THE PROVERBS Chapter 6"Wisdom's Call." This

transcription/ location When the Word of God comes to light in ones mind, it is the Spirit of God that allows it to happen. Then God watches and judges what is done with the knowledge and wisdom that he has put into an individual's mind, and He takes account with what you do with the knowledge that He has allowed you to have. Remember that God's judgment begins at the pulpit, and this is the reason that every man that teaches God's Word should take the time to research the Word as well as those tools of the languages that the Word was written in, to rightly divide the Word before it is passed on the others. The Scriptures that are being taught had better be understood to the best of that teachers ability, and presented exactly as God had intended it to be given. The teacher will be held accountable before the throne of God, for each word will be judged in the most sever sense if there is a misleading of one of God's children under that teacher. God is most sensitive about messing around with one of his little ones, no matter what their age. When someone messes around with your children's minds don't you get a little touchy about what is being taught them? Well, don't you think that God is the same way about His children? The foundation of all learning to our children should be that "the beginning of all knowledge is the reverence of God". [verse 1:7] Why? Because all of our wisdom comes from God. He created and formed the universe and all that is in and a part of that universe, including you. God laid a plan out governing that universe and our present world age, and he wrote it down through the prophets and apostles, and from the mouth of His Son Jesus Christ. To be successful in life, including your business life, it becomes essential to follow the principles that are set forth in His Word. When you do it God's Way, God blesses you. This book of Proverbs gives us a set of rules to follow that will help us in all avenues of our life, as instructed by our heavenly Father. So lets continue in Proverbs. Proverbs 6:1 "My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, If thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger," The word "IF" should be added to the front of this verse, as it is a condition. The stranger here is the "zur", he is an apostate. That should be a clue that we are speaking here of "religion". "Nakar" is an foreigner to our spiritual religious system. This "zur" is an apostate that was once a believer just like you are, only he or she has listened to another foreign teaching, and set in another direction than our Father's Way. Of course "surety" even today means that you commit your wealth and word on their behalf. And to seal the deal or agreement, "thou hast stricken thy hand", or shook hands to commit yourself to their ways. God is telling us here that we had better be very careful just who we put our name, wealth and character [word] on the line for; especially if it is an apostate. Now we will see the distance that God expects us to maintain between us and the apostate with regards to our worship. Apostates always appear on the surface to be heading in one direction, yet their drawing is always to another empty religious direction. Remember that the wisdom of God's Word comes from the entire Word, chapter by chapter and verse by verse, rightly dividing all of the Word. Proverbs 6:2 "Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, Thou art taken with the words of thy mouth." Again the Word "IF" should be added as a condition. "If thou are taken by the words of your mouth with this "zur" or apostate": It means that your own agreement with this apostate has trapped you into something that is against God's instructions from His Word. Proverbs 6:3 "Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, When thou art come into the hand of thy friend; Go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend. After you have made this agreement and you realize exactly what you have done; God is telling us to swallow your pride, and go to him and ask him to release you from that vow. Sure, it was your mouth that got you into it, and it may be your pocket book that has to get you out of the agreement. You have been made the surety of the agreement to this apostate, and more than likely it will cost you something, but do it quickly as possible when it comes to your knowledge. God doesn't appreciate you taking the blessings that he has given you, to stand surety for another that is against God, even if it was done in ignorance. This is not talking about immediate family, father standing in for son; but for friends outside your immediate family. Proverbs 6:4 "Give not sleep to thine eyes, Nor slumber to thine eyelids. This reference applies to the quickness that you move to release yourself from the surety that you gave in support of a "zur" or apostate. Don't sleep on a bad agreement. Proverbs 6:5 "Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the fowler." God is telling you to fight your way out of that surety trap, just as a wild animal [roe] would fight to release itself from a trap that it has fallen into. Don't sit back and let time pass until it is to late. Apply this to the spiritual sense, and to entrapping yourself into a church that does not teach the truth of God's Word. God does not want you to sit around and cruise with the congregation to their islands of strange religious ideas. Stay away from their financial agreements, such as the taking of vows or commitments with that group. It should be obvious why this is? Proverbs 6:6 "Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:" The subject of this verse goes into another direction. Now Father's wisdom is dealing with the lazy people. A sluggard is one that just refuses to take part