you will be taken by Satan, and the Chief Cornerstone will cause you to stumble. If you call yourself a Christian, and you are biblically illiterate, you won't know which one to worship when the supernatural fake one appears claiming to be the christ.

Luke 20:19 "And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on Him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that He had spoken this parable against them."

It didn't take long for these Pharisees, chief priests, scribes and religious leaders to figure out that Jesus was telling this parable about them. They were the ones to be crushed in this parable, for they were the wicked husbandmen. They wanted to take Jesus, kill Him, and make an end to Him right then and there; however they were far out numbered by the people, and they knew that to do so would cause an uprising. This is what was spoken of in the fifteenth verse of this same chapter.

The were right that God was speaking against them, but wrong in their assumptions as to how God works, with reference to the Kenites. These Kenites exist for a purpose, and that purpose is to work the negative part of God's plan.

Luke 20:20 "And they watched Him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of His words, that so they might deliver Him unto the power and authority of the governor."

These spies that are working here, are pretending to be followers of Jesus, when in fact they are not. The lied and claimed to be upright followers of Christ, and all the time are taking note of what is said and did for a future trial time. They are going to try to trip up Jesus by using His own words, and take those words to the government. This is a political problem that will turn into a civil matter. So these so called Christians are going to ask Jesus whether of not they should pay their taxes.

Luke 20:21 "And they asked Him, saying, "Master, we know that Thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest Thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:"

This is a good example of what we should do or say, when somebody starts to build you up and elevating you above where you ought to be. This is the first move that Satan and His children use to tare you down. First of all, they didn't believe that Jesus taught rightly, nor that He taught the things of God. No they were play actors, putting on something that they were not. They, followed the Kenite traditions, and could care less about the Word of God. It isn't what is said, but what is in the heart and mind that counts. They are telling Jesus that He doesn't play favorite to anyone, and that He is just to all. If you hear this, it become time to get read for the double cross, for this is Satan's main trick for his method of operation. Though what these people are saying here is true, they are covering over their intent for what they are saying.

Luke 20:22 "Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?"

Now watch what Jesus actions and words to that question are. It is lawful for us as Christians to pay our taxes to Caesar, and to our government over us, or not. It doesn't matter what government is in charge over you, they have the right to collect the taxes, and see to the internal affairs of that government. If you live in a land, you are under the control of that nation, and you pay taxes to that governing body.

Note that if Jesus would have said; no, give it to me, not to Caesar, than they could bring that to the governor, and Jesus could be jailed. Not paying taxes is a very serious charge.

Luke 20:23 "But He perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, "Why tempt ye Me?"

This question was such a stupid question, that it had to come from an idiot, and Jesus called their attention to that very thing. Imagine that, these Kenites tried this dumb trick on Christ.

Luke 20:24 "Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it?" They answered and said, "Caesar's."

Jesus called for a penny, and asked them who's picture was on that piece of money? Of course it was Caesar's.

Luke 20:25 "And He said unto them, "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's"

This could not be any clearer than the way Jesus had worded it here. The things of God belong to God, the tithe is one tenth and it is God's, and not yours to keep. While the things of Caesar, the taxes that keep the government are Caesars, and belong to that governmental body also.

Romans 13:1 "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God."

Romans 13:2 "Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation."

Romans 13:3 "For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same."

God ordains all government, God sets them up and he takes them down.

Luke 20:26 "And they could not take hold of His words before the people: and they marvelled at His answer, and held their peace."

When the religious leaders heard what Jesus said, they had no response to His words. Jesus knew what they were thinking before they set their traps up, and even with their trickery, Jesus had a response for them. It is quite simple, if you owe taxes, then pay your taxes to the government that is over you. The Kenites are trying all the time to come up with new slogans and ways to worship for Christian groups. They sing their songs, show their trinkets and utter their slogan; this is suppose to identify them with Christians, and sometimes they utter something's about "not paying your taxes". Anytime anybody tells you it is spiritual and of God to not pay taxes; mark that man well for he or she is a trouble maker and not of God.

God told us to pay our taxes, no matter what government is over us, for He ordained that Government, and when it is to fall, God will bring it down. Paying taxes is the law of the land in every nation on the face of the earth. When you violate God's laws, God will see to it that blessings are withheld. When you violate the laws of the land, then that government will make you pay the the price for your stupidity. We are a free nation, and our freedom has a price to pay. You pay the price, and our Government does the purchasing of what is necessary to keep that freedom. Men and women work to keep our nation running, to run transportation safely, to check on the systems of the land and so forth. Salaries have to be paid, roads and schools built and taxes are the source of those wages and supplies.

