This is the final Psalms of degrees.

Psalms 134:1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, Which by night stand in the house of the Lord."

Second Chronicles 29:11; "My sons [to the Levitical priests], be not now negligent: for the Lord hath chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and that ye should minister unto Him, and burn incense,"

This is also stated in 30:16, and in 31:2 for it is the Levitical priests who are to stand the watch in the night over the flock. The Levitical priest were to stand that watch, to serve the Lord and be the ministers to the people of Israel, all the tribes and they left their posts.

Psalms 134:2 "Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, And bless the Lord."

Historically this was the order from king Hezekiah, and given in his zeal to open the doors of the Temple [2 Chronicles 29:3] that his father, king Ahaz had shut up [2 Chronicles 28:24] many years before. This order came at the first month of the first year of Hezekiah's reign.

This though applies to us today, for we are not to forget to praise the Lord, and bless Him. Friend, when you are a partaker of any work of the Lord's, you are blessing the Lord. When you are advancing the truth of unity of the Word of God and not the words of men that cause division, you are blessing the Lord. When you bless God, He in turn will bless you. Until you understand and do this, you are going no place.

Psalms 134:3 "The Lord That made heaven and earth Bless thee out of Zion."

The same God that was able to created this entire universe, the stars, sun and planets themselves; promises here that He will bless you when you bless Him. Our Almighty Father that created the laws that allow our planet to have life and permit these human bodies to live and function on this earth, will bless you individually when you bless Him. He wants you to learn of Him and His Word, and then advance His Word in truth and unity for all the brethren. It is conditional, for when you bless Him, He will bless you.
