This Psalm is a prayer of vindication; for the righteous suffer. As you try to live your Christian life, following the paths of righteousness, you will have a few trials. However through all the test that you will have, Father will be with you and see you through to the end.

Psalms 17:1 "Hear the right, O Lord, attend unto my cry, Give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips."

"Feigned lips" are lips of deceit. The cry here is that the Lord will hear my prayer because they are not lips of deceit. The cry is "hear the right", the right has always bee the truth of God, from God Word. Satan is on the left, and all the thought and deeds of the left are of Satan today. The left today is called "communism", God is left completely out of that system, and the bottom of the communistic frame of mind are the Kenites, for it sets the world to accept their father Satan at his arrival. When you don't believe that there is a God, than Satan has taken the high places in your life.

Psalms 17:2 "Let my sentence come forth from Thy presence; Let Thine eyes behold the things that are equal."

This asking you, Do you trust God in all that His Word says. He is the only fair and true judge, for he can see down into the hearts and minds of people. He know not only the deeds but the intent of those deeds and He can judge fairly. Father is all-seeing and all-knowing on all matters, and David know he was correct and equal or fair.

Psalms 17:3 "Thou hast proved mine heart; Thou hast visited me in the night; Thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress."

David is writing to the Father, you know what my mind is; for you have tried me, tested me and my thoughts were pure. If you claim the name of Christ, God will test you as one of His children. This is prophecy for only Jesus Christ could make this statement. Only Jesus Christ's mouth has never transgressed the Word of God. Not one man or woman in these flesh bodies could make that statement, but only the Messiah.

Psalms 17:4 "Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer."

The "destroyer" is one of Satan's names. Hebrews 2:14; "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;" When we keep on the path of righteousness we are on the way of the Lord, and off the path of the destroyer Satan. When you try to stay on that path, you are in good standing with Father. Jesus Christ is that way, He is the truth and Live for all those that will follow that way. He set the way for each of us. Christ is saying in this verse that Satan did not tempt me in that hour of temptation, so it is also prophecy of Matthew 4:1-11. Jesus went to the wilderness with Satan to be tempted if that was possible, but Christ was spared the hour of temptation because Satan was not tempting to Him. You can only be tempted by something that is delightful to you, and you desire it. That is why we are saved from the hour of temptation because we know the truth, we know Satan and all his tricks and lying wonders and they are not tempting to us. We will find him detestable, and not tempting. However most of the Christian world today are being taught to find the devil very delightful, and they will fall for his deceptions.

Psalms 17:5 "Hold up my goings in Thy paths, That my footsteps slip not."

Lets face it, for if God is the one holding you up, you will not slip. If you are truly following God's Word, you may stumble now and then, but when the truth comes forth, you will refocus yourself and keep on going.

Psalms 17:6 "I have called upon Thee, for Thou wilt hear me, O God: Incline Thine ear unto me, and hear my speech."

This is a promise that we can set our entire life upon. "I have called upon Thee, for Thu wilt hear me, O God:" When you call out to the Father, He does hear your words of prayer to him. Father loves you very much, and when you talk to Father, He listen and cares for your needs. Even in your times of great sin, when you call out out to our heavenly Father, He hears your prayers of repentance. Father wants you to love Him and rely upon Him, and only you can generate that love from within you.

Psalms 17:7 "Shew Thy marvellous lovingkindness, O Thou That savest by Thy right hand them which put their trust in Thee From those that rise up against them."

God knows and sees those that would rise up against you. No one can plot evil against you, that Father will not see. Jesus is at the right had of the Father as our advocate, and Jesus has paid the price that allows you to come before Father's throne for mercy. That is why our prayers must be in Jesus' name for; John 10:9 says; "I [Jesus Christ] am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." Jesus, "Yashuah" in the Hebrew in the Hebrew means "YHVH's Savior", it is the Father and the Son, all in one word, Jesus. Both offices of the Godhead.

Psalms 17:8 "Keep me as the apple of the eye, Hide me under the shadow of Thy wings,"

This again refers to Deuteronomy 32:9-11 and the "Song of Moses", as it is written in Revelation 15:3; "And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvellous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of saints."

Deuteronomy 32:9 "For the Lord's portion is His People; Jacob is the lot of His inheritance."

Deuteronomy 32:10 "He found him in a desert land, And in the waste howling wilderness; He led him about, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye."

Deuteronomy 32:11 "As an eagle stirreth up her nest, Fluttereth over her young, Spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, Beareth them on her wings."

This is part of the song that we shall sing after we have conquered the Antichrist. This is the song of victory of the elect saints of God for the Millennium kingdom. The "apple of the eyes" is the pupil of the eye, the most sensitive part of the body. That tells us just how caring and sensitive our Heavenly Father is to our needs and protection. God's protection is instant, faster than the eyelid can move to protect the pupil of the eye. Protect me in that way, he prays.

Psalms 17:9 "From the wicked that oppress me, From my deadly enemies, who compass me about."

