This Psalm is one of the Psalms that those saints that overcame the Antichrist and his system will sing at Jesus Christ's return, as recorded in Revelation 15:3. "And they sand the song of Moses, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvellous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of Saints." " Those that were on their way to be with the True God, sang this Psalm. Words are important for it allows us to know who is teaching the truth in these end times.

Keep in mind that this Psalm is related to the Psalms 20, and remember that Psalm dealt with the things that were going on during Jacob's time of trouble, also referred to as the "great tribulation" when Satan will be here on earth and all the people of the earth will follow him. So the people that will sing this "song of the Lamb" are those that made a stand and did not follow Satan, nor his religious system. Remember the price that was paid, and prophesied of in Psalms 22, when Jesus was nailed to the cross, and suffered for the sins of all them that would repent and believe on His name. Jesus became the "Lamb slaying". This is the song of the Lamb.

Psalms 33:1 "Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: For praise is comely for the upright."

When you are one of the upright, the praise of the Lord should be comely, or natural for you. Something that comes automatically as you see the blessings and protection of God being given to you. We know where the praise belongs, and it should flow from our hearts.

Psalms 33:2 "Praise the Lord with harp: Sing unto Him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings."

This is saying, bring out the entire orchestra and sing praises to our Lord, the Almighty God.

Psalms 33:3 "Sing unto Him a new song; Play skilfully with a loud noise."

In Revelation 15 we read of what will take place when the Lord Jesus Christ returns, and the overcomers stand to meet the Lord. These overcomers that sing this song were not deceived by Satan or any of his tricks of deception. These overcomers had the victory over the Antichrist will sing two songs, the "song of Moses", and this "song of the Lamb.

Revelation 15:2 "And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God."

This "glassy sea" that is mingled with fire are the saints that live in our generation of the end times, that will faced Satan the Antichrist, and have victory over him, his Kenite system, his army of fallen angels, and all of the lying deceptions that Satan will bring with him. They knew that Satan in his role of Antichrist was a fake, and they did not buy into any part of what Satan or his system had to sell. The held true right up to the end, and faithful to Jesus the True Christ. Again, Revelation 15:3.

Revelation 15:3 "And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb,, saying, "Great and marvellous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of saints."

Each of us should know these two songs for they instruct us as what we are to expect at the coming of Satan and his angels. This is the song, with holds the instructions to the overcomers. The reason this song is referred to as the "song of the Lamb", is that it is given in view of Psalms 20, the Psalm of the Lamb that would be offered for the sins of the Lord, and that Lamb is our Lord Jesus Christ. This chapter should be very important to you, for it is addressed to the overcomers.

Psalms 33:4 "For the Word of the Lord is right; And all His works are done in truth."

The Word of the Lord is absolutely and positively correct in all aspects, and all of God's works are done to fulfill the perfect plan of God. One of the subjects of this song is that "the Word of the Lord is right". The things that Father does are done without confusion, and are done in Truth.

Psalms 33:5 "He loveth righteousness and judgment: The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord."

If you want to get in good with the Father, this tells us how. "He loveth righteousness and judgment". You learn to do things and live your life in righteousness and using sound judgment, that is using common sense.

Psalms 33:6 "By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth."

Don't skip over this verse, for it is very important in your understanding. "By the Word of the Lord..." that means that God spoke it and it happened. Don't rely on your human brain to figure out how it was done, for you just can't reason it away. The point here is that by God speaking it, the heavens were made and the heavenly being, the souls and cherubs came into being. By God's speaking, the constellations were set in their place, the sun, moon and stars were all placed in their order and it came to pass. My friend you either believe it, or you do not. Those that shall stand in the final days against Satan and his deception do believe it. Those that do not simply will not stand. You either believe the Word of the Lord, or you do not.

Today the modern teaching is that a big bang happened and things just happened by chance. Over a long period of time every thing come into existence to the order and condition it is in now. How stupid, for even with their own reasoning it is an impossibility, however if you are playing games with God, and your foolish mind sets the parameters of the game, all you end up with is foolishness. That is what is going on today, and that is there will be a separation between the elect and those without the seal of God in their forehead.

Revelation 9:4 "And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads."

This verse is reality today, observing the environmentalist and their words and deeds. As we move deeper into the time of the fifth trump and on into the sixth trump, the separation will be complete. Only the elect will have the true understanding of what is going on, as it is given in "The Word of the Lord", and shall see the prophecies coming to pass right before their eyes. To be "sealed in your forehead" means you have the understanding of the Word of God in your mind, and you can not be taken in by Satan and his tricks and lying deceptions.

The "host" that is spoken of here are the host of His angels; His people, the souls of all those created. It is with His very breath were you made and came into existence. When you come to understand this, there should be nothing but praise in you for Father. Revelation 4:11 tells us why our Lord is Worthy; "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created."

Our Almighty Father is our Father by this Word, for He created each soul that entered into the embryo of their mother's womb, to develop into the child and person that you have become. He has earned the right to receive all the glory and honor that we can give to Him. Do you see the kinship we have with the Almighty Father? That is why we should never turn our back on Him.

Psalms 33:7 "He gatheredth the waters of the sea together as an heap: He layeth up the depth in storehouses."

This verse loses a lot in the translation, for this "heap" is referred to as a "skin bottle"; the bottle in which they carried wine. This verse is saying that God can gather the sea up as simply as you would pour wine into a skin bottle; then store it in your storehouse or your cupboard. God can control the oceans and seas in that manner, and it is that easy for Him.

Psalms 33:8 "Let all the earth fear the Lord: Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him."