in anything constructive. This is directed to those lazy people and he is telling them to go out to a ant hill, sit down and spend a little time watching what they do. You will never see a better worker than in what the ants do, just to get their job done. When they have a line on some food, they make tracks to get their supplies in the store for the winter. God doesn't like lazy people. Proverbs 6:7 "Which having no guide, Overseer, or ruler," The ants have no ruler or chief over them, they just set on to the task and do what they know needs to be done. Proverbs 6:8 "Provideth her meat in the summer, And gathereth her food in the harvest." The ant take the food where ever it is and how ever God has provideth for them. When the ants see the food and crumbs on your table, they know what to do, and they do it with no hesitation. The ant knows it's time of work from the time of rest. Proverbs 6:9 "How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? When wilt thou arise out of thy sleep." Again, this is wisdom speaking to a lazy person: Those that enjoy putting off today's duties to another day and time. Proverbs 6:10 "Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep:" The "folding of hands", is an idiom meaning that those hands are idle and not doing anything. Wisdom is calling this lazy person an "idle, lazy, sluggard". Again, God doesn't like sluggards. By your doing nothing, you anger God. If you expect blessings from God, being a sluggard before the Father does not help your position. Remember what our Lord said our garments would be made of once we get to heaven? Revelation 19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready." This time is following the seventh trumpet, the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, and Christ's marriage to His bride [those that go to make up His Church]. Revelation 19:8 "And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints." What you wear and the position you hold at that marriage supper, and in Christ's kingdom is made of your righteous act. That's right, your works done in the name of, and for Christ, grants you what ever position you shall hold in Christ's kingdom. No, I am not saying that you buy your way into the kingdom, but it becomes a matter of what you do for Him, and where you collect your rewards for those works that you do for our Lord. God doesn't like lazy people, and most people don't either. Proverbs 6:11 "So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, And thy want as an armed man." "Poverty" as used here accounts for those things you need to meet your bare necessities in life. This is directed to the sluggard, the lazy person, and they become satisfied in their "dal", their impoverished and reduced state, to the point to where they feel like attacking others to get their necessities in life. In a spiritual sense this describes much of the church world today, that has become satisfied sitting back and accepting their spiritually impoverished condition. What good are you when you can't take care of yourself, yet alone your family. If you can not take care of your family, then what good are you to Father, and the work set before us. If the gospel of Christ and God's Word goes forth, it is by you and I, living in our flesh bodies. That is our task here on earth, and not the angels, nor any other form of life. If you can't do the task that God has put you in the flesh here on earth, then the ant is worth more than you are. God's wisdom is saying that the sluggard person forces himself into approaching heaven as an armed bandit, and that is dangerous ground. Proverbs 6:12 "A naughty person, a wicked man, Walketh with a froward mouth." "Naughty person" best translated from the Hebrew text is "a man of Belial", that is a "worthless person". His words are perverse [froward] and you just can not trust what he or she says. In a spiritual sense, he is quick to pick up any strange and false doctrine that he hears, and it become part of him. This person thinks on those strange doctrine to the point of it becoming part of his conversation and acts. It is all part of Baal worship and idolatry, and because of their [these zur's] ignorance of God's Word, they pick up false religious doctrines and build their apostate religion. This type of apostate likes to disagree with you about everything dealing with the Word. You will never come to a mutual understanding with them, unless you accept their false doctrines, and get down to their level of understanding. The apostate sets the rules for the spiritual games they play, and they expect you to abide by them. Don't. Proverbs 6:13 "He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, He teacheth with his fingers." This verse assumes that there is a third part present with you and that naughty person. This apostate or Zur's actions are not for your sake, but to downgrade you in the presence of another person. We see it commonly by the use of the facial expressions, their use of winking, pointing of their finger in your face, and the way that they move their feet. These false teachers give you their false teaching, and make a mockery of you when you do not accept their ideas. They present their words as being from God's Word, when in fact it comes from their own imaginations. This type become an expert on the bible after a very short time of being saved, and they are willing to share their new ideas with you. The problem is that they are babes in the would, and they want to pass their milk off on you as if it were the spiritual meat of the Word. The point is that they have picked up their doctrines from all over the place, and they do not have the foundation to know what is of God, and what is not. Be careful of who you listen to in receiving your spiritual food. Remember that the one speaking with