THE PSALMS Chapter 19 "The Heavens." This Bible Study is is provided by http://www.theseason.org/ and shared with permission from it's author R. Christopherson The 19th Psalms is the acknowledgement of Jesus Christ glory in creation and Revelation. Have you taken a close look at our Father's creation? Psalms 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament sheweth His handywork." "A psalm of David to our chief Victor": The very heavens and the universe declare the glory of God. Some nigh on a clear night, go out and look up, and witness the glory of God there before you. The word "declare" should read "rehearse", something that goes on time and time again; over and over. The firmament, the expanse, the mountains show us His handiwork. You can read and see God intensions as he used the constellations to inform His children of this earth age, and the story of His plan of redemption. The Companion Bible, Appendix 12 carries the complete breakdown of the stars, and we are told by God that "They are for signs to come". There are 12 positions in the Zodiacal circle, so where do we break into that circle. That Appendix will detail all of the signs of the Zodiac, and explain their meanings. We are to know and understand our Father handiwork, for it is another way that our Father speaks to you. Psalms 19:2 "Day unto day uttereth speech, And night unto night sheweth knowledge. "Day after day, and night after night" the speech of the stars continues, without end. Sure at night it speaks a language that gives us knowledge [intelligence and information], when we are able to read the stars of the constellations. The word "uttereth" in the Hebrew text means to "pour forth" or "to Prophecy". God put those stars up there as a reminder continually of His Lord for us. Day after day the very stars are up there to give us a continual prophecy to you. Psalms 19:3 "There is no speech nor language, Where their voice is not heard." There is no voice, nor language [words spoken] or sound in delivering this information of the stars. There is no voice heard because the knowledge is in the position that the stars are in. God is telling you not to listen to a voice, and take close note of the positions of the signs of His creation. The language of the words of the stars are there but you only gain the knowledge by when you understand their positions. Psalms 19:4 "There line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath He set a tabernacle for the sun," There is an "line" which is an "inheritance" even in the stars. The stars teachings will continue to the end of this earth age. The constellations are in the heavens for every living soul to witness and take part in. In the Companion Bible it tells us that the Tabernacle is a tent, or house, and the signs of the Zodiac are called the houses of the sun. Why? Because in each of these 12 houses God is able to move and dwell, and complete His circuit. This then will correspond with God's servants dwelling and moving in the written "Word", as we will note from verse 11. Do not turn this Zodiac into something of reading the mysteries of satanic tools. For Satan will use the things of God to confuse those that are to lazy to search the Scripture for the truth. Psalms 19:5 "Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race." The first chamber of the constellations was Virgo, the chamber where He was born. That is the prophecy of the first house or sign in the heavens. As each of these chambers are connect, it is as a strong man about to run a race around the heavens. Psalms 19:6 "His going forth is from the end of the heaven, And his circuit unto the ends of it: And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof." This strong man will run his race from one end of heaven all the way around to return to his starting point. Just like on a circular track. As you go from one sign to the other, there is no heat or joining substance holding the constellations together. The are set in place and they will stay there until this earth age is over and finished. There are no hidden place in the constellations. God's knowledge and witness within the stars is complete and laid out before you, and Jesus Christ is that living Word. Even though God is eternal, He does have a beginning and ending point to His earth ages, and He spells it out in these star houses. Though He is almighty, He is still gentle and loving to each of his children. Psalms 19:7 "The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple." This "converting" is not like is used in church houses today, coming to salvation. So this is saying that God will "restore" souls and He will. God's ways are perfect, and just as God can create a soul, so also He can destroy a soul. Matthew 10:28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him Which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Christ is the restorer of your soul. The testimony of the Lord is accurate, in the simplicity of all of the teachings. Remember that all wisdom comes for God. Psalms 19:8 "The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes." The statutes, or precepts are right and that is why we read them precepts upon precept, for they build on each other. They are right, they are not left. As you read and come the understanding of His Word, your spiritual eyes then reflect Christ within your very soul, and gives comfort to those around you. Father will give you eyes to see with understanding. Psalms 19:9 "The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether." The reverence of the Lord is cleansing of your soul. You can count on the Lord for He will always be there for you. The judgments of the Lord are completely righteous, and true. The manuscripts spoken by God are accurate and correct even though many translation fool around and miss the mark at times. Psalms 19:10 "More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb." Psalms 19:11 "Moreover by them is Thy servant warned: And in keeping of them there is great reward." By them, by the written word is God's servant warned of the man of violence. That man of violence is Satan. There is great instruction and counsel in following the written Word of God. Psalms 19:12 "Who can understand his errors? Cleanse Thou me from secret faults." The translators messed up here. Do you think God commits errors? Of course god does not error. So lets see what this verse really says. The word "error", in the Hebrew text means "wanderers", like those of the planets that are wanderers. Remember this is applied to the Zodiac, and the wanderings are from one part of the Zodiac to another; From the beginning to the end of the earth. The secret faults are just a lack of discernment. So it reads like this; "Who can discern the wanderings of the Lord, Father, Cleanse my lack of discernment." Psalms 19:13 "Keep back Thy servant also from presumptuous sins, Let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright. And I shall be innocent from the great transgression." The "Upright" are the "Zadok", and this great "transgression" is the period of time that is just before us in our generation. Jesus told us of this time in Matthew 24:21-22 "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." "And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." This will be the greatest time of transgression that this world has ever seen. This is called the first tribulation, this is the tribulation that is not commonly taught in the church houses of today. This is the tribulation of the Antichrist, Satan. If you are the upright and one of the Zadok, you will come through this time in fine standing, and will receive your rightful inheritance as is given in Ezekiel 44. You will stay in the field working for Father until the day of the Lord, and not caught up in the rapture theory. Psalms 19:14 "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditations of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer." "Let the deeper thoughts of my mind and the words that flow from my mouth be acceptable in this sight, O Lord, my Rock, and my Redeemer." This chapter began in verse one with the creator, and ended in verse fourteen calling him our Rock and Redeemer. Jesus Christ is the Redeemer of our very souls. _____________________________________________________________________________ ©2005 http://www.theseason.org PLEASE NOTE:
