This 145th Psalm is an acrostic psalm, only it is a little different than the other acrostic psalms. This chapter is so arranged that each verse begins with each seceding letter of the Hebrew alphabet; except for one thing, there are only twenty one verses, and there are twenty two letters to the Hebrew alphabet. One verse is missing, and the Massorah locks in that verse, however it is missing for a purpose. Before we end this chapter you will know exactly what that verse is. The Companion Bible has already done the work for you to allow you to understand this chapter completely. An acrostic is like a crossword puzzle, so that if you understand the method used by Father in the manuscripts, there will be a hidden message for those with spiritual eyes to see the truth. That message is for only those who are able to work out those details and dig the truth out for themselves. Because the Hebrew and English alphabetics do not correspond, it is impossible to work this out in English, the way presented in Hebrew. Each verse starts with the Hebrew letter in the first word, and progresses through the alphabet. So we know that something is wrong with this chapter, for there is one letter missing. It is the letter "n" or "nun" in the Hebrew. The Massorah tells you what that verse is.

Psalms 145:1 "I will extol Thee, my God, O king; And I will bless Thy name for ever and ever/"

God is going to bless His Name for ever and ever. This is talking about His sacred Name, YHVH.

Psalms 145:2 "Every day will I bless Thee: And I will praise Thy name for ever and ever."

So here we have the second letter, "b" in English, "beth" in Hebrew. Again, underline, "Thy name", notice that the topic of this acrostic is "our Father's name".

Psalms 145:3 "Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable."

Some people can look at a mountain and miss the beauty of the mountain, for they only see the problem of getting over it. The mountain becomes nothing but an obstacle to them. We are to look at all of God's creation and appreciate the greatness of His magnificent creation. The life created in the animal life and plant life takes both rain and sun, and it takes all the elements that go to make it's life healthy. Then each plant is planted in such a way on that mountain to give beauty to the rest of the creation that exists around it. God created His creation and man can't perfect it, but only destroy. God created it perfect. Sure man can see and break it down to use it in different forms, but the completeness of that creation is unsearchable to man, and known only to God.

Psalms 145:4 "One generation shall praise Thy works to another, And shall declare Thy mighty acts."

God is saying that He wants this knowledge of His works passed on for one generation to another, as long as man exists, that man will declare the mighty acts of our Lord's creation. So it has, for we have finally come to the final generation of this earth age of flesh man. The meaning of this acrostic is that God wants something passed on to the time of the end. "His mighty acts", those prophecies that were written of in His Word, and were fulfilled in detail even to the end of this earth age. God kept His Word; He controls everything.

Psalms 145:5 "I will speak of the glorious honour of Thy majesty, And of Thy wondrous works."

Remember from Psalms 119, where the ten words were used, the word for "works" in the Hebrew is "da-bar". It is the first word used in the second set of eight verses. It means "God's words set in a row whereby they could be better understood concerning God's Works." So even though it says and was translated "works", there is much more to what is being said. In other words, it is a order from God to those it is directed to, concerning God's marvelous works.

Psalms 145:6 "And men shall speak of the might of Thy terrible acts: And I will declare Thy greatness."

Have you told others about God's mighty works in your life also? Have you declared God greatness to other, and shown other what He can do in their life?

Psalms 145:7 "They shall abundantly utter the memory of Thy great goodness, And shall sing of Thy righteousness."

The only time they will remember God goodness and sing of His righteousness is if they have tasted that goodness for themselves.

Psalms 145:8 "The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; Slow to anger, and of great mercy."

Remember Psalms 136, every verse ended, "For His mercy endureth for ever:" God's "mercy" should be a constant memory by now. God's mercy is both His love and His forgiving us for our sins. Forgiveness has a lot to do with the acrostic message given in this chapter.

Psalms 145:9 "The Lord is good to all: And His tender mercies are over all His works."

God's mercy is extended to all races and to all generation. God's mercy is the eternal life that is promised to all that will believe on His name in repentance, and turn from their ways of this world to follow His Ways.

