Cast Out Onto Earth

We begin with notes from E.W. Bullinger’s Book: Commentary
on Revelation
Bullinger’s translation of Revelation Chapter 12: 9-12:
Revelation Chapter 12: 9-12
9 And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent; who is called
the Devil, and Satan, he who deceiveth the whole world: he was cast
down unto the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now is come the
salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the
authority of His Christ: because the accuser of our brethren is cast
down, who accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because
of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even
unto death.
12 Therefore Rejoice, ye heavens, and ye who dwell in them. Woe to the
earth and to the sea! because the devil is come down to you, having
great fury, knowing that he hath but a short season.
Excerpts from page 412
“When Satan is cast down, "he hath but a short time,"
which is definitely stated to be 3 1/2 years, during which he is wroth
with the woman, and makes war with the remnant of her seed (12.
14-17). This "Woe" is the last of a series of three (8. 13);
and must, therefore, be subsequent to the first two, which at this
stage will have passed (11. 14). The third is proclaimed in chap. 12.
12, and consists of the casting out of Satan.”
“This conclusively shows that, though this vision of chapter 12 is
anticipative, the actual casting out cannot take place till the
middle of the last of the seventy weeks (Dan. 9. 27).”
7 years split into 2 x 3 1/2 years.
“But now, in the middle of the week, the crisis or ‘Third Woe’
comes (Rev,12. 12). Satan is cast out.”
Daniel 12:7 KJV
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of
the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto
heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a
time, times, and an half; and when he (Antichrist)
shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all
these things shall be finished.
Now time, times, and an half =
3 1/2 years. That 3 1/2 years has been shortened to 2 1/2
months, half of the 5 months.
Satan is cast out in the middle of the
week, middle of the last week, for the last 3 1/2 years,
shortened to 2 1/2 months.
Now let’s go to Revelation 8:1
for a second witness.
Revelation 8:1 And when He had opened the
seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an
hour.
Now this is when Pastor Arnold Murray
teaches that Satan is cast down unto earth defacto, for half an hour,
3 1/2 years = 2 1/2 months.

Now
let’s go to scripture in the Book of John and see when that happens.
John 12:1 Then Jesus six days before the Passover
came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom He raised
from the dead.
John 12:12 On the next day much people that were come
to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem.
So now we are 5 days before Passover.
John 12:27 Now is My soul troubled; and what shall I
say? Father, save Me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto
this hour.
John 12:28 Father, glorify Thy name. “Then came
there a voice from heaven , saying, “I have both glorified it, and
will glorify it again,”
Now this voice from heaven was the Father,
and when the Father speaks we better listen.
John 12:29 the people therefore, that stood by,
and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, “An angel spake
to Him,”
John 12:30 Jesus answered and said, “This voice
came not because of Me, but for your sakes.
John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now
shall the prince of this world be cast out.
Companion Bible Side Column: prince = ruler, Gr,
archon; applied to Satan as prince of this world.
So we see this happens 5 days before
Passover in whatever year it's going to be.