Luke 20:27 "Then came to Him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked Him,"

Remember that the Sadducees don't believe that there is life after death, so this is another form of trying to trap Jesus. So the questions asked here are given like a joke, for no matter what Jesus said, it would be made fun of by these Sadducees. So this is the third question, the domestic attack by the enemy of God, and it pertains to marriage of a woman under the law of Moses.

Luke 20:28 "Saying, "Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother."

So he is calling attention to the law of Moses pertaining to marriage, when there are no children in the marriage.

Luke 20:29 "There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children."

Luke 20:30 "And the second took her to wife, and he died childless."

Luke 20:31 "And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died."

This family was quite weak, or this woman was not able to bear children. Notice that all seven of these brother are dead in this story, and there still not one child has been born in the family by this woman.

Luke 20:32 "Last of all the woman died also."

Keep in mind that this is a bunch of Sadducees making up this case, and in their minds they believe that there is no life after death. They are nonbelievers that believe that there is no life to the soul outside the physical flesh body. These people are playing games with Jesus.

Luke 20:33 "Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife."

What would you answer? They now are all dead.

Luke 20:34 "And Jesus answering said unto them, "The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:"

First of all you have to understand what Jesus is saying here. "world" as used here is "world age" of flesh man. There was a world age before the one we now live in, and souls did not exist in that age in flesh bodies, but in spiritual bodies as the angels have. In the age we now live in, souls enter into our bodies at conception, and we grow into maturity, and marriage is God's way to replenish the earth.

Genesis 1:28 "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over tyhe fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

There is no eternal life in these flesh corruptible bodies, so if there is no replenishing by marriage between male and female, the species dies out. Remember that each soul must pass through this earth age of flesh man once, then comes the judgment. This is the plan of God, for in our flesh bodies God offers the plan of God through salvation under the blood of Christ. So understand that Jesus is talking about earth ages here. Today many Christians still believe that their loved ones are out there in a hole in the ground, not so. "To be absent in the flesh body is to be present with the Lord."

Luke 20:35 "But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:"

"They which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world" are those that are saved and become a Christian in this world age of flesh man. They have obtained the next world age, the eternal world age. Those that are "resurrected from the dead" are our loved ones that have died and are in their incorruptible bodies as the angels have. There are no marriage like we have now in that next earth age after death. Why? Marriage and birth are common only to this earth age of flesh man. There are no weddings between flesh people in heaven because flesh and blood can not enter into the kingdom of heaven. There is only one bridegroom, and that is Jesus Himself, it is all spiritual.

I Corinthians 15:50 "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption."

It just can't happen, for the moment you die, you enter into the kingdom of God, on one side the gulf or the other, on the side of the rich man, or the side of Lazarus, in the bosom of Abraham, from Luke 16:19-31. The two just won't mix, but they will be aware of each other. However Paul goes on telling us of that time when all souls on the face of the earth living at a certain moment in time, will be changed into their new incorruptible bodies as the angels have. The change will come for the sake of those souls living for the next thousand years right here on earth in Jesus Christ's Millennium kingdom. That kingdom will allow those souls to know the truth, and be taught and tested. Then comes the Judgment day as recorded in Revelation 20:11-15.

I Corinthians 15:51 "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,"

This mystery is something that had not been revealed before. In this mystery, a time will come when all souls living in their flesh body will be changed. Why. Because something is about to happen, and flesh and blood corruptible bodies cannot exist in that state.

I Corinthians 15:52 "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

At most funerals this set of verses is preached, and it talks about a time in the future when souls will be raptured. This is not what it is talking about. Again, Paul is revealing a mystery to us, something that shall take place at a certain moment in time. What happens at that moment? The "dead" are those in their physical bodies, and the dead shall be raised or changed into their incorruptible bodies as the angels have. Jesus told you that in, that this body will be equal or as the angels exist in. That can't be to hard to understand.

So at this certain instant or "moment" in time, every human being in their flesh and blood body will be changed, "raised" ["allaso" in the Greek] into their new spiritual bodies, incorruptible, just as the angels have. Why? the last trump, the seventh trump has sounded, and Jesus Christ is coming to earth in all His glory, to set up His Millennium kingdom, and flesh and blood cannot exist in that kingdom. Mankind and the things of importance to the flesh and blood body will not be needed. There will be no sickness, no need for schools for God will place within each mind of those incorruptible bodies the truth from His Word. You won't have to ask your neighbor what is right, for you will know it.

