As we have studied in the prior divisions of Psalms, The first book contained chapters 1-41and was called the Genesis book. The second volume or Exodus book were the chapters of Psalms 42-72, and now we are starting the third division or volume classified as the Leviticus Book of Psalms, and it will contain this 73rd chapter and run through Psalms 89. So this book addresses the Sanctuary of God, the temple or many membered body of Christ. It becomes essential that each of us understand these next 17 chapters of Psalms.

Then the forth book of Psalms 90 through 106 is the book relating to Numbers, and it has to do with Israel, and the nations of the earth. Then Psalms 107-150 will complete the final book that of Deuteronomy book of God and His Holy Word. These are the divisions within the book of Psalms.

"A Psalm of Asaph." "Asaph" means "a collector of the peoples". That collection of the people that are in the Sanctuary, however "Asaph" is standing outside the Sanctuary as this book begins. When you are outside the Sanctuary, there is nothing but confusion. Then when Asaph gets inside the Sanctuary it will become clear how this Sanctuary is in relation to man in general.

Psalms 73:1 "Truly God is good to Israel, Even to such as are of a clean heart."

God has been very good to Israel, all the tribes of Israel; Even to those living according to God's Word, and trying to do right.

Psalms 73:2 "But as for me, my feet were almost gone; My steps had well nigh slipped."

What David is saying is that he came to the point of almost making a big mistake. Keep in mind that he is outside the sanctuary, and there is nothing but confusion all around him. He looked at this earth age in prophecy, a the things he saw almost wiped him out mentally. Remember he was outside the temple, observing all the wicked ness that was going on at the time.

Psalms 73:3 "For I was envious at the foolish, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked."

"Envious" as used in the Hebrew text should read "angry"; and he was angry at the arrogance or boasting that was all around him. "When I saw the prosperity of the wicked and what they did with their wealth, it made me angry." Remember that he is telling us why he had almost slipped and fell away.

Psalms 73:4 "For there are no bands in their death: But their strength is firm."

"For there are no pangs in their death:" The Massorah calls attention to this Homonym (harzuboth) as occurring not only twice, but in two different senses. The other case is in Isaiah 58:6 "Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?"

Sure their strength is firm and strong health, but there is no pain in their death.

Psalms 73:5 "They are not in trouble as other men; Neither are they plagued like other men."

Keep in mind that this man is on the out side and he is taking a flesh man's view of everything that is going on around him of people in this earth age. It appears that certain people always have the upper hand, the drug peddlers, the people using heavy usuary and all the other wicked acts that are done are always coming out on top.

Psalms 73:6 "Therefore price compasseth them about as a chain; Violence covereth them as a garment."

There is no compassion to them, but their wealth is like a chain binding them to their pride, and they flaunt it in front of everyone.

Psalms 73:7 "Their eyes stand out with fatness: They have more than heart could wish."

You can see their vice in their eyes, and their wickedness and pride can be seen just looking into their eyes. They have more wickedness than any mind could think up.

Psalms 73:8 "They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: They speak loftily."

They are proud of the wicked plots that they devise to ensnare people. They look at their wickedness as something good and to be proud of, and they brag about it.

Psalms 73:9 "They set their mouth against the heavens, And their tongue walketh through the earth."

There is nothing sacred to them, for they will jest and joke about even the most sacred things of God and His Ways. They brag of all their wickedness, and their tongue can't wait to blaspheme God or anything else.

Psalms 73:10 "Therefore His People return hither: And waters of a full cup are wrung out to them."

This is what the wicked say. This is saying that when God's people come around them, they like to hear what they have to say. When God's people speak, they say that when you fill a cup with water wrung from those people of God, that is all the earthly blessing that God will give them. Those wicked ones say that even that cup of water will be given over to them when they get done with us. This verse is so true, for that is what is happening through usuary, and a taxing system that is controlled by their hidden monetary system. The four hidden dynasties of Economics, Education, Politics and Religion have tied us up and put us in their control to here we are nothing but slaves to their hidden systems. God's people are wrung out and drained of the blessings God has given to them.

Psalms 73:11 "And they say, "How doth God know? And is there knowledge in the MOST HIGH?"

This is what can cause you to almost slip and fall away from God, so pay attention to the confusion that is going on about you. This verse is tell of an agnostic, one that doesn't believe that there is a God. One that loves, creates and has control of all that goes on in this world. They simply will not believe anything that they cannot see with their eyes or think with their little human minds. This is a form of Communism, of the worst form.

