When the Two Witnesses Arrive

Daniel 9:27 And he (Little horn) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week, (7 years) and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
 
Abominations he shall make it desolate = the abomination that maketh desolate.  Compared with Matthew 24:15

Matthew 24:15  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whosoreadeth, let him understand)

This is when Antichrist sits in the Holy place. (Jerusalem, Temple mount) this is in the last 3 1/2 year segment shortened to the last 2 1/2 month segment.
 
So we have 7 years split into two  3 1/2 year segments.  Now in Revelation Chapter 9 we see that Christ shortened that time to 5 months, split into two  2 1/2 month periods.

And we were told that Christ would shorten those days in Mark 13:20
 
Mark 13:20  And except that the LORD had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved; but for the elect's sake, whom He hath chosen, He hath shortened the days.
 
Revelation Chapter 9 is about the locust army.
 
Revelation 9:5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months; and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
 
Revelation 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast; and they worshipped the beast, saying, ”Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”
 
Revelation 13:5  And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
 
Forty and two months = 3 1/2 years,  months = moons of the night, always given for Satan's time. This is the last 3 1/2 year period shortened to 2 1/2 months
 
Revelation 11:3  And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
 
The two witnesses have one thousand two hundred and threescore days, = 3 1/2 years,  days = light.  This is the last 3 1/2 year period shortened to 2 1/2 months
 
Now 1260 days are longer then 42 months, so we see that the two witnesses will be arriving a few days before Antichrist arrives in Jerusalem claiming to be God.
 
So we should be looking for the two witnesses about 2 1/2 months into the 5 month period of the locusts.