Are you starting to see why Jesus did not want to give answer to those religious leaders when they started to talk about the here after life. Those Kenites couldn't understand that there was a life here after, so how could they even start to understand what goes on after death, or at the seventh trump.

Luke 20:36 "Neither can they die any more: for they are equal ["isangelloi", exactly like] unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection."

This is talking about saved people, "the children of the resurrection," and Jesus is telling you that their soul will never die, that soul is eternal. Why, they obtained their immortality when by faith they came to Christ in repentance, and the blood of Christ washed their sins away. Their soul became eternal when they overcame, and in repentance came under the blood of Christ. Angels are the children of God, and you are a child of God in this earth age of flesh man; you will also be a child of God in your incorruptible body in the eternity. The children of the resurrection are not in flesh bodies, and Jesus is telling these religious leaders that they just don't know what they are talking about.

"Children of the resurrection" have immortality, and their souls will never die. The entire purpose for marriage in this flesh age was to have children, to bring male and female together, to live as a unit of one and multiply. Each created soul is required to be born into this earth age, innocent of the age that was, and chose whether they will follow God or Satan. When each souls has either had, or passed over entry into this earth age of flesh man, the Lord comes, and this earth age is over and we move into the Millennium age. No one is going to die in the Millennium age, or in the eternity; and nobody is going to get born after the seventh trumpet. Once the seventh trump sounds, that's it for the things of the age of flesh man and flesh woman. God is the Father of the living, not the dead.

These old flesh bodies get wore out, banged up from accidents, and in time they pass away. However, when our soul leaves this flesh body, each soul moves into a perfect body that shall never age or get sick. This is what Jesus was trying to tell those "certain of the Sadducees" that were trying to trip Him up. God has much better things to offer you than one of these flesh bodies, which get sick, have pain, and many time are full of problems. Jesus is telling you that those that do over come in the resurrection into their spiritual body, there is no need for those things that this flesh age demands.

Luke 20:37 "Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob."

Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were all dead in the flesh at that time. So why would Moses call on the "God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob" unless he knew that their God was still alive as they were. This happened when God appeared to Moses in the flaming bush. He showed or disclosed this because His testimony was in question.

Exodus 3:4, 5 "And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, "Moses, Moses," And he said, "Here am I." [4] "And He said, "Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground." [5]

Moses had been raised in the Pharaoh's household and thrown out of Egypt and fled to the land of the Kenites. When Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro, his father in law, and a Midian priest, God appeared to him on that mountain, and called out to him from a burning bush. That place and bush was not burned after the fire, and Moses knew he had talked with God.

Exodus 3:6 "Moreover He said, "I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God."

Moses knew that those three were alive with God, that they were in their spiritual bodies, for God is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. In as much as Satan was sentenced to death in that first earth age, would that make Satan dead now? Of course not, for Satan is very much alive, for Satan's death will not take place until after God has used him in the negative part of His plan. Satan's death comes after the great white throne Judgment, after the Millennium age is completed and all souls have been tested and chose to follow him into the lake of fire.

Revelation 20:13 "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works."

Remember that this is after the millennium age, where the testing and judgment is over, and the female souls of this earth age are all considered "sons of God". There is no marriage after death in that kingdom. Then every soul will be judged by his works done in the Millennium age. Remember "the children of the resurrection" whose name was written the Lamb's book of life received their rewards at the seventh trump, at the close of this earth age of flesh man.

Revelation 20:14 "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." [14] "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." [15]

So we see that Satan is very much alive today, in fact at the sixth trump he will be cast out of heaven onto the earth, along with his fallen angels. Many Christians that are ignorant of God's plan will charge out, proud to become married to Satan. Even Satan lives today, for God hasn't killed any soul as of today. Just as God created man, He will inform man's soul if man chooses to follow Satan in disobedience. After the judgment, God will so erase those evil soul from existence that they will not even exist in the minds of their loved ones in the eternity. They will be blotted out of the book of life, and the immortality that those souls of the Children of the resurrection have.

Luke 20:38 "For He is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto Him."