a "froward mouth" starts moving his tongue before it is in gear with his brain. The "teaching with fingers" is the tool of the magician and the deceptive acts of a smooth slick talker. If asked a question on God's Word, he will make something up rather than admit that he doesn't know. That third party that this person is putting this act on for, is Satan. Proverbs 6:14 "Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; He soweth discord." This type of "Frowardness" is a different that the "frowardness" of the prior verse. In the prior verse it dealt with the person that was spiritually perverted, while this verse deals with someone that is outright deceitful. This person is well planned in what he does, and what he says and does comes from his mind. The other form of frowardness dealt with a person with a loud mouth that never thought of his actions before hand. Every thing this person does is will coordinated with his eyes, his feet and his fingers. We see this type of person behind the pulpits designing their every thought toward having you fill their begging bags with your money. "He deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord." This person thinks that he is planting seeds for Christ when he sows his seed. They use lines like, "Do you love Jesus?" Salvation is not to be mocked, but these people use the precious things of God's Word to get you to listen to them. They enter a group and from the time they enter, cause discord and confusion to split the group. God hates a person that sows discord for he is a trouble maker. Proverbs 6:15 "Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; Suddenly shall he be broken without remedy." Once the intent of that person that sows discord is discovered, he is branded by the group; and his words will not be accepted again. Sure, God doesn't like a sluggard, but he hates a person that sows discord. The day of no "remedy" has not come yet, but it is not far away. That day is at the seventh trumpet, when our Lord returns. Proverbs 6:16 "These six things doth the Lord hate: Yea, seven are an abomination unto Him:" Today the idea of modern thinking is that "God doesn't hate". Well mark these seven things will for God is letting you know there are some things that He hates. There are six that are disgusting to Him, but the seventh is an abomination to Him. Let's look at them: Proverbs 6:17 "A proud look, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood," "A proud look" is pride, and that was what caused Satan's fall in the earth age that was. Ezekiel 28:17 "Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness..." This was the cause of the overthrow, the i.e. "Katabole Kosmou" that brought on this second earth age of flesh man. Jesus told us in Matthew 13:35; "That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, "I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world." The parables that Jesus spoke were of things that happened but were unknown to flesh man living in this earth age. The hatred of the proud look or pride of Satan came from that first earth age, and before the "Katabole Kosmou" that caused the destruction of that first earth age that we read about in Genesis 1:2. The "lying tongue" is second on the list of God's hates. "Hands that shed innocent blood" is third on the list, and this includes all of those that either plot or take active part in a murder [homicide]. Proverbs 6:18 "An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, Feet that be swift in running to mischief," This heart that deviseth wicked imaginations" is a dreamer that goes away from the true teachings of God, to chase after their own imagination and idolatry. You know them as those that constantly have familiar spirits talking to them. They say; "God talked to me today", as they ramble on of things that have nothing to do with God's Word. God hates it. "Feet that be swift" is the fifth thing that God hates. Proverbs 6:19 "A false witness that speaketh lies, And he that soweth discord among brethren." Sure, "the false witness that speaketh lies" or gossiper is hated by God, but this seventh is the number one on God's hit list. It is the one thing that God has singled out that causes him the most hatred. "He that soweth discord among brethren" is the one that sets up the trouble and brings on the discord amongst God's children. If you plant the seeds of discord amongst the brethren, God considers you an abomination. Go back to verse 16; "Yea, seven are an abomination unto Him." If you are one that likes to gossip and bear false witness, you are skating on very thin ice. God has told you very clearly those that He hates the worse; those that sow discord among the brethren, troublemakers. Proverbs 6:20 "My son, keep thy father's commandment, And forsake not the law of thy mother:" "Father's" as used here is YHVH Father, while mother refers to mother Israel, the seed from which the Messiah would come. The commandments spoken of here are the ten commandments, while the law includes the rest of the law, with the statutes and ordinances. Those ordinances dealing with animal sacrifice were fulfilled at the cross of Christ. Proverbs 6:21 "Bind them continually upon thine heart, And tie them about thy neck." Learn those commandments and God's laws and bind them in your mind. Make them the standard for your life, and retain them throughout your entire life. Your neck is the weakest point of your body, and this is to say that if you have God's Word in your mind, that wisdom is protecting the weakest point of your body. Proverbs 6:22 "When thou goest, it shall lead thee; When thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; And when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee." That wisdom from God's Word will lead you and protect you as you live your life, as well