THE PSALMS Chapter 100 "Worship, in View of Rest Anticipated." "Exhortation to Worship, Entrance into His Presence. [1-2]" "Three Declarations of What YHVH is. [3-5]" This Bible Study is is provided by http://www.theseason.org/ and shared with permission from it's author R. Christopherson The Sabbath is a time that is coming to stop and teach, and prepare and correct and our Sabbath is Jesus the Christ. This chapter, like the chapter prior to it, is looking forward to that time when Jesus is here on earth with us in His heavenly kingdom. Psalms 100:1 "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands." Even the land of this earth are looking forward to that time when Jesus returns. Psalms 100:2 "Serve the Lord with gladness: Come before His presence with singing." When you are serving the Lord, let that time be a joy to you. If it becomes a burden, then it is not done as unto the Lord. Let it be a joy in your life, especially when you understand the promises that our Lord has made to you. When things aren't going well for us, that is the time that we can call to him, and He gives us the strength to see us through those tough times. Serving our Lord is not a burden, but a true joy in our lives. Psalms 100:3 "Know ye that the Lord He is God: It is He That hath made us, and not we ourselves: We are His people, and the sheep of His pasture." There is no other God, for Satan only thinks he is a god. He is not, for he is a created being just like you and I. God is the one that created our very beings, and we had nothing to do with it. As Revelation 4:11 states; "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created." If you know and understand Who our Father is, and follow Him, then you become "His people and the sheep of His pasture". The "pasture" is where the sheep are fed, and God's sheep are fed from His Word. We consume the spiritual food from the Word of God [the Bible] for our minds, and that food gives us strength for our everyday lives. That food guides us and points us the the direction that our Father would have us go. Within this verse are the very ways that Satan went wrong, as is pointed out in Isaiah 14. Satan forgot that he was a created being, and tried to elevate himself to play the role of God. Satan felt in his heart that he created himself, and allowed his pride to control his every move. Pride is causing many people to fall, as they place a high-minded self importance to their lives. Pride is spiritual poison and will bring you down. God created the flesh body, male and female, and the process within that body to regenerate itself through the birthing process for this earth age. God created the flesh body, the pattern that has regenerated itself from umbilical cord to umbilical cord, from generation to generation to this final generation. The miracle will be our Heavenly Father. This earth age of flesh man is coming to a close as the last of the souls that God created is placed in the embryo at conception. All souls must go through this process, born of a woman, and given a choice to serve God or Satan; and then this earth age of flesh man will end. When will that be? At the seventh trump, for our Lord will return to this earth, and all souls living in their flesh bodies at that time will then be changed into their incorruptible bodies. Each will spend the next thousand years living in Jesus Christ's kingdom right here on this earth. Some [the elect, those seal in their minds and holding to the end] will have received their rewards and reign as joint-heirs with Christ; while most will be in their mortal, but incorruptible bodies that will face the great white throne judgment at the close of the thousand year period. For us living today, when we allow His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, to control and lead our spirit, then we have the power of God within us. We are then feeding from His pasture, and become the sheep of His pasture. Nobody can take you from His hand. Jesus told us in John 10:27-30 of His relationship to His sheep. John 10:27, 28 "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me:" "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand." John 10:29, 30 "My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand." "I and My Father are one." Those sheep of our Father's pasture will not be deceived and follow Satan, for they know Father's voice when He calls and know where they get their spiritual food from. Psalms 100:4 "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise: Be thankful unto Him, and bless His name." Know the gates that you are to enter, and be thankful that the Holy Spirit has led you through those gates. This verse leads the way, first to "enter", then "praise", then be "thankful" to Him, and "bless His Holy Name", YHVH. Remember from Psalms 96:11 that the acrostic was given through the manuscripts to reveal that holy Name; "YHVH". "Yismehu Hashshamayim Vethagel Hadrez." This is the the first letter of the phrase from that verse: "Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad;" Not every one will enter through those gates of His temple in the millennium age, but only those that stayed true to the end. We are told of these priests of the Zadok in Ezekiel 44, they are the first fruits, for would not bow a knee to Satan, but each stood firm in the Lord. They are the only ones allowed in His gates. Psalms 100:5 "For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; And His truth endureth to all generations. "YHVH is good." The truth of God's holy Word will be taught by one method or another to every generation. In this final generation it is becoming harder and harder to teach the truth from His Word because of the false doctrine and traditions that are taking over in the church houses today. However, there are some that will stay with the truth to the end, and they shall enter into the gates of the Lord. But most just will not care what the Word says, and will become part of Satan's system and worship him in the end. Satan will deceive the world with his deceptions and lying wonders, but in the end Satan will turn on those deceived. Our Lord's mercy is offered to all generations of people that will heed to His Word, and follow Him. Those promises, each and every one of them are given to you, no matter what generation you are living in, for they are eternal. The truth of God's Word, as well as our Lord Jesus Christ, is a true today, as the moment that the Words were written down by the prophets and apostles, to be recorded forever in His Word. _______________________________________________________________________________________
