Chapter 125

"A Psalms of Distress, the Third."

"Blessing and Peace for Zion."

This is the third blessing and peace Psalm. It also is a song of degrees.

Psalms 125:1 "They that trust in the Lord Shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever."

Mount Zion is a mount that God made a covenant with that it would be His bride eternally, geographically speaking. It is His for ever, are you? "Which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever." and that is eternal.

Psalms 125:2 "As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, So the Lord is round about His People."

The mountains are all around Jerusalem, and that is exactly how our Lord is around each of us. There is no time limit here, for it applies today, just as it did in David's day. The subject again is trusting in the Lord, and this is saying that if you trust our Heavenly Father, and you use the power of His name, [The name of Jesus Christ]; then He will surround you with protection just as the mountains are around Jerusalem. That is a promise from Him to you, you can count on it. That mountain of strength that is all around you will support you as you go about your everyday tasks. There is no way that you can fail.

Psalms 125:3 "For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity."

This again goes right to 2 Thessalonians 2, the rod of the false shepherd, Satan the antichrist, will sit on mount Zion, claiming to be God. It doesn't matter if you are delivered up before Him, you are as mount Zion. It doesn't matter what that false shepherd does or says, you have the mountains of God all around you, you have nothing to fear. Remember it will Be the Holy Spirit Himself that puts the words that you are to say in your mouth at the time of your being delivered up.

This is saying that the "wicked" is the "wicked one", Satan who goes by many names including Antichrist; Satan's rod or rule shall not rest upon you. At the end of the day, the sheep cross under the rod of the shepherd, and he separates his sheep from those that are not his. You will not cross under the rod of Satan to be counted as one of his. God will not allow it. This is a promise to you if you trust in Him. You will not be counted among those deceived sheep that accept Antichrist as the true Christ. Those deceived ones are thinking Satan has come to rapture them away. It is a promise and it is written here just for you. You will not put for your hand and touch the hem of Satan's garment, beg, or bow a knee to him. It will not happen.

Satan's rod is nothing, but the rod that protects us is a rod of iron, the rod of our Lord Jesus Christ when He come to this earth to judge in righteousness. Revelation 19:15 "And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God."

Psalms 125:4 "Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, And to them that are upright in their hearts."

"Upright" are the Zadok, the elect of God, each of the elect will take his or her place and make their stand against Satan, the Antichrist. It is not necessary for us to make this prayer, for it is automatic. You don't have to ask God to do good if you are doing good and following in the path of His Word.

Psalms 125:5 "As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, The Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: But peace shall be upon Israel."

There shall be untold millions of people that call themselves Christians that will turn aside to follow after Satan's crooked ways. Their feet will leave the true path of God's righteousness, and head down the many well lighted trails of Satan highways. They will do this in ignorance, because they have been taught to do so by their church houses, their pastors and teachers that teach not the Word of God. If you want to worship Satan, the Lord will not stop you, He will allow it to happen, and it will if you do not have the seal of God in your forehead.

Revelation 9:4 "And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads."

Several things to consider here, when Satan and his fallen angels are booted out of heaven onto the earth [Rev.12:7-9], their appearance will be as people think it will be when Jesus and the righteous soul come back. They will think Satan to be Jesus coming to save them. They will not hurt even the grass or a tree, nor any of God's creatures. In their miracles and lying wonders, most Christians will believe this false messiah to be Christ. However, those with the seal or knowledge of God's Word in their minds, they see right through the flood of lies that Satan is dumping on the people of the earth at this time.

Revelation 9:5 "And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man."

What Satan does is in fulfillment of what is written within the Word of God. Satan will be lead to do only what God allows him to do. God has told Satan that he can have his way with those without the seal, but don't touch mine anointed. Don't touch those with the seal in their forehead or mind. Then Satan will have a field day with those ignorant of God's Word, to lie and deceive all of them: and to steal their salvation, as they throw their rewards at the feet of Satan, in ignorance. This Psalms is trying to give you a taste of we will see in our generation, as we approach the coming of the false messiah.
