THE PSALMS Chapter 126 "Psalm of Distress." "It's Ending and it's Joy." This Bible Study is is provided by http://www.theseason.org/ and shared with permission from it's author R. Christopherson This is a distress Psalms, for those that are in distress or confused as to which way to turn. Psalms 126:1 "When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, We were like them that dream." This is talking about that time when God returns to this earth at the seventh trump, to free the captivity that has been going on from mount Zion. Satan had been presenting himself as God from his temple on mount Zion, and the entire world had bought into His lie. This will start the first day of the Millennium kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. "We were like them that dream" is completely misleading, for it should read, "When He turned the tide, it was like we found new help." Our new help will be our new body, for we will change from these flesh bodies into our new incorruptible bodies as the angels have. It will be instant, faster than you can wink an eye. I Corinthians 15:50 "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption." At Christ arrival, no flesh and blood body can exist in Christ's Millennium kingdom. NONE! So something happens at the sounding of the seventh trumpet, that is when the day of the Lord starts. Christ return to this earth. I Corinthians 15:51 "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed," This mystery is something Jesus revealed to Paul and it had not been revealed before. That mystery is what happens when the kingdom of God comes to this earth. All souls that are living in their flesh and blood bodies will be changed. There is a time coming in our generation, when all people on the face of this earth will be changed instantly from their flesh and blood corruption body, into their new incorruption bodies as the angels have, without flesh and blood. That's right every person shall be changed at the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. Then each will live for the next thousand years according to Ezekiel 40 to chapter 48 right here on this earth. To be judged at the end of that thousand years by their works only. All that is except the elect, those that did not bow a knee to Satan. I Corinthians 15:52 "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." Again, at the last trump, the seventh trump, after Satan has had his rule of this earth for his five months. Psalms 126:2 "Then was our mouth filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing: Then said they among the heathen, "The Lord hath done great things for them." " Then, after the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, our mouth will be filled with joy and singing. Then all over the world, in all nations, they will say, "The Lord has done great things for them." They will all be in their incorruptible bodies, and God's Word will be placed in their mind, and they will not have to ask the understanding of it. The world will understand they why God did what He did in this earth age, for as written in Ezekiel 39:23 "Thus I will magnify Myself, and sanctify Myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.' ' " When Russia and her allies of nations come against us, it will be the Lord that knocks the bow from Esau [Russia's hand] and the nations then will see that Israel's God is the only True God. Jesus Christ will come and destroy all the power structure of those that declare there is no God, or bow down to false gods. If you don't believe it now, you will when you see it come to pass. It is written in His Word. When you see the events of these last days coming to pass there is not much time to repent and get your soul right with the Lord. Psalms 126:3 "The Lord hath done great things for us; Whereof we are glad." The Millennium age is going to be a happy time. We can look back to the mighty works that Father has done for us now, and we will rejoice over the protection that he has given to us. Psalms 126:4 "Turn again our captivity, O Lord, As the streams in the south." Lord, Come back literally and take us to Yourself. Psalms 126:5 "They that sow in tears shall reap in joy." Many times you have sowed the seeds of truth in the minds of loved ones, and those God has lead you to. Those seeds seem to just die away, as if it did not take hold. This then is saying that you are not to judge those that took the seed and allowed that truth to die. That is where the tears come in, for you really loved that person, and he or she treated something precious to you, as if it were trash. God here is promising you that for the sadness that you felt over the loss of that loved one, you will reap joy in your rewards of the Millennium age. Psalms 126:6 "He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him." We will see this disappointment that is coming in our generation. This "precious seed", is the truth of God's Word that goes forth in this final generation. You will reap what you sow. If you sow good seed, than you will reap good seed; but if you sow bad seed, that is also what you will reap. Most of the time it takes many years before the seed of truth sprouts and some good sheaves come of your work. Friend, it may even be in the Millennium age before you reap that harvest of those precious seeds that you have sown. However God is promising that you will rejoice for every word that you have given out in planting those seeds of truth in the minds of men and women. God's Word will bring forth fruit. The fruit is not brought forth to you, but to our Heavenly Father. Fruit to our Heavenly Father is having His children come home to Him, to Love him, to come to the full saving knowledge of His full Word.