as when you are asleep. It gives you peace of mind. Wisdom is part of the Holy Spirit of God, and you obtain that wisdom by your studying His Word, all of it from Genesis to Revelation. The sluggard thinks that the Holy Spirit will give him the full Word without studying, however with the Word in your mind, the Holy Spirit will bring His Word to your memory as it is needed. There is only one time that we are not to premeditate what we shall say concerning the Word, and that is when we are delivered up before the false messiah, as recorded in Mark 13:11...and that time has not come yet. Proverbs 6:23 "For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; And reproofs of instruction are the way of life:" When you take the instruction from God's laws and commandments it will lead you into the way of eternal life. Proverbs 6:24 "To keep thee from the evil woman, From the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman." This evil woman is a "zur", an apostate. One that was of the true faith that has gone whoring after strange religions and into idolatry. However we know that in these end times it is sister Babylon of the one world system that will bring in the apostate religious form of the end times. How will this flattery come about? It will come by confusion, deception, and the sewing of discord amongst the brethren. The "strange woman" as given here is "Nakar", that person of a heathen foreign religion. Some of the teachings of the heathen religions can sound so good and spiritual, yet be against God's Word. Many churches today take in the practices of heathen religions, and adopt them to appear to be Christian, then set those traditions over God's Word. Proverbs 6:25 "Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; Neither let her take thee with her eyelids." This can be taken in the physical sense, however it is given in the spiritual sense. Many churches dress themselves up to appear to be so spiritual with their welcome mat out, yet they present nothing but traditions and false doctrines dressed up to be beautiful in your mind. Jesus expects you to remain a virgin bride for himself at his return. However if you have been taking part in those whorish religions and all their ways, you will not be acceptable to Him. If you are unlearned in His Word, you could be an abomination to God through your actions and still not know it. How can you please God if you are ignorant of what God expects from his bride. Proverbs 6:26 "For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: And the adulteress will hunt for the precious life." There are many different ideas of what this verse says, and in a sense there is more than one meaning for this verse. In one sense it means that there will be so many harlots in that day that sister Babylon rides the earth on her new world order [church], in that day prostitutes will be so many that all they will be able to charge is a meal [bread]. However in the other side of thinking on this verse, this is talking about fake religions, and those things, their traditions and false doctrines that these spiritual harlots [men or women] have to peddle just will not have any value. There is no gender within this verse, for it could also apply to a apostate man leading a Christian woman astray. The feminine is used here, because the reference is given to the harlot of the end times, spoken of in Revelation 17:5; "And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." Mystery Babylon is none other that all those that are suppose to be Christ's bride, but who were deceived by Satan in his role as the Antichrist [the instead of Christ]. Sure they do things very religious, but there is just one problem, and that is that they are biblically illiterate. There religious form is not based on God's Word, but from their traditions formed out of those apostate religious forms. Be very careful to what you listen to, and who you listen to. There is nothing that any one can give you, that Christ hasn't already given you free. All wisdom flows from our heavenly Father, and from His Word, and not from a man. The strange "whorish woman" is a "zur", an apostate that gives up their professed religious belief for a foreign religion. That is something that you simply do not want to become part of. This is instructions from the mouth of God, and it is to be followed. Jesus Christ is the only true bread, and when you partake of holy Communion, that is the only bread that we take of. If you start nibbling on the bread of false teaching and doctrines, there will be no spiritual nourishment for your soul, and its end could cause the death of your soul. Be aware that at the coming of Satan in his role of Antichrist, the first thing that he does is to end the "daily oblation" the daily sacrifice, which in New Testament times is the Communion table. Christ is our daily spiritual bread, every day of the week. Proverbs 6:27 "Can a man take fire in his bosom, And his clothes not be burned?" Can you take the hot coals from a fire, and stick them down your neck without both you and your clothes being burnt? Of course not, both you and your cloths will get burned. Apply this spiritually, for there is no way that you can play around with any fake religion without getting hurt spiritually. It becomes a warning that playing around with strange fire or doctrines and cause you to lose your very soul. Proverbs 6:28 "Can one go upon hot coals, And his feet not be burned?" If you step on hot coals you will feel the pain and burn your feet.
