THE PSALMS Chapter 21 "His People's Joy in View the Coronation of their King, Messiah." This Bible Study is is provided by http://www.theseason.org/ and shared with permission from the author R. Christopherson
Messiah was not crowned as King at His
coming as a baby in the manger, and He wasn't even crowned while
He hung on the cross. However when He came out of that tomb, victorious
over death, He became crowned the King of kings, the Messiah of
all His people. Jesus Christ came out of that tomb and arose into
heaven to sit on His throne to the right hand of the Father. So
this chapter has to do with the paying of the price to become the coronated
King of His people, and the bringing in of the Atonement.
A Psalm of David Psalms 21:1 "The king shall joy in thy strength, O Lord; And in Thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!" "The King shall joy in His prevailing strength;" "araz" in the Hebrew text: In His eternal strength. Jesus had great love for His children, as He spoke to the Father; asking Him for the protection of those that would be living in the flesh in this world. Psalms 21:2 "Thou hast given him his heart's desire, And hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah." "Selah" is used here again to remind us to stop, and meditate on what has been said. It is a connecting point between what has just been said, and what is also about to be said in the next verse. The reason that this Atonement is possible with this prayer of Psalms 20:3 [The price paid] is the sacrifice was paid. That price was in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Psalms 21:3 "For Thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: Thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head." When our Lord Jesus Christ sits down on the right hand of the Almighty Father, the work of the cross was finished. Jesus was crowned with the crown of Glory and became the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and that is what His title is at His return at the seventh trump. Revelation 19:16 "And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, "King of Kings, and Lord of Lords"." The King hears your every request, and He has to power to protect you. Psalms 21:4 "He asked life of Thee, and Thou gavest it him, Even length of days for ever and ever." Yes, through His resurrection He gave us eternal life through His shed blood on the cross. Yes resurrection into the firstfruits into eternal life through Almighty God. That live has no end, for it is for the eternity. Psalms 21:5 "His glory is great in Thy salvation: Honour and majesty hast Thou laid upon him." Father's system shall be eternal through our Father Son Jesus the Christ. Psalms 21:6 "For Thou hast made him most blessed for ever: Thou hast made him exceeding glad with Thy countenance." Jesus is our Blessed Savior. He has sent Jesus to be a blessing to the people. Father is so happy with the price paid, and cup that was passed and poured out, that brings us into Christ's kingdom age. Psalms 21:7 "For the king trusteth in the Lord, And through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved." Father does trust in His Son Jesus Christ, and through the blood we do have mercy from the Lord, and in that mercy we have the prevailing strength through Him. We have a Rock that shall not be moved, and Our Lord gives us a solid foundation in Him. Psalms 21:8 "Thine hand shall find out all Thine enemies: Thy right hand shall find out those that hate Thee." Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of the Father, and He knows the intent of the mind of those that are your enemies. Psalms 21:9 "Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of Thine anger: The Lord shall swallow them up in His wrath, And the fire shall devour them." At the very end of the Millennium age, after the judgment of souls by their works, The lake of fire shall turn them to Ashes. This is given in Revelation 20 20-15. Revelation 20:11 "And I saw a great white throne, and Him That sat on it, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them." This judgment takes place following the thousand year millennium kingdom of Jesus Christ reign here on earth. There is no hiding of evidence and distorting of facts at that judgment seat. Our Almighty Father can see right into the intent of your thoughts. Revelation 20:12 "And I saw the dead small and great, stand before God; And the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those thing which were written in the books, according to their works." The "dead" are those with mortal souls, those that did not make their inheritance in this earth age of flesh man. These mortal souls will be judged by works only out of the set of books of record for the Millennium age, to be found worthy to enter into the eternal kingdom. The "Book of life" will have only their name in it, for that will identify those that do not enter into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:13 "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; And death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works." Notice that at the end of the Millennium age of Christ's kingdom, it is only works that are considered, for Grace, God's riches at Christ's expense is offered now in this age of the flesh man. There will be no flesh man in the Millennium age, for all souls will be in their incorruptible bodies that understand completely the intent of God's Word. Revelation 20:14 "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." The first death is the death of these flesh bodies, the second death is the death of your soul. Only God can take your soul. Revelation 20:15 "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." This is what is spoken of in verse nine, "And the fire shall devour them." Those that are saved at the close of this earth age and do not bow to Satan, will receive their inheritance at the sounding of the seventh trump, all other must go through the Millennium age and be judged then according to their works only. What counts is are you written in His book, the book of life. Psalms 21:10 "Their fruit shall Thou destroy from the earth, And their seed from among the children of men." Those that are sent into the lake of fire are destroy, why they are not fit for the eternal kingdom. This takes place after the white throne judgment of Revelation 20:11. Kenites and all those that like to follow after Satan and his kind, gone forever. There will be no record of them as ever existed for God will wipe the memory from the minds of their loved ones forever. No more tears ever. Revelation 21:1 "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea." Again, this is after the great white throne judgment, after Satan and the wicked ones were destroyed in the lake of fire and all things of the prior ages are gone and wiped out forever. Revelation 21:2 "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem , coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." John the Apostle was allowed to view this new holy city coming down out of heaven with all beauty, adorned for the Bride of Christ. Revelation 21:3 "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God." The entire Godhead the office of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit will be with us then. Revelation 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." This is what was spoken of in Psalms 21:10; the fruit, or seed that shall be destroyed shall be removed even from the minds of the loved ones, and it will be as if that loved on had never existed, ever. Your husband or wife, or parent or child that was not written in the "book of life", simply will not exist anywhere, not even in your memory. That is why there will be no tears, crying, or sorrow. Just like you have no memory from the first earth age, there will be no memory of those things that happened in this earth age or the Millennium or judgment that followed. Psalms 21:11 "For they intended evil against Thee: They imagined a mischievous device, which They are not able to perform." "The mischievious device" in our generation is "one worldism", and it is controlled by the four hidden dynasties. Those dynasties are Religion, Education, Economics [banking, merchandising, industry] and Politics. These four hidden dynasties are directed by the Kenites, the offspring of Satan through Cain. They do this to deceive even the very elect, if that were possible, but it is not. The deception comes through their traditions of me that make void the Word of God. Yes, the "mark of the beast" that is taken into their minds is their beliefs that allow them to believe that Satan is the true Christ, and be taken at the sixth trump, and not waiting for Jesus Christ's return at the Seventh trumpet. Psalms 21:12 "Therefore shalt Thou make them turn their back, When Thou shalt make ready Thine arrows upon Thy strings against the face of them." My dear friend, you are the "strings" of God's bow that will stand against Satan and his realm at that time. The arrow is the truth from God's Word, and you will sling for the truth from God's Holy world. The light that shall shine in the darkness of an evil world. Psalms 21:13 "Be Thou exalted, Lord, in Thine own strength: So will we sing and praise Thy power." "To the chief Musician, upon Aijeleth Shahar." There is only one everlasting power, and that is our Heavenly Father, with the other offices of the Godhead. YHVH is the only power, and He is the creator of all things. He created us and He protects us by His own strength. "Aijeleth Shahar" means "the Day-dawn". This is looking forward to the Day-dawn of the Messiah's Coronation, which is the subject of the twenty first Psalm, and not Psalms 22. _____________________________________________________________________________ ©2005 http://www.theseason.org PLEASE NOTE:
