It is obvious that this was not written prior to the Babylon captivity, directed to the captivity by Nebuchadnezzar, but relates to a future captivity even to our day today. So this chapter will allow us to see clearly the method and manner of our deliverance from the Babylonian rule that will control us shortly. The Babylon of our day will be that one world system that Satan will come and sit on, when he rules the world. Though Iraq has tried to open the ancient city for a short period, but that was given for the sake of deceiving those without the full truth of God's Word in their minds. So this is a view of God's elects deliverance from Babylon of the end times.

Psalms 137:1 "By the rivers of Babylon, There we sat down, Yea, we wept, When we remembered Zion."

Have you ever been homesick to be back home, as you think of the good old days. Well when we see how Zion will become, and compare it with what it should be, it make you weep a little. We see armies and gun fights in the streets today, and it is not the secret place that we think of in our bible studies. Many things have happened by the rivers of Babylon, but usually this become a time to sit down by the river to think over what has happen in the past in Babylon. So we are about to receive God's counsel for us today, for we are entering into the Babylon of these end times.

The Babylon of our day, is a confusion and deception that will flood over the entire earth. God will send a slumber on many, so they will sleep spiritually through this entire time, and just not be aware of the times they are living in. This makes them unaccountable, for if they knew what they were doing, there would be no forgiveness for them. Many will gladly worship Antichrist in ignorance, and they will have the right to be saved through the millennium age of Christ's kingdom, by their works alone. Why, Because there will be no salvation by grace in the Millennium age, for our Lord Jesus Christ will be here on earth, and the evil of this earth age that caused them to be deceived will all be removed from off the earth.

It is an unforgivable sin not to allow the Holy Spirit to speak and work through you in these latter day, when you are delivered up to the synagogues of Satan. We ought to look forward to that time when this Babylon will all be over, and we will all be together in Christ's kingdom. It will be a time of happiness.

Psalms 137:2 "We hanged our harps Upon the willows in the midst thereof"

During this time of the Babylonian system, we just never played our harps and made for rejoicing. Why? We witnessed our family and friends being swept away in the flood of lies that were going on at the time.

Psalms 137:3 "For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song: And they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, "Sing us on of the songs of Zion."

Even when the the world is flooded with lies and deception, the world wanted us to take our harps and sing right along with them. Remember that happy people make better slaves, and that is what the people of this world will become to both Satan, and to that world religious beast system. It is bad for business to have you down and in sorrow. Remember that the king of Babylon will be in Zion, ruling from the side of the north, and demanding that the world worship him. Satan wants happy slaves for his system.

Psalms 137:4 "How shall we sing the Lord's song in a strange land?

How in the world can you or any of God's elect sing those happy song of our Lord's kingdom, when we see Satan, the wicked on sitting on his throne, on the side of the north in Jerusalem, playing God. How are we going to sing these songs of Almighty God, when the world around us is looking to Satan as their god. It will be like being in a foreign land.

Psalms 137:5 "If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, Let my right hand forget her cunning."

However we are to remember these Psalms, and remember how they are to give us strength. This is our deliverance from that religious system of Babylon. This is a figure of speech here in this verse, meaning; "If I forget the true Jerusalem of our Lord Jesus Christ, let my right hand whither away."

Psalms 137:6 "If I do not remember thee, Let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; If I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy."

No, even while Satan and the Kenites are ruling there for that short period of time, let our minds remember the joy and peace that shall come when our Lord Jesus Christ comes at the seventh and final trump. Just the thought of that day of rejoicing should bring light and joy to your soul.

Psalms 137:7 "Remember, O Lord, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; Who said, "Rase it, rase it, Even to the foundation thereof."

The children of Edom, and the children of Esau, they are the Russian people of today, for remember what they will try to do at the end of this earth age. Ezekiel 38 and 39 tell us they will band together with their allies and come against us for that final battle of Hamongog, where God will bring down giant hail stone of fire and brimstone to end that armies advance on the children of Israel nations. With all this friendship that is now going on, keep in the back of your mind that very shortly, they will move a massive amount of men and equipment towards American, and the Western European nations to bury them. Remember the communist system how it use to be? the lies that went on, and all the deceit and war of words.

Today all we hear is "rase it, rase it, even to the foundation." "Destroy it, destroy it, even to the foundation..." however, in the smoldering ruins of that communistic system, its army will rise again. We see the works of that old system being sold to their allies under the table, the Iraqis, the Libyans, and terrorist groups around the world, to be used in these end times. Their cry for seventy years was "there is no God," so remember them and mark they well. God is letting us know here that they will be subdued and their system destroyed for the entire Millennium kingdom. Either their minds will change, or they simply will not exist. Sure God's Grace now extends to them, and those dear souls that do serve God are and will be paying a dear price.

Our nation is getting slack towards communism, for most people think that it is dead, but the roots of that system are still strong back in Russia. God is warning us to pay attention to what is going on over there, and read Ezekiel 38 and 39 and expect it to happen. It is not far off, and we may be talking about months, or a few years here.

Psalms 137:8 "O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; Happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us."

This is a absolute statement, for it shall come to pass. When Satan sits on his throne in Zion and declares himself to be God, he will kill the two witnesses and the entire world will see and rejoice over that event. When that happens, just three and a half days later, Babylon of the end times will end. It will be destroyed and every minute element that went to make up that evil system will be completely destroyed. That is the time of the sounding of the seventh and last trump. This earth age of flesh and blood man will be over and finished. In an instant, faster than you can wink your eye, every man, woman, and child living in their flesh and blood body will be changed instantly into their new incorruptible body, as the angels have. We will be ushered into the Millennium kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ, and all evil debts against God's people will be settle at that time.

The daughter of Babylon will be destroyed, the church system that many Christians committed themselves to in ignorance will be gone instantly, and their will see Satan, their false christ in the pit. It is going to happen, why? Because it is all written in God's holy Word. That day of the Lord, it reward time for those that were sealed with the truth in their minds, and allowed the Holy Spirit to speak through them. When you know the outcome, why in the world would you not try to please our Lord Jesus Christ. When you know that you will not see the true Christ in while your are in your flesh and blood body, why would you bow to any man, while you are in your flesh body? It just doesn't make sense. It has to be done in complete ignorance, with all the spiritual blinder covering your spiritual eyes. You have to be so committed to your traditions and false doctrines that they take priority over God's Word in your life. Sister Babylon is coming, and there are no fence sitter at that time, you are either sealed with the truth, and hold fast, or God will give you over to Satan. It is not a good time to be going to a dead church that is not preparing for the time of the end for that end is approaching fast.

Revelation 17:17 "And God hath put in their hearts to fulfil His will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled."

If you do not want to know the truth, then God will set your mind to that mindset of Satan, and you will gladly fulfill the work of Babylon.

Revelation 17:18 "And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth."

Don't forget what Babylon is in these end times, for it is that religious system that gives devotion to Satan as God, and she will be destroyed.

Psalms 137:9 "Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones."

So this sounds so course and hard, but it is detailed in Isaiah 13:16-18; "Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished." 17 "Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it." 18 "Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children."

Historically it was the Medes that did this to Babylon. We have one rock that we are to stand on, but what are the stones that shall not spare the children of Israel? It is God that will sling the stones that will end this earth age, and look at the true value of that is said, for there is not regard to silver or gold, for God created it all, and men cannot buy their way out of the vengeance that shall come on this world to end this earth age. The men and women of this earth age are going to find out the hard way that God is real, alive and the Rock that can crush anything that they put against Him. There needs to be no more said, for that system will be destroyed.