Psalms 145:10 "All Thy works shall praise Thee, O Lord; And Thy saints shall bless Thee."

The very beauty and make up of God's creation is a witness to the might and love of our Heavenly Father's grace. Think of the mercy and instincts that God planted in the mind of each of His creatures, that they would give good care and protection to their young: Even to the degree that most all of the animal world will sacrifice their own life for their young. The Salomon that willingly swim hundreds of miles up stream, over rock beds, and shallow streams so that their eggs will be protected and their young can survive to a normal life. Many other examples can be given where birds and animals go to great ends to protect their young.

Psalms 145:11 "They shall speak of the glory of Thy kingdom, And talk of Thy power;"

The saints, the elect, the set aside ones will speak of the glory and power of our Lord's kingdom. They are the ones with spiritual eyes to see the glory of all of God's creation. He deserves the glory and honor and praise that we can give Him, for He has created all things.

Psalms 145:12 "To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, And the glorious majesty of His kingdom."

There are so few people living today that have even the slightest idea of the fast majestic glory that exists in our Father's kingdom. Sure they go to church and sing their songs, but they have no idea of what they are singing about concerning God's kingdom. God our Lord Jesus Christ is the king, and His domain is the entire earth, including the heavens.

Psalms 145:13 "Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Thy dominion endureth throughout all generations."

The kingdom of our Lord started when He created all the souls, the heavens and the earth. It continues through that first earth age, and all of this earth age of flesh man. It will be established to continue in the thousand year Millennium age following the seventh trump. That kingdom will go on into eternity eons of time after Satan and his followers are marched into the lake of fire. God kingdom is eternal, from the day it was created, to world without end. Religion has nothing to do with the reality of this kingdom, God or our eternal salvation. God and His kingdom are more real than we are; for it is established to be eternal, as we in our flesh bodies are but a vapor in the night.

So now between the 13th and 14th verse there is a letter missing; the letter "n". The better older manuscripts have this verse in their writings. Following the 13th verse, this verse is given in the Massorah:

"Faithful is Jehovah in all His words, And holy in all His works."

This verse starts with Faithful, ( ) (NUN) in the Hebrew text, which reads "Neeman"="faithful". This verse is in the Syriac, Vulgate, Arabic, and Ethiopic versions of the Manuscripts, but not in the King James version. Our Heavenly Father is faithful to keep His holy Word, all over them, for If God said it, it shall happen. Father is also holy in all His Works, for when He created this earth, and all the souls that have and will live on it, He proclaimed it, prepared it, consecrated it, sanctified it, and made it wholly fit for man and the other living creatures and plant life.

Psalms 145:14 "The Lord upholdeth all that fall, And raiseth up all those that be bowed down."

There is a time coming when all the people of the world will bow down to Satan, as he acts out his role as the Antichrist (the instead of Christ). It will happen and it will happen in our generation. All the people that is except God's elect, those with the seal of the truth of God's Word sealed in their foreheads (minds). Down through all generation, the prophets have talked about this one generation that would be tried as no other generation has been tried. You are living in that generation, and the time is not far off. The first five trumpets have sounded and the events of those trumps are either history to us, or taking place right before our eyes today.

You can count on this fact of Satan's coming just as you can count that on the first day of the Millennium age; that time when every knee will bow to our Lord Jesus Christ. All but just a very few will bow to Satan in ignorance, for the world will believe that Satan is the true Christ. God's election will be the only ones that will know the truth.

Psalms 145:15 "The eyes of all wait upon Thee; And Thou givest them their meat in due season."

All souls will wait on the Lord for the truth to be given them in due season. God has closed the eyes of most of the people in our generation, for if they knew the truth and bowed to Satan, there would be no forgiveness for them later. However because of their ignorance to the truth, after they have bowed to Satan, there will be a time of teaching and discipline for them in the Millennium age, whereby their salvation then will come by their works done in that Millennium age. This is pointed out in detail in Revelation 20:11-15.

