Psalms 112 continues from Psalms 111 with the same subject.

Psalms 112:1 "Praise ye THE LORD.

"Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord,

That delighted greatly in His commandments."

"Praise Ye the Lord"; "Hallelujah". Do you fear or revere the Lord, and delight in His commandments? We should delight in the commandments and laws of our Lord, and there when there is talk of the laws and commandments not being right or to restrictive; remember those laws and commandments are to guide you to your good physical and mental health. We should be "delighted greatly" that our Lord loved us so much that He would give us a guide to live our lives by.

Psalms 112:2 "His seed shall be mighty upon earth:

The generation of the upright shall be blessed."

God's seed, the "upright" which is the God's Elect, the Zadok shall be blessed. God has sent His Word to us, and don't you feel blessed when you can read it with understanding. Most Christians today simple do not have the understanding for their spiritual eyes are closed. It is a blessing when you can read and take your instruction from God's Word.

Psalms 112:3 "Wealth and riches shall be in his house:

And his righteousness endureth for ever."

This you can count on, for God takes care of His own. His righteousness can be counted on all the time. The wealth that God gives is not measured as the world measures wealth, for how can anything in this world compared to eternal life, and the peace of mind that He gives us in this age of flesh man.

Psalms 112:4 "Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness:

He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous."

Stop and think for a moment what this is saying. With all the spiritual darkness that is covering this world, there is light to those of the Elect, to God's Upright, which are the Zadok, for those that seek it. We are living in the final generation of this earth age of flesh man, and the earth is being covered over with confusion and wickedness. In this blackest hour, Jesus told us what to expect, to learn the parable of the fig tree. Even with all this darkness around us, God gives His light to those that will seek it. You don't have to wait, it is you right now. Our Heavenly Father is good, and He is especially good to those that love and wait on Him.

Psalms 112:5 "A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth:

He will guide his affairs with discretion."

This is the long way of saying that the good man uses common sense. In our day, it is obvious that most people do not use common sense, prudence with their time, money, actions and the words that come out of their mouths. Common sense is putting order in your life, and in the things you say and do. It is such a precious thing to have.

Psalms 112:6 "Surely he shall not be moved for ever:

The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance."

God is not like the wind that blows one way at one time and the other way at another time. He is sure and fast in His ways. God will never forget you no matter how hard your days become, or the confusion that is happening around you. God hears your prayers at all times, and He is there for those that call out to him. God is not a stone idle, he is not a tree, but He is you loving and caring Father.

Psalms 112:7 "He shall not be afraid of evil tidings:

His heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord."

When you trust in the Lord, you can be that stable also.

Psalms 112:8 "His heart is established, he shall not be afraid,

Until he see his desire upon his enemies."

His mind is steadfast in the direction he takes. He makes wise decisions and follows through with what he know he has to do. His thinking process is based on the wisdom and truths that comes from the Word of God. We know that our heavenly Father is going to destroy our enemies, vengeance is His, He will repay our enemies for the evil they have done to us.

Psalms 112:9 "He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor;

His righteousness endureth for ever;

His horn shall be exalted with honour."

God's righteous and commitment to you and I is not a part time job, but that commitment to His own is for ever. God horn is His strength, and when we seek our strength, that is the only place to go for our help. God is the horn of salvation for all that seek Him.

Psalms 112:10 "The wicked shall see it, and be grieved;

He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away:

The desire of the wicked shall perish."

The wicked will see our Lord Jesus Christ return, and they will be grieved because they missed out. They chased after the wrong christ, and became the bride of the wrong husband. The will be ashamed of themselves for allowing themselves to be taken to the wrong wedding. That time will come when those that chased after Satan the Antichrist will gnash their teeth and pray to die. This all sets a time factor, and that time is at the sounding of the seventh trump, the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. "The desire of the wicked shall perish", because they are going to perish. Of course that will be at the end of the Millennium age of Christ's kingdom here on earth. However God in all his mercy and fairness will teach them in that millennium age, and they test them again after they have had their instruction.

The Companion Bible gives us part of the Acrostic, eleven parts of the Acrostic. That part of the acrostic is given at the beginning of Psalms 111. The other part are within four sentences that are pulled from this. They deal with the acrostics of eleven. We have twenty two Hebrew sentences in both Psalms 111, and Psalms 112. These 44 sentences are divided into four parts. There is four sentences pulled from this that give us a hidden thought that we do not want to miss.

Go back to Psalms 111:6, "He hath showed the people the power of His works." This is the first part of the acrostics. We see the power of God's works every where in the universe, as well as in our every day lives. Yet most people overlook that power.

Then in verse Psalms 111:10 "His praise endureth for ever."

Psalms 112:6 "Surely he shall not be moved for ever:"

Psalms 112:10 "The desire of the wicked shall perish."

The Acrostic is hidden in these verses, but when put it together it reads;. "He Hath showed the people the power of His works. His praise endureth for ever. Surely He shall not be moved for ever. The desire of the wicked shall perish." This attaches to the acrostic given in Psalms 37, and will be given when we get to Psalms 119.