In our generation of these latter days, the enemy is those that will try to lead you into Satan's deception, they will have the robes of preachers, preaching false doctrine, but the most spiritual lethal will be your own family trying to lead you and force you to accept Antichrist's doctrine and ways. Mark 13:12 "Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death." Did you get that? Your own family members will be the ones to betray you, and cause you to be put to death spiritually, if you allow it to happen.

Mark 13:13 "And ye shall be hated of all men for My name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." If you think that your family will love you in spite of your belief, forget it. "Ye shall be hated of all me, for My name's sake." You just will not be tolerated by even your own family members when they have to suffer for your beliefs. What in your life is so precious that you would sell your soul for, for that is the area that your own family will attack you on.

Psalms 17:10 "They are inclosed in their own fat: With their mouth they speak proudly."

What this is saying is that all signs of compassion has fallen away from their lips. This is again referring to the prior verse, those family members that will turn you over to the false christ. Those dear members of your family will be misled and just do not know what they are doing. What they do, they do in ignorance? And as they follow the enemy, the destroyer, Satan in his role as the Antichrist, there will be no compassion for you, even from your own loved ones. The counsel of God will not be in their mind. The entire purpose of their action is to get your soul delivered to the destroyer.

Psalms 17:11 "They have now compassed us in our steps: They have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;"

Your "steps" are your path or your way. Remember that our way is Christ. This is a figure of speech that means that they want us to fall to the ground, for they are against any stand that we might take on behalf our Jesus Christ. Satan was order to the ground, in Genesis 3:14; "And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and the dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:" Satan played the role of the serpent, the deceiver of Eve, and he wants to bring every soul to the ground with him. Your way is your path, and we must see to it that we stay on that path.

Psalms 17:12 "Like as a lion that is greedy of his pray, And as it were a young lion lurking in secret places."

In other words, even your own family are anxious to draw you into Satan's path of deception. Don't let that happen for any reason; do not fall into any of Satan's traps. Those that have accepted Satan's doctrines of demons, such as the rapture and other traditions that go against the Word of God, do their bidding for Satan eagerly, but stay out of it.

Psalms 17:13 "Arise, O Lord, Disappoint him, cast him down: Deliver my soul from the wicked, which is Thy sword:"

This verse it talking about the destroyer Satan. This has to be Satan for this is the only time that Satan will appear in person on this earth, from the time of tempting Christ. Deliver my soul from the wicked one, Satan, by thy sword. Revelation 1:16; "And He had in His right hand seven stars: and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and His countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength." The sword is His tongue, the word of God that came out of his mouth. By knowing His truth from His Word you will escape all these things. You will not find any of Satan's deceiving words or deeds tempting.

Psalms 17:14 "From men which are Thy hand, O Lord, From men of the world, which have their portion in this life, And whose belly Thou fillest with Thy hid treasures: They are full of children, And leave the rest of their substance to their babes."

This is stating; "From men of the world which have their portion in this life," These are those that have set their priorities in this world age. This has lost so much in the translation, and I will try to put some order to this. Remember that compassion has fallen from their lips. They are eager to kill, and if they get a substance from this world system, either by monetary or by hidden deception, then they will not share the blessings of this world with the children of God in this world. However, your family will hang on to them greedily, but if they have excess from this world system, they will save of try to preserve it for future generation, not knowing that the end is near. They will not share outside their own family. They are not godly people. This fits both the Kenites, as well as the apostates, those that claim to be of Christ, yet fall away to Satan. These are the ones that will do their brother before he can do you.

Psalms 17:15 "As for me, I will behold Thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, When I awake, with Thy likeness."

The "likeness" is the form that something appears to be. When we see Jesus Christ's form step foot on this earth again, we of God's elect will be so happy. This is talking of the second advent that takes place after the time of Satan's world system, at the sounding of the seventh trumpet. then Jesus Christ will return to this earth to set up His kingdom right here on earth. No it shall not be a fleshly kingdom, But all flesh bodies shall be changed instantly into their incorruptible bodies, as recorded in First Corinthians 15:50-54.

I Corinthians 15:50 "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. " At Christ's return at the second advent, flesh and blood bodies simply will be done away with.

I Corinthians 15:51-52 "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. "

Paul is revealing a mystery to us, something that was not known prior. At a particular point in time, every one that is living on the face of this earth will instantly be changed, from their physical body [corruptible body], into their soul or spiritual body, their [incorruptible body]. There is no fly away to anywhere. This must happen for Christ's kingdom to take place here on earth, which it will. the change happens instantly at the last trumpet, the seventh trumpet.

I Corinthians 15:53-54 "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when the corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, "Death is swallowed up in victory."

This changing from the physical flesh and blood body must take place before Christ can come to set up his kingdom. When it takes place, then God's elect will receive their incorruptible and immortal bodies, that will never see death. Death is swallowed up in the victory.

I Corinthians 15:55-56 "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law."

I Corinthians 15:57 "But thanks be to God, Which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

At that time all of God's Elect, the saints that came through this earth age without submitting to Satan will be happy. Why? we will have overcome and we will receive our full inheritance in our Lord kingdom here on earth. We will be in the Millennium age for that thousand years with Satan put away into the pit.