Matthew 13:9-12 tells us why Jesus spoke in parables, for he did not want those listening to what He was saying to understand the depth of those spiritual truths. Jesus knew that they were not able to understand in their flesh body, and take the truths of God's Word sight unseen. That is what is called "faith", and they did not have faith of any sort. No they could not stand the temptation of Satan, the Antichrist. However God did set His seven thousand aside in our generation that will not bow a knee to Satan when he declares himself to be God. So when is due season? That is God's time, and it will be at God's time when the entire world will bend their knee to the one true God, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalms 145:16 "Thou openest Thine hand, And satisfiest the desire of every living thing."

Our Heavenly Father is able to fulfill the desire of every living thing in His creation.

Psalms 145:17 "The Lord is righteous in all His ways, And holy in all His works."

When you don't think that God hears you when you pray, your are calling Him unrighteous. God hears your every prayer, and He knows your every thought. He loves you and He listens to your prayers. Though you ask God to use you, it is still up to you to study and prepare yourself for service to Him.

Psalms 145:18 "The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, To all that call upon Him in truth."

The Lord is there for every one that calls upon Him, however, there is a qualification to to this verse; "To them that call upon Him in truth." You believe that He hears you in the first place, and you are assured that His answer is according to His will. It means that you are praying within the will of God, that His will is fulfilled first, and not your wants. You seek the kinship from your Father and return that love back to Him. He knows you, and you just can not fake that love to Him. "In truth," no pretense.

Psalms 145:19 "He will fulfil the desire of them that fear Him: He also will hear their cry, and will save them."

Again, you have to call on the Lord in truth, for there is no false love here. He will hear you and save you, if you meet those qualifications. Do you revere our heavenly Father and the truths of His Word.

Psalms 145:20 "The Lord preserveth all them that love Him: But all the wicked will He destroy."

Stop and think on this verse for a moment, sure the Lord will preserve all those that love him, but you must love Him first. There is a time coming after this earth age, and after the Millennium age when, the wicked and lawless ones will be judged and destroyed according to their works as recorded in the books in heaven. That will be the second death, the death of their very soul. However many will have their eyes closed in this earth age, and they will sleep spiritually until after that seventh trump sounds. Then they will be taught in the Millennium, tested, and tried then, while in their spiritual incorruptible body. Then they will have a clear understanding of what they are doing, and the choices they are making; and they will be judged then by their works only. God loves His children, and He will give His children every chance to see the truth and chose eternal life.

Revelation 20:13-15 "And the sea give up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works." [13] "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." [14] "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." [15]

The Millennium age of Christ's kingdom will be right here on earth, not in some distant star or planet. When each soul has had the opportunity to come through this earth age of mankind, through the womb of woman, this earth age will end. It will end at God's appointed time, when all the prophecies have taken place, and the time is completed. For those that were not taught the truth in this earth age, God has provided the Millennium age, when all people living in their flesh and blood bodies here on earth, will be changed instantly into their new incorruptible bodies, as the angels have, and enter into that thousand year period where all the evil of this earth age has been removed. Then it will be a time of teaching and discipline and testing.

God did not send his slumber on the wicked, for He knew that many were not able to stand against Satan in the end times. When those children of God bow to Satan in ignorance, they will enter the Millennium age and then see the truth of what they did, and be ashamed for their acts. God will allow them to be saved by their works done while in the Millennium age. The wicked are those that follow Satan, and many of them will follow Satan even after they have been taught the truths in the millennium age.

Psalms 145:21 "My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: And let all flesh bless His holy name for ever and ever."

This chapter ends just as it started. "And I will bless Thy name for ever and ever." You bless the name of the Lord, when you praise His name. There are many codices, or translation that end this chapter, "And we will bless Jah: From henceforth even for ever, Praise ye Yah." This is also given in Psalms 115:13.
