Micah This Bible Study is written by Roger
Christopherson, and made available with written

No! the mountains are the nations, and the people in those nation are to hear the voices. That voice is the voice of the Holy Spirit that will speak through us in these latter days. Micah 6:2 "Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD'S controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with His People, and He will plead with Israel." Mountains do not hear voices, but nations do. These nations are Christian nations , which are the children of the 10 tribes that grew into nations in the "End days." God will plead with these people, through planting of the seed of the word of God. Even though their ears are closed, the seed must be planted that the Holy Spirit will make grow. Be patient. Micah 6:3 "O My People, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against Me. God is asking his people; "How have I hurt you? Give me one example. Micah 6:4 "For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam." God is reminding the Israelites, or today commonly called Christian Nations, how He brought our Ancient ancestors out of Egypt with Moses, Aaron, and Miriam. God is reminding us of all the freedoms He gave them, with the miracles of protection, and feeding He gave them for forty years. Micah 6:5 "O My People, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD." God delivered them, even Balaam and his love for money. He is the one who had to have his donkey lead and talk to him. Micah 6:6 "Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?" Relate this to the whining Christian of today. How can I get in good with God, So he'll be on my side? Wondering how he can buy out God. Micah 6:7 "Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with then thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn of my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?" In the mind of many people today, they relate everything to price, fame, or position, but in God's eyes you have nothing to give but your love and worship. The richer a man gets, the more he relates his salvation to his prosperity, even his "Sons and daughters" (Fruit of my body). Only a Kenite would pervert God's Words and would make statements like this. Why? What they are offering to please God just shows their ignorance of God's word. In II Kings 16:3, This is one of the things God ordered them not to do, and that is to offer your kids as an offering for your sins. God said, your the one who thought up the idea of offering your sons to Moloch in the fire, it never entered my mind. Israel turned to follow the abominations of their heathen neighbors. Micah is addressing our generation. Look around you and see the heathen customs we're using today to appease God. Most of the TV. preachers, and those in most denominational churches are so twisting God's word, for the sake of money, fame, and just a job; their actions reveals how low many have come to playing church. They are just as ignorant as those Israelites that were burning their children to a god with no remorse, deaf ears, blind eyes, with no regard to life. Do you know how to appease God in these final days, or are you listening to the "one verse teachers"? Are you aware of what God has told us to do, and what not to do? While God has blessed our nation like none other on the face of this earth. Christians have sat back and griped, and let it slip into a period of decay, and are now blaming God, for their own sins. Micah 6:8 "He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good: and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" The majority of God's people are biblically illiterate. God's answer to Verse 6 & 7, is that he has showed them in his word. God simply wants you to be just, to show love to others when it is needed, have mercy on others around us, and walk humbly with our Lord God. To show respect to our Heavenly Father. Is that asking to much? The Word of God is the living Word, and it will show you how to live and satisfy our Heavenly Father. Micah 6:9 "The LORD's voice crieth unto the city, (and the man of wisdom shall see Thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it." The voice that crieth is from the Word of God; and the man of stability will understand that they are following God's word, and when they sway from God's word, it is God that will correct them in His love. Micah 6:10 "Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?" God is asking; are their still crooked business people out there? Do you know people who rip others off, or churches out there that create vows and gimmicks that rip off the poor? They will ride the elderly high on a gilt trip, to take money necessary for their survival. They hid the truth of God's word that gives their flocks the common sense to protect themselves from the wolves of the world; and in many cases, they are the wolf. Micah 6: 11 "Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights?" This is an abomination to the Lord, yet to many, it is the modern day way of business. They cheat on their measurements until their caught, then they only adjust things if they find that things outweigh the penalty. Micah 6:12 "For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth." Their weights are unbalanced, and so is their tongue. Their dealings are full of lies and deceptions, and not to be trusted. They lie! Micah 6:13 "Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins." Our People are loosing their reality to just plain decency. They can't figure out the difference between mental insanity, and creative sanity. There are no limits, bounds, and just plain morality to our people at large, for they have slipped into the mind set of a perverted wordly system, such as Noah faced. God will make you sick of it. Does that ring a bell? turn to Matthew 24:37 and see what Jesus said about this frame of mind. Micah 6:14 "Thous shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy casting down shall be in the midst of thee; and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and that which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword." Here God is going to tell us exactly what He will do, as our people continue in their walk of perversion, and disobeying the Law of God. God says you can eat all you want and you'll still be empty. What ever you try to do will not be successful. You may try to save a little, but that will be wiped out. Your just going to have a miserable life, when you don't do it God's way. Micah 6:15 "Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt now anoint thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine." The harder you work to get ahead, the more you will fail . There is a negative force in this world, which are the Kenite and their followers. These are the people that God uses to correct His children. When we don't do as God told us to do, then the curses of (Deuteronomy 28: 15-68) will take place in our lives. It's an experience to read the Deuteronomy. 28, because when we get through, we will have no doubt as to what God expects of us, and the blessings or curses that result from our actions. There are few things in this end times that are sure, yet these positive and negative promises are sure. Micah 6:16 " For the statues of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of My people." When people continues to break God's laws He will bring them down. Mankind will not escape the reproach of God's curses. However when they do it God's way there will be blessings. Omri, the King of Israel, sinned and drug Israel into idolatry, and God scattered the people. When you follow the many forms of idolatry today, Duet. 12:26-28 give us our outcome, which is the curses of God.