Psalms 73:12 "Behold, these are the ungodly, Who prosper in the world; they increase in riches."

When the leftist or communist minds take control in any government or set of affairs, they leave that nation or situation in a very bad condition.

Psalms 73:13 "Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, And washed my hands in innocency."

When I observe all that is going on, it seems that my innocent hand can do nothing about it.

Psalms 73:14 "For all the day long have I been plagued, And chastened every morning."

Every morning that I get up and see a new day, there it is starting all over again.

Psalms 73:15 "If I say, "I will speak thus;" Behold, I offend against the generation of thy children."

I didn't say what my thoughts were out loud to offend someone, but that is what I though.

Psalms 73:16 "When I thought to know this, It was to painful for me:"

Every time I tried to understand the ways of this world, I simply could not understand the ways that their minds worked.

Psalms 73:17 "Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then understood I their end."

All the prior verses were viewing the world and its ways from the outside of the sanctuary of God, outside the ways of God's people as laid down in His Word. He said I could not understand anything until I read this seventeenth verse, then it all made sense. "Until I went into the Sanctuary of God; Then I understood [why they did what they did] their end." When you come into the body of truth, then you come to understand exactly why people slip and fall. When we join together in the many membered body of Christ, banding together, there is strength, and the ways of the world can be understood. You come to understand the hold that Satan has over this earth age and the people that are in it, and why people do what they do. When you enter into that Temple of God, which is Christ, you are following the whole Word of God which give you both understanding and protection from God. So now we go into the instruction from that Word, that gives us the understanding and protection from God.

The true body of Christ is not just people claiming to have religion, and not even under the name of Jesus, but they must have the entire Word, the truth to teach and practice those things of instruction that are in the Word. Most of those that claim to teach Jesus and Jesus only, and you will fine their sermons filled with tradition and their own imaginations. The only thing that matters is what is in or Father's Word, and the peace and assurance that comes from knowing those truths from His Word.

Psalms 73:18 "Surely Thou didst set them in slippery places: Thou castedst them down into destruction."

All the time I was outside the Sanctuary, I thought the wicked had it made, and now that I see the truth from within the Sanctuary, I know that the wicked are in very slippery places and are about to be cast down into destruction. Those that take pride in their evil ways are on a slippery path, and they are to blind to see where they will end up. When you understand where this earth age falls into God's overall plan, you can see that any desire to be as the wicked becomes insanity. The rewards of wickedness will be destruction to the wicked.

Psalms 73:19 "How are they brought into desolation, as in moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors."

This is even giving us the time of that moment when Christ returns, and all things of the flesh are done away with. I Corinthians 15:51-52 "Behold I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised [changed] incorruptible, and we shall be changed." At the seventh trumpet, Christ returns and all souls are immediately, instantly changed from this earthly flesh form, into their soul bodies as the angels have, of that other dimension. Then Christ fury will be poured out on the wicked. No there is no escape from that moment.

The moment you enter into that temple of the body of Christ and become a true believer of the truths of God's Word, you understand why all these things are allowed and appear to be that the wicked are winning out, but they are all nothing but an illusion. You understand the destruction that our Heavenly Father will bring upon the wicked and this earth age of the flesh. This is a very important time to be in that Temple, that Sanctuary, the body that rose from the tomb, and understand God's overall plan.

Psalms 73:20 "As a dream when one awaketh; So, O Lord, when Thou awakest, Thou shalt despise their image."

On that day of Christ's return, those that take part in this earth age of the flesh, tied to that system, and giving worship to the false Christ, will not even be allowed in the presence of Christ while here in the Millennium age.

Psalms 73:21 "Thus my heart was grieved, And I was pricked in my reins."

It hurt me to think of what was going to happen to those wicked ones.

Psalms 73:22 "So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before Thee."

My way of thinking was as a beast until I entered into that Sanctuary, and learned the truth of the plan of God's Word. Then I understood that God was not giving the wicked a break, but allowing them to choose the course of they lives, and they had chose that path to destruction. This should be a warning to those bottle sucking Christians that never want to go beyond the milk of the word, for a time is coming when it will take more than milk to arm yourself from the fiery darts of destruction that Satan will send your way.

Psalms 73:23 "Nevertheless I am continually with Thee: Thou hast holden me by my right hand."

God will see you through these end times, but you have to deserve it by your study and knowledge of these times we live in. You must ask God for His help, and try on your own to follow His Ways, or He doesn't want you. If you carry that milk bottle around for 70 years, then that was your choice and path that you have chose. Then you will be deceived when Satan arrives, for there will be a lot of it.