Proverbs 6:29 "So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; Whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent." Keep this is a spiritual sense, if your neighbor is in another religious form than what is taught in the Scriptures, you had better be careful of what you pick up for him or her. God expects you to look at the real world that He created, and use you common sense and wisdom in your worship of Him. Wisdom will not allow foolishness to be used in the worship of Him. God is not a fool, He is YHVH the creator of all things, and He has set to order of our worship of Him. He wrote those instructions in His Word through the Prophets, Apostles and through the mouth of Jesus Christ. God does not tolerate sluggards and fools. Be careful when you enter another man's house that is not God's house. Proverbs 6:30 "Men do not despise a thief, if he steal To satisfy his soul when he is hungry;" You can understand a thief that breaks into your house to steal a piece of bread when his family is home starving. You can understand that, for that is understandable. Proverbs 6:31 "But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; He shall give all the substance of his house." The penalty to this thief that stole the bread would be two fold. Remember the most ever given under the law was four-fold. However this giving back, as a penalty on the part of the thief that stole the bread was everything that he had. This thief felt so bad for what he had done, he would go far beyond what the law of God or man required, that he would give his all. We see that in his heart there is true repentance for what he had done. This is goes along with common sense, and eases the conscience. If a man gets to the point of starvation for his family, it becomes a matter of eating or dying. When the urges to live in this man that is saved, he is willing to go to great sacrifice for those he loves, yet after the fact, there is true repentance with in his sole. Proverbs 6:32 "But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: He that doeth it destroyeth his own soul." In the physical sense, adultery is not the unforgivable sin. Still the woman mentioned here is "zur", so this has to do strictly with the spiritual sense. It deals with the apostate, and the fooling around with foreign religions and traditions that go against the Word of God. It is speaking of those that think so little of their spiritual condition, that they would flirt with heathen religions, and take on the traditions of men. If you allow another person to come at you with enticing words of their word caused you into believing something that goes against the Word of God, it is your soul that you are fooling around with. It is not your property that is about to be lost eternally, but your eternal soul, seven fold, completely, when you play around with fake religions. Proverbs 6:33 "A wound and dishonour shall he get; And his reproach shall not be wiped away." "The wound and dishonour" is the disgrace our soul before the Father. There are two messiah, and two comings of messiahs. One is a fake and the other is for real. One is at the sixth trump and the second is at the seventh trumpet. Our Lord comes at the seventh and last trump, and when he comes he expects to find his virgin bride of believers waiting for him faithfully, not having committed the role of the whore with the false christ. If you are disgraced at that time of the sixth trump, that reproach shall not be wiped away. Proverbs 6:34 "For jealousy is the rage of a man: Therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance." Jealousy is the most fierce rage of a husband, when he has found his true wife to have gone whoring at his absence. Christ is the husband, and we are the bride of Christ at his return. His return is at the "day of vengeance", the seventh trumpet. That day of vengeance is the time when Jesus Christ takes vengeance on all His enemies. This is pointing to that day of the Lord, when Christ makes all things right. Those things that happen on that day are given in detail in Deuteronomy 32:1-43, and according to Revelation 15:3; " And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb..." This is what the saints will be singing at the return of our Lord Jesus Christ to earth to start His Millennium kingdom. There is no mystery to the bride that wisdom is talking about on this day of vengeance. Proverbs 6:35 "He will not regard any ransom; Neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts." On that day of vengeance it simply doesn't matter what you have to give, lands, money or any form of wealth, for it all will be considered worthless in the eyes of the Lord, if you have been found committing whoredoms with heathen religions. On the day of the marriage wedding of the Lamb with His bride, if you are not part of the bride, you lose. On that day there is no repentance for anything you have done that will get you into that wedding garment, when you stand a zur, a spiritual whore, that has turned your back on the instructions that our Lord has given you through His Word. You missed the first resurrection, and the initial wedding. Sure there will be another wedding at the end of the Millennium age, however those that make that wedding will enter only by their works done during the thousand year Millennium age period. Then at the great white throne judgment we read: Revelation 20:12 "And I say the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." This age of the flesh is the time of Grace, however after the seventh trumpet, no flesh will remain, and all souls will be in their spiritual incorruptible bodies, with complete understanding of God's Word. So at the close of the Millennium age, each of the dead, those souls that did not take part in the first resurrection, will be judged by what they did with the knowledge they had, by their works done during the time of the Millennium age. Those saved out of the Millennium will attend the second marriage supper, and enter eternity, but it will still be because of the blood of Christ. Christ is the only way to eternal life.