Stop and think on this for a moment. Our Heavenly Father is not a God of the dead, or of hate, He is a God of love and the living. "For all live unto Him", every soul that God created is still living, for there is no dead soul yet. That judgment and death of the soul comes after the seventh trump, after the thousand year Millennium age of Christ's kingdom on earth, and after each soul has been retested and Judged by God Himself. Then comes the lake of fire. All souls live unto God, and they will be either children of the light and the resurrection, or children of darkness of Satan. All souls are now waiting on the Great white throne judgment of our Heavenly Father.

So we see that there is so much confusion in the Christian church of today over these matters, we see that Satan's children of the past have done their work for Satan. Many today believe in soul sleep, which is a doctrine of devils, and they may be spiritual dead, but their souls are very much alive and aware of the choices they have made. Their souls are across that gulf we read of in Luke 16, and they are waiting for their time of Judgment.

However there are a certain group of souls that refuse to enter into this earth age through the womb, and that group was tried back in the first earth age and sentenced to death. If you think that this would be unfair, then you don't understand what happened in that first earth age, where some overcame, while other were so judged as evil. The point here, is if God allowed them to overcome in that first earth age in their spiritual angelic body, same soul, but in a spiritual body; [Romans 8:26] They didn't have the same hang-ups that we do in the flesh. So is it fair that some overcame in the spiritual body, while other are required to over come in their flesh? That's why we are going to have the Millennium age, because God is always fair. God is the God of the living and not the dead, because there is not one dead soul anywhere as of this moment in time.

Those called dead in Revelation, are those that refused to follow God's plan and come into this age of flesh man through the womb, born of woman. Instead the come to earth and took the daughters of Adam to wife, and had children by them. That is what Genesis 6 is all about, and that is why the flood of Noah's time flooded the earth. They left their place of habitation:

Jude 6 "And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day."

Luke 20:39 "Then certain of the scribes answering said, "Master, Thou hast well said."

Luke 20:40 "And after that they durst not ask Him any question at all."

They saw that Jesus had answers to all their question, and that he was one step ahead of them and they couldn't handle Jesus' answers to them. Sure we know the detail behind Jesus answers but without the Holy Spirit, their eyes could not be open to all the truths behind His answers. Jesus taught with simplicity, and He did not mess around with mens' traditions.

Luke 20:41 "And He said unto them, "How say they that Christ is David's son?"

Jesus is now asking these religious leaders one last question. Why do they say that Christ was David's son? Of course we know that Christ was the only begotten Son of God. It was the Virgin Mary, Jesus mother that came through the loins of David.

Luke 20:42 "And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, `The Lord said unto my Lord, `Sit Thou on my right hand,"

Luke 20:43 "Till I make Thine enemies Thy footstool."

This is saying that when death is done away with, all of those things that deal with man in the flesh is gone away also. This was a quote from Psalms 110:1

Psalms 110:1 "The Lord said unto my Lord, "Sit Thou at My right hand, Until I make Thine enemies Thy footstool."

Luke 20:44 "David there calleth Him Lord, how is He then his son?"

Of course we know the answer, for it comes through Jesus' mother, the Virgin birth of Christ.

Psalms 110:2 "The Lord shall send the rod of Thy strength out of Zion: Rule Thou in the midst of Thine enemies."

This verse is in reference to Revelation 19:11-16 when Jesus comes at the second advent to rule the world with a rod of iron. We see from Luke that Jesus did live the perfect life amongst He enemies, these Jewish Kenite religious leaders.

Psalms 110:3 "Thy people shall be willing in the day of Thy power, In the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: Thou hast the dew of Thy youth."

"Thy People" spoken of here are all the people that are under the blood of Christ, and committed to the Father. "In the beauties of holiness" has been changed in the translation from the Hebrew text, However we see from Strong's # 6944 that these people have been sanctified or set themselves aside to do a sacred thing. They are hallowed and dedicated to be that freewill offering to the Lord. These people are God's elect, selected from that age that was, to be delivered up to allow the Holy Spirit to speak through them, just before the coming of the Lord.

Psalms 110:4 "The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever After the order of Melchizedek."

The Lord has spoken the words in His Holy Word, and He will not change those words. God's prophecies thorough His prophets are true and those promises and events will come to pass exactly as God spoke them. Of course this priest spoken of here is speaking of Jesus Christ, and He is "the priest after the order of Melchizedek." There is only one King of peace, for there is no other and He is Jesus Christ.

