Two
Years Before the Earthquake
By Servant of God
This study does not seek to set dates, but to align
current events with scripture.
Now in the book of Amos “Two years
before the earthquake” that would be 689 – 688 a Jubilee
year. (see Companion Bible image from the book of Amos at the bottom
of this post)
Amos Chapter
1:1
The words of Amos,
who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in
the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son
of Joash king of Israel, TWO YEARS BEFORE THE EARTHQUAKE.
(before the one well known and remembered. Cp. Zech.14.
5)
Zechariah
14:4
And His feet shall
stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem
on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof
toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great
valley ; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and
half of it toward the south.
Zechariah
14:5
And ye shall flee to
the valley of the mountains ; for the valley of the mountains shall
reach unto Azal : yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before THE
EARTHQUAKE in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God
shall come, and all the saints with Thee.
So the earthquake is when the LORD`S
feet stand upon the mount of Olives, and two years before the
EARTHQUAKE would be a Jubilee year.
Now the last Jubilee in Israel was
2017 – 2018. If we add 2 years until the EARTHQUAKE (Lord`s
return) then you arrive at 2019 – 2020. There are many signs
pointing to 2020
In 2017 and 2018, Israel has been
celebrating what we call Jubilee years — its 70th birthday that
year, coupled with celebrations in 2017 of 120 years to the first
Zionist Congress, 100 years to the Balfour Declaration, 70 years to
the UN Partition plan, 50 years to the Six Day War and the
reunification of Jerusalem, and 40 years to the historic visit of
Anwar Sadat to Israel. As an Israeli diplomat,
1948 + 70 = 2018, generation of the
fig tree? 40 years = probation 120 years a generation, 50
years = Jubilee, Pentecost
1967 was a Jubilee year (50 years)
now if you add 50 to 1967 you get 2017 - 2018 you get another Jubilee
year.

Excerpt from Pastor Arnold
Murray's study in the Minor Prophets: Amos Chapter 1:1 - 2 :3
Amos
1:1
1 The words of Amos,
who was among the herdman of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in
the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son
of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
That's why you can pretty well date
it okay and verse two:
Amos
1:2
2 And he said, The
Lord will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the
habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall
wither.
You know there is another place that
you can you can read this and you can read it in Zechariah chapter 14
and in verse 4 and an interesting thing in verse five it reads:
Zechariah
14:5
5 And ye shall flee
to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall
reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like
as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of
Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with
thee.
Prophetically speaking we see the
end you've heard me say many times I could teach the book of
Revelation from that 14th chapter of Zachariah and in that great
earthquake Father has benchmarks whereby he catches our attention and
much prophecy hinges upon that if we had read verse 4 of that
fourteenth chapter it speaks of Christ of arriving on the Mount of
Olives and splitting away just as the
earthquake right to that east gate in a mountain Zion Father's
favorite place on earth a place that in Ezekiel 16 he made an eternal
covenant with that he would always that would be his abode that's
where the Heavenly Kingdom would be established in the Eternity.
Zechariah
14:4
4 And his feet shall
stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem
on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof
toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great
valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and
half of it toward the south.
verse 3 to continue
Amos 1:3
3 Thus saith the
Lord; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not
turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead
with threshing instruments of iron:
In other words of that rocky region
they had no mercy on my people verse 4 but I will send a fire into the
house of Hazael and whom whom God sees ok he sees him alright he's
going to send a fire right after him which shall devour the palaces of
Ben-hadad and you know God takes note even in these end times as we
come to that time that consummates the end of this age God's
paying attention he's observing he's watching.
Amos 1:5
5 I will break also
the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven,
and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the
people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the Lord.
Hey it's going to happen okay Father
does not appreciate people non-believers making sport or over
exercising their the captivity against his children and he says I've
watched it it happens again and again and again that's three times and
even a fourth you kind of have the limitations of God I would say if
you ever do something three times and maybe on the fourth you better
get your act together because that means God is about to take action
he kind of gives himself a number here three and one more and that's
it.
verse 6
Amos 1:6
6 Thus saith the
Lord; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn
away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the
whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:
That's to say Rosh or Russia that's
to say I saw of the end times just they you all are familiar with Gaza
and you know what happens there today and again and again and again
God there's a point where God gets fed up.
recap:
So when you put the last Jubilee
year in Israel 2017 - 2018 and 2 years after the earthquake (Zechariah
14:5) then put the 70, 120, 40 years of the
generations plus the 50 year Jubilee
all together, God is telling His Elect something. Then take the
70 years of Zechariah and Jeremiah, it's all lining up, i.e., after
70 years I will visit the king of Babylon.
