The Book of II Peter
For if these things be in you, and abound,
they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."

"And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; [5] And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; [6] And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. [7]

2 Peter 1:5-7

The books of reference used for this study of the book of II Peter were the Bible, King James Version, called "The Companion Bible", Publisher Kregel; Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, numbered to the Hebrew, Chaldee, and Greek, and English, coded to the Strong's Concordance numbers.

Other sources were also used besides these references, but they were the major source of the study. Of course without the leading by the Holy Spirit, there would be no understanding of the truths, for all the truth of the Scriptures are revealed to us by God's Spirit.

John 15:26
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

John 16:13-14
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
