THE PSALMS Chapter 150 "The Fifth Hallelujah Psalm [Deuteronomy]." This Bible Study is is provided by http://www.theseason.org/ and shared with permission from it's author R. Christopherson This is the fifth and last of the Hallelujah Psalms, answering to the great thought of Deuteronomy. Psalms 150:1 "Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary: Praise Him in the firmament of His power." Our Heavenly Father is in the firmament and also in the Sanctuary, the lower being formed on the pattern of the higher. The firmament is the expanse above the earth, as stated in Genesis 1:6. We are told in Hebrews 8:5; "Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for "See", saith He, "That thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount." Our Heavenly Father will be what He wants to be; "I AM WHAT I AM", the basis of the sacred name of our Father. In the ancient language, YHVH, praise God for His glory. Psalms 150:2 "Praise Him for His mighty acts: Praise Him according to His excellent greatness." This is in reference to Deuteronomy 3:24; "O Lord God, Thou hast begun to shew Thy servant Thy greatness, and Thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to Thy works, and according to Thy might?" This is the Deuteronomy Psalm of praise. Psalms 150:3 "Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet: Praise Him with the psaltery and harp." He deserves all the praise that you can give Him. Psalms 150:4 "Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: Praise Him with stringed instruments and organs." Psalms 150:5 "Praise Him upon the loud cymbals: Praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals." Psalms 150:6 "Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise THE LORD." Don't over look this final statement on this book of Psalms, "Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord." If you are breathing, and still living in your flesh body, He deserves your praise, for God has given you this opportunity to chose eternal life, life everlasting for your soul. Praise the Lord. This ends the book of Psalms, and I hope you have enjoyed all of these 150 Psalms, for when you read it with understanding, your heart will be filled with joy, and praise for our Heavenly Father and the Son of God, Jesus the Christ. Hallelujah, Praise ye the Lord. _______________________________________________________________________________________