Let all the people of the earth respect Him, but fear Him is you are evil. You should stand in awe of God, for He is the creator every thing that is. We can see the beauty around us here on earth, and see the warmth we receive from the Sun. We see the beauty of the heavenly bodies in all their glory, and we should have nothing but awe and praise for our God.

Psalms 33:9 "For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast."

When God spoke, it all come into existence; and when He spake, what was spoken took place upon the orders of our Heavenly Father.

Psalms 33:10 "The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: He maketh the devices of the people of none effect."

These first ten verses were devoted to the praise of our heavenly Father; now comes the declaration concerning YHVH.

It just doesn't matter what some earthly king or ruler states, for the only thing that matters is what our Father YHVH has stated in His holy Word.

Psalms 33:11 "The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, The thoughts of His heart to all generations."

The "counsel of the Lord" is what is written in His Word. That Word endureth for ever; for its prophecies are true and each will come to pass right on Father time schedule. If you ever desire to know what is on God's mind, He has written it down and you can read it in His Word. His Spirit will open the understanding of that Word to you, when you ask Him for the understanding. That word is true for all generations, including our generation, right up to the sounding of the seventh trump and beyond. The Lord gives us counsel by His Spirit, and from His Word that was written to you. It was not written to the masses, but to each individual that will read and meditate on His Word.

Psalms 33:12 "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; And the People whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance."

There is a reason that our nation and other Christian nations are well blessed even in our seal and on our currency we give respect to God. God chose a nation, and in time that nation split into many nations as they scattered around the world. Those nations of the house of Israel, the the chosen and bless of God through Abraham, truly carry the inheritance that was promised to them through promises given to Abraham. The super powers of the free world has been well blessed for giving reverence to God.

Psalms 33:13 "The Lord looketh from heaven; He beholdeth all the sons of men."

Our Heavenly Father looks down from heaven, and he is aware of all the souls living on this earth today. He know everything that each of us do, and even the intent of our minds. This applies to all generation, and just as it applied to David, it also applies to you and I living in this generation. Remember that time means nothing to Father, and this does concern each of no matter what the generation.

Psalms 33:14 "From the place of His habitation He looketh Upon all the inhabitants of the earth."

God hears every word of your prayers, and He knows what is best for you. Father not only hears you, but he sees every thing that you do.

Psalms 33:15 "He fashioneth their hearts alike; He considereth all their works."

The first part of this verse should read, "He who fashioneth their heart together," and not that He made them all alike. The "heart" should be singular, and not plural, for though all hearts are created, each one has a personal relationship to our heavenly Father, for He knows exactly what you are doing for Him. God knows how your mind is made up, and what goes through it every moment of the day. He even knows the intent in your mind that caused you to do what you do. When there is doubt in your mind over something, that is when we should ask Father for direction in our life. In His love for you, you will receive your just reward from Him.

Psalms 33:16 "There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: A mighty man is not delivered by much strength."

No king is saved because of the size of his army. It just doesn't matter how strong a mighty man is, for he is not delivered by any of his strength.

Psalms 33:17 "An horse is a vain thing for safety" Neither shall he deliver any by his great strength."

In battle it was nice to have an horse that could outrun the enemy to where you could escape being captured. To update that to modern times, even the fastest jet in our nation today will not help you. Just as the mighty man can't deliver himself, he can't help anyone else either. However in his vanity, he sure tries to deliver himself to safety.

Psalms 33:18 "Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him. Upon them that hope in His mercy;"

Father know each and every soul that will put their trust in Him, and give reverence to Him. Father singles out those that love and respect Him and He blesses them. Hope is something that you have faith in, sight unseen, and when you place your faith in Father and his mercies, you will be blessed. Father sees the work that you do for Him in the Lord, He sees your faith and knows your feelings for Him.

Psalms 33:19 "To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine."

Stop for a moment before you start forming opinions on this verse. There is only one person that can claim a soul and He is our heavenly Father following Judgment. The only time the soul can be taken in death is following the great white throne judgment.

Revelation 20:13 "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every man according to their works."

This is the great White throne Judgment of our Heavenly Father.

Revelation 20:14, 15 "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." [14] "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." [15]

In our generation the delivering a soul to death is giving it over to Satan the Antichrist, who is death. And as far as the famine is concerned, we are told in Amos 8:11 "Behold the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:"

The famine that we are facing today is in the hearing for the Word of the Lord. The Scriptures are not being taught, and the word is being substituted for all sorts of traditions in the church houses of today. The Word of the Lord is His counsel to you and I living today in this final generation. When that Word or counsel is sealed away in your mind, you will not be delivered up to death. No you will not go hungry in these latter day, but the Word being taught will grow quite scarce. Father will prepare you a table of his choice food, from His word, right in the presence of your enemies. That food is spiritual food from His Word, with understanding.

Psalms 33:20 "Our soul waiteth for the Lord: He is our help and our shield."

If you put all your trust in His, your soul can wait upon the Lord. Why? you know He is our sword and shield for our protection. You can trust Him, for He sees you when you are in trouble. The Shield is our part of our gospel armor, as is Ephesians 6:16 "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked."

Psalms 33:21 "For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name."

Psalms 33:22 "Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, According as we hope in Thee."

"Let thy mercy, oh Lord, come upon us, according as we have faith in thee." So it becomes a matter of faith that we have in our Lord and His holy Word. How much faith do you have? Don't pass over this verse, for our Father's mercies are upon us, "According as we have faith in Him [Thee]". Again "faith" is acting on something that is unseen, and basing the confidence of your actions on the beliefs that you hold dear in your mind. That faith is more than just a thinking process but it reaches right into the intellect of your soul, which is your spirit. God's mercy includes His love and forgiveness, as well as the wall of protection that he builds around us in these final days.