Psalms 110:5 "The Lord at Thy right hand Shall strike through kings in the day of His wrath."

There will be ten kings, or agencies of that one world religious system that will rule with the dragon, Satan, at the end of this earth age of flesh man. Our Lord Jesus Christ is at the right hand of the Father now, and He will strike dead these kings, or agencies of rule forever at His coming at the seventh trump. That coming will bring this age of flesh man to a close, for all flesh will be done away with at His coming. Jesus is not coming back as a baby in a flesh body, born from a womb, but at His second coming, He will return as the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords; to strike those kings with His rod of iron.

Psalms 110:6 "He shall judge among the heathen, He shall fill the places with the dead bodies; He shall wound the heads over many countries."

Jesus Christ shall judge the people of this earth, and He also shall "fill" [may-ly], the places with the "dead bodies". These "dead bodies" are the fallen angels, spiritually dead, those that came with Satan to reign with him in those final days of this earth age. Until you accept the Messiah and over come, your soul is also still mortal and you are spiritually dead. It doesn't matter what condition your flesh body is in. It is your soul or inner self that must over come.

Satan is the head, and he will be over all the countries on earth for that one hour time of his deception. This has not happened yet, but it shall happen once this one world political system falls and the new world religious system comes to life, brought about by Satan and his religious system. This is described in Revelation 13:1-4. This is why Jesus told us to learn the parable of the fig tree, for His return shall not happen until all the events of the parable of the fig tree are over and completed. Satan's rule on earth at the sixth trump is part of that parable.

Matthew 24:34 "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." You can count on it.

Psalms 110:7 "He shall drink of the brook in the way: Therefore shall He lift up the head."

When Satan's kids lifted up our Lord on the cross, they thought they were ending ending our Lord's mission here on earth, when in fact they had just fulfilled the final step in God's plan, in dooming their father Satan to death. This was prophecy from the Garden of Eden.

Genesis 3:15 "And I [God] will put enmity between thee [Satan] and the woman [Eve], and between thy [Satan's] seed [the Kenites] and her [Eve's] Seed [Jesus Christ; It [Christ] shall bruise thy [Satan's] head, and thou [Satan] shalt bruise His [Christ's] heel."

Jesus Christ's heel was bruised as He was nailed to the cross, and Satan's head will be crushed when all the prophecies dealing with him have been fulfilled. this Psalms 110 gives is our Lord Jesus Christ's office, His power, His authority, and how Jesus freely shares that power with you. This is why we do what we do in the name of Jesus Christ, from repentance to the uses of the gifts of His Spirit that are placed within us as believers.

We are back with Jesus and His disciples again, as He is giving a warning to each of us.

Luke 20:45 "Then in the audience of all the people He said unto His disciples,"

With all the people still in His presence, Jesus turned to his disciples and gave them this warning.

Luke 20:46 "Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;"

Jesus is telling His disciples and those that believe on His name, to beware, look out for these scribes. They like to present themselves in their long robes and fine clothes, and be seen with those in authority in the streets, and today on the television set of your home. They want the high positions in the meeting halls and in your church houses, and at the host's table at the feasts. Today they are the preachers and evangelists that go against the Word of God, for they are the ones that act so religious, but behind the curtain of public view they are something different. They like to be revered, and say they love God's Word, but instead they teach the traditions of men. They will not teach chapter by chapter and verse by verse with understanding, for it would show their traditions to be doctrines not of God but of men. They play religion and church, but lack the Spirit of truth.

Luke 20:47 "Which devour widows houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation."

This is what those scribes do. They think nothing of taking the widows houses, and in the pretext make long prayers of thanksgiving. They stand and tell these widows to give what they have to their church and God will bless them for it, when all the time it goes into their own pockets and builds their own estates. What does God think of these fakes? God hates them! The same, those scribes, preachers, and so on that put on their religious front shall receive a greater damnation at judgment time. God despises them and they will be repaid for every dime and word that they have presented falsely. God hates evil, and those doing evil, for we saw that when He said, I hated Esau, from before his birth, while in his mother's womb. God considers the deeds and words of the scribes evil.

God expects you to study and learn His Word, so that when the scribes come and peddle their words to you, you will see them for what they are. We study God's Word to gain knowledge, and with that understanding, God's Spirit gives us the wisdom to see those stones that Satan leaves in our path. We reverence God, not man, but we respect man when he shows that he deserves that respect.