Psalms 73:24 "Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel. And afterward receive me to glory."

This Word of God is God's counsel. It is from that Word that you will be brough to God's glory, with all the rewards that are and will come from that word, which is to say, His kingdom. God's Word gives the answer to every thing in this flesh life on this earth.

Psalms 73:25 "Whom have I in heaven but Thee: And there is none upon the earth that I desire beside Thee."

There is no one on the face of this earth do I desire to be my counsel or my protector then Thee Lord. When we consider all that are in heaven and here on earth, it is only Thee that I can continually count upon.

Psalms 73:26 "My flesh and my heart faileth: But God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever."

There is only one real strength and real portion that is filling for ever, and that one is our Heavenly Father. Salvation is the first step in approaching our Father, and that must be in Jesus' name, for Jesus paid the price on the cross with his blood. It takes more than that first step to become an overcomer, for it takes the entire armor of God; the entire Word of God to prepare us for the time just ahead of our generation. When you become saved, that is the time to prepare to have the strength of heart to withstand those attacks that will come your way. It is time to get off that spiritual milk bottle and on to the meat of the word to gain the spiritual strength to stand against Satan and those supernatural beings that will be here on earth. It is time to come into the true Sanctuary of God, for Christ is that Sanctuary, and we come in to that place when we study His Word.

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." This Word was with God in the beginning, yet it was God, then we read in the 14th verse; "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." Jesus Christ was with the Father, of the Father, both from the beginning of time to the time He was born of the virgin Mary. The truth of the Word of God is what Jesus taught, and that is why the religious leaders of His day sought to murder him. All of His teaching came from the prophets of the Old Testament, and Jesus Himself said in Matthew 5:17, 18: "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. [17] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." [18]

Psalms 73:27 "For, lo, they that are far from Thee shall perish: Thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from Thee."

This is a warning to those that like to drift away for God's Word and into the world around them. You are either going to be in His Word and close to our Heavenly Father, or you are going to perish. God is telling you exactly what will be done to those that like to go whoring after Satan's things of this world age. Jesus taught this in His ministry in the sanctuary that in that day there are a lot of people that say, "I come in Jesus name." but I did not send them. Matthew 24:5 "For many shall come in My name, saying I am Christ; and shall deceive many."

In Mark 13:22 Jesus said; "For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold all things." Remember that Jesus is the Word, He is eternal, and He spoke through the prophets of old, and that is why and how He has foretold us all things. If you willingly reject those warnings of Jesus, then you will be seduced and fall for those false signs and lying supernatural wonder that will be preformed in our generation, at the coming of Satan in his role as the Antichrist, or "instead of Christ". Many in our day are claiming, "I am an teacher of Jesus, and evangelist of Jesus," and they will deceive many as they teach their traditions of men, and try to pass it off as the Word of God. Many will go whoring after another god, and that god will be Satan.

Heaven is mentioned here, and there is another coming from heaven that will deceive the entire world. Revelation 12:7-9 tells of that coming. "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels," [7] "And prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven." [8] "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." [9]

Antichrist will come first from heaven and take over the earth for a while, and if you are waiting for a rapture from this god that come first, you will be taken you Satan. That is a fact. Those false teachers that teach the rapture will show you the way for a quick trip out of here and right into Satan's arms. The rapture that so many are teaching today simply is not written in our Father Word, nor did Jesus or any of His apostles teach it. It was from Satan, and part of the traditions from those that claim to be "teachers of Jesus". They are the false ones Jesus spoke of as we read in Matthew 24:5, and Mark 13:22. You had better take our Father's counsel and get into the Sanctuary, which is the instruction of Jesus Christ, and become skilled in His Word.

Psalms 73:28 "But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, That I may declare all Thy works."

Don't be foolish and ignorant concerning the Word of God, or you will go whoring after the false Christ. How do you draw near to God? By your songs and praises? Sure that is part of the form of worship, but you draw near to God you must understand what God thinks, and what is pleasing to Him. The Word of God is the mind of God. The entire Word allows us to see what pleases our Heavenly Father and what makes him angry. These words are from God's mind and that allows us to know how to draw near to hour Father.

You draw near to God by praying that His Holy Spirit will anoint you and give you the gift of understanding of all of His Word. As you grow in His Word, you draw near to God and He to you. Just how in this world are you going to declare any of God's mighty works unless the understanding of those works are made know to you? You have to study His Word to know those works, and then with the leading of the Holy Spirit you can declare them to the men and women of this earth age of the flesh.
